ALL the food was great, many of the dishes tasted fresh (most seafood dishes and the sashimi) while their fried rice, pad thai, and chicken satay (skewers) had an adequate umami flavor. Their friendly staff which were very kind, however there was a man cleaning plates from our table and not bothering to ask if we were finished with our food.

This place was a delicious lunch treat during a long workday. I just missed the lunch salad/soup bar. The customer service was impeccable. The Basil tofu and charred salmon on rice was delicious. Looking forward to trying this place again and seeing how the pas see ew tastes.

We’ve been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food and their service, last night we went with a few friends and again, we were not disappointed, sushi, salads and even the Sake were great!

The highest compliment I can give a location is saying that my mother enjoyed it. She is a very picky eater and it made me happy how much she loved the food. The staff was patient and helpful when we reviewed the menu understanding we weren't overly familiar with the food. The fried Lobster rice, PA Ti and pork were amazing. The show stopper was the fresh sea food bowl. The owner informed us that every morning the yellow tale, white, and salmon was flown in from Japan. With one bite the freshness and flavor exploded on your taste birds. I highly recommend Zaab Thai and Sushi for any event it will not dissapoint.

Disappointing Service Despite Good Food

We were excited to try this sushi restaurant as newcomers to Florida and to sushi in general. Unfortunately, our experience was tainted by the poor service. From the beginning, the server was rude and unprofessional. She spoke to us in a condescending manner, going as far as to tell other tables that we were “difficult.”

Her communication skills were lacking, and instead of trying to help us understand the menu or answer questions, she seemed frustrated, even blaming us for “giving her a headache.” As customers, we rely on servers to guide us through unfamiliar experiences, not rush us or make us feel unwelcome.

That said, the food was good, which makes it even sadder that such poor service overshadowed the meal. I hope the management addresses this issue because no matter how good the food is, bad service leaves a lasting negative impression.

Friday nite this place was busy with people waiting for a table. We ordered take out. Service was very friendly. Everything we ordered was decent except the jumping shrimp that wasnt worth it. The soups were tasty. The beef in the pad thai was a bit tough. Stick to the chicken lol

I spent 5 months backpacking throughout Thailand. After coming home, I felt homesick… Thailand had embraced me so warmly. I sought out Thai food in south FL and FINALLY found Zabb. I KID YOU NOT, this food is authentic! Nostalgia is the elusive ingredient every chef strives for. I am so grateful to Zabb for bringing me a piece of Thailand even though I’m thousands of miles away from the place I called home for 5 months.

I didn’t dine in but the two times ive gotten their pad thai it straight up tastes like ketchup. The sauce is reddish and it overpowers the whole dish. I know you can replace tamarind paste with ketchup in the recipe but this place really violates with it. It doesnt taste like pad thai at all.

The sushi was meh, curry was good. If I ever go back I’ll be sticking to the Thai portion of the menu.

Ordered a chicken dish with basile sauce. was very tasty although a wee bit on the salty side A large portion ,not on any luncheon special. I was told for lunch they have free soup and salad served with any entree. Will be back again for sure! ) Once again i was here. I wanted to like this place but I ordered scallop fried rice and it tasted like it was just full of oil, every bite. They took it back but it didn’t change much for me, and my plate came back with 2 less scallop than it left. I probably will try this place again but will skip fried rice.. my daughter liked her whole lunch meal. The ginger sauce was too sweet for us. The steamed gyoza was great.

The curries and stir-fry’s here are delicious in my opinion. The staff is also very friendly, especially a waitress named Shampoo.

This place is simply awesome. The service is excellent, our server, Jeab, was extremely attentive and friendly. The food came out quick and the plate presentation was impressive. They have a large variety so I can’t speak to all the menu items; but the Four Seasons roll, Trio Sushi crispy rice, and Panko Fried Tuna roll were great. The ginger salad had good flavor although the lettuce pieces were a bit too big for my preference. Also, their Thai tea is solid. 5/5 I’d come back here again.

I've eaten here twice and feel the food is not so delicious. It is westernized to the Farang palate. Pad thai is submerged in sauce like ketchup and tamarind. The green and red curry is a bit watery and bland.
A more delicious place should be found.

The food is affordable, great portions, and tastes amazing! Customer service is top tier. The waiters and waitresses are all genuinely happy to serve you. What an experience! There’s a reason why this place is so popular yet it has kept all its good reviews. They deserve a 5 star rating on google tbh. The owner is also incredibly lovely! Overall, I’m definitely recommending this restaurant for anyone who asks about a spot in Florida!

