My husband's parents recommended this bistro to us. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. 4 out of 5 stars because it was a bit warm. The service was friendly, warm, and professional. We started with a chicken taco appetizer. It was flavorful and delicious. I had mango juice to drink and it tasted sweet and fresh. For our main courses I had medium spicy pad Thai, and my husband had medium spicy beef curry sticky rice. Both our meals were fantastic! I'm glad I only went for medium spicy, though I love spicy food, this was just right. Hot enough to make me sweat a little. I can't wait to return and try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Everything about this place was top-notch. It was my first time trying Thai food, and the server, I don't remember her name, was so sweet and took the time to really explain the dishes to me, what was in them (my boyfriend is Vegan so it was really important to know this) and she specifically asked if there were diet restrictions such as vegan or vegetarian. She told us her inspiration for some of the dishes and she talked about the food with passion and I really felt it was like my mom cooking me dinner with love. Definitely somewhere you should try! Food was delicious and I will definitely go back!

Our party of four ordered two salads and two curries, I believe, and all commented favorably on the taste, preparation, and even presentation. The space is small, but it seemed odd that our seating, ordering, and serving were all accomplished by a young man who seemed to be the only front end employee. The decor is "strip mall bare" if there is such a thing. But as noted, the good food at reasonable prices made up for it.

Everything was amazing here. Went tonight with my cousin and the food was wonderful. Servings were big and very flavorful. Service was good. They were pretty busy with take out orders and orders in the restaurant. The crispy duck was the best duck I've ever had and I will definitely be getting it again. Can't wait for the monthly specials to start up. This place is a must try for Thai.

I've been coming here for years and years. I've stuck with you when you raised all your prices, because your food is better than others. But I just paid $25 for a fresh roll and Nam sod. Both were not even worth eating! What happened?

The best Thai food in Bradenton. Every dish is so comforting and delicious. It’s always hot and fresh when I do takeout. My husband loves their drunken noodles and I love their pad Thai. The amount you get totally fits the price tag. I almost always have leftovers for lunch the next day! This place just gets better with time. 10/10

The Food here is terrific - FIVE STARS! The pork belly, Wow! It is FABULOUS here! So crunchy and meaty - I love it! Everything here is very much a Yummy Yummy experience! I plan on trying many other things from their menu, because I know that the norm here is going to hit me with new flavors and textures. Finding new tastes to enjoy is what I love about dining out. I can see how you won the awards, everything I have had is tasty, even when the texture or preparation was unfamiliar to me.

Service is well above average, tables are attended to very well by the staff, and always with a smile. Better than a 4, so a 4+ is in order here.

Atmosphere is nice, clean, well setup. The mirror on the wall in front of the kitchen area makes it look like there is a large "Opening" that you can see into when you are sitting in the booths opposite it. I thought it was an "Opening" for awhile, until noticing how people that entered and were walking towards the "Opening" never showed up in the "Opening". This little visual trick made me kinda disoriented for a second when I finally started to see the realityof it. Nice job on the placement there!

Listen. Not only is this the best Thai in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, this is the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere and that includes Thailand. I fly in and this is the first place I go. Try the lava fish, massaman curry, but honestly everything has been delicious. Ginger tea omg. So friendly too.

The food is prepared with great care. You can tell, because everything we ordered was super delicious!! The owners came out and talked to us like old friends. You can tell how much they enjoyed putting out the best for people to enjoy. We are happy to find great places to eat when we don't want to cook and find places where they care so much about customers' satisfaction. We will be back when we are in the area.

Had lunch this afternoon at Siam Thai. It was excellent. It is the only place I have ever been to have authentic Thai Mango stickie rice. My new favorite place to eat.

Visiting from Texas a lot of food in Florida is bad, this was a huge exception. The pineapple curry was AMAZING

If I was forced to say a negative, the only thing I would say was it was a little warm inside but we did get there right as they opened for dinner and it got cooler while we were there.

First of all, all the food was great! Most importantly I don’t know who the server was but she was running the whole show. One of the friendliest, kindest, most helpful person. She made it feel like you were eating with family. Explained everything, gave you options, made it a really personal dining experience for just “going to get Thai food.” I love exploring food and she made me feel comfortable to ask things like, what kind of sauce would you personally make to dip this crispy duck in? I like spicy, she made sure it was as hot as I could handle and brought out a whole tray of oils and spices and explained how each one could elevate different aspects of my dish to my personal liking. Amazing!

