Visit Thai Mango for a fine Thai cuisine by Chef Nicole.
We love to try new Thai restaurants as we travel and we were not disappointed. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our drink and food orders were also taken promptly. The complimentary spring rolls were hot and flavorful. The Tom Yum soup was a large bowl and had great flavor and the Thai Chilli Fish Sauce added just the right amount of heat. We both ordered the Thai Basil Chicken as our entree and it was delicious as well. The atmosphere was typical for this type of setting We will definitely return in the future.
I gauge a good Thai restaurant based on their Mango sticky rice as not all offer it since it’s so time consuming to make. Thai Mangos was amazing! The Tom Kha soup was also delicious, so full of flavor. Definitely a great spot for authentic Thai food! The presentation for the pineapple fried rice was great as well and enough to share!
Do not overlook this gem! Every dish we've eaten here is perfectly prepared. The flavor experience is unmatched. We love the pineapple rice dish and their curry is the best we've ever had! Do yourself a favor, order their black pudding and a Thai coffee for dessert.
Excellent only $12.50for lunch!! Boba tea is fire.
Panamg red curry w beef chickenpox or 🍤 shrimp is amazing..why eat fast food.go get something healthy. The fresh rolls and peanut sauce are so good you'll slap you mammy for a bite.
A+++++
the food was AWESOME everyone cleaned their plates it was so good
Delicious Thai food and wonderful people. Highly recommended!
Food is awesome. We love Thai food. Enjoy
Great thai food. We are regulars for take out.

Very authentic & great customer service. Comfortable environment and several options. My go to Thai
Super friendly service. The food was served very fast. It was hot and tasted wonderful.
Very good fresh, hot food. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is very clean and hospitable. We'd go back again.
Phenomenal food, and excellent service. We love Thai Mango 🥭 😋

Best thai food in the state of florida. Owners are kind, caring, and food is authentic isaan
Not what it used to be. Very disappointing. Very high price point for the quality.

Yummy Thai Food
The food is amazing, the decor is nice and comfy. Unique gem in NSB.
Best thai there is!
Overall this is an ok restaurant. The review that said modest prices was clearly an employee- they are completely overpriced. A soup and pineapple rice will cost you about $40-$45.
The pineapple rice should be completely delicious, except..it isn't. For some reason the flavors are not blended well. It tastes like all the ingredients were made separately, then tossed in with the rice. Overall the dish has a peanut oil taste- it's super shocking that a $20 rice dish would taste pan fried but I expected it to be so good since it's a feature menu item.
The shrimp portion was good, other ingredients not bad. There's a somewhat decent amount of large pineapple chunks but not a lot throughout. If they were chopped smaller it might bring some flavor in to the dish.
There's nothing to blend the flavors together, it's just so odd.
The other dish I ordered was their coconut curry chicken soup. This was a much better selection, flavorful, my favorite. The curry and coconut, peanut sauce was really good. Great mixture of veges. It was spicier than I liked but after they told me I could have ordered it mild.
The atmosphere is just a family diner in a strip mall. It honestly isn't anything special.
The staff are so nice, efficient and the meal is done quickly. When you call in an order, they understands you and you can understand them. The curry chicken soup Saves this place- everything else so far is a pass. If it were not so overpriced I'd maybe go more often to try other things but seeing dishes come out with wilted overcooked broccoli and the dish looking overcooked is just not appealing. Dizzy a shame, they could be a 5 star with a few tweaks.
Their online menu prices are not accurate. A plate of pad Thai will cost you 17$ and if you want chicken add 3$. I realize times are tough but this is pure robbery. Their food is decent at best but they are charging insane prices for what you get. Save your money and take yourself to Longwood and eat amazing food at Thailicious for way cheaper.
Online menu prices are very inaccurate. I opted to not go to a restaurant that was near me because Thai Mango's price for Tom Yum was only $5.00, as opposed to the other places being $8.00. I ordered two soups expecting to pay $10.70. It was $18.00. That was a shock and I felt fooled.
Wow, bad experience in every way. First, they don't have a full menu on their website so I had to call and work through an order without a menu or prices. The problem started when I picked up my Thai Pad w/tofu and two spring rolls, and was faced with a bill for $26!!! I've never heard of prices like that from a run down strip plaza asian restaurant so never thought to ask how much it would be so that's on me. Anyway, they made it so I paid it figuring well if anything it must be pretty good. Couldn't be further from the truth. I choked half of it down and threw the rest away. No flavor as advertised and the tofu was overdone with whatever method they used to brown it. In this economy it really hurts to pay $26 for something you basically threw away. PS - the cashier was super nice so I did give an additional tip on top of the $26 so as not to penalize someone not responsible for the above described experience.
