This is our favorite spot whenever we’re in the mood for sushi. This time, we were excited to bring some friends who had never visited a sushi Thai restaurant before. As expected, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and promptly seated. Our waiter was exceptional and friendly. The menu offers a wide range of meal options. We ordered sushi, soup, spring rolls, curry, and the 'special connection' meal. As always, the food was freshly prepared, delicious, and the hot dishes were served at the perfect temperature. Every bite was tasty, with just the right amount of spices and sauces. The food presentation was also excellent. The atmosphere inside was great, with spacious seating so you don’t feel crammed. During the cooler winter months, it’s recommended to ask for outdoor seating to soak up the Naples Avenue atmosphere. Make sure to book in advance.

Very warm, attentive kind servers like Areeya, cool atmosphere, tasty food at value prices considering everything including the portion size/quality/area you're in, nice presentation, and really cool decor and traditional Thai design tapestries on the wall and some great booths! I had the pork in ginger sauce, it was very flavorful and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. I asked for Thai hot but still had to add more heat. My wife had the shrimp and broccoli but the broccoli was barley cooked. Her dirty martini was excellent and we had a good time overall. Service was good.

My fiancé and I went on Wednesday June 5th and we had to come back June 7th for dining (dinner time) due to the great service provided by Tommy our server and Mint the restaurant manager . The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was very home friendly and welcoming. We definitely will visit once again next time we come back to Naples.

They ripped me off. I ordered a two-for-one special via Uber Eats. They ignored the special, sent me half the order, and because it was Uber, there was nobody for me to ask for help. They basically just stole my money. I wouldn’t have ordered from them at all, if they hadn’t advertised a special; the food was so-so at best. Zero stars.

The food was amazing, but the service needs improvement. We had some questions about our bill, but Kenny didn’t explain it well and cut us off while we were talking. He sounded rude, which was disappointing. Management should train their servers on how to handle customers better —simple things like speaking politely and smiling can make a big difference. Hopefully, the service improves because the food is definitely worth coming back for!

Tom yum does not live up to its name. Sour broth with raw champignons. The beer is not fresh. The dishes in which the "fresh" dishes are served are very old and dirty.

Wide variety of food on the menu, although parts of the menu were somewhat confusing. The food was excellent! Our party had sushi, pad Thai, and a Thai chicken and rice dish. Everybody really enjoyed their meals and the portions were large enough to be able to take some home. We'll add this restaurant to our go to places.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. This place was absolutely horrible. To begin with my terrible experience we arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and we waited nearly 30 minutes before being sat at our table. I would give the benefit of the doubt as the restaurant was busy but 30 minutes is unacceptable. My guest and myself realized the place was busy so we made sure to have our drinks, apps, and dinner picked out to ensure we’d be timely served but this was to no avail. We received our apps and drinks in a somewhat reasonable time but our dinner took over an hour to be received. You may be asking what our dinner was… it was 3 of the simplest sushi rolls you can make; spicy tuna, tuna avocado, and salmon avocado. The best part is I didn’t even receive the spicy tuna, it was just tuna. Overall this place was a huge let down and was not worth the price in the slightest! My advice stay clear of Sushi Thai downtown

We were fairly disappointed with our lunch at Sushi Thai Downtown. The service was terrible. After we were sat down, no one came to bring us water or take our orders for a good 20 minutes. When the food came, it was missing some items (for example, the sushi platter was supposed to have 9 pieces of sushi but had only 8). Our waiter was mostly nowhere to be found and never came over until we actively tried to get his attention. The food itself was at the quality of an average strip mall sushi joint, at best. Not what I expected from a restaurant on 5th Ave in Naples. Perhaps their other food is better, but their sushi is well below average.

The boyfriend got a shrimp tempura roll. 14.95. Greasy and cold. How the hell do you screw up tempura? It was clearly pre-made and so gross. I usually will eat it anyways but it was not fresh. Come on guys, you have no competition on that street, step it up.

Tempura was soggy and one of the two tempura shrimp was totally missing its head, buried in a pile of shredded carrots, whose only purpose must have been to give crunch to the soggy tempura. Cannot say enough about this great place! The menu is so big and has so many different things you can order. Everyone in the place was very friendly and the minute you were done with something someone would come buy and take it off your table. We had the small sushi boat, bowl of Udon and and bowl of Pho and they were all excellent. I would eat here all the time!

