Komoon Thai Sushi & Ceviche opened its Pine Ridge, Naples location on November 1st, 2011, it’s second location in Bonita Springs on July 25th, 2013, and its newest location on Immokalee Rd in Naples in July 2016. Owners Saifon Sombun and Paul Adrianzen created the concept of offering a unique selection of the finest foods from Thailand, Japan and Peru. With an exceptional team of Sushi, Thai and Peruvian chefs, Komoon Thai Sushi & Ceviche is the only restaurant in the region where you can enjoy delicious cuisines from these countries.
If you’re looking for an authentic dining experience, Sushi and Thai is an absolute gem. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between traditional and modern, with thoughtfully curated decor that immerses you in the culture while maintaining a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
I had the delicious green curry with chicken. A very nice salad and eight salmon rolls. Service was excellent prices very reasonable. Been here many times.
Also delicious Thai iced tea!
Seems they recently remodeled and are trying to go for a tacky Thai look. The legs on the tables are constricting for getting in and out of the booths. That is my only downside to the place.
The other picture is a boat for three that my sister and brother-in-law shared with me!
My husband and I visited Komoon for the first time Saturday evening with 2 friends who had recommended this restaurant.
There were about 6 other tables / groups of people when my husband and I arrived at 7:23 pm. Our friends arrived slightly earlier and had already gotten a booth for us.
The menu is extensive and has a lot of variety.
When the first server took our order, we asked for a separate check for me and husband - both couples would pay separately.
I ordered green tea, miso soup, and chirashi. My husband ordered green tea, Coke with no ice, veggie roll with soy paper, and steak a la plancha. Our friend ordered green tea, curried duck, and appetizers of tuna tataki and naruto roll. Our friend's girlfriend ordered coconut sake and a Viper roll.
The appetizers arrived at 8:24pm, but the wait for the main dishes felt extremely long as they arrived about 20 minutes later at 8:41pm. This means that from when we got there to when we ate the main dishes, we waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes. This was unusual since most of the other customers already left by the time we received our food...
Anyway, the food itself was overall good. Minor details that could be improved: leaner NY strip steak without ligaments (we're from the northeast so we know what real strip steak quality is like and this was not it), octopus (tako) from the chirashi could be cut thinner for less rubberiness, drink order should be the correct amount as we received an extra order of Coke (that we paid for) but did not ask for. e're not in the habit of sending food or drinks back, so we just went with it.
To prevent this type of confusion, we recommend having 1 waitstaff assigned to a table instead of 3 servers that were taking our orders during our visit OR have a shared ordering system that shows the specific orders for each check. This caused the last server to separate the check AGAIN, which took another 5 or so minutes asking who ordered what. I'm just glad we all remembered our orders, and it was easy, though it felt like double work (for us) that we were paying them for. This issue is why they lost 2 stars from their service, though everything else was 5 stars.
As a side note, I did not use the restroom, but I was told by my husband that the men's room sink faucet was broken, so men were supposed to use "other one" according to the sign, but there was no other faucet except the women's restroom. There was also a bunch of Bruno Mars playing during our entire dinner, maybe someone is a fan? 🤷♀️
Other important and notable aspects about this restaurant: the place is relatively clean, booths are not sticky or greasy-feeling, menus are clean, and the raw food is fresh enough. I'd return here for the rolls, but not for the cooked food.
Food is standard quality and fair priced. Service is questionable depending on the day. I order here occasionally, and I’ve noticed you get different portions and containers depending on how you order. If you call, you get the cheap containers and smaller portions. Order through door dash and something is missing on delivery or larger on pickup. Weird. Good luck
I used to love ordering the Peruvian dishes at the Komoon in Bonita Springs. I placed a take order, and was very unhappy, but thought it was an one off. Order the following weak, it was worse. The food was cold, almost no meat and bad quality. I will miss the Peruvian food, but with this quality I can't order again
We have dined here several times prior and had good experiences but tonight was not one of them. Server was overwhelmed since she had to cover all the tables so service suffered but not totally her fault- mgmt issue. We had to wait a long time for food...a long time and once it arrived the pineapple fried rice (house specialty) was missing ingredients and tasted like it was cooked with old oil and super bland. We still ate it because we were hungry and our server never checked on us so when we told her she basically said- too late. Don't see us going back anytime soon which is too bad since we are local all year long. Don't recommend especially as it doesn't appear they respond to reviews to try to get better.
