Amazing Thai and sushi restaurant.

The atmosphere is very cozy and feels authentic. I've never been to Thailand so I can't say but I love it.

The service was very friendly and quick. It was very inviting. They allowed us to customize our sushi as well which was great.

The onion soup was super tasty. The ginger salad excellent.

The sushi was fresh made to order and was extremely delicious. The roll made with thin sliced of cucumber instead of rice paper or rice was my favorite.

Definitely will return and I recommend you visit as well!!

A group of us ate lunch here on a Sunday and everyone loved their food - Pad Thai, Garlic/Black Pepper Chicken, Chicken Drunken Noodles, Chicken satay, Pad Woon Sen clear noodles, and tuna roll wrapped in cucumber (vs seaweed/rice). I prefer medium spice - if you don’t let them know, the default is no spice (unless a dish is premarked as spicy). If you are vegetarian, there are a lot of great options. The staff are attentive, kind, and helpful if you are unsure what you want. This place is located by Einstein Bagels. We plan to return very soon!

Best Thai food in the area! Love the Broccoli Squid and my better half loves their shrimp drunken noodles dish. Their beer is "pricey", however.

This place was my favorite place to come to have Thai food and had a craving for Thai food. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and seafood tomorrow yum soup.

I was so disappointed! They must have changed the chef or ownership. The flavor and quantity of the food just went downhill. The pad Thai has five small shrimp and the noodles were so dry. I could not enjoy it. The Tom yum was so salty and I couldn’t eat it. They have become a little more expensive for what you get.

I used to look forward to coming to this place but I don’t think I will be coming back.

Sunday lunch after church. The usual four of us. Right in and seated. Ordered Spring Rolls to share. My wife ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, granddaughter chose a Thai Chicken Breast. I cautiously picked the Crispy Duck. I had Peking Duck in China and was disappointed because it was oily. My daughter would share our meals.

Spring rolls with a peanut sauce and were crispy, hot and delicious. Shortly our meals came. The Pineapple Fried Rice was very yummy. The Chicken Breast was yummy. The Crispy Duck was phenomenal! I was very happy with it, as was everyone else. Only issue was I asked for Thai Hot (L3) but it was more L1. I guess they are afraid to up the heat until they know you. I'm sure many people have ordered hot and it was too hot.

Meal was great, food was terrific, service very good. Now I have a new favorite item!

Stopped by Ban Thai after church with my daughter and granddaughter. We all love Thai food and two spicy, one mild. I had been here in the past and really enjoyed it.

We were seated right away and brought water and menus. My daughter and I both ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken special, Thai hot, and granddaughter ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken.

Chicken & rice broth, hot and with plenty chicken, was brought first. This was followed by hot Spring Rolls with a nice dipping sauce.

Our meals came. Granddaughter loved hers, maybe skipped a few veggies, she is 11. Our Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious, with a nice heat and cool pineapple pieces. Yum!

And of course the ladies had to try the Deep Fried Cheesecake. They loved it! Although my granddaughter preferred the crunch outside.

Beautiful place, relaxing and a good value for the amount of food you get.

Called for take out and asked for chow main nudles...they said they only have ramen...so I took that with chicken and egg rolls...got 4 egg rolls came out ok not great but the Ramen tasted like the 49 cent from Walmart with added 2 carrots for 20$ all together

I had carryout, ordered pad thai was very disappointed! Noodles were mushy, no lime, no cilantro, no scallions or sprouts.
Shrimp like rubber.

Pleasant dinner at one of our favorite places. Amazing Beef, Chicken Panang, Shrimp Bean Thread and Steamed Dumplings were enjoyed by all. Friendly kind staff served our dinners. Looking forward to next time.

Hopefully they just had a bad night ! Hosteess not friendly , waiter acting as he didn’t want to be there ! The Wine was old , spring rolls were so oily it dripped off them, had 9 small pieces of chicken in the dish an the duck was absolutely horrible we won’t be back .Had dinner there once before an it was very good like I said hopefully they had a bad night ! Next

Arrived about 10 minutes till 3pm. Sat quickly as they were not busy. Hostess asked if we wanted lunch or dinner menu. We chose lunch but was rushed, saying that lunch ended at 3pm. Hostess was really rushing us to take our order. Then, she leaves the restaurant after entering our order in the kitchen. Apparently, she had somewhere else to be. The food was decent (overpriced in my opinion for what we received) but would not recommend due to the service that was given.