This place is THE BEST. Dau is an absolute delight. The fish and sushi were so fresh and yummy! We had the jalapeño yellowtail, tom yum soup, and a ginger salad to start—so delicious!!! This place gave me parasites!!!! It's the only time I had sushi and I get tested regularly.. sure enough right after we ate here my husband and I both got parasites! The reason why this happens, the place where they buy sushi cuts corners and doesnt freeze fish properly according to regulations and parasites survive.. the funny thing is that I didn't even eat raw fish!!! Which means everything is contaminated in that kitchen.. so suggest they start buying fish from a more reputable place!

I just felt compelled to share my not so great experience at this location. I was ordering to go and directed to the host stand. The girls were unwelcoming and somewhat rude. I sat at the sushi bar while waiting the smell was overwhelming. As I glanced around this restaurant it was very dark and rather dingy. I got in my car and had a considerable drive back home I literally had to open my windows the smell of the sushi was overwhelming in which I did not order any it was just from sitting there. The food I ordered was an extremely small portion for amount paid....Be cautious dining in this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I can’t really review the food because when I got to the restaurant after having placed my online order, I was informed that they were shut down. They were still accepting online orders though as I could tell from the iPad behind the counter. They cancelled my order, but there was no apology, no offer for a discount the next time I visited, etc. It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be trying them. I’ll try a Thai place that actually cares about their customers.

After i saw another review of someone saying they saw sushi sitting out for awhile i thought I’d leave a review. My family and I visited Naples and went to sushi Thai. I’ve gone here a few times prior and it was never an issue, but this past time we went my brother and I both got food poisoning. I NEVER get sick from food by the way, so I knew something was seriously wrong with how it was prepared or if it was sitting out. My brother was throwing up all over the hotel bathroom (sorry to give details) but it still grosses me out thinking about it. They were kind enough to refund us for the two meals (they should’ve refunded the whole meal) but safe to say I will not be back.

The reviews mention that the food is amazing. I found it to be good, but not amazing. Perhaps bc they do not specialize in just 1 food category? Idk, but the food was not amazing, in my opinion. It's just good. It is an enjoyable experience with nice service and great location.

I don’t know if the food is good or not, the service is terrible. You get a reservation on line and wait an hour and half to get in. Trust me, the wait is not worth it and the hostess never showed up for 20 minutes at a time. We left, the smell, the reservation system, and the wait were definitely not worth it. On too if that the Naples locals think they own the place and butted in line and the hostess allowed it.

What a mess. Came in with a 7:30 reservation to join a line of at least a dozen others who had been waiting for over 30 minutes for their 7pm reservations. It took us 10 minutes to even get the hostess’s attention as we stood in a mob of people. Food - “fresh” sushi, supposedly- was sitting ready in the heat the whole time we waited and never budged. I feel bad for whoever ended up eating that; hopefully they don’t get food poisoning. We walked out after 15 minutes and went to a restaurant down the road. We won’t be back

I am going to be completely honest. I think the food is very good. Especially the Thai food. The one thing that really bothers me is the service. I was there with my fiancée and we barely saw our waitress. She took our order and that’s it. The food took awhile to come out. Then they forgot about our Sushi order. I couldn’t find the waitress so I had to ask the host who are waitress was. The host seemed very annoyed and got an attitude with me. Nobody refilled our water. We needed extra napkins and extra spice and I waited almost 20 minutes to get any kind of service at our table. They are not very hospitable there. Nobody asks you how you are doing or if you need anything. The hostess seemed very agitated. This is an honest statement I’m about to say. If you look like a rich white family you get treated differently. I saw this happen. I can find better food and won’t be going back because of the service.

This was the worst sushi we’ve had in memory. The hamachi had bones in it and a large piece of skin on it. The salmon was tasteless. The rice for the nigiri pieces was way too big. The gyoza was bland. The waitress didn’t notice the bones, skin, rice balls, and uneaten three pieces left on the plate. She was nice enough, she just didn’t bother to ask how things were. We left very disappointed.

The staff was friendly, the service was nice, and the atmosphere was inviting. I opted for the lunch specials and was delighted with the fresh and delicious food. Definitely recommended!

In this eatery, Japanese and Thai flavors mingle without stealing the spotlight. While it won't win gold in culinary Olympics, it nails the fundamentals. A laid-back rendezvous where sushi meets pad Thai—a satisfying compromise for the indecisive palate.

Very polite, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Try the white Christmas cosmo. It is delightful and delicious. I really enjoyed everything I tried here. The Edam’s, krab Rangoon, steak teriyaki, and California roll were delicious. Our family loves this place and we really enjoy it every single time.

Great food, little pricey, but definitely worth the cost. Coming here again for their lunch specials.

We've always had excellent experiences at Sushi Thai. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is both beautifully presented AND delicious! If you enjoy sushi, it is fresh, at perfect temperature, and very flavorful. The menu is expansive and food options are plenty.
