A very unique and fun designed Asian resturant. The atmosphere is laid back and would be a great place to meet with friends and family for drinks and food.

The food itself was actually really good. There is also a wide variety of choices such as sushi, ramen, noodle dishes, poke bowels, and many more.

Service was extremely good and never felt forgotten.

The only minor feedback is I would say price for portions mighty be slightly skewed but the quality is there to back it up.

Overall, a great place to eat.

Came here with 2 friends on a whim. I love Asian fusion, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The food came out fast, but tasted fresh. We got the crispy tuna that was amazing (if you haven’t gotten this before somewhere, it’s a must). I can’t tell you the name of your pork belly dish I got, it was in the entree section on the top right, spicy and delicious. My gf got the poke bowl with Tuna that was delightful. The only thing that wasn’t good was the shrimp shumai. Would happily come back here

Asian food has never really been on my radar; however, this Asian Fusion restaurant has me thinking differently.
I had an awesome lunch at Kubo. The menu is extensive and perhaps a bit overwhelming if you’re not familiar with the dishes.For starters I got the vegetable springs rolls which were hot and crispy, then the ginger sauce entree with tofu, which was full of flavor.
This is a fairly large restaurant with a full bar too. I saw some interesting looking drinks on the menu and since they’re open late (until midnight) I will be coming back for that experience. Overall, I left with a great first
impression.

It was my first (and my girlfriends) time here. Everything was Deeeelicious! We were very pleasantly surprised with the soups and the appetizers were awesome as well. We came to celebrate my future nuptials with a little "girl" talk. The environment was perfect. We stayed until closing :)

Did takeout, had the pork with rice. All of the food was good, this second time here I had to make sure I wasn't dreaming. First time with Tai foods. Loved it.

Friendly service sat right down at 10:30 for dinner and the server was busy but still made it over quickly. Nice full bar and sushi. I started with a seaweed salad, very fresh and tasty withstand carrots and cucumber Then the homage pork dumplings came nicely steamed with flavor and light crunch. Then came the Tam Kah soup with shrimp. they were kind enough to remove the tails. the soup was so full of flavor it was terrific! Followed by the Salmon lover spicy roll. the music was top 40 in the background and not loud at all. just perfect background music. Sweet chilli wings came as my meal this was a perfect meal to complete a full day.

Food here is excellent but service is slow, they are understaffed and the people work furiously but it's not enough people. Ambiance is decent, it's in a strip mall so they do the best that they can with the interior. The ramen is bespoke and absolutely delicious, the sushi is fresh and the menu is expansive. In fort Lauderdale I think it's one of the best Asian restaurants. Go visit!

Top of the line sushi only 2.3 miles from the airport. So much variety and I wanted to eat everyone's thai dish, even though my sushi was five star. The atmosphere is sophisticated. The bartender was making extrodinary cocktails.

I try to come here whenever I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area. Good variety and excellent food that never disappoints.

Everything I ordered was very good. Granted, this is Fort Lauderdale and most options are a little more expensive than you’d typically encounter but the quality didn’t disappoint. I had the chicken phad Thai and gyoza and my friends had a soup and roll for their lunch and said their dishes were good as well.

What stood out the most was that the hostess was extremely cold, unfriendly and quite condescending. Then the ramen was mediocre (a little lower quality than ramen you’d get at the mall) and the meat tasted warmed up from the previous day. I personally would never order here again.

I love coming here to eat and ordering for takeout. The food & service Is always great. Definitely a must try, they never miss!

Our party of 5 had a great meal and could select from dozens of options from sashimi, curries, ramen and oysters. All were delicious with large portions. The atmosphere was fun with Anime as the backdrop. Super good food, good service.
It was a little noise for conversation but I would go back again in a heartbeat!

One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, been coming before they expanded. Kubo has great food, unique and service is always perfect. If you are south of the tunnel or on 17th street this is a must try... you will be hooked!