We order takeout. We ordered a red curry and a massaman curry. They only gave us one curry, which was watery with a couple of pieces of chicken which was shredded so barely chicken.
The sushi was subpar, the freshness was definitely questionable. The salad was forgotten and the Thai spring rolls while decent we were charged for when it was supposed to be a buy one get one free.
I would not go here.
We’ve been coming here for years. The food is very good but the wait time is unbearable. Even when they’re not busy. If you order takeout, if they say 35 minutes? Be prepared for a lot more.
Every single time 🙄
Good food. Love the poke bowls.

This place didnt give me a good vibe on multible levels. Knowing Thai and Burmese food very well these dishes were overpriced and not even worth ever trying to go back for. Even tho our condo is next door and our favorite food is thai and burmese we will not be Going back and would not tell any1 we encounter to go either. I didnt feel very welcomed instantly walking in the door and that is a serious red flag for me.

Delicious lunch time specials, incredibly friendly service! We loved our visit. The Panang curry is very tasty.
The smudged oil from spring rolls were dark brown. I assume they don’t change their oil. the beef tasted near spoiled, and the ingredients weren’t fresh. I overheard the manager yelling at employees very disrespectfully. saw cockroaches. Very slow service almost an hour to get the food

Super yummy and great quality
Great location with plenty of parking. Cosi atmosphere and very clean. The menu features lots of Peruvian and Thai dishes. My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Food is excellent

Worse delivery I've ever experienced... foot 129 dollars there was no soy or washbi... food to cold to eat.. still frozen... never again
Lo peor que he comido en mi vida , estaba feisimo
Pedi arroz chaufa vegano y me mandaein con salchicha que no tiene nada que ver . Horribleeeeee
Nasty food.

broad menu. Not just sushi, not just Thai, they have great Peruvian dishes and curries as well.
Last time my sushi roll (either happy roll or salmon roll) had bones in it. :(
Went here for a couple times my waitress has been lovely and taken good care of me.
The sushi has been good and so has the drunken noodles
The food is always good. We were a little disappointed as the sushi bar was not open. When we went in, but we understand stuff happens
Great food
An amazing variety of items on the menu. Everything was delicious and fresh. Staff was attentive, friendly and great at guiding us through unfamiliar menu choices. Highly recommend.
I loved the pad Thai and ceviche
Ill definitely come back for the sushi
And the service was great
Definitely a good place to share with family. My kids were more than happy with the delicious Thai ice tea.
Great food super tasty.
I have been coming here for years. I love Thai food here . Peruvian is best in town. As well as Sushi love it all.
Que rica comida se la recomiendo 100%
I am treated very well there I ate their regularly and the service is great the food is good
I can only speak for the dish I ordered which was the drunken noodles ( my go to dish at every Thai restaurant!). But if a most popular dish is this awful I can only imagine how terrible the rest of the menu must be! Ordered food from Uber eats and when it arrived it was literally the driest drunken noodles I’ve ever eaten. There was so little sauce to start with that all of the noodles solidified together as one big lump of gelatinous mess before it arrived. I was unable to separate the noodles with the disposable fork they sent. When I was able to finally pull apart the noodles with my fingers I found that this dish was not only dry but had little to no flavor at all. I frequent Thai restaurants around the entire United States when traveling with work and this is by far the worst I’ve ever put in my mouth!
Best fresh sushi and the cutest place ever!!
I've never had a problem here before but today i ordered a tuna poke bowl online and after picking it up noticed it was missing 2 of the ingredients: edamame and avocado. It also had other ingredients that are not usually on the tuna poke bowl which could’ve caused an issue for someone with an allergy. I called and they basically said sorry there's nothing i can do but let the chef know. They did not offer to prepare is correctly if I was willing to come back nor did they offer any partial refund or anything. Very disappointed with this!