Always great!!
Our Favorite!!
First time and last time,I am from Asia I know what’s real Thai food, this is very west Thai food,if anyone want real thai food go to the Thai kitchen at port orange .
Come here if you have a very basic palette for Thai food and money to waste. Very unflavorful Panang Curry and Tofu Fresh roll. I did not like the flavors years ago when they were on Canal and looks like I will not be going to this new location ever again. What a shame. New Smyrna needs to step up their Thai food game.
Fabulous as always, love the new location! It felt warm, inviting and the food was absolutely outstanding. So glad you're back Thai Mango, you were sorely missed!
The ginger tea is delicious and good-sized servings too
Food, people, atmosphere were all a 10+. Third time and ready to come back again and again.
The food is great! The people are friendly. I would love to see this restaurant succeed.
The location on canal st was such a good spot so I’m sad that it was moved. It’s now in a strip mall and the floor plan is, odd and tight. I think with the right management this place could be really successful! Definitely should consider a better location and going for a finer dining experience, especially for justifying the price per plate.
What can I say? Great food and great service. I had the roasted duck and it was great, my wife had the Pad Thai and she loved it too. We had a bowl of Tom Yom soup and it was delicious. Thanks for the great experience we will be back again.
The new location is very nice! Good was delicious and plentiful!!
So happy you are back! Best Thai food around!
Food service person argued w my husband about his beer being warm...she had no idea about temp..he had to tell her, then she said yes cooler was broken..good small portions..expensive for no tablecloths, and in shopping center we ont go back!!!
Wonderful Thai food. Everything was delicious, perfect temperature and spice. Highly recommended
The food was very good., the prices were very expensive for a strip mall Thai restaurant.
Food and service is always exceptional. My go to for Thai food for eating in and carry out in volusia county!
They re-opened next to the old K-Mart on 44. The food and service is still the best!
Closed and for rent. 😒
Expensive for the area. Beware, they charge you a fee if you pay with a card.
Very good food. Good restaurant. Good service. Nothing amazing or superior. Just good
Gteeat flavorful food, bursting flavors. Little pricey for lunch
To those stating that this is not authentic, you’re showing your ignorance on a public forum and I’m embarrassed for you. All but two employees are Thai or Cambodian, the owner (who is the same as always…the location moved, it did not change ownership) is Thai. I lived in Thailand and while some ingredients are hard to come by in the US the food is quite authentic. The staff is courteous, though they rightfully don’t stand for abuse from ill mannered customers. As for spice level complaints, (whining that the food was bland, etc…) you select your preferred spice level. That’s on you. The “salty brown liquid” was probably fish sauce based, which is a common ingredient in Thai food. Perhaps those griping simply don’t like authentic Thai food but wanted to create a facade of worldliness by pretending to know what they are on about. If that’s the case, no need to write nasty, ill-informed reviews in an effort to harm a small business, just go eat at one of the many derivative Italian or American restaurants in town so you don’t have to be inconvenienced by your own self-exposure to a cuisine you clearly don’t have the palate for. By the way, to the chicken spring roll reviewer…they don’t have those on the menu. Seriously people, get a life.
My favorite place of our whole trip! Daytona area seems to suffer from flavorless food, and as a result we were really disappointed in most places we went. Thai Mango offered delicious, flavorful food. We both ordered a shrimp noodle dish, one spicy and one not. Both were great. The thai tea was so good that I had to order another to go. The only thing I'd change is for the shrimp in the pasta to have the tails removed. It's a bit of a challenge to remove them when your food is saucy.
Delicious! We’ve loved everything we’ve tried and the staff is always awesome
Very overpriced for below average food.
Great food & drinks and excellent service! Will definitely be back to try more dishes!
Food is delicious and high quality. The water tastes clean.
Early bird specials have good deals.
Delicious food, friendly and efficient staff. Definitely a place to go over and over.
Wontons, dumplings, thai chow mein bomb.
Also Rowan was my server. Very silly.
I am so glad we decided to try this restaurant! The food was amazing! Started with stuffed fried mushrooms. AMAZING! They were the most wonderful appetizer I have ever had! Jasmine fried rice was spectacular and the Pad Thai! So Yummy. Service was impeccable. Can't wait to go again!
Excellent food
I always loved their restaurant in the other location and I plan on going back again for the Masmun curry. <3 Rowan also was a kind and helpful soul!
