Look no further, this place is the best! The sushi rolls are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing! They really care about the presentation and the food they serve. You will not be disappointed. My wife and I eat there all the time the service is great, the food is top-notch. We have found our new "go to" sushi place!

I am so happy Furin is back in business again. For those who don’t know, this place was on Atlantic Ave and Military trail for years, even since I was a kid growing up in Delray. Some incident happened where it closed down last year and I thought it was gone for good. Luckily they reopened again and in a more convenient location on Linton and Military Trail. Their food is delicious and their staff are always welcoming and kind. To the people who gave poor ratings, I feel like they had isolated incidents where the staff assumed someone else had taken care of the customer or someone had overcooked the rice a few minutes.The food is generally really good otherwise. This place has been my go-to restaurant whenever I’m in town from Tampa to visit my parents. The actual restaurant is clean and relaxing. I really recommend trying this place at least once. If you had a bad experience and haven’t come back since, I really wish you give them another chance.

This place is still my go to restaurant for sushi and Thai food, and I still stand by the quality. I have now relocated to Texas back in 2021 and I always come here every time I visit my mom in Delray Beach (2-3x a year) The service is always great whenever I drop by to eat in person/carry out and the staff are always professional & hospitable. The place is clean and the place has truly evolved over the years like a work of art. There are cool new murals, designs, etc. and it is really nice to eat there in person. I really appreciate the location more now because it’s not in downtown so you never have to deal with major traffic or pay for parking.

As for the food quality, I still love and enjoy the food they serve. I have not tried everything on their menu really because I am a creature of habit, and tend to pick the same few dishes, but I always love their seaweed salad, the grilled Japanese squid, sashimi salad (my personal favorite), and the company roll. Once in a while I’ll try an Americanized sushi roll. I usually prefer dishes with fresh fish/seafood and vegetables/rice, especially when it comes to sushi as opposed to deep fried or mayo based sauces, so I can’t really speak about their other rolls as I haven’t tried them really. I have ordered from here through carry out and the food quality has been great as well, mind you I am generally only 5 min away since my mother lives nearby. I feel like if you’re using a food delivery app, and the delivery is going to take 30 min+ to get to you, then the food obviously won’t be as great as if you’re eating there in person. This type of cuisine is best eaten fresh.

I never had any issues with any food accoutrements/atypical decorations on my food during the several times I’ve been there in the last 3 years. In regards to some of the other lower reviews, if you don’t know, sushi and sashimi are made of fish, so it will taste fishy…If you do not like the taste of fish or anything with fishiness, don’t order sushi/sashimi. It’s as if you hate the taste of potatoes but still order a baked potato anyways. Also, for those who don’t know, eel sauce is generally a sweet sauce with some savoriness to it. The spicy mayo is literally a combination of mayonnaise & sriracha sauce. If I do order a sushi roll that might pair well with any of those 2 sauces, I’ll treat it as a side dip, not douse the entire roll on it. Otherwise, soy sauce always good as a dipping sauce.

This is not an Omakase restaurant. This is not some fancy pants Asian restaurant in Boca Ratón or Miami. This place is a great place to get great quality sushi nearby that has been consistent in quality for me over the years and has great service. I’ve tried some of the Asian restaurants in downtown Delray and I don’t see any noticeable difference in quality of food either, all I see is higher prices since those restaurants are in a downtown location. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will still continue coming here whenever I am in town.

We have eaten at Furin for years, and tonight’s meal reminded us why we keep returning. From the warm welcome, to the fresh seafood, the beautiful presentation, to the friendly service, Furin is our favorite spot. Highly recommend!!

The service was very fast. I got my food in less than 5 mins. The server and staff were very courteous and pleasant. Chicken fried rice is a very healthy choice for those who do not eat raw fish.

Our family dines at Furin every time we are in town. We always get the curry puffs to start with an order of the You Rock roll. Then we try a different dish. Each dish is DELICIOUS! Rod and his team deliver the best sushi around at a reasonable price point

I love Rod and his staff , they always treated me like family, today he wasn't there and I came in at 2.30 pm for late lunch, by the time I got my first dish which was hichikama cheek it was 245 then my server told me I should order because the restaurant takes a break between 3 and 430 and chefs needed to clean stations , so I ordered a black seal roll and was happy , literally as soon as my roll got there this lady named JEN comes and tells me I have to leave , mind you I just spent 71$ on food and drink , she was condescending, murky and rude , please 🙏 fix this staff issue, I would hate to lose you as a food family member, ty Rod!!!

