Thai country is our foods presentation to you. The way we eat and the way we cook is all original. You will enjoy the food as if you were living in Thailand.
We came in with reservations for Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was empty (just a few customers) when arrived. We received our waters pretty quick, however, it took a long time before someone came around to take our drink order.
I ordered a beer and my wife a glass of wine. When the wine arrived, my wife noticed that the glass had probably 2 1/2 ounces of wine in it. When someone else received their wine, the glass was filled like it should have been with 6 ounces of wine. 👎
We ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and after a long wait, they were served to us. The spring rolls were very good but my point here is the wait for the food when the restaurant had only a few patrons.
We ordered our main courses and as before with the appetizers, we waited a long time but there were more customers by this time. My wife ordered her entree with a level 3 spiciness and mine with a 1 level spiciness. We ordered three main entrees and none of them had any taste and my wife’s did not have any spice. It was not hot in the least.
We’ve been to both locations and the other location was polar opposite to this location. The other location had great service, great food and a very nice atmosphere.
We WILL NOT be returning to this location!!👎👎
This place is so good that we went for dinner on Friday and I woke up Saturday morning craving it! We had sushi, Tom kha seafood soup, Papaya salad, crab Rangoon and the red curry. That soup was to die for! Honestly, everything was so delicious and the service was awesome as well.
Muji Thai presents itself as a cute and clean establishment, with quick seating and friendly service. However, my experience fell short of expectations. While our waitress was delightful and the food arrived promptly, the dishes failed to impress. The crispy duck salad lacked the promised crispiness, and the chicken teriyaki was subpar. The sushi rolls, particularly the Spicy Tuna and Bonita Beach roll, were disappointing due to their lack of substantial filling and mushy rice. It's possible that we simply made poor menu choices, but overall, Muji Thai did not live up to its positive reviews.
Wow. What a gem this place is. I’m from the Seattle area originally where there a lot of great Asian restaurants and I was a little apprehensive to try this place but I’m glad that I did!
I started with the tuna sashimi which was quite good. For the entrees I had a basil fried rice with chicken and Panang curry with chicken, both at 3 stars for level of spice.
The flavors were both strong and rich and overall the meal was incredibly satisfying. I can’t speak to the Asian food scene in this part of the country, but this place definitely nailed it and is worth checking out.
When visiting Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida be sure to visit MUJI Thai Country and Sushi. Incredible selection, delicious food & attentive service! For that authentic Thai experience this is the spot. A great value I highly recommend this hidden gem. Arrive around 6:00 to sit outdoors and watch the sunset and enjoy the passerbies!
I enjoyed the vegetable tempura, edamame, crab rangoon, and green curry green curry!
Special thanks to Kanya the best server in town! I can't wait to come back!
After a day at the beach, I was craving Thai food. Muji has Thai and a whole lot more. I was feeling very indecisive and ended up with way too much food. The leftovers traveled home with me. I always get Thai iced tea when I go out for Thai food. Their's did not disappoint. My mind was set on chicken satay because my friend had been raving about some she tried elsewhere recently. Muji's chicken satay was all right. The chicken did not have the kind of char as I anticipated, and the peanut sauce was thicker than usual. Overall, it was good, but it did not live up to my chicken satay dreams. The Aka Dragon was gorgeous 😍 and delicious. I knew I had more food coming, so I had to refrain from finishing the whole roll. I'd definitely get this roll again, but I would also love to try their other rolls. Finally, I got the chicken Pad Ke Mao Noodles with 3 out of 5 star heat. They were good. I usually get Pad See Ew but like to change it up a bit every once in a while. The heat was as expected, but I think I'll stick with Pad See Ew.... or maybe try drunken noodles. The Pad Ke Mao was more bell pepper forward than I enjoyed. I had a long drive in front of me across Alligator Alley, so I refrained from trying the plum wine or sake. All of the rolls I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and there was someone waiting for several rolls to go. If you find yourself in Bonita Springs, I recommend Muji for Thai and Sushi rolls.
