This Japanese & Thai spot features a sushi bar, an outdoor patio & live music on weekends.
We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Thaikyo Asian cuisine tonight. We sat outside and it was actually quite pleasant. We ordered a bottle of the Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, and I had the lychee martini. Delicious. We ordered fried calamari and crab Rangoon for appetizers - the dipping sauces are flavorful and delicious. The server was extremely attended, but not pesky. The orders for the table were the Orlando roll, the sampler platter, I ordered the wonton soup, which was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Don’t be fooled by the clear broth because it’s so flavorful. I also ordered the green papaya salad which came with two delicious tempura shrimp. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic Asian cuisine. The inside looked absolutely cozy, but we were with someone in a wheelchair so we sat outside. You can go inside with a wheelchair, but she doesn’t like the noise.FYI. And it really wasn’t noisy but… Worth your while to dine here.
Just left. We had a wonderful time, food was delicious, and they could make mine gluten free. The service is awesome we sat at the bar. We loved the host and bartender. We ordered Singapore noodles no gluten and pork and beans no gluten it was wonderful. Also had edamamme it was great. Good selection of wines and the drinks are delicious. Will definitely be back. Would totally recommend this place.
We had a delicious dinner! The ginger dressing is out of this world and we purchased some dressing to take home. We ordered pad Thai chicken and shrimp and it was awesome. Thank you to our server Jennifer. She was attentive and very kind. We can’t wait to return.
Ordered online and picked up. Friendly while I was there. Bag was stapled so did not open before leaving. Got home and they gave me wrong order. Called on phone and lady told me it was the right order...if it is the right order it is not how it was described on menu and absolutely not what we wanted. What we were given was too sweet and we wanted spicy/savory.
Lady on phone hung up on me when I called to inquire, nicely, saying they must have had order mixed up with someone else. First time there and will not go back. Ordered same dish in Thai restaurants all over world and never had what we were served...and then to tell me I was wrong without seeing what I was sent home with was terrible service.
Save your money and go elsewhere.
My friends introduced me to Thaikyo and it was a great experience. The staff is outstanding and I met Jo who is the owner and she was a very gracious host and very down to earth.
We ordered crispy calamari rings, Lobster bites, coconut shrimp, spicy crunchy tuna roll, lo mein noodle and steamed whole snapper. Everything was delicious!
We had a big party celebrate a birthday dinner at Thaikyo last night. Some of our party were regulars and made a reservation. There's live music and a pretty bar as soon as you enter. We were greeted by Anthony, who I later learned was the owner. Our server, Stacia, was very nice and attentive. We ordered grilled calamari, spicy conch, and sate for appetizers. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. We ordered a variety of main courses and opted to share so we could taste things from both the Thai menu and the Japanese menu. We had green curry, duck pad thai, salmon skin roll, Mongolian beef, and fried rice. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service by Jen. Amazing job!!! , super nice, paying attention to all details.
The atmosphere is terrific, we were wonderfully shocked when entered and beside the door a pianist was playing live music.
She played masterfully great music that gave us a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the stunning food.
This restaurant is real hidden gems in Florida.
Beautiful, calm, with great food and service.
What more you can ask to have a beautiful dinning experience ???
We we return everytime tha we visit West Palm Beach area. I hope very soon.
Outstounding
I have been this so called restaurant on two occasions. The first time they served our food with hair on the plate. The second time, after waiting an hour, they served our appetizers to another table and when we inquired, the manager was extremely rude. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The owner eventually came to our table and “so sorry”. I said, “ so long”.

Loved it.great food
Wow wow wow, I'm still thinking, dreaming about their sushi! Our new go to for sushi :)
Tom Yum had a lot of flavor and perfect heat. The wahoo tataki was delicious. Siam duck was flavorful, great portions and duck was prepared just right. Staff was amazing and ambience is on point.
The bartenders were amazing. Gloria was so accommodating. Wine selection was 👍🏻
I will never eat here again. It was the worst thai ever- frozen vegetables with no flavor, curry that was so light it could have been poured from a milk jug. Nothing was made of paste or spiced flavor. I waited 15 minutes for water and another 15 to give my order.
Great price and portions. We've been here twice with our 2 year old and they brought her Xmas themed items as toys (little trinkets).
Spicy Krab salad always good!
Tried the Hawiian fried rice tonight and it was delish!
