Love little places like this. Very limited seating in the dining room, but they are able to get us a table right away. Service was attentive and friendly, and the food came maybe a little too fast if that’s even possible. It was amazingly fast. Food was delicious and we left with the clean plate awards for the night.
We will certainly be back.

I am Thai and cannot recommend Charm Thai enough. We heard our friends rave about the restaurant and wanted to check it out. The place seats about 5 tables or no more than 15 people at a time. It is spotless clean and nicely decorated. Foods are fresh and tasty. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything exceeded our expectations. The tastes are like what you get in Thailand, not too sweet like most Thai places. One owner greets you and gets the orders, while the other one is a chef so you know the food quality and service will be top notch. We will back often!

My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago since Charm Thai took over the already great existing Thai restaurant in hopes it would be just as good. To our surprise it was just as good if not better! I will say they are much faster to prepare orders and the cleanliness and quality are still there..We have now been 3 times and each time its just wonderful. Here are some pics of our latest visits and meals..best curry I have had and I have been eating Thai curry dishes for 20 years! Oh, I almost forgot..they do have a wonderful Chinese dish "General Tso Chicken" best I have ever had and they explained they wanted it on the menu for those that may not be familiar with Thai food (a must try) Great job guys!

We came across this Charm Thai restaurant on the way to Anna Maria. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy. We ordered wonton soup( the broth was very tasty), dumplings, beef noodle soup and mango sticky-rice( it was very good, highly recommend if you like mango) Overall, we love the food and service here. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Unfortunately the food quality has declined so dramatically since Charm first opened. The Drunken noodles were dry, sticking together, and did not have any flavor. The curry looked and tasted like it had been cooking for more than a day. It had very little sauce and the vegetables/meat were sitting on top of the sauce like they were added at the last minute. Very disappointing and not all worth the price.

Really good Thai food in a casual spot.

The food was fantastic but I wanted to leave the review to shout out Ying! Not only was her service great but I had told her that my fiance and I will be honeymooning in Thailand. She gave me a lot of advice and places to go and I really appreciated her! The food is great, the service is better!

Very small mostly carry out place with just 4 tables but amazing food. I went late so there was a table open. Had the red curry chicken which was as good as I have ever had. Excellent service also. Highly recommended.

Charm Thai is definitely a beautiful gem. The food made me fall in love with Thai food😍🥲. The music, atmosphere, FOOD of course and the service was absolutely amazing! The owner serviced everyone sitting and all the pick ups all by herself while keeping the great hospitality with a smile while getting hot food in a great timely manner. My fav Thai place ❤️❤️❤️

Such a cute and delicious place! I would only dine in with a group of 4 or less because of table space, but the atmosphere is clean and tasteful. Talked to the owner and she was so kind. The food had great flavor. The best dumplings I’ve had. I also had the basil noodles which were amazing.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The hospitality is so warm and genuine. The food is fresh and the flavors are incredible. We haven’t had REALLY good Thai since leaving NYC in 2014 and the peanut sauce was the best we have had since being in the USA. We live on Siesta Key but this will be our go to Thai place.

Ying is fantastic and the food is absolutely amazing! We try to go at least once each week. It's where we go for Thai comfort food. Their Rangoon can't be beat. My husband always orders the Pork Pad Thai. I tend to move around the menu a bit. If you are in the area, don't miss this special gem in our great neighborhood!

The food was INCREDIBLE. The service was impeccable, the food was jaw dropping. I have not had a meal that blew my mind like this, in years. We got the steamed dumplings, fresh rolls, pad thai, and sesame chicken. The portions are perfect and the flavor is so prevalent. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend Charm Thai!!

A quaint restaurant in West Bradenton on Manatee Avenue that served the freshest Thai food I have ever had. We dropped in for an early dinner and we were delighted with the chicken Thai fried rice and Thai Basil chicken. Delicious and prepared to perfection, prices, serving sizes and flavor absolutely met and exceeded our expectations. Super friendly staff made for a great dinner and experience.

