Thai Street Food in Coral Gables
They do everything right with the food, but their service is distracted. Would definitely recommend the massamun curry, it was aromatic and rich. The fried rice had perfect flavor bursts! We had asked for extra plates, after a long wait we had to get them ourselves. They had forgotten a dish in our order, and we had to remind them to bring it.
Love this little hidden gem. Me and my wife are now regulars, we try to make it once a week. Phenomenal food great service, they always make great suggestions since I’m not to familiar with Thai food. The best part is the price for the heart of the gables. Must try is the ginger duck.

I was very impressed by the authentic Thai flavors! I looked for some time for a good Thai restaurant. Look no further, this is it. The authentic flavor is on point 👏. They have a variety of seating options; you can sit outdoors on a lovely active pedestrian walk or inside. I recommend the indoor traditional floor seating with Mon Thai Pillows. My favorite dish was the "E-sarn Sausage" but be careful with the chilies are very spicy. The "Earth, Wind and Fire" was very delicious as well. If you like Duck they have a number of appetizing duck dishes.
We were the only people in here today so it was nice and quiet. I’m a Thai and Lao food snob because I’m Lao and I don’t like the food most restaurants make here. I don’t feel like they show true flavors and typically Americanize the dishes. This place is 100% legit. I love how they put cha lua in the som tum which was unsuspecting. I got the tray and it came with the typical finger foods like chicken wings, vermicelli noodles, and seen hang. All the flavors were spot on and delicious and I was really happy to know this place is representing the area. Would definitely be coming back!
This place has become a weekly destination for us. It’s never a miss and the staff at least how we’ve experienced them these past 30+ times have always been great. The food is consistent and authentic. I find myself craving here all the time. We usually go for the PadWoo Sen, Yellow chicken curry, pad Thai, spring rolls, chicken fried rice (best in town), chicharones.
Excellent food, friendly service ! The coconut soup was the best I’ve had in Miami

I do uber eats at least twice a week from this place and the food is delicious specially the pad thai is the best I have tried so far .

The young man that was at the entrance was very rude and lacked customer service. It used to be nice when it was called Bangkok Bangkok
Fav restaurant in Miami. Esarn sausages. pad thai & Tom Kar Gai soup are my go to. Love the service & decor.
This place is a consistent hit with my family. Food is so good and the staff is the nicest. Definitely a gem!!!
Good location, good food. Good customer service. I recommend.
I tried the Somtam tray there, and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and service were equally impressive, leaving a lasting impression. It was so delicious that I ended up going three times in a single month
lol!!
RACIST and discriminatory restaurant. Denied access to even look at the menu for being black with a disability. Required to have a service dog and have a federal badge with documents. The staff representative at desk told me I can’t even look at the menu which is only accessible inside and told me to go outside after informing him that I require a service animal and showed him federal documents which was illegal for him to ask me in the first place.
Be aware of all the waiters and waitresses that work in this place. They are trained to take more money from your tips without permission. They took double the amount that I left. It’s a shame.. the people that work there are very dishonest. They have no respect and take your money from your credit card. 👎
Found a hair in my dish
Hands down the best Thai food in miami. Good authentic dishes and amazing flavour. Khao Soi is a favourite of mine and very few places offer it, and it’s so good here! Down to earth place and very reasonable prices. My top go to in Miami!
Food was great but service was very bad
My go to spot for curry! ♥️
From the start, the waitress Kai was extremely rude. She hurried us to order and, to make matters worse, rushed us to leave. We couldn't finish our food and had to pack it to go. Her behavior made our experience very unpleasant. In contrast, the other two male waiters were very nice.
Decent Thai food. Appetizers (papaya salad and crab wonton) were pretty good. Green curry portion size seemed smaller than usual, taste was okay. Seafood fried rice was above average.
Great location in Miami parking is a little rough but the restaurant was authentic Thai and food was great.