The food was nice and server was nice, but the hostess and front manager was watching me and my friend like they wanted us to leave after we finished eating, we were just sitting and talking it wasn’t even 10 minutes. it was weird. They need to work on that
1st time diners. Wonderful experience! Thanks for the EXCELLENT SERVICE and perfect recommendation, Mikey! That whole snapper with black bean sauce was right on time!
We'll be back!

.y wife liked the sushi.
AND that says alot
Super good food!!! Really.
The table we got was in the line of fire with wait staff running around going to the outside patrons. It was a busy Saturday night and they seemed under-staffed and hurried.
Waited quite a while for water. Did not get our salads…and we forgot to ask for them - only realized that after we had left. Our food came out before we finished the appetizer. The wonton soup was just ok.
The Singapore noodles were not spicy at all. Should have been because there is a 🌶️ next to this item on the menu. Be sure to ask for spicy! The sushi was really good, but we had to ask for soy sauce and dipping bowls and waited a while for that. Asked for extra ginger, but it came after we finished the sushi appetizer.
Our waiter Mike was new (his second day). He was pleasant and personable.
7:15pm pickup as I needed to be on time for 7:30 to babysit. I waited until 7:40 and finally got my sushi. Staff was rude and ignored me. Won’t go back.
Love this place. The Mongolian beef and lychee martinis are the best. Cute bar. Sometimes they have a singer there.
Awesome restaurant in all aspects best waitress
This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant, although I live in the neighborhood. The cashier was impolite and the food tasteless. It actually tastes pretty bad. Most likely I will not be coming back.

Wow! Great dinner with my guy! Jennifer was amazing! Great attention, drinks and music! Definitely i would coming back!
Food is as fresh as it gets, drinks are tasty and served with the most professionalism and friendliness. Highly recommend the lychee Martini's and the pepperita
Great Thai Tiger Tears salad and perfectly fried tempura vegetables.”Tom” the waitress was absolutely wonderful!
A really nice place to have a peaceful meal.
We've eaten here a couple of times recently and each time everything was superb.
Service is slow. Most servers have limited English. Sushi dishes are very good. The whole sea bass fried is delicious. Nice wine list, martinis, and sake.
Went here for. The first time. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. I enjoyed every bite. Best Asian food in this area. Highly recommended
Second time here and asked about ordering some shrimp tempura that was not on the menu. Order came out with 2 shrimp and the rest vegetables. Never told this when ordered but charged full price. Asked to speak with the manager who was very rude and certainly not accommodating to the customer. Will not be back. Next time will order from G's Hibachi food truck 5 shrimp(much bigger) for 5 dollars. Much better!
Been meaning to try this place for a while & really hate leaving negative reviews, but in all candor there's just so many better Asian restaurants down here than what I tasted or lack of tasted, this past Sunday night. I did eat everything ordered because I was starving having just got off a very delayed flight. The apps were the best part, pork dumplings were good, not phenomenal, the crispy spring rolls same. The two entrées (Drunken noodle & Pad Thai) were truly tasteless. Even my 84 year old mom, who is sensitive to spice, commented that her Pad Thai had zero taste. No slightly bitter tamarind, no lime, no peanut taste, no sweetness, literally bland as bland could be. My Drunken noodles were worse with bare noodles on bottom of plate as evidence of them pouring the stir fried vegetables & saw, directly on top of noodles and not stir frying noodles, no wok char on noodles...seriously.
Also, no Singha beer??
So so many better alternatives
We absolutely love Thaikyo, one of our favorite date spots. Food is amazing, one place I always feel comfortable trying new menu items and knowing I’ll like them. Atmosphere is great, service is always on point and food comes out quick. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
This was our first time here and the food was really good!! We ordered a fried lobster appetizer (ok), shrimp pad thai (yummy), and a filet and veggies (delish).....
The service was exceptional!! We will definitely be back!! I will try sushi next time!!
We were down visiting my brother on vacation and he took us here for dinner. One night, Chris was our waiter and he was fun. And the food was fabulous, if you were looking for a cool place to have dinner, make sure you stop here.
Service is absolutely the worst. Waited 30 minutes and nobody came to our table to take an order. After 2 hours we hadn’t received our main course and left without eating. I told them they would never see us again.
The mgr who is the owners daughter is the nastiest person and shouldn’t be talking to customers. She said I don’t care if you never come back . We have plenty of customers.
Going to Wattatana on Dixie next time. They appreciate our business
Always good.