Best Thai Around and Great Customer Service! Highly Recommended!
The best Thai food ever !!!!
my husband and I went here I was really excited to try a new Thai place but I was disappointed. we ordered the Tom yum, pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles. (3 of our favorites) the Tom yum tasted like tomato soup. The pineapple rice displayed ok but the pineapple was ice cold on warm rice. The drunken noodles were ok after I asked that they put the basil in the dish, I guess they don't use it for that. I don't feel like this is authentic Thai food. I actually cook Thai food a lot and was confused by the menu. Also, I'm not sure if they charged us our credit card but if they did that's wrong! My husband and I were both sick the next day. Unfortunately we won't be back. We will go back to our usual Thai place.
Food was excellent! Service was too!
This menu is authentic. It is delicious delicious you'll have to try it
Good food and friendly customer service.
Quality food, friendly and attentive staff and a great price. This is a great place to go for Thai food.
Great thai food. Wonderful service.
Great food good service...Pineapple fried rice spot on
Delicious
Most delicious Thai food
Everything about this resturant is GREAT! Excellent food PERFECTLY prepared, large portions, phenominal pricing, attentive & respectful staff... Truly an unknown jewel.
Killer Thai food and super friendly staff
Delicious food & wonderful service! This was my 2nd visit & just as good as the 1st.
For ♿: This is wheelchair friendly with a nice smooth ramp. If it's busy, the bathroom can be a little bit of a challenge to get to, but most people don't mind moving. I have a 🦼and it fit into the bathroom, a little tight but I've seen worse. Great parking lot for adaptive vans.
The Panang was delicious
The calamari was lightly battered and tender. The pad thai was a little too sweet for my taste.
Great flavors coming out of their kitchen, they are harmonious and well balanced. You can get to pick the level of spiciness of your food. The dinning atmosphere is unpretentious but the food is amazing. Great service, I'm sure I'll be visiting again. Don't forget to try the Thai tea!
Clean appeared understaffed
Meal was NOT hot
Lots of chicken very few vegetables which appeared to be reheated the veg were not freshly done
Could not recommend this restaurant
It was good but when we asked for gluten free the dish we got was barely seasoned
Great food fast service every time!
The food was expensive and they cheaped out on the ingredients. The crab dish that came with rice was more of a hunt for crab, it was so scarce. Green curry is typically green from all the Thai eggplant. There was a shockingly small amount of eggplant in this dish and it contained a lot of zucchini. This was listed on the menu, but I was surprised to see it dominate the dish and for the eggplant to be difficult to find. Is it expensive or hard to find? I wouldn't think so. Overall disappointed. I guess it would all make sense at a much cheaper price point. Not going back, would not recommend.
A absolute must go to. We get perfection food with every visit.
This place was recommended by our friends that live in oak hill so
We decided to check it out... Big mistake. Definitely not authentic Thai food ago all. The absolute worst tofu I have ever eaten. It was like cardboard. And the service left us feeling like we an inconvenience. Apparently this place was sold
To a new owner and I am thinking she needs some
Cooking lessons ...
We
wont be going back ...
Everything here is delicious, and I'd walk a mile for the coconut milk soup!
Very disappointing! The meal was ruined for us when the check came and I saw an “NCA” charge at the bottom of the receipt. I knew what it was but asked just to be amused. The waitress said it was for using the credit card. This practice is actually against Visa/MasterCard policy. You cannot charge people for the privilege of using a credit card which is clearly what they are doing here. We use to frequent this place once a week. No more. You lost us! Charge me to use a credit card! If you want to absorb the costs of using a credit card, raise your prices but don’t charge me!
Additionally, this place like all places who move and/or expand has gone downhill. Very disappointing as they had good food at the old place. We wish them the best of luck and hope they clean up their act.
Good food always consistent, Nicole and all the staff are kind and pleasant. Disappointed with last few visits. Terrible wait staff
Pad Thai and Thai coffee were both great. The menu has everything you would expect from a Thai restaurant. The peanut sauce is also top notch. The service was good too.
Good service, food was good( first visit)
Very good. I've had a lot of Thai food and this was as good as some of my favorite places. Great service too.
This was one of the most horrible meals I have eaten, nonetheless, Thai meal. Despite the two Asian ladies advertised on their website, there is not a single Asian person working at this restaurant. So, if you are after Thai food, this is not the place. Worse yet, if you are just looking for some decent food, stay away. The place is filthy and the food is disgusting. Everything is cooked in the same salty brown liquid.