I am a teenager. My mom and I were craving roasted duck soup noodles. We were very pleasantly surprised to come across this restaurant that had exactly the dish we were craving on their menu! It was absolutely delicious! We also had the chicken satay as well as the fried banana with vanilla ice cream and chocolate which were also absolutely delicious! The lemongrass and sorel non-alcoholic beverages we had were also very delicious and refreshing! Our waitress was wonderful, kind and helpful too! She said her name was "Tim". We had a great meal here! Also, we enjoyed sitting Thai-style at a table low to the ground with cushions to sit on.
The best Thai food around - seriously so delicious. I’ve never had something from here that wasn’t amazing!! This is our go-to spot for Thai and I always recommend it!!

Good Thai spot. Floor seating (on cushions) is available inside!

The best pad thai in miami definitely give it a try
Nothing to write home about. Wouldn’t go back.
Hands down best Thai food in Miami. I'm not one to leave reviews but y'all need to try this place. Get the Pad See Eew!
Great Thai food at affordable prices. Staff is very nice and great for recommendations. Haven’t found better Thai in Miami
Do not order! Delivery orders arrive late, incomplete and cold. Horrible service!
This place is a gem, gracefully tucked in the hustle and bustle of SE Miami/ Coral Gables, within a vibrant walkway off Miracle Mile that hosts a row of restaurants and bars.
As soon as you walk in, you are kindly greeted by a hostess along with the unique and authentic imagery and decor that instantly transport you to the likes of Bangkok.
I am a huge Thai food fanatic, so I would say my palette is a bit more refined when it comes to this cuisine. The food here speaks for itself. The Masaman Curry here is out-of-the-world. The portions are also very generous!
Dining experience was fine. Though my husband did see a very big cockroach in the men’s restroom. Be very careful I got my credit card charged twice - once before tip and once after. Called them to resolve and the manager hasn’t called me back to resolve with my credit card company or me.
muy ricos los tallarines
Always walk by this place on my way to work and finally decided to pop in. Got the E-sarn Sausage, Larb Kai, and Pad Chicharrons Gra-Pao. They were all excellent. Have never seen E-sarn Sausage at any other Thai place. They ask for a spiciness level when you order; being Miami, I know they probably have to tone down the spice level for the locals, so we requested medium. I think they forgot because the dishes weren't spicy AT ALL. Except for the E-sarn Sausage which comes with a little side of diced peppers. Either way I'm definitely coming back and trying some of the other dishes. It's a nice change from all the Italian and Latin restaurants in the area.
- Terrible steamed white rice
- Their dishes are VERY salty
- The atmosphere is kind of smelly inside the restaurant
I do not recommend
Decent pad chiccharron gra poa (very similar to the Chinese roasted pig) except meat portion is stingy (even less on 2nd time order), red curry flavor is flavorful but inconsistent on spice level. Medium spicy hot last time was super spicy burned my lips, medium spicy hot request again this time is not hot at all, not even mildly hot.
DO NOT ORDER from this place. We placed an order with Uber but the restaurant delivered the food to someone else. When we called them to ask for status, they asked us to cancel the Uber order because they were too busy, but then they denied the request to cancel to Uber, so we got charged for the order and we never received the food. We called them to seek clarification and they blocked us. Really frustrating and disappointing.
This restaurant steal from people. They have devised a plan where they say someone else take your Uber Eats order, tell you to cancel it because they can’t redo it and then deny they told you to cancel the order. Wise plan to steal from people. Finding a way to denounce them
Great food, but my favorite was the coconut drink
pleasantly surprised by the wonderful flavors of the dishes here. minty chicken larb and rich nutty mussaman curry. the combo plate with papaya salad v refreshing. service efficient and friendly. Coral Gables price point but i was v happy to have visited here for my last meal in town.
Highly recommend!!!! Best food ever in Miami! Good service and friendly.
What was meant to be a random night out ended up being a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly, the food was really tasty and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming 🌟
i had put in a large order (10+ entrees) through uber eats. they were unresponsive until the estimated delivery time, at which point i had to call them to make sure. however, the staff told me they had never gotten my order. a minute later, the order was cancelled on uber eats. ive heard that the food is good but id strongly recommend people ordering delivery for large groups to reconsider other options.