Had two exceptional dishes at Siam Thai today. Every ingredient in my Tom Yum soup was as fresh as can be. Crisp, fresh, clean. So good. Also ordered Massaman curry. Fragrant and delicious. Very fresh tasting vegetables. Crisp. Definitely fresh. Server brought out a cart of additional spices that could be added to the dishes. All were great. Friendly servers, clean and stylish atmosphere. A 10 out of 10 experience. Loved this restaurant.

Had the Chicken Pad Thai and it was really good. Really great service and would recommend if you want Thai food!

First time eating here, and the owner was so gracious. I tried a dish I had never had before and loved it. Had all of the typical Thai favorites on the menu, but the chefs specialties were pleasantly different. My daughter enjoyed her soup. She loves the crunchy bean sprouts on top. My husband had the drunken noodles, and well, I'd love to tell you how they were but he didn't share and inhaled them. Ohh, and we had the crab rangoons, and they were so good. They had a hint of curry in them and were delicious

Quaint restaurant and location. There is not much interior decorating to speak of, but the service was prompt, and the people are nice. Decently priced and a nice size portions. Went for dinner a bit closer to closing time, and it was not busy, and we were not rushed.

Was disappointed with one of the noodle dishes. The description said egg noodles but it clearly came from an instant ramen packet and then was stir fried. Wish I took a picture. My wife had the pad Thai and liked it a lot. My toddler had a serving of fried rice, which he liked. I thought it was bland. Pricing was fair on their lunch menu.

I have been to multiple Thai restaurants in the Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood ranch areas and this by far is THE best Thai food. Everything from the service to the portion size and the taste of the food is just amazing. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. I would bring anyone visiting from out of town. You will not be disappointed you stopped in here for food.

We are here tonight as a party of three people. Had the shrimp and vegetarian spring rolls - they were large and delicious. Homemade dipping sauces prepared in house. Vegetarian (fried tofu) pad wootsen was delicious. Pumpkin curry was a wonderfully tasty surprise. The pumpkin wasn’t mushy. Pad Thai shrimp was so well seasoned - hard to do right. Crispy pork belly with bamboo shoots was amazing. All of this with great service from the owner May. What a place! Will return

Tonight I went to pick up some soup for dinner because I wasn't feeling well and the person running the place made me some hot tea to go. She could tell I was sick and offered hot tea to help me feel better. This was so sweet of her to go out of her way! Not only was the service great, the soup was yummy and was just what I needed tonight.

I found this place by accident when I was in the shopping center for something else and I am so glad I found it. I am hesitant about some Thai food in the area, but this place is amazing. We ate inside, and it is cute and quaint with good service. The food is so good!!! We started with Satay and Chicken Fried Wontons, both were delicious. I had a Green Curry Chicken with Rice and my husband had something I can't pronounce by it was a yellow curry with noodles, both were equally amazing. We finished with the mango-sticky rice, which shouldn't be missed no matter how full you are. I told our waitress how good the food was and she sent the over to our table so I could tell her myself and she is so sweet! She is a true chef, not only is everything made from scratch but her presentation is beautiful. This is the best secret in Bradenton. Highly recommend and I can't wait to come back. My new favorite restaurant. A+++ Chef.

If you are eating Thai anywhere in Bradenton/ Palmetto besides here... what are you doing? They are super sweet and the food is amazing and authentic (they speak Thai). The restaurant is small but clean and nicely decorated. I've eaten here three times and love it more each time I come.

Walked in to place an order without knowing the establishment was closed. Some lady working in the kitchen yelled at me “we’re closed” with an attitude. I was fine with the business being closed but the yelling was a bit extreme. Based on that small interaction I’ll never eat here.

Easy to see why Siam Bistro was voted a Best of Bradenton People’s Choice winner. Started with the cold Thai Tea which has a deep creamy flavor. Ordered the lunch Massaman Curry with scallops. I was surprised to be served a vegetable soup and egg roll. I consider the homework of a good Thai restaurant to be fresh vegetables and was not disappointed here. The soup was light and fresh. The eggroll was hot, excellently crispy with a sweet dipping sauce. The curry scallops were tender accompanied by large, tender vegetables with a velvety sauce. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The food was very good and prices were reasonable. We picked it based on other reviews and not price. The crab Rangoon was so good and we had fried rice Thai basil with shrimp. This is a place we will return to for sure and try out some other options.