We ordered the deep fried fish with chili sauce and asked if the fish was frozen. The waitress did not know. That means that it was frozen. As matter of fact, she possesses that she does not eat the food there. That should have been a sign to leave, but we decided, how bad can you screw up fried fish, so we went ahead and ordered the dish. The dish came out smelling fishy, it tasted like it has been frozen for years. It was so bad that I got sick the next day and could not fathom the idea of seafood. The pad see ew was swimming in a disgusting brown liquid that was so salty that your blood pressure probably would hit the roof if you were to eat it. The beef was so tough that we had to spit it back out. The noodle used was the wrong noodle for this dish. So, we decided not to try to poison ourselves and returned it. From the look of the other dishes that came out, all the food came out in the same brown liquid.
Worst yet, they sneaked in a 3.5% charge for using a credit card without informing us of such. I did not see it until I got home.
I am not sure how the restaurant received the other high reviews. It is very deceiving, You could not pay me to eat here again.
This place used to be awesome! So disappointed in my order that we picked up! Chili Fried rice was very dry and no flavor! Not sure if they have a new cook. But so deflated
Food was totally amazing. Fabulous flavors. Be there next time I eat out.
Everyone was very nice. Their specialty curry is delicious!
Some of the best pad Thai around! The spring rolls are amazing! Quick service and friendly staff! The prices are a little steep but worth it.
Great food and service.
Don't know what the bad reviews are about. My girl, and I enjoyed our meals. Good service, good food, and friendly staff.
Had a great vegan plant based meal at Thai Mango. The menu doesn't look that vegan friendly but they were very understanding and accommodating. We had the tofu pineapple fried rice, and 2 different curries. The only thing is to make sure to specify vegan on the meals. The curry we had was made from scratch as by default they use animal broth. I do wish they had a dedicated vegan menu though.
Lots of vegan/plant-based and gluten free options! Had the summer rolls, pineapple fried rice and Mas-man curry with tofu. My husband had red curry with tofu. They have to make vegan curries from scratch so it takes a bit longer but it's well worth the wait! Their pineapple fried rice is to die for! Best tofu in the area (including Daytona, Port Orange, and Ormond). It would be a lot better if the restaurant had a dedicated vegan menu.
I was excited to try Thai food for the first time, unfortunately the food was SO disappointing! They informed me when ordering that their prices went up like 2 dollars more than listed on the web. They got our order wrong, we ordered Spring rolls with Chicken they gave us two spring rolls with one piece of Shrimp in one of them no meat in the other. We ordered a side of Peanut sauce they had a Thai Tea waiting. Our entrees were very unpleasant, the pork(I am assuming it was pork that's what we asked for)was so overcooked that it was rubbery and hard to chew. They also add a charge on your bill if you don't pay with cash. I will try Thai food again but never here.
yummy food, quaint atmosphere, great service. thanks :)
Just ok
The food was blah, the sauces were watered down and the whole batch didn't appear fresh. Definitely a bust.
The pad this was delicious!
The Thai Beef Salad was yummy!
The food can have great flavor one day and then no flavor on the next visit... Very inconsistent.
Also, the older lady always seems upset and not pleasant. I would eat here more often if the taste/flavors we’re more consistent and the older lady had a better attitude/ more friendly.
S. Phinney, should not be in customer service.
Cooked fresh, great service!
Holy **** people I ordered Phad Thai and oh sweet jesus. It was the most savory, succulent, delicious Phad Thai I have ever tasted in my entire life.
You know how some restaurants skimp you on meat when they make you Phad Thai. Not here folks. They meticulously calculated a god given golden ratio of delicious, flavorful chicken that perfectly compliments every bite. You don't have to carefully save the chicken so you have enough for every bite towards the end like you do other places. They give you plenty.
Thank you Lord for putting this incredibly kind family owned Thai Restaurant in my life. I promise to sin less and be a better person in the name of Thai Mango.
All around perfect and ideal dining experience! A definite new regular place for me and the hubby.
Tasty Thai .
My family and I used to eat in or takeout at least once a week when it was over on
Canal Street. Such a quaint place to dine. Amazing and attentive staff. Amazing meals!!! Fast forward to the new location. Sadly it’s not the same. Not sure if it was taken over by someone new, but I did not recognize any of the staff. They were very scattered and not attentive to the patrons. Also, the food has suffered as well. I ordered takeout one evening and was told it was the usual 30 minute wait. I arrived and was in the lobby with 4 other people waiting for their takeout and I stood there an additional 40 minutes. No one offered an apology or explanation. Going to miss this little gem.
Great Thai food!
