We have never had a bad experience at this place and it’s one of those places where everybody knows you after a couple visits! Highly recommend to everyone I speak to. Great option for Thai and Japanese food in the neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, even with a packed house. All of the portions are pretty big, and the food was great! The katsu was perfectly cooked, and the fish was fresh and tasty.

Was more like fried air, but maybe the actual dinner would be better. Everything else was great. 3 people finished all this food. We were stuffed. Pad Thai was amazing. Service was … Not. She was Hi & Bye and never stopped by to check. Makes it very easy to low tip (works both ways).
Atmosphere seems pleasant. I sat outside, solo.
Value was not there for me because I’m still hungry and had to keep pouring soy sauce on the meal to make it worth eating.
Chicken was also tough.
I’d say skip this. Find something else, like pizza, cause somewhere nearby there’s pizza, I can SMELL it!

It's very hard to please me when it comes to Thai food, and I usually don't trust places that are hybrids, but this place really surprised me. Came here for lunch and without exception every single one of our meals was phenomenally tasty, and fresh. The steamed tofu was steamed to Perfection, and all the sauces were fresh too. None of the vegetables were too hard or soggy and the service was wonderful as well we will definitely be coming back. If you want good Thai food, which can be extremely difficult to find, then you should come here.

Thai Sushi Express: where dreams of tobiko and quail eggs go to die. Ordered two, ate one—math checks out if you're disapponted. Stale tobiko? Didn't know that was possible, but here we are. The quail egg tried its best to save the day, but let's face it—it was doomed. Two stars: one for the effort, one for the quail egg’s valiant sacrifice.

Whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to plan my day around visiting this sushi spot. It's one of the best I've found in South Florida. Been here at least 5 times.

I have been ordering take-out and going to this restaurant for many years but WOW, what has happened to the prices??? Dinner for 3 , No Alcohol, 9 items,,,,, $126 bucks!!! I asked for a menu, they didn't have one, so I couldn't check the prices. This was expensive at the past $65 but now doubled??? I'll be finding another place!!!!

Their food is always delicious. I’ve probably been ordering from them since they came to The Cove and I don’t even remember how long ago that was but better than 20 years. I’m sure.

I don't review often, but I really enjoyed my time here. Everything I ate was delicious, it came quickly, and the service was excellent. Every staff member was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!

The best Thai in Broward county…! Possibly for sure, no doubt that the red curry will beat many we have tried with the best spicy and coconut flavors. The teriyaki steak medium was cooked to perfection and charred on the edges…yum

Food is very good. Rolls need to be tighter! They want it to look bigger but it’s a pain. They don’t stay together. Also the wonton soup is the best but it’s gotten to expensive. 4 wontons in a large bowl for 12.00! Ugh. That could stop me from going since it’s that craving that gets me there. Last night people were leaving because there were no seats. It’s small it they have all these 4 tops with two people at them. If they turned the tables sideways they could easily separate the tables in two and just slide together if needed. Not sure why no one is thinking about something so easy.

It’s been awhile since we have been there and wanted to try it again and it didn’t disappoint I was blown away by the quality and freshness and the portions.

Staff is rude - restaurant was completely open and we took our business elsewhere after the older female waitress yelled at our older children for sitting at an OPEN table. We have been patrons for 10+ years but this was the last time we will dine in or order from this restaurant. Treat your loyal customers better.

First time here. We got the deep fried JB sushi roll. Mm so good. Fried soft shell crab, tempura style. Yum. Salmon skin hand roll and salmon unagi and eel unagi and also cashew nut chicken from the Thai menu. All very good. No complaints.

The staff and food is always on point. We come here every other week and we never have any issues. I feel like if someone has a problem with their food they should mention it to the server, not just assume that they are psychic. This place never dissappoints. The Thai sushi roll is my favorite. Always amazing

I'm a customer for many years now. I used to love coming here and the sushi was great so was the service and the staff. We went to eat last week and the owner was there coming up to every table asking if anybody needed anything. First of all staff was always MIA, whole owners asked if we need anything but did nothing about our food coming in late, the seafood soup we got was warm not hot like we asked them to, sushi rolls broke into pieces because they were not rolled properly and didn't taste like it did before . Also our ice tea tasted so weird we didn't even touch it. The only reason I'm giving them a 3 star and not a 1 star is because I feel bad and I hope they can change things around because I will not go back anymore .
Parking is no problem so that's the only plus that hasn't changed about the place.