I have visited this restaurant three times and have not been disappointed on any occasion. The culinary offerings and ambiance are both exceptional.

We had the crab Rangoon, bao buns, KUBO ramen and beef plate. The KUBO ramen was outstanding. So flavorful. Service and food was outstanding. We will be back again. Definitely try this place out.

If you go on uber eats, there's so many BOGO deals. Yet, I will always pick Kubo. It's my 6th? time ordering here, and I have been here one time in person. All times have been amazing, I've tried Ube Taro Mousse, Jasmine Fruit Green Tea ( a favorite!), Kuba Lava and a few flavors of their croffles! (The cream they put on top is so light and fluffy and tasty!!) I recommend it all, my favorite dish is their wings. The ramen noodles are super good, and I love the broth. I have tried their sushi a few times, although none of the special rolls, the classics are nothing to complain about also. I always order them! I don't think you will be disappointed if you tried :)

The Filipino food I tried at Kubo was fantastic the lumpia i had for lunch yesterday was hot and crispy on the outside and the pork filling was nice and juicy on the inside and the sisig was spicy, crispy, meaty, garlicky and porky. For dinner the sinigang was sour meaty and delicious. The sizzling bulgogi beef was sweet and meaty with the kimchi and rice it had a nice balance.

The food was delicious and it was a vibe. 😎

Never a miss for the best shushi in this neighborhood. Angela is the sweetest and our favorite server been coming to her for the past couple of years. Although we moved way North whenever we are in the neighborhood we always eat sushi here with a great environment, and the best smile that Angela always projects to my wife and I. Definitely recommend Kubo Asian fusion & Bar as well as Angela.

My husband and I go to place. Everything is served hot, fresh with little to no wait. We had their veggie spring rolls, which were a nice size hot and crispy. Their boa buns were nice, light, and fluffy, we had the pork, which I do miss the sticky bbq pork version. However, the new version is not bad, just expecting sticky bbq when I hear pork belly. Their pork belly fried rice was phenomenal. You can taste the smokyness from the wok. Their ramen was so savory and big with plenty of toppings but only came with half an egg which wasn't marinaded like most other places. Their bobas are incredible.

We've stopped going to our go-to (17th St. Thai) after stumbling upon KUBO. The food is distinctively better, service always on top of things, and just a better overall vibe. Our favorite dish is the Drunken noodle, the hand roll tuna is another of my husbands favorite, and the shrimp or soft shell crab bao buns are a must!

Wanted to try this place out as I was in Thailand just two weeks ago on vacation. I wanted to see how authentic they were. They are Asian fusion. Thai, PI, Japanese etc and very good. Place was clean, staff was friendly and very attentive. I'll be back again.

Though this place serves Filipino food and sushi, I think go here for their Thai food. They make the best pad kra pao for in the Fort Lauderdale area. It’s one of the places where you can order this dish with ground beef. The dish is spicy. My other favorite that they serve is Khao Soi. Lasty they do serve a mean Chinese BBQ pork fried rice. For dessert you have to try their croffles! It is so delicious!

Very clean and cozy restaurant. There is cool Japanese cartoon art all over the walls and lots of greenery. All sorts of customers eat here as well; there’s vegan options and lots of families/kids eat here. A diverse environment can be nice.

We were on vacation in Fort Lauderdale and wanted a break from all the steaks and pastas; this restaurant offers a wide variety of Asian food, from Japanese to Thai. We’ve been back to this restaurant many times and each time the waiters and waitresses are knowledgeable, patient, and very nice.

Caution: if you found this restaurant appealing because of the Warrior Lobster Roll (sushi) on yelp or google images, then just know that it isn’t as good as it looks. The lobster is cut into pieces (like a steak) and is fried in the batter, but it is HEAVILY battered—it’s more batter than lobster honestly, even though there is a lot of lobster meat under the layers of batter. It’s not for everyone. The menu does not list lobster as a protein option for Pad Thai and other dishes in the same section, but if you request it from the waiter then the dish’s protein could be lobster, which happens to be the same batter-heavy lobster as the one served with the Warrior Lobster Roll.