Food is very average. Tom Yum Goong soup was very diluted. Normally this soup is red in color from my experience and spicy. This soup was not red and barely spicy. Shrimp inside was very good though. The recommendation by waitress “that many people like” pork belly dish was terrible: dry salty meat, hard to chew. My son could not eat it, we trued to help. Maybe they wanted to get rid off some older cooked meal? The Pad Thai I ordered was very average. I had to ask for piece of lime to enhance the flavor, but noodles were soggy. Place is noisy and simple. Not coming back, sorry.
The food kinda sucked. There were no cookies.
Muyyy Buena la atención y la comida !!!
Food is great but very over priced. For just pad thai a curry and crispy ragoons $75
Más de 30 minutos esperando a que un driver recogiera el pedido la peor experiencia que eh tenido con un restaurante aparta la comida no es la gran cosa no se los recomiendo
Best Thai food in south Florida! Papaya salad is amazing! All dishes fresh and delicious w many vegan options . We come regularly and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!( Great prices too.👍🏻)
We really enjoyed the food here. The server was attentive but was assigned too many tables--not his fault! Poor guy kept apologizing. I only mention it because we actually needed to go pick up a kid and it became an issue. The food here is using the normal Thai restaurant scale for heat where the number of peppers on the menu is literally the number of peppers they're adding. So a two pepper icon is two peppers added. At this place they say their food is either one, two or three peppers. In most cities the scale goes to at least five (with the servers who are Thai saying they go six to eight with the dishes they eat themselves). In other words, three peppers at this place, which they are saying is hot for Miamians, is going to be medium heat for people who are used to Thai cuisine. We definitely recommend this place and will be back, getting at least three peppers in the dishes, lol.
Room for improvement. I was a little disappointed on my experience. My glass of water had lipstick so it had not been washed. My Tom Yum Soup was very bland and still had powdered cayenne on top. Masaman Curry was good. The service was prompt and attentive. I will give them a second shot, but my experience this time was less than stellar.
The chive dumplings were amazing. To the tom kai Gai aoupnwas ver good. The drunken noodles were good. Maybe I'd prefer a tiny bit more sauce on them but they were phenomenal nonetheless. Can't wait to come back.
We decided to go for some Thai food for lunch, it was a great idea to do it in Khaosan, the food was awesome, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm for a cold day in Miami.
We started with the Khao Soy soup, in reality we had ordered the Beef Stew but the waitress confused the ordered because we talked about both dishes. In any case it was a great confusion, the soup was delicious. Then we went for the Pad Thai, aiming for something traditional, and closed with the Kao Moo Dang.
The service was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming and Thai-like. We'll certainly come back!
Ordered UberEats and restaurant had issues with wifi and instead of shutting off UberEats, let orders go without any notice. Waited 90 minutes and no food.
This thai restaurant is amazing, i can taste real asian spicy food here. Fall in love with the papaya salad similar like my mom made in the back home🤤🤤🤤, the service are friendly too specially the young guy who served us. 2 times came and never disappointed with this Thai Restaurant ✨✨✨🫶
Fast service, kind staff and great dishes! Both the beef pad thai and the thai iced tea were delicious!
The dishes are tasty, and the staff is superb. Happy to see a Coral Gables icon thriving among all the new development.
Major red flag: going to pick up food at peak dinner time with no single customer in sight.
Not only was the food extremely disappointing, when I called to share my feedback, it was not taken well by the “manager”. Thai food is my absolute favorite cuisine…I ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, pork and rice dish and the green curry. The pad thai was extremely flavorless and smothered in peanuts, the pad kee mao was also bland, the pork and rice dish was not the correct description on their menu and their curry had your basic Chinese eggplant instead of the Thai egg plant that was listed on their menu.
I will travel the extra 35 min to go to my favorite Thai restaurant in North Miami and support an establishment that cares about their customer and business.
very good food!! The crispy duck is just amazing - super juicy, flavorful and perfectly crispy!! Service is also amazingly kind and nice. The owner is so sweet! I also had spring rolls - super crunchy and tasty! And for dessert, the doughnuts. Chewy, savory, and the dipping sauce is also so good. Food like that makes me happy
Thai iced tea was delicious. The food was absolutly insane, I cannot wait to come back. The ambience was a bit amiss.