We go here at least once per month. I really like their Pad Thais but they have other dishes my wife orders and enjoys. We have not tried their sushi. There seems to always be available tables and a decent amount of carry out traffic. The only negative I have is their washroom which could use some attention.

This place was a week kept secret for a long time, but the cats out of the bag now (no pun intended). Nick and Mae are wonderful people that will make sure your experience there is wonderful. The food broke da mouth it was so delicious! See you there.

The Shrimp Pad Thai Noodle is beyond delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone else on the table also liked the Chicken Teriyaki. The staff is super kind and fast ok their feet and ensure you feel as comfortable as possible :)

I loved Thai-Sushi, Not any more staff has a nasty attitude. We have been going here for years- no customer loyalty-

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because my PadThai was on point! My husband’s meal wasn’t great (cashew chicken). THE WORST PART HOWEVER WAS THE WAY THE OWNER TREATED MY FAMILY. I was sotting with my young kids who were a little restless so we all started using the sugar packets to build towers (I know, maybe not the best choice) but instead of coming over and asking us to stop, she came over and literally started snatching all the packets from our hands, removed the sugar, and raised her voice stating that the sugar was not to play with. FIRST AND LAST TIME!

Owners were RUDE!! We told them we felt the Pad Thai was too sweet..they CAN NOT take criticism! She snatched the plate in front of us and told us if we don’t like it.. to get out!!! Beware if you have a complaint!! I thought she was gonna pull out a butcher knife! I’d also like to add, that we have gone in there several times before and never had a problem.. needless to say, they have lost loyal customers!

Not what it used to be. Food was awful. Not fresh.

I'm no sushi expert or a big fan of it, but I had sushi at some other place in Canada and this was not even close. Sub-par imo, it was very bland. I would ask the owners to be more creative with the presentation and the look of the dishes, store sushi looks more enticing, and that's not saying anything good about you. As I said, no sushi expert, but you gotta do something about the taste, so it's not as dry and bland, just making it look better on the dish would go a long way.

Be aware owner will respond and lie say whatever to make them sound in the right and his responses are not professional at all ‼️

The guy wearing blue shirt was very rude and nasty . I placed an order over the phone for a Uber order. I asked him to repeat order to me because I had to repeat myself several times and after repeating he hung up the phone . I walked in to pick up food and to pay immediately he greeted me aggressively “how can I help you!” I told him I was there to pay for an order and he replied that there was no order to pay for . I told him my name then he calmed down guess he was shocked . He placed receipt on counter and walked off . Very disrespectful!

Update: I called to let him know of the poor treatment and he became erratic and I told him about all the bad reviews 😂 and he replied we don’t need your service . Very arrogant I hope he goes out of business then he will learn a good lesson

I've been dining here for over 20 years and its always amazing! My go to is the chicken and broccoli with rice and the ginger salad. Ginger salad is amazing! I actually don't even live in Florida anymore but everytime I visit, I make sure to go to Thai-Sushi!!!!!

I had the mixed vegetables in a curry sauce and my wife had a stirfry noodle dish. The vegetables were plentiful and the mild curry was not spicy at all and very flavorful. Only reason not to get five stars is that my wife noodles dish was a bit light in terms of the quantity of noodles. Nice friendly people with outdoor seating. We go there very often. I really like the crispy duck curry too

Go for the Thai food, much better than the sushi. Red curry with chicken and it was excellent. I find the sushi to be on the bland side there as compared to other local sushi restaurants.

One of the best phat tai I have had and I have had many! Service was great! I didn’t have to ask to refill my water , the staff was always on it. Place was empty when I got there and practically every table was full by the time I left. Recommend this place!! ! ❤️🔥

I really enjoyed the food here. The atmosphere is nice. We had a fairly large party maybe a little too big for the place. Staff was really nice and responsive. Maybe just a little unorganized with the delivery of the food buthe food but very fast at picking up. We've came here several times. Every time it gets better and better.