Not too sure why this place is rated so high....both my wife and I had plates that had chicken. In both cases the chicken was overcooked. Yes they gave you a lot of food for the money, but the chicken was not edible. Basically we both ate around the chicken eating the vegetables, rice and sauce. Will not return.

Living in LA for 15 years made me fall in love with Thai food. Zabb definitely checks some marks but nothing close to Thai food in LA, at least with the Pad Thai noddles.

Ordered Mango Sticky Rice. Clearly there’s cross contamination in the kitchen because it tasted like garlic. Really piss poor job on keeping the knives separate. I almost gagged and had to throw it out.

Food is good. But the manager/owner who works the front counter needs to be retrained on hospitality. We spend $100-$150 every week yet she doesn’t want to give us 1 sauce per each dozen sushi’s. I’m not sure how she runs a business but she needs to learn what it means to take care of her repeat clients, even if it means giving $1.00 worth of sauces. The other employees are great but this owner/manager needs to maybe find another profession. She is a perfect example of HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY. If it was my Restaraunt, I would happily give my clients extra sauces. Go find another job lady.

What a great restaurant with large portions. It was packed on a Friday night around 8 PM and the service was great. Sat down pretty much immediately and it was just a packed house. Food was great 10 out of 10 cannot complain. Best Thai restaurant in Broward.

I got spicy miso with pork belly an order of calamari and mango sticky rice for dessert. It was great! The ramen egg was beautifully cooked and with great taste. The mango sticky rice was AMAZING. The dining staff all work together very well making the experience very smooth. The cooks behind the counter were all very friendly when I asked a couple allergy questions as well. Great experience.

Best sushi and pad Thai place around

I placed a large to go order only to find out that certain dishes were missing when I got home. I was pretty frustrated when I called them back, but their reaction was extremely professional and truly emphatic. The owner ended up bringing the missing dishes to my house! I thought that was exceptional customer service and really made me feel like they deserve a 5 star review. Food is always good as well. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you

we're always looking for new restaurants to try. we went to Zabb today and we'll definitely be back for more. The decor is so inviting, and there's soft jazz music playing in the background. Our server, Sa, actually came back and gave my dad a new bottle of beer, because she felt the beer wasn''t cold enough. She also brought me a new glass of soda, when she saw my glass was getting low. Antonio came and quickly took our empty plates. Now for the food. Appetizers are delicious. We had dragon rolls and konnisu, which is my mom's favorite. I had pad thai rice with fried tofu, which is really good. The portions are generous, and the price is definitely right. Desserts are yummy as well. I highly recommend the fried ice cream.

Place that tries to handle both Thai and Japanese food but struggles a bit with both. Have been here 2-3 times with family and has been mediocre each time - red curry, yaki soba, yaki udon and pad woon sen. Their pad kee mao is pretty good though.

Made reservations a week in advance for the back booth.Did not get. Told it was taken. Ordered wong ton soup tasteless and gooey. My soup coconut with chicken was Good.Vegetable spring rolls mushy. And you only two cut in half? Beef Pai Thai tough and hard to chew. Pai Thai with shrimp, the shrimp was dried out. We come often. Always loved it. We were there for Christmas Eve, as we have been coming every year. Very very disappointed. It was not even that busy. We may not be back.We will need to find a new place and tell our friends who introduced to zaab to go elsewhere.Nothing lasts forever I guess. Sorry but Christmas Eve is an important dining out time for us. We were so dissatisfied. Perhaps it was an off night?

My friend and I went for a date. The food was absolutely amazing, Tom kha reminded me a bit of Thailand it was beyond delish. Personally the Pad Thai was not my favorite, the flavors didn’t harmonize with my palate, but my friend loved it. Everything else including the sushi 🍣, fried rice and tobiko was perfect!!

Visited with my family to celebrate a birthday, the restaurant is big and very comfortable. Staff were very attentive and the meals were delicious.

Finally ate lunch at Zabb for the first time. We arrived almost at the end of the lunch specials time. The place was busy but we were seated right away. I ordered the Ginger Sauce (usually my go to at Thai restaurants) with chicken. Also ordered was the shrimp with mixed vegetables. I always ask for the chili paste on the side and they brought out the tray with four chili/red pepper styles to choose from. The lunch special comes with salad bar. The salad was almost empty but they gladly replenished it for us. The ginger dressing was delicious and you pour the amount yourself. I was in Ginger heaven 🫚. I also ordered the miso soup which was hot and tasty with lots of seaweed wrap. Definitely will return.