Great traditional Thai food with a great atmosphere and service, would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere & decor takes you away to a place in Thailand. I only got dumplings, and they were soo delicious. I will be going back for the full experience.

The lunch portions are small and the chicken was dry, will not go back.

I got take out for myself and a co-worker. I was craving drunken noodle and was highly disappointed. The worst DN dish I have ever had! I would not recommend nor return based off of that experience with that dish.

I drive from belleair beach all the way to eat at this place I am very particular about Thai food restaurants it's very clean. The older waitress always waits on them and she's great.

I was going for lunch on my Break and it used to be really nice. However I went to Dinner with my Girlfriend and the Staff was totally rude and the Girl Server with red hair was absolutely mean very disrespectful. we are Customers and we need to be treated respectfully and we are very respectful as well. I will never return to this restaurant. There are way to many restaurants to choose from. Don’t need to spend my money and be treated disrespectful. All we ask for was some hot sauce. The red head server was terrible!!! We will Never come back again. Take care!! Read all the bad reviews.

Terrible food! The sushi was absolutely garbage. I got a sushi plate for $25 with fish that was paper thin. The staff was extremely unfriendly when I sent the food back. They walked around and laughed. I would not recommend this place.

Surprising and a great place

I’m not sure what is the standard of Thai food here, but the food here is way below standard.

I think the chef /cook alone can shut this business down of not changed. The food was flavorless, the curry was Sooooo sweet- like a dessert. I didn’t even bother commenting because it was beyond fixing. The pad kee mao was absolutely taste less.

My vegan food had chicken- which they changed.

The younger waitress had a blank stare and no smile the whole time we sat there. Became awkward being stared at .

The older lady was very sweet though she added iced tea when my son replied “ice” to her question of water with ice or no ice.

Overall, not the dining experience food wise and the mishaps I would ever care to return.

Fantastic food, I would recommend to all thai food lovers.

1st timers. Cool indoor vibe when you walk in. Our waitress wasn't a happy person. Summer rolls were huge, but mostly lettuce. Peanut dipping sauce was good. Tom Wow seafood soup was just ok. My friend was not crazy for the pineapple chicken fried rice.

Group of 4 went here for dinner and we ordered 4 different items and we really felt the food was not tasting like any other Thai. The veg rolls was not fried properly. The noodles came out dry. Definitely not to depend on the stars that are given here

I have gotten take out from this restaurant in the past and it was very good. I just got a lunch special of pad Thai with chicken and could not eat it. The chicken tasted off and the sauce was bland. My veggie egg rolls were good so at least my $18 lunch wasn't a total loss. Really disappointed in the local Thai food since Thai spice changed management as well.

I'm only familiar with takeaway food here, and we love it. They serve delicious sushi and Thai food. It's fast, excellent service, and reasonably priced.

I have spent a lot of money on this place and have rarely complained; but today I had a complaint about their dishes that was awful and they did absolutely nothing about it but tell me I was wrong lol. Ok.

Tried eating there for the first time since we moved to Safety Harbor and it did not disappoint. Walking in the front door the restaurant was nicely decorated and had lovely music. We were immediately greeted and were told we could choose wherever we wanted to sit. We chose to sit in a cute little booth covered with a canopy of beautiful shiny gold material. The staff were super friendly and attentive. There was so much food to choose from! From sushi to Thai food it was hard to decide what to try first but we ended up choosing the pineapple fried rice and Panang Beef with a Florida Roll on the side. Amazing food!! They also had $5 glasses of wine for Happy Hour from 3-6p along with $5 Sake. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. They also do a busy take out service but I would recommend eating there for a great atmosphere.

I recently ate at Ban Thai for lunch. Shortly after I ate there, I sustained a severe stomach ache and diarrhea. I believe it was caused by the food. It was right after they first opened. When the food got to my table (I had cashew chicken), it was not hot. I believe the food served by Ban Thai was not thoroughly cooked and caused minor food poisoning. 2 + 2 equals 4. I did not go to the doctor or hospital and my sickness went away after about 4 hours. I have no allergies and a good digestive system. I will not go there again.

Beef and broccoli with the dumplings are my go to here, delicious every time.

Prompt service, was seated instantly on a busy Christmas evening. Thai Chili Siam was impeccable. Fresh rolls and egg rolls had all homemade sauces. Fantastic establishment, will be returning absolutely.

A nice selection on the menu. The food was great. The servers dress in their traditional attire, and the interior decorations add to the ambiance.