My brother and I went for a nice Sunday lunch and this place did not disappoint! They were not very busy but the staff was friendly, fast, and observant. We never had to ask for anything, the waiter was quick to refill drink and bringing out utensils and food. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and I devoured the entire thing, it was delicious! I also tried their Virgin Mojito which tasted just as yummy. This is my favorite place, everything was perfect!!
I wasn't sure about this place because they have such a varied menu, but I was pleasantly surprised with the red curry I ordered. It was one of the best I've had. I ordered 4 out of 5 on the hot scale and I added some hot peppers to it. Next time I'll get 5. It was $17 or $18 and well worth it. They gave me a good sized bowl with white rice on the side.
My daughter got a Pho and said it was really good.
Excellent food!!!
innovative and unique dishes, gorgeous presentation! the staff are warm and passionate. 10/5 stars
Food was incredible!!! Service was strange, but the great food was worth it.
The green salad was good. The steak bulgolgi was like sliced deli roast beef. There wasn't much of it, and it was flavorless. The kimchi was okay.
The eel sauce was too sweet and one note... it overpowered the sushi roll. Couldn't taste the lobster with all the sauce on it.
We will not be returning.
The server was friendly and attentive.
We debated on whether or not it smelled like mildew or fish inside. Either way it wasn't great.
Found this gem while on vacation! I can't say enough about the Shrimp Pad Thai and Massaman Curry! I would definitely recommend!

Great food but don’t go expecting happy hour. It no longer exists.
So tasty, seafood so fresh, kind service. I recommend Tom Kha soup, delicious!!!

We got carry-out … the Massuman Curry was the best we’ve had outside of Thailand - the cashews & avocado are great additions to this dish. Exceptional! Location is small but plenty of parking, convenient location.
Absolutely delish food and amazing service! I ordered the red curry and it was a 10/10.
New discovery, will definitely repeat
Purchased a to go order but dine in is usually an easy quick good economical experience!!
Great food and service.
Very good food, great service! Will eat here again.
Food was great and Tee was a fantastic server. Highly recommend!
Happy hour is great!
Great service and delicious food
Best Thai and Sushi restaurant in SW Florida! Muji Thai also has a great happy hour 7 days a week!
Excellent food and the server was very nice and attentive. The place reminds me of Diners Drive Ins and Dives style place which I kind of like. We will definitely be back!
I had the Red Curry and it was delicious. I ordered it extra spicy and it had a nice kick.
Muji is THE best Thai restaurant between Naples and Ft. Meyers. Their Ramen is exquisitely prepared with all the goodies you would expect, including delicious broth and the tastiest marinated eggs (not a half egg like most restaurants but a whole egg). Finally, their sushi rolls are the most creative of all the area restaurants. There are two locations and both are fantastic.
Difficult choice. Sushi, Thia, Japanese, ....so we had a bunch of food. All good.
Quiet ambiance... exceptional sushi
Das Lokal sieht zwar etwas Vintage aus, die Speisen waren aber wirklich sehr lecker und dem Preis angemessen. Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass das Wasser, wie sonst oft, nicht nach Chlor geschmeckt hat.
Soo good the best experiance
Average place but probably would have given a higher rating if there wasn't a hair in my friend's curry. She only found one and still ate cause she was hungry but it was a bit of a disappointment. I had been looking forward to visiting for a while, not sure I'll be back.
Absolutely outstanding sushi!! My family is very particular @ just California rolls…. These were perfect!! I loved the Two rivers roll. We went back two days later for more. Daughter loved the crab Rangoon. We got take out do no comments on service other than the man, the first time, n the woman , the second time , were very friendly. We will be back as our condo is 2 minutes away
Great food!
Best pho I ever ate and the server was nice and quick the atmosphere was good there was a cooking video on the tv
The Tom Kha chicken soup here is the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. The Spicy Beef salad is very fresh and flavorful.