Incredible food and service. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Delicious!
As always, everything tasted fresh and delicious!
Love this place. Order and go here regularly. Food is diverse and solid. The staff is also incredible and go above and beyond to make your experience! Highly recommend!
One of the best sushi places me and my wife go to despite the occasion. Dear friend of ours took us there a year or so ago and ever since we've been going there. Love it. The thaikyo roll is out of this world and the duck pad thai is really good. Highly recommended.
I love this place. Great food and service were high standards. It is more expensive than other Asian places in FL, but it is great service. Large choices of drinks. I love this place.
Good food. Excellent Service
Outstanding! Food and service. I recommend them.
The Best highly recommend
Food is always amazing, one of the best sushi that I ever tried. Today our server was Tom and she was super kind and professional. Since we discovered this place two years ago we are always coming back, even celebrating our anniversary.
My favorite sushi place.
Seafood in black bean sauce with vegetables is awesome!
Love the Leechee
Martinis!
Try to sit at the bar, the bartender, Gloria is fast and funny....amazing service, food and company!!!

Good food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere
We just have a dinner there yesterday. Unfortunately, we have forgot our small umbrella at my table. Today I have called to ask if they can see it. What I have is unfriendly and ignorant responses. I felt that I was unlucky to be there yesterday. And I want to warn you of you just pass by that area. Don’t be there as all food is only average. And if you’re not lucky ,you may find out about their worst hospitality. Now I make up my mind that I will not get any chance to have my umbrella back. As I will not call to this restaurant again. Woman staff whose answer the phone had look down and said that she can’t help with ignorance sound.
Food. Delicious. But nothing compared to the absolute impeccable service provided by our all star server Samantha. She was extremely attentive and always had a smile on her face. It made me and my friends feel at home. We will be recommending this to our friends and family. Thank you!
Live piano
Freshest sushi
GREAT FOOD! but terrible service.
Consistently good experience.
The only thing they can do better is to add pictures to their menu. It gives perspective as to what foreign food your are going to eat. This helps to make a better informed decision and it doesn't become a surprise. 🫢 Pictures actually increase the spirit for that particular plate. It would also help their wonderful tasting restaurant to be included in a good delivery service. The service from the staff was spectacular. Thank you again.
My only concern was, why are dogs allowed in a restaurant. There's a place for pets ,and dinining out in a restaurant or any place where food is involved is not one of those places.
The food was delicious 😋
We ordered take out. Best Asian food I've had out since I've lived around here for 2 years. Fresh, extra spicy is you care for that kinda food. But not in a bad way. Very cordial accommodating staff. I will continue to recommend this establishment. Yum yum!! 😋, not the soup but the soup was good!
Very friendly and quick service, fine and tasty meals, but be aware, that 'hot" on the menu means really hot ;-}
Get the Mongolian Beef and the sushi rolls I ordered were very yummy!
Atmosphere and service was good but food was just ok
Excellent, varied menu.
Excellent as always! Amazing drinks at the bar! Best service and food
We have been going to this restaurant for about 2 years and every single time the food is amazing. They have the best fresh sushi, incredible Pad Thai, and literally everything we have ever ordered is so flavorful. Also, the service is great and the restaurant is very clean.
Overpriced Asian which is average at best.
In October of last year I came here with my boyfriend and this place did not disappoint. Seating outside was nice and indoors was very mellow and dim which I loved. We got seated right away inside and we had great service. I had since curry chicken and my boyfriend had the duck pad Thai. That was pretty interesting we must admit. The duck was hot fresh and fried and the hoisin sauce really boosted the taste. My curry was great and our appetizer was some sashimi mix and that was really good. We would definitely be back here.
Amazing crispy red snapper.
"Worst Thai food I've ever had" said my brother. For the price it was silly bad, added my daughter. We were up for good Thai, and OMG, how sad this was. Pad Thai was mealy and the shrimp in it was unremarkable. My brother had the chicken and broccoli; he ate less than half and told the server it was terrible "worst Thai food I've ever had." And they did nothing but smile. No courtesy anything. My son who has an Asian wife and family in NYC often warned me against eating in restaurants that try to be half of one and half of another. I neglected that advice and tried this place which is half Japanese and half Thai and, sadly, doesn't do either very well. If you're going to eat here, have the sushi only. My daughter said that was passable.
This is my favorite sushi place ever! I stop by every time I'm in Florida.