Comida increíble. Lugar tambien.
🔥Thai place in Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. Got the Pad Thai, Red Curry (which came with rice 🍚) as well as Thai Iced Tea. Everything was super good and great quantities!! If you’re in the area and craving Thai with a calm ambience, definitely come here! The staff was friendly and nice as well. Overall, enjoyed the experience quite a bit!
I loved the food, everything tasted delicious, we had Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, red Curry with chicken which was top notch and fried rice, food tasted delicious but it was lacking in ambiance, it’s not pretty to the eyes and also not super welcoming to the public. It does have good price for the food!
Had the pad thai, it was good although I ordered spicy, and it was not that hot. Portion was large, prices have gone up though, like everywhere else.
Khaosan Road is a highly recommended restaurant. Not only is their food excellent but the staffing is the best part. (Such an excellent chef) Kul, the chef among so many other staff members so pleasant to be around. They are very personable and genuine. People here serve from the heart and they are always happy and hard working giving exceptional experience to the customers. I’ve been back to this place serval times and will continue to support them! The spicy roast duck was so delicious! So crispy and flavorful please try it. 😁
Excellent pad Thai spicy 🌶 good soup , crab 🦀 crisp love the dipping sauce loved the fried rice thumbs up 👍🏻
I'm not really a Thai cuisine fan, but I have to admit that I went there twice (and willingly). Great food, tasty and memorable. It totally changed my previous perception about curry. A must in Coral Gables
BEST THAI EVER! I stayed in Miami for the winter and came to this place at least 3-4 times a week. It's so good. It was a ritual to get the e-sarn sausages, tom yum goong soup, and somtum papaya salad as appetizers, and then yellow curry/kao ka moo/khaosoi, or really anything as an entree, with a Thai iced tea on the side. I usually only get pad thai at Thai restaurants, but the other dishes here were amazing and I'm so glad I tried them. Been trying to find other Thai restaurants that can match the flavor here in other places across the country, but no luck. Definitely will be coming back whenever I visit Miami again. It can get pretty darn busy during dinner time, but other than that, super worth it!!!
First of all the flavors were on point. The green curry sauce was great! I just wonder if it has sugar, because it was a little sweet.
The reason I am giving three stars is because the menu includes "bell peppers", and I asked for extra onions & garlic, and there was none included; If there was a charge that would not have been a problem.
It is just disappointing when you pick-up an order, get home and open it, and it is missing something you asked for and nothing was said. Also the pictures of the green curry show a good amount of eggplant and other vegetables, mine had a couple of small pieces of eggplant, and barely anything else I could identify. Usually Thai food has lots of stir-fried vegetables.
It was the same with the chicken Earth, Wind, & Fire. The sauce was good, just a little sweet, so it seems it may have sugar. Also, although the Menu says it includes "mixed vegetables" all I could see was a few pieces of curly cabbage maybe?
The other thing was that the rice was sticky and starchy. I have had some very good quality Thai rices, this was not one of them.
This place has been around for a long time because it is the former Bankok Bankok. It could be really Good, but there are some adjustments to be made.
Had really good Panang curry. Great portion and great service. Maybe not as spicy for those who like super spicy. I like some spice and medium spicy was not enough for me so definitely ask for more spice.
Place looks great but service wasn't. We ask the last for cilantro and green onio but the lady didn't come back. We was half done with our food finally we have to ask the guy for some cilantro and green onio. He only came back with cilantro. After we pay for our tap and waking to our car. The lady chase us down about tip. We left $5 tips because the service wasn't good. We was embarrassed that she chase us asking for more tip. I'm a business owner and I would never ever do anything like that. Need to do better and stop chasing customer about a tip
The food was very good, good price, and the waiter was friendly and helpful in choosing our meals. I will go back.