The team is so welcoming as well.
Another wonderful dining experience! Exceptional food and service! Many great choices. Thai, Japanese, and Korean. The ice cream with fried bananas dessert is amazing.
Outstanding food and service. Tried pho in several different places and this is in my top 3
It's ok...
Amazing service and amazing food! We came in here on our honeymoon and they made us feel very special.
This place is so good that we went for dinner on Friday and I woke up Saturday morning craving it! We had sushi, Tom kha seafood soup, Papaya salad, crab Rangoon and the red curry. That soup was to die for! Honestly, everything was so delicious and the service was awesome as well.
Great food
Extremely flavorful food! Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice next level. The good reviews are legit, try them and you’ll taste the difference!
Just what we needed after a long day at the beach. The setting is casual. The food and service are excellent! I would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
Not good. Veggies not fresh, protein over cooked. Large menu, we had 3 thai dishes - not as good as other local Thai and Asian restaurants. Well not return.
Fantastic. Server superb. Get the muji roll 🤤🤤
Great food & portions. Spring rolls & pad thai are great .
Never a problem to park and great location to and from the beach. Rarely a wait and very good food.
Muji Thai presents itself as a cute and clean establishment, with quick seating and friendly service. However, my experience fell short of expectations. We loved this restaurant so much we ended up coming back twice on vacation. Sushi, ramen, pad thai were all great. Curries were outstanding. If you ask for heat they will definitely get it proper spicy. Only warning is portion sizes are large so bring your appetite. Waitress and waiter were both very nice. Definitely give this one a go!
Food awesome and service really good
Absolutely delicious

This was the best Sushi and Thai dinner dish I have had. I recommend you try this one!
I will keep this short and to the point. I have dined at many many Thai restaurants. I tried this for the first time and had the red curry chicken and tom kha gai soup. Prior to eating here Sushi Thai had been the best. These dishes that I ordered were every bit as good as Sushi Thai which is saying a lot! Because no other Thai restaurants I have dined at came close here in florida. Flavorful and delicious!

The best Thai and sushi I have ever had. And I am from metropolitan DC
It's impressive for what you can see from outside, for food and service.
There is a lot to do for the atmosphere, and a touch is needed for furniture and decoration.
very nice place excellent service 10 and fast recommended
This is not a ramen. VERY and TOO sweet Thai tea
We will be back

Mediocre, uninspired food. Small portions.
Surprisingly good food and good service. In our group of 4, we had Thai and Vietnamese dishes, all excellent. Service was very good.
The locale is modest inside and out, but don’t be fooled by it.
We will definitely go back.
Einfach, währschaft,
This place is absolutely amazing! The food was spectacular, Da our waitress was so sweet and explained the dishes incredibly. It was our first time eating here and we left fully satisfied with the whole dining experience. Will 100% be coming back!
So the restaurant is small, and a bit worn out, it could use a little TLC.
The service was fine, polite and at tentative.
We ordered the Pad Thai, soup, a California roll and sushi appetizer. The soup was good. The California roll was good, not great. The pad Thai was just ok as was the sushi appetizer, not bad but not as good as other places. The entire meal was also a bit overpriced for what we received. In general, we felt Sushi Thai had better food, better prices and a nicer decor.
Would not rush to return here.
Tried new location at Pelican Landing. Very pleasant cozy restaurant. Food is always special. Best crab rangoon ever. Friendly service.
Awesome food! Awesome service! Awesome location! We are regulars!
We have been rebuilding our Ft Myers Beach house and found Muji last year and were pleasantly surprised by the overall, great quality. We're back in town and brought our good friends for dinner with great confidence only to be let down by the most inadequate and careless service!! This restaurant will only satisfy those who tolerate mediocre at its best!! We absolutely will NOT be back!!!!