Very cute place for a date and the sushi is amazing. The regular spicy tuna roll is a basic dish, yet theirs is the best I’ve had.
It is a very nice place to dine. I ordered Drunken Noodles, and it was good. I tried others, and this is one of the top 10.
Expensive compared to others.
It was our first time here and my husband got really sick from that hot tomatoe they make he order a fish and it was so gross and salty and I order a chicken saltado and I got really sick from it we was all night throwing up never again 👎
They’re not charging for water anymore. Lunch specials quantities are small, taste good but missing extras like kiefer lime leaves.,,
Bonita Springs location. Worst service ever. Wrong order, waitress then brought entrees before the papaya salads. We paid for our drinks & left prior to the order ever being corrected. Will not be back & will leave appropriate negative reviews on Google & Yelp warning others. Was passing thru the area & thought we would try it as the outside appeared to be fine & a corner business. Men's sink was overflowing on the floor in the restroom. Regards. Kathy & Larry
Used to love this place. This time service was slow and VERY inattentive...waitstaff was more interested in watching/cheering on a soccer game than helping customers. Food was very mediocre and bland.
Flagged our waiter down to let him know we were done and to add Thai donuts and a Mango with Sticky Rice to go to the bill. We waited another half hour after this for our bill and desserts to go.
When we got home we found the donuts undercooked and the sticky rice was hard and dried out- inedible (looked like it had been sitting for a couple days)... will never go back.
Food was mediocre service was horrible. Got to the place at 6 pm (only two other tables at the restaurant were taken) and we didn’t get our food till almost 720. It was just 4 of us and.

Delicious food 😋
Live music last night 🎶🎤
Excellent customer service 👏🏻
I went in with my son last night and ultimately left before they could even take our drink order. We stood at the host stand for about 5 minutes before anyone even looked at us. I kid you not, there was only 3 tables of people in the place and they could not manage to acknowledge us, make us feel welcome, or take our drink order. And it was very obvious they didn’t care too much. The only time we were acknowledged was when the owner noticed we were leaving.
I’ve always enjoyed this place but in recent years the quality has gone downhill tremendously.
I hope they find better staff.
Everytime I order curry from there it is made differently, sometimes good sometimes terrible. I’ll never get again after this last time.
The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Ordered thru Uber. Treated the Uber driver like trash, wouldn’t address them or give them the order, wasted all of our times. They are extremely rude, accepted the order but wouldn’t cancel and wouldn’t make it. Don’t ever waste your time. No one deserves to be treated like that.
I used to LOVE this place. I’m a local that has grown up here. This was my family & friend’s favorite place. The food is usually great. My boyfriend & I decided to go dine in since we usually do take out. We sat there for an hour and a half and received our order of edamame 45 minutes after we got there & it was cold. I had to flag my server down to ask for it to put heated up. We proceeded to wait over an hour for 3 sushi rolls. I asked him 3 times for a status of our food. I had to go stand outside of the kitchen door to flag him down and talk to him. My boyfriend went up a 4th time to ask about our sushi & he FINALLY said that they were completely out of salmon after all that time. We just left & ended up getting sushi from the publix next store and eating it in our car. Like i said in the beginning I usually LOVE this place. My favorite sushi in our area, but this was extremely upsetting & unprofessional. It will be a long time before i’m back, if ever. In the summer it’s usually better service but even then it’s never been great service.
One of the worst service experiences in my entire life. We waited well over an hour after ordering and still didn’t have most of our meal, which came out one at a time so we couldn’t even eat together. All we got from the incompetent wait staff was excuses. The food we got was mediocre anyway. Don’t waste your time or money - go anywhere else.
This might be the best Pad Thai I have had in SW Florida. Also the crab rangoon is very good, real crab.
Fish was inedible
Great service, they went above and beyond when I mistakenly ordered the wrong dish. They replaced it with what I had meant to order and it was DELICIOUS! And the ginger salad dressing deserves a special shout-out, it was so fresh and tasty!