Went to this restaurant for a Thai fired rice with a Thai tea and the food was horrible, Thai tea tasted like melted sugar in a chilled water. wasted $23 for nothing. Oh yes! I decided to try the food because of the reviews I saw, and I think there is no reason I will come on here and leave a bad review if the food tasted Good. This is not my first time eating a Thai fired rice and a Thai tea so I know when the food is horrible. PLEASE DO BETTER. And even if the food cost $1, I think I should get the value of what I’m paying for.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff here are some really nice people, they treat you like family not a customer. The Food is some of the best. If you are looking for FRESH food that tastes GREAT you are at the right place. This is one of the few restaurants that I go into and try something new every time, and I am never disappointed! Tonight I had chicken stirfry with mixed vegetables with Thai tea to drink. The Thai tea is deliciously sweet!

My wife and have had two excellent dinners from Siam Thai - as good as of any of the wonderful meals we’ve eaten in Thailand. We particularly liked the fresh Vegetable Rolls and Massaman Chicken Curry. Don’t be put off by the location in an old Winn Dixie shopping center, this food is GREAT. A restaurant like this in Manhattan would have people lining up for a table.

Exceeded our expectations. The owner/manager takes great pride in the quality and unique twist on Thai sauces . The portions were generous, and veggies were not over cooked . Wonderful flavor , we got the drunken noodle and green curry with mixed seafood . Quick and excellent service !

We made a reservation as the inside seating is limited; probably around 8 tables, 4 people/table. From the moment we sat down, the owner, Mai*, greeted us instantly and got our drink order in while we decided on menu items.

Between three of us, we got fresh veggie thai rolls and fresh chicken thai rolls as apps. I was always there for the curry.. I've tried hundreds from various places and, although I've rarely been disappointed, I was just excited to enjoy a decent curry. I ended up ordering the Green Curry, but it was a tough choice because of the many options they had. The other two people in my group had stir fry; garlic & veggie.

The apps came quickly and were absolutely delicious and very refreshing. Definitely fresh ingredients. It took roughly 10 min for the rest of our food to come out, but Mai* and our server were diligently checking in on us, making sure we were comfortable and apologizing for the wait. We weren't at all concerned because we were chatting.

Our food came out and when I tell you the portions were perfect, I mean PERFECT. We all had leftovers. However, the leftover size was probably one more portion, and that was a problem for me because this was SO GOOD. I portioned mine out to last me two days because I honestly felt like I couldn't live without these flavors for long.

My curry was... sublime. Like I said, I've tried hundreds. HUNDREDS. And this beat the "best curry I've had" before by a long shot. I got medium heat and it was perfectly spicy. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Cooked, but still crunchy. The flavors were INTENSE. Like I felt like I could taste every spice and yet, because it was blended so well, it was just an overwhelming flavor, period. The rice was fragrant and paired so well with the curry. Mai* continued to come back to make sure we had enough rice. I literally savored each bite. Probably so often and loudly that the people around us were thinking "get over it". I couldn't.

I tried the stir fry and it was also incredibly flavorful, but I was hooked on my food.

Later, Mai came over and I just had to tell her how much I appreciated the curry. She said it was the first thing she learned how to cook while living in the US and told us her story. This is a family run business. She's fulfilled her dream of having a restaurant and, based on the consistent reviews, she's killing it. They all are.

I'll be continuously coming back here, sampling every curry they have.

So I guess, long story short, if you love Thai curry, this place is a must.

The Garlic Stir Fry, Pad Thai, and Yellow Curry were all amazing. I asked for 2 of the 3 meals to be hot instead of medium and it wasn't too spicy for me, but you could definitely tell the heat was there. It's more of a slow burn than a sudden fire in your mouth. Before each meal, I was served a different bowl of soup with a small spring roll and some sauce. Every soup was delicious and the spring roll was consistently fresh and crispy. I've had a lot of spring rolls that have tasted freezer burnt or old, but I don't expect I'll ever have a bad one from here.

The service is fantastic, everybody in the building is pleasant and hospitable and you're never left for too long, whether you're sitting down and finding what to order or if you're about to be on your way out. I'm looking forward to having more meals from here.

The food is really good, the restaurant itself is very basic. The prices are on the high end, in front of the restaurant experience I would call it overpriced. Takeout are the same prices as dine in which is absolutely overpriced.