4 adults for dinner and have been there before....took 20 minutes to get a server...with a reservation and not super busy...then our 4 dinners came out separately after 45 min and cold, had to request the first to get warmed up and brought out with the other 3 meals...servers were indifferent and all other tables were hungry and frustrated as well. food was tasty once warm. ....but unfortunate lack of severice, care, and attention we will not be back.
The Thai food use to be wonderful. Most dishes had a lot of fresh vegetables not over cooked and wonderful flavor. Lately the dishes seem to be made with less vegetables and when used are usually overcooked. Overall the quality of the dishes seems to have gone down a bit. I hope that they can get it back on track
Our favorite restaurant for takeout dinner. Delicious sushi and great Thai food
Great family style Thai with sushi. Good portion size for curry dishes. Good standby Thai with all usual menu items. We enjoy the sushi too. Come here often. Like most of naples area, little pricey but no more than rest.
We dined at Muji Thai with our two adult sons. We had the Pad Thai, the drunken noodles, beef Ramen, and pork Ramen. We also had a sushi appetizer and crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Every dish was outstanding!
The service was spot on, and the restaurant was spotless. We loved it and will be back again.
Good Ramen place love it
Awesome staff and food. Glad to have found this restaurant right around the corner from my house and office :). Ty!
Everything was tasty and service was good
Our go-to for Thai food. Everything we've tried (and that's a lot) has been excellent. Staff is fantastic, friendly and service is great.
Bulgogi was supposed to be the best but was by far the worst I've ever had. Spring rolls was good
Best Thai food that I've had in the area.
Food was really good & you get a lot of it.
Great food, good prices & service
Enjoyed dragon roll and Bonita Springs roll. Both were excellent! They are happy to accommodate any dietary changes. Reasonably priced!
Great food and service
Ordered across the spectrum - sushi, wonton soup, and ramen. All were great! Received a free spring roll which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and we wished we had dined there because the restaurant is so cute! Very happy with the quality and authenticity of the ramen and also with the sushi rice!
Parking spots are not the best, but food are delicious. Service was wonderful.
Great little tie/ Japanese sushi restaurant
Unbelievably delicious!! I got the cashew sautee with fried tofu. Out of this world!
If anyone is looking for a local spot off the beaten path for sushi please check out Muji (4185 Bonita Beach Rd SW, Bonita Springs, FL 34134).
Some of the best sushi we have ever eaten, the service was outstanding (our server's name was Ten and he is great), and it has the perfect atmosphere for any date night!
Thai basil fried rice... 👌👌👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We love coming here for pho and other authentic dishes. The food always tastes fresh and delicious.
The atmosphere was very relaxed. Our servers were attentive, and everything we ate was delicious. The food was reasonably priced as well. No complaints
It's a simple atmosphere but the food is excellent!!
This place is fantastic. The food was wonderful. It's small and intimate, service is great and the food is off the charts.
Food was amazing!!!!
Great sushi and sashimi - I had the lunch combo. The miso soup was my favorite. Very yummy!
By far my favorite place to eat, I come down here from Colorado every 4-6 months to visit the gma and parents and this place never fails to amaze me. We have incredible Thai food in Colorado but the Tom kha here is the best I’ve ever had, the sushi is also extremely tasty and fresh and their happy hour prices can’t be beat! Service is also exceptional! Trying the pad Thai next time I come and I can’t wait:)
The food is to die for. Crab rangoons are so authentic and creamy, tom kha is the dish I always come back for! 100/10
Delicious sushi and the best iced Thai tea I've had. My husband and I also had the crispy duck salad as an appetizer. So flavorful and delectable. I loved every second of it.
Very good! Had 8 sushi rolls with the family. They were all excellent. Memorable rolls were the Osaka, Bonita Beach, Samurai and Spicy. Highly recommend if you are looking for sushi in the area.