Beautiful place, excellent service and delicious food. Congratulations to everyone for this incredible Yam place
I have just order from Uber eats and just love it!! My food was very hot and the flavor is amazing, but also it’s a lot of food and I ate a lot from it, I’m even getting some for tomorrow lunch at work . FIVE STARS DESERVED✨
Great authentic Thai street food !! Nice outdoor sitting
Expensive, not sufficient, far from being a basic food, a complete disappointment
Delicious creative food served in a friendly straight forward environment. Good outside comfortable table seating. The Chicharrón Gra—Pao is very creative (and delicious). Their noodles in the Pad Woosen is great comfort food. We will be back. Thanks to Server Paul.
I was seated and waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order. Completely ignored by staff. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. I left and went to Malakor Thai Isaan. Disappointed to say the least. I was looking forward to trying their food.
Delicious Thai food in Coral Gables. Casual Thai eatery with reasonable prices, large menu selection & good service. As a fan of beef noodle soup(mainly pho), Khaosan Road is a close second, with extremely tender cuts of beef an an excellent, aromatic broth! Also tried the steamed gyōza, with a delicious spicy dipping sauce & Shrimp fried rice, expertly seasoned with large shrimp. Will definitely be back to explore other menu options!
Great food and fast service. Ordered the shrimp fried rice, pad Thai and spring rolls. It was delicious 😋
I’m from Chicago and I crave Asian cuisine
more than any other we originally passed this place up for a Vietnamese restaurant nearby only to find it was closed for the day. Lucky for us this gem was only a few doors down and I would call it luck at its best. This Thai restaurant has dishes that I would truly have that authentic Thai street food taste every dish we had was beautiful in flavor and quality. We ordered the pad Thai, crispy pork belly in a spicy garlic sauce, and the garlic sauce stir fry with beef and chicken, plus the jumping shrimp salad and my goodness we were all in heaven. The food was DELICIOUS, the customer service was amazing our waitress was very kind and helpful, we were told an older woman was in the back cooking up the dishes with years of experience and we knew right away that’s why they were made so perfect. I’ll definitely be back before I fly out, and can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in Miami!
I am glad to have found this place, especially after how we were treated at Malakor Thai Issan (I do not recommend). At Khaosan Road, the food is great and there is plenty of outdoor seating.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the servers can be hit or miss. I personally recommend Kat or Tyler. Any time they’ve waited on us, our experience has been amazing. Other servers have gotten too overwhelmed due to the high volume and will forget to come back to our table.
I would definitely recommend this place.
Solid Thai food in Coral Gables. Everything. I was impressed by how tasty and tender the pork was cooked.
Mmmmmm que rico!!! I love the environment and the most important is the food is so tasty and a good portion too. I'll definitely coming back with family and friends. 😊👍🏻
Omg a hidden gem for sure. Ive been craving great authentic Thai food for awhile and this place is definitely it. So cute inside and the service was super. We ordered the Pad Thai, Mussuman curry, Papaya Salad, Tom Kar Gai soup oh and a Thai Iced Tea. Everything had so much flavor especially that soup. Was so awesome! Will be back for sure. Keep it the amazing work guys!
This place is fantastic. Food is delicious, staff attentive, and priced reasonably.
Amazing! Best meal I've had in two years and friendly service with plenty of gluten free options. Spicy 5/5 was very spicy, but without ruining the flavor. I had the duck noodle soup and the panang curry. Yum
I definitely give this place a 5 regarding their flavor and food, it is really good. I gave it 3 stars because I ordered a pick up order through post mates and did not receive what I ordered. I ordered a pad gra-pao but instead received some kind of flat noodle dish. Online it says the pad gra pao is an over rice dish that I’ve ordered at plenty other Thai restaurants. so I’m not sure if I received the wrong order or what. Either way even the noodle dish was a good flavor, I wasn’t going to let it go to waste but it just wasn’t what I order. Will try this place again because it definitely is authentic tasting Thai
I asked for spicy and they delivered. True Thai dishes (I lived in Thailand) plus good service.
absolutely delicious! one of my favorite restaurants in coral gables!
Good foods and wonderful services and uniquely great experiences.