Delicious. A bit pricey but worth it. The staff work really really hard to make everybody happy!
Cute restaurant. Hostess was not very friendly... The server was nice but hard to get...
I love Thai food, so this was not very good... Drunken Noodle was super salty, and why is it so dark... The peanut sauce on the salad was not good, neither of us liked it...
Coconut Shrimp was ok, but I didn't like the sauce, but hubby loved it, so that's all that matters since it was his meal.
I should have known better when we didn't see a single Asian person, but we were hungry...
Excellant restaurant, friendly service, delicious food, great portions
The bad: May have caught the staff on a bad night, but there were not nearly enough servers for the amount of guests. Waited about 20 min just to get water and had to wave down different servers when we ran out of water, needed soy sauce etc.. additionally, I wouldn’t recommended the spring rolls or Singapore noodles, which were both really lacking in flavor. Was disappointed by this for sure.
The good: we got the Orlando sushi roll and enjoyed that. Large pieces and good flavor. Also the atmosphere was nice.
For the price point, I probably won’t come back. If I did, I would stick to the sushi. Solid 3 stars.
Fantastic 😊😊
Love the place
I love this restaurant and am a repeat customer. The food is very good with very good service
Very accommodative.
Very nice decor. Indoor and outdoor seating. Efficient staff. A bit more pricey than comparable restaurants. The Chicken Pad Thai portion was very generous, but not as flavorful and saucy as I have had at other establishments. On my next visit I would order sushi or sashimi.
The house fried rice take out was just mediocre…3 shrimp , strips of chicken and pork. Horrible!!!!!!
The food was very good and customer service was excellent
Food absolutely tasteless.
Excellent food. Priced good for what you get. Outdoor and indoor tables. Good service
We came here for the first time and love it. The Staff is awesome and the food was amazing.
Thaikyo has become our “go to” Asian restaurant when visiting the Lantana, South Palm Beach, Hypoluxo area. The portions are generous, food always fresh and hot, soups are delicious, and their sushi fresh and tasty. The indoor dining environment is great, and in the winter we enjoy eating outside. Service is also excellent. Looking forward to many more visits.
Went for a birthday dinner, no reservations. Impeccable service, great drink selections (mojito special), tasty sushi and entrees with generous portions, Love this place!
HORRIBLE! First of all the prices are outragious.Secound of all are food was ROTTEN and there was a USED looking limes it our food thay were brown And on top of all of this the staff were very rude. Never come here
The food is amazing and the drinks are made to perfection. I love their Thaikyo old fashioned.
We stopped in for lunch while staying at a nearby hotel. The staff was very polite and courteous. We were able to sit immediately. We did visit "after lunch" and in the areas "off season". Our appetizer and rolls were all very delicious, and the waitress was attentive to us. It was a good experience and would go again if we ever get back to the area.
Took several different dishes - all perfect! Thank you
First time at this restaurant today. They open at 3 PM on Sundays, which was right before we arrived, so we didn't have a wait to be seated. We were warmly greeted. Decor is simple but inviting. They have inside and outside dining. Husband and I are thinking of going back for a date night to enjoy the patio. Serving staff was extremely nice. Drink orders were taken and brought very quickly. Typical menu items for a Thai/sushi restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Not a long wait to receive our food. It was brought out hot and seasoned perfectly. For an appetizer we had the Lobster Bomb. Really yummy. For entrees, Husband had fried snapper with red curry. I had the Kiss Me chicken with vegetables. My daughter had Singapore noodles with yellow curry. Everything was so good, even the spicy dishes. I'm going to try the Pad Thai when we go back.
Attractive restaurant with very good food
All is right , price food and service
Very disappointed with the service and the food, takes a long time for the the waitresses to take the order and much longer to bring it to you....... that is another challenge. I really don't know what happened. This restaurant was one of my favorite ones. I always when friends were coming from out of the country, I used to take them there. But this has changed so bad that I will not go back again. My order was a take out, I asked for Hawaiian fried rice and came out with no pineapple, the rice was sticky with just a few pieces of chicken and 3 shrimp. The other entree was steem fish with mushrooms, that one was even worse, they put 4 small tiny pieces of fish with maybe no more than 5 mushrooms,...... then what to do, I was already at home tired and didn't want to go back there. In a nutshell manager/owner is not paying attention to the business, it is not what was a couple of months ago. I was wondering how come a nice, clean and successful restaurant is going down that way.
