Let me first start by saying Thai food is one of my favorites! Found this spot through a Google search for Thai restaurants near me. The Thai was clearly old. The noodles tasted as if they had been refrigeratorated and reheated. And the rice was mushy. By far the worst Thai food in South Florida. My bf ended up getting food poisoning from the reheated shrimp we were served. Thankfully I did not partake in any shrimp. The health department needs to be called on this place. Yes its that bad! Stay away from this place. I'm almost 85% sure there is some form of dirty dining happening here.

Lotus garden is a gem, very nice ambiance and delicious food. I had the sour sweet fried tofu and it was one of the most delicious plates I've had in a while. Their rice is also fresh and not salty and the spring rolls were very good. Overall, our entire table has nothing but good reviews. Would definitely recommend for any vegans out there.

Every time we come I mean to write a glowing review. They have the most consistently truly delicious food. Flavorful in a way that will make you only want to eat here for Thai food. Food took quite some time to come out.
The younger Hispanic guy was great. Good food once it arrived.

They have good vegan options including a vegan curry which is hard to find. My go to Thai place in Miami.

We have been going to this fabulous Family owned and operated Restaurant for over 30 years. Pad Tai is my favorite and we had the sweet and sour chicken , both were great!

I really try never to share a negative review, but this time it was multiple issues. 30 just to take our order while watching 3 other tables get their food. When we asked the manager to please take our order, he was put out. We finally got our order and it was incorrect. Wrong dressing on the salad, plus the cucumbers had been frozen (aka soggy). When you get an automatic 20% for service on your check. You expect service.

The prices listed on this companies website are not accurate. We ordered on the phone, but when we showed up the waitstaff tried to charge a higher price. He was rude and we felt it was extremely deceptive. We asked to speak to a manager and the young man told us there were no managers and no owner.

The quality of ingredients used is very poor and mostly frozen. The servers are polite but are least interested in customer service.

Great food, owner was very kind and you can tell he's very passionate about his restaurant and treating people well

Food was OK. I typically take photos and post but I was relatively unimpressed and felt the food was average at best. What was more surprising was the very old carpet throughout the dining area and dated feel of the restaurant in general. When we went for dinner on a Friday around 7 PM, the place was virtually empty and I understood why after walking inside. It’s a little surprising to see such a place in the heart of Coral Gables where everything is being remodeled. It seems like an old relic, out of date and in need of a serious update. The food could also be improved

The food was on time and the order was correct but mother of pearls it was so bland! Please keep your thoughts and prayers with Miami as it desperately tries to find itself good Asian food

I ordered a vegetable curry and it was very delicious. I appreciate them accommodating my special requests for this. The chicken lettuce wraps are ones to assemble yourself which make it a bit messy, but still tasty. We ate outside and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas were a little tasteless. The outdoor chairs were very uncomfortable.

Wonderful longtime fav in the Gables...I love their PadThai with Shrimp, Curry Scallops and Sapporo on Tap! Plus I have food allergies and they are very accommodating! Swanni and Staff are very nice!

I was reluctant to come in cause the place was empty (at 6pm on a Thursday), but the reviews were all so good, and they weren’t wrong! Friendly staff, excellent food. I had red curry, tum yum soup and Thai iced tea. All for $25 with tax.

It's really good! I ordered the pad Thai and was not disappointed. That do a really good job of it and they make it really fast. It's also got really good prices too. That is much appreciated. Parking is kinda rough but it's Miami. I'm going to go back just to try other stuff. Definitely recommend it and I'll be back.

We went here for Father’s Day dinner after reading it was rated in the 10 best Thai restaurants in Miami. We started with spring rolls and they we good. Next was the lettuce wraps and although good & fresh, they lacked additional sauce that most places offer so it was somewhat dry. The main dishes were excellent and fresh seafood. It seemed that the food prep took longer than expected as we were there early and the restaurant was not full yet. We would dine here again.

I’m not sure where all the good reviews come from on this restaurant as the food was very bland which normally isn’t the case with Thai food which I have eaten a lot of. The service was very good though.

The ambience could be updated to make it more trendy, but the food is seriously worthy. The owner is always around. Perfect for large or small groups. Kids are welcome. Very family-friendly. Vegetarian review: This is one of the TWO Miami Thai restaurants that can serve vegetarian iterations of most of their foods without fish or oyster sauce. The food itself is cooked well. The spice levels are true to Miami being two points lower than expected. The medium level of heat was closer to mild sauce at Taco Bell.

The spicy fried tofu was too sweetish and seemed like something that was stir-fried with a standard sweet and chili sauce. The Thai vegetables in a a basil sauce was better.

I was disappointed they do not carry eggplant - which is a standard in Thai cuisine!