Great little restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. The food was delicious and authentic Thai. I had Pad see Wen with shrimp. My cousin had Pad Thai with mixed seafood. This was lunch so appropriate portions. Also had fresh rolls packed with good crisp veggies served with peanut sauce. The sauces were delicious on both entrees. Thai tea topped the meal. They close between lunch and dinner. Looking at the dinner menu there was an extensive selection. Will have to come back. We have many good Thai restaurants in town but I think this is the best!

Wow!!! Best thai dish I have ever had. Crispy lava duck was a game changer. Absolutely amazing restaurant with incredible service and food in an unassuming setting. We eat thai food once a week and even the kids were blown away.

First time there we ordered Lava Crispy Duck (crispy duck with garlic chili sauce) and Ginger Stir Fry. The garlic chili sauce is made from scratch and was so flavorful. The stir fry was the best ginger stir fry I have ever had. And the family who runs it is super friendly. This is now our "go to" for Thai in west Bradenton. We have been there three times in three weeks.

My new favorite place!

My first time coming to Siam Thai will definitely not be the last. Their lunch specials include an eggroll and a cup of soup (of the day) but I substituted for the tom yum soup. Very easy to sub in tofu for many items on the menu, a vegetarian's delight! I had never tried pineapple curry yet - this one was fantastic, with plenty of other veggies and protein accompanying it. There was enough curry for me to take it home and enjoy a second meal. Very pleased overall!

Didn't have what I wanted on the menu but the red curry with seafood was very tasty. Just wish they had more different kind of veggies instead of so much bamboo shoots.

My family ordered the pineapple fried rice, veggie egg rolls and chicken and rice soup and it was one on the best meals we have ever had tonight. Fresh, authentic, home cooked, unique and delicious. The quality of this restaurant is outstanding! I have had the lettuce wraps, pad Thai, curries and all are delicious. For lunch or dinner this place is five stars.

So happy we finally tried this awesome restaurant! The owner/chef took time to speak with us and make us feel totally welcomed while we enjoyed her unique and yet authentic dishes! We live blocks away and are close enough for pick-up of a different delicious soup every day!! Looking to be frequent guests here!

Everything was amazing here. Went tonight with my cousin and the food was wonderful. Servings were big and very flavorful. Service was good. They were pretty busy with take out orders and orders in the restaurant. The crispy duck was the best duck I've ever had and I will definitely be getting it again. Can't wait for the monthly specials to start up. This place is a must try for Thai.

May is so sweet and her food is delicious!! I can’t help but get the same thing every time and if you love curry this is the best place to go! My husband loves the Thai hot tacos, Thai hot curry and I love the yellow curry and curry Rangoon and my son loved her fried wontons. We just tried her Thai tea and we’re all obsessed! When we have friends or family visit this is the place we take them, we can’t enough of how great this place is. If you go visit May you won’t be disappointed!

I went with friends; none of us had been there before. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. For appetizers, we had fresh shrimp spring rolls and fried spring rolls. We all agreed they were delicious and we're especially fans I'd the peanut dipping sauce.

I had the drunken noodles with shrimp (medium spice) and it was excellent. Everyone in my party tried everyone else's dish. We all liked them. My friends ordered different dishes, all at the mild spice level. None of them loved their dish too much and thought them sweet. I tried there's and liked the flavor. The staff brought out dishes to add spice to the dishes so we could tailor them and I believe that helped the rest of the party enjoy their food more. Next time, I think they'll know to go up a spice level and that will help them. I'd definitely eat there again.

Absolutely my favorite place to eat! The staff is super friendly and knew us by sight by our third visit. They were not only able to adapt their menu to my food allergy, they were super enthusiastic to point out the huge amount of wheat free and milk free foods my family needed to stay safe. I cannot stress how good the food is, no matter what you eat. It is all super amazingly good. The owner is a chef and her dishes are not just Thai mainstay dishes but inventive combinations of the very best Cuisine of South east Asia! This has become my family's favorite place to eat and even after we move we will make the trip back to patron them. Amazing!

I had a truly wonderful meal and overall experience here. The owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure we knew that any dish could be modified to be vegan, to ensure we were satisfied, and were just generally friendly. They even packaged our leftovers! We can’t wait to come back next time we’re at the beach on Anna Maria Island. Thank you, thank you!

Pad Thai was the worst I ever had…taste was awful, dry and for $15 not even 2oz of chicken….omg awful!!!