We sat outside and while the ambience isn't anything super special, it was great to be in the fresh warm air after flying in from up north.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing music, and amazing vibes!!! Great for authentic Peruvian and Thai food 🫶🏼
great food and service.
good food , bad service
Came in to order to go order because they wouldn't answer the phone for over 30 minutes. When I got there there were only six tables total. I'm not sure how many servers were running around. Then we had to wait 25 minutes for our to go order. Never again.
Expensive sushi tried to make up for absentee staff and awkwardly empty environments.
Great Jalea and ceviche comb. The staff, Fresia in particular was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.
Just had dinner at Komoon. Had the Pad Thai and it’s always great. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing. Someone in my party ordered the Fish Ceviche, said It was extremely fishy and couldn’t eat It. Server brought It back to the kitchen and brought It back out, looking like we had offended them. Proceeded to charge us still for the ceviche even though It was almost an untouched plate and charged for the replacement dish, a pad Thai. Extremely disappointed and will not be coming back to this location. Still have high hopes for the Naples locations.
Great place. Good food (their curry is fantastic), good service, and decent prices. It's a regular in the rotation.
The food was great but the real star of the show was our server Fresia. We will be back because of her exceptional attention to detail. God bless America.
Perfect Fredis / service amazing and the food. Also the place got renovated and a loft atmosphere. I hope I see you so soon.
If you’re looking for great food and excellent service, stop in Komoon Bonita Springs and ask for Fresia; knowledgeable and friendly and always smiling!
Horrible. I used to come here frequently before the covid nonsense. I've seen less Hispanics in Mexican restaurants. pretty sad I need to explain cuts of sushi to the waitress (who looked like she just got out of lockdown). Never again...
good so fresh and healthy! delicious! staff so nice, décor beautiful!
I went to go eat here at Tuesday and The food was great but the service wasn’t as good
Inexcusable that an employee who has the authority to charge your credit card doesn't know how to print out a credit card receipt - and when he decides to "experiment" by tapping randomly on his screen, he "accidentally" adds in his own version of what your tip (for a takeout order) should be. Then, after calling my credit card company and verifying that I had been charged the higher amount, I drove back to the restaurant a second time to try to get their error straightened out. Different employee tells me he doesn't have the authority to refund the overcharge and I should "get it" from my credit card company - even when I'm showing him the overcharge on my phone. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told no manager there and given a bogus number in Miami. I called and a recording answered with the word "blackout". No one ever called me back. Not the first time one of their employees didn't know how to print out a credit card receipt. Hold on to your wallet if you still want to patronize this restaurant - or pay cash only - and check your receipts very carefully. They will give you a receipt that does not have your credit card number on it. Good luck trying to put that in dispute. Very dishonest.
Great welcome, great food, great service ...thank you
Good stuff
Komoon was fair for the price. Pad See-Ew (chicken, medium spice) flavors were okay (asked for more spice) & quality decent enough. Spring rolls were a bit too greasy to finish. The one 5-star aspect I would say was the service and attentiveness, but not quite enough to warrant our return. Thanks for letting us give it a try.
Ordered Mongolian beef with fried rice. I got home to find beef & broccoli, no fried rice & very little sauce with order of crab ragoon. I will not order again.
Service is not great. Food; mediocre.
Me and my wife's favorite restaurant. My favorite is the drunken noodles and my wife fills up on their fresh sushi 🍣
Very clean and friendly environment, Excellent food!
If I could give 0 stars I would. 18 dollars for fried rice and the worst spicy tuna I’ve ever had. You’d be better off going to Walmart and buying sushi
The most delicious sushi. Fresh, delicately prepared and enough as a portion. I loved it!
Cold beer was refreshing and miso soup was yummy
Went here randomly, had great friendly service and the poke bowl, sushi and drinks were all great.
Terrible sushi
Extremely slow but friendly service. Decent food but way overpriced for what you’re served. $4 for iced tea? Seriously?