Furin has to be one of the most interesting Sushi / Thai restaurants I’ve ever visited. The menu is enormous. I’ve been working my way thru it for the past year and I keep finding new and more interesting food every time. Basil fried rice, Pad Thai, Duck, Beef, Chicken, Shrimp Curries. Dumplings, Shumai of every type. Ramen Bowls, everything tases different and delicious. There are a large variety sushi rolls and sashimi choices, and they are always busy making boats and food for takeout so everything is fresh! The service staff is friendly and always accommodating. Bright smiles! I can’t wait to see what they have the next time I go!

I have not been to Furin much but this is based on my last visit. I ordered 3 rolls and pork gyoza last night (California, rainbow and shrimp tempura rolls). The bill came to roughly $50. The pork gyoza was great, I wish I could say the rest of the meal followed suit. I read a few other reviews and have found the following to be a common issue with the food here. The fish to rice ratio is way off, lots and lots of rice with minimal fish. With regards to the shrimp tempura roll I got, 4 of the pieces had no shrimp at all, nothing but breading. The fish on the rainbow roll was also sliced very thin. The California roll was very bland. With all the other places around I don’t see myself going back here any time soon.

Everything was awesome, the furin combo was a great appetizer to share, the wanton soup was incredible. The pad thai, the pineapple fried rice and the teriyaki chicken were awesome. Be mindful the dishes look small in the menu but they are rather big.

We always have a great time at Furin. They have a huge menu of yummy things to try. Whether you are in a sushi or Thai mood they have it covered. You could go there 50 times and still have new things to try. Their sushi has always been fresh and their Thai meals are homemade and flavorful. The staff are friendly with the customers, and they have a great time with each other too, which I love to see.

Ordered stir fry vegetables with shrimp and the sauce was water with no flavor. Also ordered pad see eu and the chicken was almost inedible. I don't know what happened but Furin used to be good.

The food wasn’t great. Now praying we don’t get sick as we realized after we ate the food that they used an a plant for decoration that is toxic to humans and animals. Schefflera Is the plant they used as garnish and toxic.

This is my second time coming here in years. I just forgot about it. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly, the waiter even told me where to purchase the Thai tea. I ordered the Tom Kha soup this time and the first time both times were excellent. I absolutely love the Thai tea and I ordered the red curry with pork and asked them to add pineapple which was a small upcharge but you get a good amount for the value. I don't really like spicy food and this actually had two chili peppers next to it but it has a heat to it but not too spicy at all. Everything is absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend that you try it out. I love the atmosphere as well.

This is the kind of place I love. An actual eating establishment, owned by a real person who works there and loves being a restaurateur. We've eaten here a few times so far, and tried both some Thai dishes as well as the sushi, and both were fantastic.

The food is great, the service is wonderful and cheerful (imagine that), and the whole experience is sublimely simple in a family atmosphere. Go here if you want great food served well.

My second time here. Perfect lunch place to hang with a couple of friends. The sashimi is a really good portion, in general very good sushi I don't know about the Thai part, but everyone on the tables seemed to have a great table.

Love this place

The sushi was decent, however the chicken dishes used some "meat" that was nearly translucent, shiny and at the same time raw. By the time I got over the food poisoning, my partner shredded all the food down the disposal so I didn't take photos. In speaking with the owner, a refund (order was over $110) was not possible unless I drove to the restaurant (in a torrential downpour) and showed them the food. The quality of the food was way less than what you'd buy at Costco. The chicken appeared to be from a frozen bag of "chicken parts" and those parts were indistinguishable from any chicken part I've ever seen. Given this restaurant is in a strip mall next to Big Lots, I guess you get what you pay for. My only error was not turning around once I walked in - reminded me of a run down hole in the wall in North Miami.