Good Thai food. I had the Mussuman currywith Tofu. It doesn't show on the menu that there is Tofu option available but you can ask for it if you want vegetarian option. This mussuman curry was the first I have had with pineapple chunks and I like the unique flavor that the pineapple adds. We also had the fried banana and Thai donuts. Both are superb and disappeared very quickly. I would come back next time I visit Miami
Amazing food!!!
A must have
Definitely coming back
The chicharron was amazing...
Absolutely incredible! I came here on Sunday night with friends and everything was delicious. The service was great - our server was too funny.
Huge portions, beautiful presentation, friendly service, and some of the best Thai food I've had, including in Thailand.
Everything we ordered was great. Apps mains and beer was fantastic. Will be eating there again.
Es excelente. La comida es muy buena y muy variada. Los invito a disfrutar.
Good Thai food with friendly service
Had the Khao soy, veeery good noodle soup.
I will be coming back to try some other dishes.
Amazing food and place
Have eaten here before when it was Bangkok Bangkok and after the name change and while I'm not sure if there was a change in management or in the kitchen, the food just taste better now. Not that it was bad before, but now it's on par with my other favorite Thai restaurant in Miami.
Appetizers: E-sarn sausages are a MUST. Wrap them around in the lettuce leaves and add all the toppings - just delightful.
Entrees: "Basic" as it may be, these folks have perfected their fried rice and pad thai. I've also had several curries here and they're all amazing - the Massaman curry is out of this world.
Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
I have order many times from the restaurant and the food have always been good but today 11/15/20 I order chicken curry and the 4 pieces of potatoes were rotten... is a shame .better check you product before you give it to the customer... will order again but please be more careful in the future...
Authentic food, great competitive price and generous portions!!
The best Thai food in Miami. I spent a lot of my childhood (and still spend time whenever I can) in Bangkok since my family lived there for long time and some still do. Raised in a family full of chefs and food lovers, I know authentic Thai food is hard to find in Miami.
My partner and I ordered delivery from Khao San 3 times in 2 weeks and loved it so much we decided we had to go to the restaurant. We ordered Kao man gai (chicken rice), Thai sausages, pad Thai, pad kee mao and pad see ew for delivery purposely leaving their unique street food dishes to be tasted in person.
Their pork leg stew with rice and bok choy (A MUST) from my knowledge is not offered at any other restaurant in Miami. Such a rare dish to find made me so happy to have such a nostalgic taste. The meat was tender and delicious.
The beef noodles - a long time favorite. Meat also tender and broth full of flavor. I got it with egg noodles. (Highly recommend)
Other dishes I enjoyed: Thai sausages, som Tum (papaya salad), and moo ping aka pork skewers (tender and tasty).
I love to eat Thai spicy and fish sauce but they offer a range of spicy level to suit what you want. Thanks to Stu I always get my fix.
Absolutely love it - we’re becoming regulars.
Perfect spot to visit if you are looking for good Thai food in Coral Gables.
Very cute interior with a few floor tables and available folding cushions, makes you feel like you're in Thailand.
Started with most refreshing lemongrass tea.
E-Sarn pork sausages where the perfect appetizer, crispy and flavorful.
Ordered the Som Tom Tray to share, really enjoyed the papaya salad and the chicken wings.
And my favorite had to be the BBQ Pork Egg noodles with wontons. Every elements was fresh with the most complementing broth. A MUST-TRY!
Great authentic food and great service!
Will be back soon

Got noodle soup and chicken over rice delivered from here, food quality was great.
Amazing traditional Thai food!
Exelente comida OMG 100 puntos volveré
Fantastic flavors and fun spot to visit.
KS was super good.
With an easy going atmosphere KS has character and delivers good food.
We ordered chive dumplings which came with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce and also the Tom kha shrimp soup which was tangy and very fresh.
Cashew chicken was very good as was the chicken fried rice... both fresh and very tasty.
The item that to me was best ... was the Duck basil.
Duck basil was aromatic, tangy, spicy, sweet and overall..... Delicious!
The duck was cooked nicely... soft and juicy while the skin was crispy and gave lots of texture to the dish. The basil sauce is fragrant and fresh. Very good dish.
Service was on point, attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance is casual and prices are affordable. I
Will gladly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.