Classy fusion restaurant for Thai, Japanese, and Peruvian. Didn't exactly fuse the dishes together, but more had all the choices in one menu. Ordered several dishes, but was stood out was the "Tom Yum" was sweet, tangy, spicy but a bit too salty. Same went for the ceviche, where the saltiness took away from the typical refreshing flavour
Absolutely one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to / total rip-off / would Never go back / it will be out of business soon the way they treat customers/ Ordered off the happy hour menu/ Waitress billed us for regular menu and argued We didn’t state happy hour when we ordered
Love this place! Grew at staff and food!
I came here with my boyfriend to eat for lunch, at first it was ok we got seated and ordered our drinks and food, the attention was very low but what took us over the top was the fact that we paid our bill and THE NEXT MORNING my boyfriend got a text that said that the amount we paid got updated from $80 to $95 ????? The waiter ended up adding $15 tip without our authorization. That is most definitely rude and credit card fraud. Do not come here unless u want to waste ur money. You can find a better restaurant trust me :)
Can't say enough about Komoon Thai Sushi & Ceviche. Whenever we're in the Bonita Springs/Naples area we always eat there. The food is great. Huge menu with so many options, it's hard to choose. Plus, the fact that they offer specialties from three different cultures. Might I suggest their Ceviche Mixto/Ceviche De Pescado. Excellante! Two locations in Naples and one in Bonita Springs. Open Monday-Friday 11:30 am to 10 pm, Sunday 12 pm to 10 pm. Eat in or take-out, order online.
This was awful. I had ordered the spicy salmon roll and it came out uncooked! Please fix your restaurant
Being off season and late (830, late for the area) We didn't lack in service or quality. our server, Alexandra, i think that was her name sorry girl, beautiful girl with a great personality from Guatemala kept us entertained + the sake flowing.... The food was fresh and excellent portions. My mom was visiting from out of town & not always easy to please (she is an excellent home cook) and she was very happy. I know we will be back. Thank you everyone for all you do, I am always happy to visit any of your locations.
Really tasty rolls!!!!🧡🧡🧡
Yum
Good service, soup, sushi.
Found this place while on vacation since I was craving sushi. The food was actually really good and fresh. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the lady that took care of us was either about to go home or didn’t want to work that day.
Showed up today at 12:40 door was locked. Staff noticed me but keep working. No sign on door mentioned any close. Hours says the open at 11.
I love this place, it’s my go-to lunch spot. Tirana is such an amazing server and makes the experience event better. If you’re indecisive she makes great suggestions. The sushi is always on point and they have a great lunch menu. The food is so yummy that I always start eating before I can remember to take a photo.
One of our favorite places in Bonita Springs. The food is always good, although the spice level can be inconsistent. Be prepared to be patient as service tends to be slow. The food is worth the wait.
Love their happy hour sushi
Horrible service, discourteous staff, soft drinks are never available as the machine is always broken, food is not fresh. Literally the worst sushi restaurant in the area for so many reasons.
Fun atmosphere but could use some attention to touch up painting! Service was ok, we got better service not from our server but the young man with the neck tattoos, he was great!! My friend ordered a noodle dish and loved it but skimpy on the meat and portion for the price. I had the sushi boat for one and was in heaven!! So fresh and great value!! We've dined there before and will go back!!
Food is great. Service is terrible.
Love the menu, pictures of everything! No liquor, only beer and wine. Went twice in one week!
Best sushi place and great lunch deals! I highly recommend this place 😊
Food is fresh and tasty and beautiful displayed dish..👍👍
Sushi is Delicious 🤤!! So many other options too and staff is nice. Fish is so fresh!
Service is TERRIBLE! Food is okay.
Great food and sushi some of the best I’ve had so far
I had the Mongolian beef stir fry lunch special. Very tasty, service was very good
Nice menu, good marketing, expansive choices. Maybe it’s the pandemic. Waiter was nice but clueless; had no idea what seafood was in my tri colored ceviches, even as he served them. Sakes on list were half sold out. Food, like the beef roll and ceviches was mostly bland and uninteresting. The 3 “different” ceviches for $27 all looked and tasted alike. Will try again next year.