Otherwise, everything is delivered within ~15 minutes and the food is hot and delicious when it is served.

Highly recommend for a worthwhile lunch or dinner!

Update below: We used to be 5 stars...We have been ordering from Kubo well before their expansion and into the pandemic. Always excellent..except in 2022 it was off. But now it's better than before. One day we will have try it on site with the new expansion.

2024: The sushi went bland again and off. The chicken dish was dry and tasteless too. Please bring back the OG chef or whatever made you great.

The halo-halo is good and overflowing (literally), the adobo in a bun is surprisingly good as well but the ramen is only okayish. I went here with my kids and they enjoyed the decoration with all the anime posters everywhere. The service is a bit slow as I think we went during the peak hour and the food are decently priced. I’d be back again for the halo-halo for sure.

Kubo is a wonderful place. Good vibe, good service, anime on the wall. Didn't understand why they didn't put on Dolphins Monday night football, but im nit picking haha. The food is great here. I typically get the Kao Soi Ramen every time, photo below, but all the Ramen is good. The Red Sea Ramen is great as well. The Crab Rangoons and Lumpia were delightful, picture below. Not too much breading and plenty of cream in the Rangoons. It comes with 5. The sauce they came with was delicious too. Also pictured below is the salmon. This was very good, but probably wont fill ya up if you need a lot of food to be satisfied. The pad thai, below, was solid. I definitely enjoyed that. A really good sushi selection as well. I definitely recommend Kubo.

The good was delicious 😋 .. it's Asian food, it has a little everything. I had sushi and pancit, with lumpias. Everything was so good. I wish I could have kept eating. 😪 but I was too stuffed. The drinks were pretty strong too. They don't skimp on the alcohol. It was a nice, cozy place. We went on a Sunday late afternoon. It was pretty busy , but we still were sat right away and food came out pretty quickly. Waitress was very promp and nice. The busy boy was all smiles just like the waitress. The price was great to me. We paid 235 including tip and we were stuffed. The table had 3 main entrees 2 sushi rolls, 2 mixed drinks and 2 beers and 3 appetizers. It looks like they have a large bar area, so I think they might open late nights as a full on bar. I don't know, but I'd go if they did. Fully recommend 👌 👏🏼 👍🏽.

Very flavorful fairly big portion of tasty panang curry chicken i had. also comes with miso soup or small saladhad brown rice as a base. paid 13,95 for this lunch special. will be back again for sure!

Hubs and I went out with another couple for lunch. They suggested KUBO because they have eaten there many times and love it. It's a pretty big restaurant with tables, booths and a bar. I had the spicy salmon poke bowl. It was very good, probably the best poke bowl I have had in Fort Lauderdale. The menu is huge with lots of choices like Ramen, pad Thai, sushi and more. I had a hard time deciding what to get. It all sounded yummy. All the more reason to go back. Staff was nice and attentive.

My sushi roll was good (basic volcano).... the snapper was way over fried. The rest of the entrees (Raman and glass noodles were pretty good). I'd go back and try it again.

This place is a hidden gem

I order a soup and a basic roll and my order took an hour and a half. When I called the woman on the phone had a nasty attitude with me then claimed they were so busy. I’ve worked in restaurants, there’s no reason for a soup a basic menu item to take that long.

I’ll start with the good - I thought the service and restaurant itself was solid no complaints at all. When it came to the food we ordered some dumplings to start and then sushi & Drunken Noodles for our mains. The dumplings were not anything to brag about but acceptable. As far as the Angry Bird Roll and Drunken Noodles - gross. The Drunken Noodles were served with a sauce that reminded me of a tomato sauce it was just not good. Worst of all I had a stomach ache after dinner. I’d pass on them in the future.