Excellent as always!❤
👍
Had the cucumber salad, spring rolls, Panang curry, and chicken pad Thai - Some of the best Thai food we’ve had. We’re from Chicago where there’s Thai restaurants everywhere- and this place is just as good or better than any of them. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re anywhere near the NSB area. Did I mention the $3.50 Yuenglings? Yum.
Good food and good service. Lunch prices are very reasonable!
Great service and amazing food!!
The food and service are amazing. I highly recommend the Thai Ice Coffee.
Last night we ordered out from the new location on US 1. I ordered dumplings, one of my favorites. Still scrumptious! The green curry with pork was also very good. My wife ordered yellow curry with tofu — she ate every drop. Friendly staff and spacious location. The tiki style sushi bar adds great ambiance.
We decided to eat at Thai Mango today (June 1st) for lunch to see how the relocation went to the new address. Understanding they have just recently reopened the food was excellent but the service staff were having some issues. It wasn't crowded so not sure if they were possibly new or improperly trained. After taking our drink and food order she never once stopped by our booth again walking past us several times as we were trying to get her attention. She didn't ask about refilling our tea or how the food was. A younger gentleman brought our food to the table. We finally had to ask him to bring us our bill after waiting approx 10min. Certainly hope this improves as the food was very good.
Thai Mango has moved to a new location on Dixie Freeway next to Blackbeards. The food is excellent and atmosphere quite charming. The service is very good also ! We will definitely be returning
Amazing place yummy food ,clean, kind staff and a peaceful atmosphere <3 it is my all time favorite place to eat !
This place is closed now. It will reopen next week according to the owner.
Very disappointed
First visit. Clean. Helpful staff. Nice variety on menu. Reasonable prices
I ordered my dish medium and It was so unbelievably hot that I couldn’t eat it. I took the smallest sip and I suffered for a significant period of time. It felt like I drank straight fire from the pits of hell. The people were very nice. I added milk to my curry to make it bearable. The flavor was delicious.
We were not familiar with strictly Thai food. Have had pad Thai at oriental places, that's about it.
We went for lunch and shared 2 appetizers and rack got a bowl of soup.
It all came out together, the calamari had been sitting so was not hot, hardly warm.
The soups were hot and tasty. Hubby had one with coconut milk and shrimp. I had the broth soup with chicken. My soup was very good, different from other soups. Had a little heat and you could taste the lemon grass.
We thought the soft rolls were pricey for what eat in them. Lots of lettuce, veggies and hardly a taste of shrimp. (Two for$6)
Maybe then are very labor intensive, that's why so $$.
The lunch plates looked like the best deal.
Fantastic food and not crowded with tourists.
I love food and nice people
I'm eating Pad Kee Mao atm and it's very good! So much flavor! And the Thai ice tea is rich and yummy! Def, you should eat here!
Excellent food. Excellent service. A very nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend it
Delicious Thai food. The restaurant was very clean and the prices are very fair.
Thai mango does not deliver! They do not work threw grub hub too many issues-
It's a great place for in dining, not good for take out. I did not get what I ordered to far and late to drive back and it was car night had to park faraway. Rice was dry, shrimp was tough.no sause, just. Steamed, vegtables in water Eat in so you can see what you are getting send it back if not right
Take out is delicious! Recommend the pad see ew, and the thai fried rice. Big portions and very tasty!
Good service and great food!
Quick and friendly service for take out
Very tasty food.
1st experience while in the area
Ate the chicken fried rice and basil noodles. Yumm
To go dinner the padthai was ok no crisp veggie kinda soggy noodles.. the soup was good
Food was very good as was the service , we were a party of 11 and they were very helpful and attentive.
Great Thai - lovely atmosphere
It was a good time pretty good waitress
GREAT food, GREAT service...we love this place !
A friend and I went Friday evening for dinner and our waitress was so nice! She explained the things she knew on the menu to my friend and recommended the thai coffee which is amazing! Not to mention the food was above average for a decent price. We will be back
Pad Thai wasn't good
Good Thai and very affordable
Delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Alexa was very helpful. Masaman curry was great =)
Nice staff, food reasonable, not enough shrimp ( 5 small pieces). Need to maintain the structure a little.
Excellent food-handmade dumplings w/sauce, outstanding Larb Kai. Can’t wait to eat here again.
The food is stellar and Alexa is an amazing server! 5 star service every time!!
Very good, very clean, good value. Their "Thai hot" is for professional spicy food eaters only.
As a Thai person it's hard to find a legit place to eat. Their food is good but the flavor is nothing remarkable.
Loved it clean fresh tasted