Ordered 3 drinks, they had one of the 3. Ordered 3 sushi, they had two of the 3. Ordered two other items that never showed up.
The food we did receive wasn't anything special.
Server was very nice, but service was so slow. Maybe it was an off night? Not a good experience.
Food was delicious. All of the food my party ordered was very, very good. Service was slow, but that is normal in most places at this time. Waiter was very apologetic and tried his best to service all the tables in our area. I would revisit again.
Excellent food reasonably priced nice atmosphere friendly service.
An afternoon get together turned into a feast of many delights at this establishment.Service & food were fantastic.Orders were taken & extras nice finish with unexpected treats.Very clean & nice atmosphere.Would highly recommend this Bonita Springs gem.
Previous meals here were good.
Returned 12/13/2021. Very disappointed. Ordered the sushi boat and requested to not include shrimp or crab. It was brought with both. It was also served on the wood with no ice which was strange. Fish was slimy by the end of the meal. The servers seemed apologetic for the lack of effort in the meal that they served us. Eating warm Sashimi was less than appetizing. Why no ice as previous visits?
Beautiful fresh food and efficient kind staff to match! I enjoyed my soup and sushi so much! I also enjoyed the gentleman behind the sushi bar they were so personable! The lady who took my order was also on top of everything! I will be back thank you!!
My go to for Asian food!
Been here more times than I can count & never had a bad dish, bad service or any sort of problem, at all!
The food is delicious and eclectic, Peruvian, Japanese & Thai.
The Miso Soup is the best I've ever had!
Excellent place to eat and drink!
Great sushi rolls and soup.
Best lunch special in Bonita Springs!
Really, can it be any worse?
Came in, was given a table and placed my order.
Just as a back round, this place can't decide whether it is a Thai restaurant, a Sushi restaurant, or a Peruvian restaurant.
Make up your mind!
So I ordered a chicken curry dish. There were only two other tables occupied.
Twenty five minutes later I had to ask where was my food? Just coming they promised.
I got up and left. Just as bad as it comes. They never put my order in.
Our favorite Asian restaurant in the area. Been there several times and it's never disappointed. Our favorite is the Seafood Soup. With Covid service can be a bit slow, so plan on a leisurely meal
It’s clean and the food was ok. Staff was great!
Pros: clean, portions, staff!
Cons: inconsistent flavor.
We went for lunch. Miso soup and the salad were boasting with flavor. The pad Thai was underwhelming, chicken was dry, there was no flavor which is odd to me. I’ve not experienced this before at a restaurant. The spicy tuna sushi roll carried a flavor I will have to ask to discern. The food itself was fine to eat but the flavor was surely somewhere else.
I would consider trying again. Maybe it was an off day?
I have tried to order throught Uber eats , and this people cancelled me twice in a row! after they have me waiting fir like an hour for my food!, worst part is that they cancel your order without explanation at literally last minute!! Instead of simply not accepting your order since the beginning , and they won't even pick up the phone at all!! Really bad service!!
Food was great.
The food was a standard fair. I've had better. $3.50 for a glass of Jasmine iced tea was a bit much. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Unfortunately, I won't be back anytime soon.
This has always been my husbands and I favorite place to eat sushi but tonight we left the restaurant very upset.
We went there for our wedding anniversary as well as on our wedding night with our children, one of them threw up a little bit on the floor and the server saw what happened, my husband immediately got up and told her, she just looked and didn’t do anything. My husband ended up cleaning up the mess while the servers didn't seem to care that their customer has to clean, walking away shaking their head. I think the lack of customer service is ridiculous in this place, we spent $135 and still had to clean.
A small bowl of wonton soup costs $6... ridiculous.!!
Pretty good
Awesome place!
Very attentive, food was great! Highly recommend.
Nice people. Food quality is ok.
Very tasty sushi and Thai food. One of the best dish ever.... Crispy duck basil 🌿 is ‘a must’ to try!!!
Good food, good service
Tried to go here 20 mins before close for a take out order, they took the order of the woman in front of me ignored me will not be back to this location.
Sorry, but sushi we ordered wasn't great. We expected a bit better for the price.