Great food, great environment. Whenever we work in town we come here. Definitely worth a visit. Thai chicken dumplings are great.
Had my birthday dinner here. Food was average or better. Service was overloaded but suffent.
Best Asian food in town.
Still the best.
I never write reviews but felt so compelled too because of the outstanding service we receive consistently when dining here, along with the sushi!! I would eat here every single night of the week if that were possible! Wahoo tataki ALL DAY & make sure to say hi to John at the sushi bar!! Thanks thaikyo 👍🏻
Love this place...great food and cocktails. But you have to be patient with the service as it can be a little slow during busy times.
We have been loyal customers since 2011. The nicely prepared food, and generous portions made Thaikyo my daughter's favorite restaurant for every celebration. We brought many friends over the years and spent a great deal of money, despite fixed income on our "night" out. The owner used to give us an after dinner liqueur in recognition of our patronage. Last night we found a dramatic departure from everything we knew and loved. My daughter got a gift card for Christmas that she saved to spend last night whe 3 of us came to dine. Despite asking for either of two servers known to us we got the one who got got one order so wrong that he replaced a sushi rider with a hot noodle plate. Out of an abundance of kindness our guest ate it rather than force it to be thrown out, but not even his meal was taken off the menu. The sushi sections we are used to were half the size. They charged for a side salad brought instead of a soup that was supposed to come with the meal, and the specialty soup ordered was tiny and arrived lukewarm. 200 dollars spent on a meal that should have been complimentary. So upsetting. My poor daughter treated us and her gift was squandered. I hope Thaikyo pays attention to the fact that repeat customers are their salvation during difficult times. Shame on them if they lose sight of this.
The best whole fried fish that you can get anywhere and their sushi is awesome!
Wait staff splattered juice all over my guest as they took plates away. Calamari super stringi and the rolls were less than, it was great back then.. will not be back. So sad, because they were great back then 😢
Absolutely terrible experience all around. We waited 3 hours (yes, 3 hours) for our food, they never brought one dish, and one of the fish salads smelled as if the fish was rotten. Rest of the food is ok but the service is the worst you will ever encounter. Do yourself a favor and avoid entirely.
Yummy
Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. When asked, one waiter refused(!) to speak to the manager after our waiter simply disappeared. Waited one hour for our food and never saw the waiter again. Good food but not worth it. Other tables simply walked out. Awful management.
Nice atmosphere, good for a chill meal and catch up
Thaikyo has delicious food. One can have an old standard or try one of their more modern original dishes. The dining room is comfortable and pleasant and the wait staff is great.
Ugg, I dislike leaving a bad review but the food kind of ruined my night. I am Asian, my mother being born in Japan. I must complain about the side salad, soaking wet with water and wilted. I liked my Thai curry, but I am not picky. My father who has been to Japan, got Tempura. It did not have Panko breading but the cheapest breading you can buy. If you have ever eaten at Golden Corral, you know what i mean. It was expensive, and I don't like when family do not like their food and won't say anything. I get a bit upset.
Food was ok however I felt Since I wasn't dressed in a dress shirt the manager gave me a dirty look. I felt very not welcome manager seems to only take care of the rich Caucasian only. Considering my waiter was very nice I just felt like I was getting stared at like I was going to run out on my check for being black.
Terrible salad had a bug such small portions for such expensive prices and did not even enjoy. Could have went to a cheaper place and gotten way better food for not even half the price I paid here. But did not have time and was way closer never again will I eat here. Don't recommend!!!!
Really enjoyed my experience. Food was awesome, service was great.. ended our meal with a chocolate martini.
I order a lot there and I really love the service. The food is amazing. Every single time is great.
Excellent service and food
Best sushi in towm
Absolutely a wonderful experience, as always. Food is amazing and the service is exceptional. They never disappoint.
Very good gyoza, salmon rolls, massaman curry and ginger chicken. Service was spot on as.someone seemed to stop by exactly when needed.
Me and my man love coming here! The orlando roll is my favorite and I HAVE to get tuna chips every single time! Their house made hot saki is also the bomb!! I could honestly list 35 more things we love but you should just go find out for yourself!🍣🧡
Excellent food. Large portions. Reasonable prices. This all made for a very nice evening.
Amazing sushi!
The owners and staff are great. Joe and Tony know how to run a restaurant. They treat everyone like family. The food is good and the place clean.
Good food and service.
