I have been to so many Thai restaurants as I love Thai food. Honestly, the food served to us was not very freshly made/hot like I always have had from any Thai restaurant.

It felt like food was already cooked and mildly heated in microwave.

The server was kind to get one of our dish heated again which made it better but still not the experience you want from a nice looking spacious restaurant like this.

I visited Cilantro last night for Date Night, and it was our first time there. Despite the place being busy, we didn’t have to wait. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with lovely decor. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and our waitress was fantastic and provided great service. We ordered a few drinks, some appetizer, and a sushi boat, and everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Cilantro is such an amazing restaurant. Experience in food and in service unbeatable! Tor guided our pallet to try new dishes and it was all phenominal. Thank you Tor for such great lunch and service! Experience again was top notch! AND for the win, they are pet friendly!

Ask for Kathy!

We came here to celebrate our kid’s birthday. Kathy was quick and friendly. We had dumplings, spring rolls,, and the sushi appetizer which is chef’s choice and made up of five classic rolls.

Everything came out hot and tasty. The springs rolls were crisp and the dumpling steamed perfectly.

For entrees we ordered had the kids chicken tenders, the Thai Basil street food with steamed tofu and brown rice (pictured), the Bahama roll, and the Rainbow lobster roll (pictured), which came with a gorgeous presentation. I had to take part of the Thai Basil home, because after those starters, I was full, but everyone else cleaned their plates.

The final touch was Kathy bringing out Thai donuts with whipped cream and frosting to sing “Happy birthday.” Even though we were all full, we had to try these. They were so warm and not greasy.

All of that, plus sodas, Thai ice tea and a hot sake came to a very reasonable price-about $30 a person before tax.

Kathy is an awesome server- she always makes sure you have enough food. Great personality and she always makes our visit enjoyable. I recommend the salmon belly bite appetizer. The Blue crab roll is one of my favorites pair it with a cucumber martini.

We discovered this place by driving by and finally decided to try it. Now it became our sushi place! Food is really fresh. Servers are really nice and friendly (today Kathy). Look forward to coming back.

Ok, there’s a reason the Sun Sentinel named this place best Sushi in SoFlo. It’s in the old Ruby Tuesdays near Lowe’s off 84. Great atmosphere. Fai (server) was great! Sat at the bar and watched the magic take place. Excellent. Don’t miss this place with wide variety of Asian offerings. Super creative rolls. Not your run of the mill place. If you’re tired of the same old sushi rolls- come here. They were fast too, on a Friday night. Age tofu was scrumptious. Thai selections too but didn’t try them. Small cute bar scene. Big dining area.

We’ve been going there on a fairly regular.are basis since first discovering them about 16 - 18 months ago. We have NEVER had a bad experience from the welcoming greeting, atmosphere, service, drinks to food, to the exit.
We’ve had dine in and take out. The take out quality rivals the dine in experience. There is wonderful care taken to packing the food to go.
Our latest visit this evening was for a fast bite after a very long day. We were greeted as family friends and immediately seated at a booth. The seats are comfortable and supportive. (I have a bad back and have rarely had such a comfortable seat. We’ve also been at a table with chairs and they are equally comfortable and supportive.).

Our server, Jara, was attentive and gracious, and never intrusive. She is one of the number of excellent staff. I wish I could recall all their names from the numerous dinners. Again, we have never had even a marginally negative experience with the staff. I don’t know how they manage to keep everyone so positive and gracious. Two special call outs though, first to the excellent bartender. As a longtime martini drinker I’ve had my share of questionable drinks while living in SoFL. This man is a magician behind the bar. His martinis are sublime. Other guests have sampled the numerous creations on the drinks menu… and they rave about them long after we’ve left. If he is the mind behind these creations they had best keep him forever.
The other individual who we’ve seen working there since put first visit is, for want of his name, the busboy. He is everywhere! Everyone works there but he is in constant motion, ensuring that tables are cleared, dirty plates removed once diners are comfortably finished, cuing staff when someone needs attention, providing plates and utensils/ chopsticks, filling glasses, you name it. He is another reason every dining experience is so relaxing and enjoyable.

Finally, the food. I’m adventurous and try everything, though I have my favorites. The curries are balanced and flavorful, soups are equally balanced and full of deep flavor. The salads have all been fresh and crisp. Noodle dishes have all been delicious. The fried rice dishes are HUGE portions but so flavorful you don’t get tired of them.
On the Japanese side of the menu, it never disappoints. Presentation rivals taste here. The creativity of the rolls offered never ceases to amaze me. Every guest who has tried any of the rolls or sushi presentations is delighted. Chirashi is my personal favorite.

If you love Thai food, if you love excellent sushi and Japanese based flavors, come here. You will not ever be disappointed. If you have never tried Thai or true Japanese flavors, make this a must on your list.

I love this place! Our server was Kathy, we loved the drinks and the food. We order the calamari 100/10 👌🏻 with a delicious honey, we tried the avocado-crab salad (with the real crab) 🦀 ufff so delicious! And the Mongolian beef! You have to ask for the spices: chili oil and other things that I don't remember 😂 (because I'm little tipsy) we have the hallelujah 🍹and vanilla sky🥃. This was the first time my family and I tried this restaurant and we absolutely love it. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The menu is extensive so there is something for everybody to enjoy. I think we found our new favorite sushi restaurant. Our waitress Kathy was amazing, you could just tell she has a good soul. She made us feel like family. The prices are decent, more reasonable than a lot of trendy sushi spots with fresh and delicious food. The Davie roll and the Mango Maguro roll rose above my expectations. We can’t wait to come back and try more!

My best friend and I come to Cilantro almost every Saturday night! Their sushi is so fresh and delicious. They have so many options, everything I have tried so far has been delicious. The service and staff is always friendly and prompt even on busy nights like Saturdays. Special shout out to the host (maybe manager?) who wears the cardigan sweater, he’s so nice!