I was browsing a good sushi restaurants in the area and relied on people review on google. That place looks often busy, but hugely mismanaged. By ordering soup, some sushi rolls and appetizers I discovered that prices in the menu are different by a $2 for some of the items ordered and billed for.
When I demanded from the waitress to have my price in the bill to be corrected, that was done in silent unapologetic way which lead me to believe for intentional misleading of stealing money from the customers. There is no integrity between the prices in menu and reflection of them in your bill. BUT DON'T BE SHY AWAY AND Demand Correctness AND Apology!. I DON'T KNOW WHO IS MORE Embarrassed: ME, DEMANDING my $2 +$2 BACK AS A OVERCHARGE FOR MY MEAL OR OWNERS' INTENT TO reprogram his CASH REGISTER TO STEAL MONEY FROM ME AND YOU. This is not about a few dollars that you have to overpay by over smart a...of the owner but a matter of principal of doing business in right way.If you find them trying stealing money from you- report to the BBB immediately. Shame on them !

Terrible service. Went there with a friend and ours kids (3, 4 and 6 yrs old.) My friend and I ordered the hot tea and the little ones decided they wanted to try the tea (I asked for an extra cup so I could cool of some of the tea so they could try and the server brought one cup out, then when I mentioned we needed another one for the other little kid she said she had to charge to give him a cup. I explained it was just so I could cool off a little for him to try and she said, again, she would have to charge for it.) Then I asked for a cup of water and she just stood there waiting for us to order...I told her that I was waiting for his water and she refused to serve the table. Then, I asked the manager for the chopsticks trainers and if the kids could pick the color. He said no, said they couldn't tell the color - even though if comes in a clear wrapper....we hated the service, the staff was terrible and not kid friendly at all. Never going back!!!!!

We enjoyed a Hard Rock Winner's celebration feast at Thai-Sushi Express after my friend hit it big at the casino. We started the appetizers at an outside table - miso soup, seaweed salad and a spicy tuna roll - all tasty - before we moved inside when it started to rain. The sashimi platter for two, a specialty roll with more tuna, salmon and white fish along with the rest and sour chicken were our entrees inside. A delightful treat !

Went back a couple more times and the servixe and food remained wonderful

I have never been so insulted as I was yesterday at this restaurant. The waitress was extremely rude, she never took our drink orders the sushi maker behind the bar did.

Once the appetizers were brought we decided not to continue our dinner due to poor service and go elsewhere.

I’m good tipper, but TIPS ARE EARNED with good quality service and because this extremely rude waitress I decided NOT TO TIP . I believe in karma and when we do good good things comeback to us, which is why I value tipping highly when it’s deserved.

I normally let things go, it’s time consuming dwelling on negative energy, but When I was leaving the restaurant parking lot , she came outside and gave me her MIDDLE FINGER, so I decided to go inside and speak to the manager.

The manager justified the employees behavior because I didn’t tip , CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?
The bill was $20, she was nasty, rude, absurd for what? $2, $5, $10?

There’s a bunch of other incredible places with amazing customer service to earn at least $20 tip in a small $40/$50 bill.

NEVER AGAIN will I go or recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I came here for the first time today to experience their food. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience, we sat in the corner where the tables are small and the space tight, our plans were to order an appetizer, sushi and an entree, we only got through the appetizer. As we were ordering my husband put his menu under the plate due to the space being small, the waitress came over and SCOLDED my husband for putting his menu under the plate because he could get the menu dirty!! We just looked at each other, didn’t say a word. We decided we would eat and pay for our food and leave. We got our bill, paid and left.

The waitress walked out and gave us the middle finger for not tipping. We tip very well, usually above what’s expected for GOOD, QUALITY SERVICE!
My husband went back into the restaurant to address the lack of respect, professionalism, rudeness and the manager coddled her employee and agreed with her actions.

My husband and I both work in the service industry, we love to receive tips, which is why we value giving it so much. We believe that what you put out comes back! But tips are earned, they ARE NOT and obligation for rude, unprofessional people.

Don’t waste your time coming here!! If we could put 0 stars we would, because it’s ridiculous and unacceptable the way the employee behaved!

We got food from here last night and it was incredible. We ordered the coconut chicken soup, the stuffed squid, and the crispy duck. Everything had complex flavors that were so well put together. I will be back.

Had a order of pad thai delivered. Chix and shimp compo 3 shrimp and scraps of chix. 17$ no delivery charge. The taste was off and the shrimps were old. In FL. That should never happen. I will most likely never call again. But who knows they are local but pricey for the amount of seafood. Lots of noodles.