People we've eaten here more times than I ca ever remember but this week alone we've been here twice and both times we've come with large groups.
The staff here is above great and the food is excellent!

I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years. I ordered 2 sushi rolls last night Mexican and Tampa roll. I got home and to my disappointment the rolls were old and very dry. I called and expressed my disappointment. I went back to the restaurant today and was told since you are the roll they will replace the few pieces I returned. The young girl was abrupt rude and treated me like I was in the wrong. I WILL NEVER go back. Find another place for sushi and Thai food as I have never been more disappointed or upset by her actions.

Always great food and service

Great Thai food. Hard to find good pad thai around here but this place puts some love into it. The sushi interestingly enough has some rolls and nigiri you don't find elsewhere. The one thing that sucks is they don't take Amex.

They have good lunch specials. I normally get the Panang Chicken but this time I got the Crispy Duck. It was really good and it came with a cup of soup.

Came to this restaurant for late lunch. Cost was around $73 with tip for the two people drinking bottled water. Maybe I was just unlucky with the menu choices but I specifically said I cannot have sugar in my sauce and asked not to put the sauce in my sushi and they did but then put a bunch of sugar sauce in my pad Thai, which made it completely un eatable.. it was supposed the shrimp and chicken pad. Thai with scallions, peanuts and mushrooms for which I paid extra they put the regular grocery store champignon mushrooms not even the Chinese mushrooms +A bunch of sugary sauce and made it tastes like syrup, pancakes. I did not find any shrimp or crushed peanuts no matter how hard I looked. I did find a little bit of chicken and some egg the scallions I had to ask for, and they brought some very old dry scallions for me there were also supposed to be crushed peanuts I think they were completely forgotten as I didn’t find any of those either. I really hope they would be more considerate about peoples health and safety and not put so much sugar into everything and maybe add fresh scallions, and cilantro and shrimp to the dishes as advertised 🙏 on the positive note some of our friends really liked this restaurant and think it’s a great tile restaurant so please check it out for yourself and remember to ask the chef no sugar you’re not having a chocolate sundae; you’re just trying to eat normal food.

So my family and I went there a few weeks ago and the next day our debit card was used
As a credit I'm four different places in Japan & CHINA, BEIJING’s Plane first class SEATS tickets ANS 5 STARS HOTELS, for almost 10, others from the most elite American and Italian brands bought online and shipped to CHINA for thousand and thousands of bucks. This was the first time that this happened and this too much of a coincidence that those charges were made in CHINA & Japan right the day after we just ate at the restaurant. Huge inconvenient to so we had to call the bank reversed all the fraudulent charges to obtain the money back. This owner and employee will STEAL UR IDENTITY, DEBIT and CREDIT CARDS INFOS. BEWARE AND FOOD WAS NASTY AND WORST EVER IN ANYWAYS PLS PLS FELLOW CITIZENS RUN AND DO NOT EVER GO THERE. CHINA HATES USA 🇺🇸

4.5 hardly reflects our experience. Two minutes after ordering, we were served our ... barely warm and bland food. Clearly, the food was not prepared then and there OK, maybe there but certainly not then. Nice environment. Good relaxing music. Terrible food. Small portions. Interestingly, our server was a Caucasian woman dressed up in traditional "pan-Eastern" garb. Water was served in plastic DrPepper cups. Cameras throughout, inside and outside. Shen Yun sticker on the store window. Nothing made sense here. Left confused. The food is not cheap either.

Always a lovely meal, great sushi, and wonderful staff. Plus, the restaurant is just beautifully decorated.

Hidden gem. My favorite sushi and Thai place in Clearwater. Authentic all around. Staff and food and music is A+. Large parking lot that’s east to get in and out of.

If you enjoy Thai food in a cozy atmosphere, this is your place. Service is always quick and the food is great.

I recommend lunch time if you can, as well as the Thai Tea or Thai Iced Coffee.

This place is very good! I only go during week day lunchtime because dinner is twice the price for what seems to be the same portion. Chicken cashew is my favorite!

First time here didn't care for the food at all. Had the chicken and rice soup it was okay. The garlic and black pepper chicken was awful, you couldn't tell there was garlic in the sauce at all and he sauce was bland and whatever flavor it did have was horrible.

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had. Practically had to beg for chopstick, straws and the bill.
Server made a mistake and brought an extra soup that came with meal and tried taking it away after we already had taken a few spoonfuls.
Poor attitudes on both servers. Looked like neither one wanted to be there.
Won’t be returning.