It’s rare to find a Thai restaurant in this area where hot and spicy is also savory. The flavors were amazing in both the yellow and red curry we had. Service was wonderful. This is a real gem of a restaurant that I highly recommend.

Im going to make you very jealous. I just had the best food in my life. Literally, the #1 and #2 dish in my life. I got general taos tofu, and mom got peanut sause chicken. The flavors were so deep, rich, and with a profound delicate balance of flavor. I couldn't even believe it while I was eating it. I got a little teary-eyed in the middle of eating it, thinking about how I'll likely never eat it again since I'm just visiting. The place is tiny with just 5 tables but you and do take out.

Very Nice... Very nice indeed. A great flavor, had the crab fried rice. Yes, it's real crab, probably blue claw. The flavor and aroma is indeniably good too! The Spring Rolls (small egg roll type) are excellent and the sweet chili dipping sauce is pleasntly sweet and barely spicy at all. Everyone should enjoy this, even the one's that think mayonaise is a spicy condiment. The smokey chili oil is GREAT (🤠👍🏽) and yes, it's HOT(🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️), not to crazy ( 🤯🥵), it's not ghost pepper hot(🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️), more like a habanero(🌶️🌶️🌶️) level. If a Jalapeno(🌶️🌶️) is too hot for you, don't try it, you'll regret it. For a semi-chili head, it's Hot(🌶️🌶️🌶️), but nice... Until the bitter(🤢🤮) kicks in, the peppers were NOT ripe when made. That's the undoing of most every pepper sauce for me. Why does everyone use GREEN / UNRIPE peppers(🤨😡🤬)? Do you not have a bitter taste reaction (a.k.a. my wife, eats baker's chocolate and says it's the best chocolate!), or do you just love the bitter taste? Anyway, enough about that. The Crab Rangoons were among the very best in Bradenton, so 👍🏽 on that. Also had two other dishes at the table, and both patrons also had 😁 big smiles about the taste. So 🤌🏽🧑🏽‍🍳👌🏽 to the chef working there! A very nice place to stop by for lunch or pickup. Everyone who picked up, had it JIT ready for them, so FRESH FRESH FRESH! Charm Thai is our new favorite restaurant! We go there once a week!!! AMAZING food and service. As noted in other reviews, Ying is a heavenly person, like a clear blue sky, always smiling, always ready to do whatever she can to make you happy in her sweet little restaurant. And boy can her mother cook! We ALWAYS get the papaya salad - such a healthy starter! We've tried red curry, green curry, massaman curry, larb gai, and the beef salad. Just tried mango with sticky rice for dessert, and I will now be taking that to go every time because it is so incredibly yummy, but I never have room for it right after dinner because portions there are ginormous! LOVE LOVE LOVE Charm Thai! Truly charming in every way possible.

Called in to place a to go order, the woman who took the order was very friendly. When I arrived to the restaurant, it was a very cute decorated place and smelled good right when I opened the door. She made the teas we ordered when I arrived which I really appreciated so they didn’t get watered down. We travel full time and try thai restaurants all over the country and you can always tell which places brew the specific tea that is perfect for Thai tea and Charm Thai has it. Our food and teas were delicious and we would highly recommend. We got the basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice both with chicken. You can see the heart that is put into the service and food here for sure. If we come back through this area we will definitely stop by again to try the pad thai next!

This is the best dining experience my boyfriend and I have had in months! We were hesitant to dine at the restaurant, since we thought it was take out only. We were pleasantly surprised by the quaint dine in space, authentic Thai food, and polite, prompt service. The food was incredible! So fresh and the flavors were so amazing on everything we tried. The combination of just the right amount of sweet, sour and spicy leave a craving of more to be desired from the entrées and appetizers. We finished our meal with the sticky rice mango dessert, it was so delicious. You must try this place! We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful and authentic Thai place . We stopped by on our way back from Anna Maria island . We had masaman curry which was delicious with generous veggies . 1 was good enough for 2 of us with extra rice. Would definitely recommend

Dined in 12/19/23. First there was no lunch special. Prices were high considering there was no soup or salad included and portions were not dinner size. The Pad Thai was good but the General Tso’s was all breading and very little chicken. Not like the previous owners. We were the only customers. One gentlemen left when they told him there was no special. We won’t be going back.