Food is always on point here. We had the Deadpool roll, spider roll, Thai clay pot, and fried bananas for dessert. We also had two bottles of hot sake . Everything was excellent and the service was great. The staff here are always incredible.

Summary: Nursing Home thai food.
So I was given a gift card for this restaurant as a Christmas present that came highly recommended. After walking in and being confused by the decor, I could not figure out if this was truly a thai / Japanese restaurant with absolutely zero thai influences except for potentially two of the wait staff. I then ordered a nom-tom soup and Furian Pad Thai and was absolutely amazed at how bland both were. The proteins in both dishes shrimp and chicken were absolutely Bland no flavor. The noodles in the pad thai were extremely overcooked and overall too sweet and blend no real tie influences to my palate. I would summarize this place as nursing home Thai food. I would not recommend

As good as it gets for this cuisine! The atmosphere is modern and colorful. The service is knowledgeable and sweet. The menu is as large and diverse as a Jersey diner. The ingredients are fresh, the taste is on point, the presentation is artwork, and the portions are generous, creating a nice value all around. This local's go to place for this fare.

Busy night, guests were nicely dressed and enjoying the time. For that I give 5 stars. I had to leave the restaurant because it was taking too long and I had other things to do, but would like to come back another day. It was so slow… took 23 minutes to acknowledge and bring the water we requested as drinks. It was already 48 minutes when the server came to take the order. As he mentioned there was delays we decided to leave and come back at other time.

Furin has such a diverse menu and everyone in our group found something delicious to eat. Our server was friendly and very helpful.

Food was delicious, it just took very long to get to us. We waited 40 minutes for an appetizer. Besides this, the duck was delicious (although it should be medium or medium rare and not well done), the steak was also overcooked, and the desserts were amazing. The seaweed salad is delicious.

We ordered 4 rolls from here a few days ago because this place is very close to where we live and we didn’t feel like driving 25 mins to our number 1 sushi spot. At first, prices seemed pretty high up there. We got 4 rolls for pickup and ended up paying something like $85. Nice people but the sushi do not justify the very high prices. The rolls were good, but the chunks of fish inside were very small.
At our favorite spot in Boca, 4 rolls comes to about $55 and there’s twice as much fish in their rolls than Furin’s. So the food is good, and the people are nice but definitely not worth the price in my opinion!

My wife and I go to Furin quite often and never a disappointment. Servers are friendly and always accommodating and Sushi is Always Fresh and very tasty. We always recommend Furin to our friends or anyone who wants great Sushi.

Decided to try some different things than our normal Sashimi.

We had Shrimp and Veg Tempura Appetizer, tiger shrimp and vegetables lightly battered fried till golden color. Soft Shell Crab Appetizer, soft shell crab slightly batter fried till golden color and served with ponzu.
Combo Sunomono Raw. Shrimp, crab, octopus, conch, thinly sliced cucumber, sesame seed served with sunomono. Unfortunately they forgot the sunomono so it was dry. Kanisu Roll iImitation crab, avocado and masago in a thinly sliced cucumber wrap served with sunomono sauce.

All were very good except for the misstep.Very nice Thai and Japanese restaurant with a very friendly staff.

2nd time coming here. The first time was on a weekend at night, the sushi was fresh and great! Great selection of sushi, 3 pages long, we were very happy.

Today we came during the week, it was busy, one of the sushis was not fresh, there was a foul taste for the soft shelf crab. We couldn't figure out what it was until we broke it apart and tasted thing by thing and it was the crab. We told them about it and they said 10% off because we had eaten some already.

Kind of sad because we really liked their selection but it seems that when they are busy it's not the best food

2022 - Still Some of the best sashimi in Delray Beach (Palm Beach County). Traveled about 30 minutes just to enjoy Furin’s famous lunch special “bento box” and sashimi. Took some drunken noodles to go as well.

Great new find. Rolls looked and tasted fresh! A lot of flavor for two of your basic rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls). They’re 8 pieces per roll, which is a little less than the 10 pieces I’m used to at my number one spot. Though the flavor on these rolls were just right. Got it delivered, so I’m anxious to give the live restaurant a try! Overall I’m very happy to have ventured out to a new sushi spot and it did not disappoint. The more fancy rolls looked fantastic, but a little pricey for what I was looking for. I would give their lunch specials a try to see if it’s worth the price, but personally wouldn’t spring for $20+ per special roll until I knew it was the real deal.