You could tell the food was fresh and amazing. The sushi was really good and my soup was great, the fish quality and the quality of everything was really high. They also have a wide variety of foods, which was good for me because I am a very picky eater. The service was pretty good, the waitress was nice. all the decorations made that place look gorgeous, I loved the things over the seats and how big the place was. There were statues everywhere and beautiful plants outside, this place truly looks authentic.

Great sushi

Not what it used to be. Have frequented for 10+ years. New owners have taken it down. Sushi did not have a good taste. Don’t take AMX any more. Will be looking for a new go to spot.

Haven't been in Florida lately but just returned and wanted some Thai food.
The restaurant is in the corner of a strip mall but, once you're inside the decor makes you feel like you're in Thailand. Wide selection on the menu and a separate menu for sushi which I didn't try this visit. Lots of parking reasonable prices.

Amazing place to get sushi and they're soups are incredible. There's so much more than just sushi to chose from as well, you get handed an entire binder of foods to choose from and everything looks amazing. Staff is very kind and patient. It's an amazing place to go for a nice date

It's a small portion for an expensive price. I've been to other thai restaurants and in fact, I've been to 🇹🇭 more than once. This restaurant is for people who never been to any thai restaurants.

I tried calling to get the lunch special for takeout at 2:35 pm and the line was busy. I continuously called over 30 times and decided to drive there arriving at 3:05 PM explaining to the lady that I wanted the lunch special and she said lunch was over & could only get the dinner. So I decided to sit down and try their food and ordered the eggrolls. They were extremely greasy and the duck sauce was watered down. I also ordered the shrimp pad Thai, which was flavorless. My bill came to $24.15 and I gave her $25 cash and she asked if I wanted the change back? I will never go here again nor recommend this place!

Great Thai food! They have a really cool and interesting ambiance here as well; the place is decorated in a very interesting Thai sort of way and it made the atmosphere really fun. I had a great time and the food (while pretty much being your typical Thai fair) was good and relatively good value too. There certainly seems to be a fair amount of Thai restaurant competition around town but this stands out with its nice decorations and value.

Rainbow roll was fresh and delicious! Unagi, yellow tail, ikura we’re all good. Salmon roe was overly chilled in the opinion of my companion. Inside decorations were cool!

The soup with shrimp I just got was not good, the duck was not good. Very disappointed. The salmon roll is good

Changed spelling of name and quality at the same time.
Watery vegetable panang curry. With a hair.
Rice noodles with snow peas. noodles stuck together. no egg though that was a main ingredient of the dish.

Excellent place. Sushi was delicious along with the dumplings and chicken fried rice.

This place is a gem in the pinellas tampa bay area. Really loved the food it was traditional and absolutely delicious. Huge portions lovely services I will come back!

Great place to go for a date. Sushi is delicious 👌. Lobster Roll is my favorite. If you are looking for somewhere to go for a business lunch however this is not the place. They have no WiFi.

The worst customer service. Did order on the phone and ordered Rock an roll with shrimps, but got buc an roll and they told me that it was my mistake for not making sure that we ordered rock an roll but not buc an roll. They told me that i can come back and take rock and roll but the time was 9:15 and they close at 9:30 and i was 30 mins away. The manager told me it is my problem.

Menu had lots of options, staff was friendly, and prices fair. Will defiantly come back.

This is one of the worst Thai restaurants I've ever been to I ordered a cashew beef for lunch and the food was subpar tasteless and bland and the meat was not of quality in any way. Also the egg roll was not fresh obviously was cooked beforehand I complained to the lady about these problems. And she literally told me was!!! your egg roll was free! Incredible so you get an egg roll with your food / lunch and that is there excuse why it sucked. I will never come back.... And I highly suggest for anyone not to go here. I own two businesses and I'm a very busy man with employees on a job site. This lady told me she could not do anything for me unless I brought the food back. In other words she didn't trust me thought I was just trying to get a free dinner ridiculous. By the time I would pull off my job site and go back over there to get another meal which I am very leery of I would have to leave my employees on my job site and it would cost me probably around 50 to $100 I tried to explain that to her but she would have none of it so here we are on Google giving her a very bad review not everybody is trying to get a free meal some people are great customers that just want good food and when they get treated like this they will never come back this business will never be a success that's a fact with her attitude. One out of 10 I would give this place a one and a half star rating terrible.

This is not a 4.5+ restaurant. Middling at best. No taste or spices The tofu was spoiled in my dish. Wife didn't like the grouper at all. Waste of money