Omigosh finally, decent Thai food! Thank you!!! Try the satay - it's not that dried out sugary stuff you get everywhere else here. Curry was great. Larb gai was great. Gorgeous. This was our third trip.
I will admit that the stir fries are a disappointment. Very over-salted sauce and when I asked if they could make it with less salt I was told that the sauces are pre-made. Apparently those sauces come from a bottle. So personally I would stay away from the stir fries. But the green curry is especially fantastic, with a very attentive wait staff, and lovely people. I hope people support this local business. Also their health scores for cleanliness or fabulous which, given the scores of a few other local Thai restaurants, is a real relief.
I selfishly hope they don't expand... it's so nice and intimate now.

We were here on our last night of our vacation. Unfortunately it was our last night because we would have come more often if we had known about this wonderful place before. We were a party of 8. My husband and I from Germany and our friends from Michigan with their four sons.
The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, and in the small sitting area, a table was moved together for us. The lovely young owner was so nice and friendly. And we started ordering the perfect Thai ice tea and other drinks.
One after the other from our group checked out the restroom because the youngest said that Shawn, the sheep, was there. So it's worth taking a look. ;-)
Our eight ordered meals came after a short while, and each one of them was sooooooo delicious. Also, the desserts! It was some of the best Thai food I have had. And believe me, I have had a lot all over the world as I am working as a flight attendant.
It was a memorable last night of a vacation not only because the food was so perfect and the place so nice but also because a gentleman who we only spoke to briefly while he picked up his food, paid secretly for our whole dinner. When we wanted to pay, we were in awe on how something like that can really happen and not only in a movie. We are feeling very blessed! So thank you so much, whoever you are!!! You really gave us goosebumps and tears in our eyes. We will never forget that dinner at Charm Thai!

This place is wonderful! The service is fast and friendly and the food is incredible.

This place was recommended by a Thai friend. I usually stick to what I know, but I wanted something different. The owner is always welcoming and suggested a special. Beef or duck soup in a beef bone broth. I said surprise me. She brought the duck soup with 3 jars containing spicy pepper sauce, thai pepper sauce and a mango sauce to enhance the flavor of the soup. The duck was tender. The thin noodles were cooked just right. Perfect for the cold weather. The only thing I would change, is no cilantro next time. It took away from the other flavors.

We came across this Charm Thai restaurant on the way to Anna Maria. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy. We ordered wonton soup( the broth was very tasty), dumplings, beef noodle soup and mango sticky-rice( it was very good, highly recommend if you like mango) Overall, we love the food and service here. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

What a pleasant surprise. This is a small restaurant but with BIG taste! The dumplings were the best we have had. My wife ordered Pad Thai with shrimp. Excellent. I ordered Green Curry with Shrimp. Equally great! The service was ten stars and the speed of the food brought to our table was amazing! This place is small. Not for big groups. But there is always take-out!

My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago since Charm Thai took over the already great existing Thai restaurant in hopes it would be just as good. To our surprise it was just as good if not better! I will say they are much faster to prepare orders and the cleanliness and quality are still there..We have now been 3 times and each time its just wonderful. Here are some pics of our latest visits and meals..best curry I have had and I have been eating Thai curry dishes for 20 years! Oh, I almost forgot..they do have a wonderful Chinese dish "General Tso Chicken" best I have ever had and they explained they wanted it on the menu for those that may not be familiar with Thai food (a must try) Great job guys!

It appears this restaurant has changed hands the road sign has original name but storefront and menu have a new name.

The prices are moderate but the food was just mediocre, hopefully this is just a temporary condition and may need a revisit in a few months.

Hands down the BEST Thai food in Bradenton. I travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand a few times per year which is known as the culinary capital of Thai food - This is just like being there but here in Florida. I have been to just about every Thai restaurant in Bradenton but hands down the service , authentic taste, and ambience as you sit and eat made me feel like I was in Thailand once again. Ying has definitely brought the true taste of Thai cuisine to Bradenton. I will be coming back weekly now that I have found about this hidden Thai gem through the news paper.