Good food & service. We sat at sushi bar, but could not see them make rolls, I like to see that. Saki was expensive! $12 large and 2 of us had 4 total $48 just saki. The large size should be larger..

During is the best sushi in Delray. We used to go weekly when we lived around the corner from them until we moved to Boca. 100% with the drive even if we only go monthly now. The owner is a nice and talented family man. The staff is hard working. Service is in the quality of ingredients and the finished dishes... Don't expect white table cloth fine dining. This is better than that.

I walked in and my order was ready to go. They are prompt and nice. The food is the best in the area.

Delicious pad Thai! Sushi could have been better, they added some type of breadcrumbs to the sushi that didn’t make it appetizing. Service was ok. Bummer to see a bucket on the floor that was put there to catch water dripping from a roof leak.

Love coming to this place! Clean and fast made food and always trying something different because there are so many dishes to chose from. Thank you for another great meal!

Spicy sushi was amazing. Heat Roll, Bankok Roll, and Dare Devil Roll were especially good! The house spicy sauce is FIRE!!!!

This place the customer service is very good but the menu is a little deceiving it has a bunch of pictures but whatever you order from the menu the pictures don’t look like the food they bring out to you and then they try to tell you and convince you know no it is the same photo. I order a bananas Foster’s ice cream and it showed that it had bananas and vanilla and what they brought it , it was a chocolate and strawberry ice with bananas Foster but it was not like the one in the picture and they also did this with a sushi roll so basically the menu is misleading And they try to make it seem like it’s from the menu but it’s not . The sushi roll that we order had hot spicy mayo on it but in the menu in the ingredients it did not say it had spicy mayo and it look totally different from the photo of the menu. Like I said the service was OK but I will not be coming back because the food was not great.

Furin is excellent in so many ways. The staff is welcoming and happy to help with anything you need. The menu is large and has all the favorites...everything is delicious!! There are pages of different types of sushi and rolls, one more delicious than the next. The prices are great! I have paid much more for sushi that was well below furin standards. Top notch! Highly recommend!!

I got the lunch special of 2 rolls and soup or salad. I got both soup and salad. This is prob the best miso soup I've ever had.
I didn't order fancy rolls, I kept it simple. One hurricane roll and one spicy tuna roll. It was super fresh and very good, probably the best sushi I've ever had. I wish I lived local.

Look no further, this place is the best! The sushi rolls are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing! They really care about the presentation and the food they serve. You will not be disappointed. My wife and I eat there all the time the service is great, the food is top-notch. We have found our new "go to" sushi place!

Tried it for the first time yesterday with my family, sushi was good, cooked food was not. I ordered beef bang bang expecting it to be more substance since they are changing 18, but nope few tiny pieces of rolled beef, similar cost to the noodles I also ordered that were soggy and mushy. Way over priced for mediocre food.

This little place is amazing!! I frequently ate at their place on Military trail for years before the Covid virus... was disappointed when it appeared they had closed. But, while searching for a Sushi & Thai place in the neighborhood was thrilled to see they moved to Linton Blvd. in Delray. Their food is so fresh!! Great spot for an intimate delicious meal!!

Unfortunately really disappointed overall. The white tuna and tuna sashimi had the texture of fish that was thawed, then frozen and re-thawed once again. Almost a mush like consistency. The rolls lacked any flavor and even I asked for light rice, were literally mostly rice. In addition, the woman at check out was most unfriendly nor accommodating.

The quality and freshness of the fish was some of the best I’ve found in the area. Slightly pricey considering the location but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Highly recommend the Chirashi Deluxe and the Sexy Hamachi Roll.

Absolutely delicious. The sushi is amazing. My husband does not like sushi but will eat the sushi from here. The price is fair too and will not break your pocket. One plate of sushi will fill you up because it is that big of a plate. After finding this place, I have never went anywhere else to eat sushi. The staff is really nice and generous too.