Best Thai food we have had in Florida. Pad Thai was excellent. I had it with shrimp, which were large and cooked perfectly. The cashew nut dish was flavorful and high quality. This will be the place we go to for Thai. I can't wait to share this gem with others.

This is THE BEST and most authentic Thai cuisine in All of Florida! Our waitress was so very kind and helpful and very hard working to make sure everything was PERFECT! She made the atmosphere friendly and comfortable and the chef is brilliant! My favorite lunch and dinner! Tonight, my Panang Curry dinner was bliss!!! Thai Charm!!!

We love trying new restaurants and this one is really special. Tried the steamed pork dumplings, they are homemade and very good. Also had the chicken satay with peanut sauce and I can say that it was one of the best satays I’ve had! For dinner husband had the pineapple rice with chicken. He thought it tasted great and the chicken was very tender (as was the chicken in the satay. I had the duck noodle soup bowl which also was delicious. Next visit we will try a curry and the pad Thai. They will need a larger restaurant soon! Very good. I understand now why they have all 5 star reviews!

All I can say is WOW! Finally some magnificent Thai food. This is a hidden gem. Pad Thai and Red Curry were out of this world. Spring Rolls and Chicken Satay were delicious.

What a hidden gem! Amazing flavor with every dish we ordered. Owned by a mother / daughter from Thailand. The mother is the cook using her recipes, and the daughter is the waitress - and what truly genuine service especially with our 3 and 7 year old. I usually don’t get Pad Thai, but this one was amazing! Duck curry was also excellent. Only a few seats in the restaurant. This Thai food is definitely one to try!!

This was a gem of a find. We love Thai food, and this restaurant has the best! It is fresh, authentic and the mother and daughter who own it are wonderful. It is small, casual, attractive and super clean inside. Even though we have 2 other Thai restaurants closer to where we live, we go out of our way to eat at Charm Thai. It is truly a great place if you like Thai.

We loved this restaurant before it sold. We have literally followed the previous owner and her employees from place to place for more than 23 years and ate here for lunch and/or dinner two or three times every week. It was our local "go-to" spot. As a business owner I fully understand her selling the restaurant and we wish her the best. We have tried three times since she sold thinking over time it would improve as the new owners got settled in. Unfortunately that has not been the case. The food is not the same quality, the menu changed significantly, prices increased, and service is mediocre. I wish the new owners well, but we won't be returning.

We have had some really delicious dinners here in the past but, we were very disappointed with a take out order we got yesterday. I don't know if the owner has changed but the food was nothing like what we've had before. I had Pineapple fried rice, which I have had before, and it was unrecognizable. It was plain rice, canned pineapple chunks, onion, red pepper flakes and egg, no curry, raisins, bell pepper, cashews or green onions. My husband had the Pad Basil and said it tasted strongly of something like fennel instead of Thai basil, there were no bamboo shoots, or squash. There have been no updates to the website or facebook page for years so I don't know if the ownership changed recently, I can't imagine the previous owners putting out this food.

I was in town for a wedding (live out of state) and wanted Thai food for dinner. Googled Thai restaurants near me and most closed at 8:30, was almost 8 so went w/ this place bc open till 9. Unassuming on the outside, the restaurant's relatively small/ few tables and we were the only customers. The waitress attended to us immediately and was very polite & friendly. She brought out an attractive set of very tasty different oils/sauces for us to eat with our food. We ordered shrimp Pad Thai and crab fried rice. My bf raved over his food and I tried some and agree it was extremely delicious, beautifully seasoned, not greasy or salty, by far the best pad Thai I've ever tasted & makes me sad I don't live here :( Although my crab fried rice was very mildly seasoned, it was still tasty. It would've been nice with a little more crab meat, but that probably would've increased the price of the dish. I added some of the seasoning oils to it to spice it up a bit and I was very happy with my meal. For delicious Thai, decent prices and friendly, attentive service I highly recommend this restaurant!