Fantastic. The crab ragoons were the best we've had, they had so much filling and it was delish! The pad see ew was great, the chicken satay was tasty! Can't wait to go back 😃
Place was hot inside. That alone should have told me to turn around and leave. Can't believe some of the reviews I read on here. Worst food we've had in south Florida thus far. Even the miso soup was well below average. No flavor. Of course we didn't have everything on the menu. But what we had was tasteless and right out of a box. Teriyaki chicken was flavorless. $65 later and we will not be return customers.
Good luck
Simply spectacular, truly authentic
A very bland and boring Pad Kee Mao but ingredients seem fresh at least. Take out order.
Such a Great Little Place. Family owned and it shows. Everyone in there works very hard and the food is amazing.
Since Araya closed down, we've been looking for a new spot. I don't think this is it.
Not a huge selection and a bit pricey. What is served is good, need more variety, only 8 or 9 sushi selections.
Amazing food. This place has the best food. We went for dinner and cannot wait to go back again.
Lovely decor, great service, and excellent authentic food. Highly recommend this restaurant!
So fast, fresh and delicious. Tom kha soup was perfection. Massaman curry was huge. Just the right amount of spicey. Pad thai was just as easy expected. Staff was super friendly. Lots of options. Will be back to try new things.
Muji Sushi Restaurant exceeded my expectations with their incredible ramen and super spicy roll. The ramen had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, while the super spicy roll delivered a satisfying kick without overpowering the other flavors. The overall dining experience was delightful, with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Muji Sushi Restaurant for a memorable and delicious meal.
First time visitor, but now will be one of their best customers!! All four of us loved our appetizers and meals. My tuna rock roll was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had! My family all got the ramen and they said very authentic delicious broth. Great ramen! Highly recommend!!
Delicious!!! Pleasant and fast service. We had a fantastic lunch.
Everything was so good. Try the duck salad, probably one of the best things I ever had.
Delicious!!!
The sushi was delicious and we had a Ramen seafood soup.
Excellent service, thank-you!
Me and my husband were going to leave because we were nervous. Never had Thai food. It was an amazing dinner. We are more than pleased with the price and the food. Highly recommend 👍👍
Very homey and great for the family. Their customer service is spot on every time. And their food is exceptional. They never disappoint!
The food was magnificent!
Great fresh Sushi! Have been to this location (as different names) and they have redecorated the best yet. All food was fresh and Crab Rangoon is the best in the area!
I almost want to keep this place a secret. But it looks like the secret is out so it's time to let the world know. This restaurant is simply amazing. Unbelievably tasty food at incredibly great prices. It might be southwest Florida's best kept secret if you like Asian food. Japanese food? Check. Thai? Check. And my favorite, Korean food? Check, check, check✅✅✅. Not the most convenient location, but the drive is worth it. If you happen to pass this place by, it's just as well... That will mean a guaranteed table for our family.
This unassuming restaurant is as authentic as it gets!!
Can't wait to return!!
I am so impressed with the quality of food and promptness of service. I ordered takeout, which was ready within 25 minutes on a Friday night. The staff was very friendly and helpful to bring my order out quickly. Although I only picked up the order, the ambiance of the dining area in restaurant was very inviting and clean. My family raved about how hot (temperature) the food was when I returned home and that the crab rangoon was the best they had ever had. The sushi was fresh and the chicken pad thai packed delicious flavor and came in a great portion. I highly recommend Muji to those local to the area and those visiting!
Fantastic food!!! Best authentic Thai food. Just had their sushi and it was also great. People are always so pleasant too. Highly recommend!
Red curry is delicious! Krab rangoons were sweet, savory and mouth watering! Highly recommended!
They are the best, not only sushi, but everything they serve is outstanding!! It is definitely a warm and inviting place to visit. Each and every employee is oriented to make your dining with them a culinary delight. We have been going to their restaurant since they opened almost 2 years ago and they just continue to enhance each experience!!!! Very highly recommended!!!!
Food is always delicious!!
Was excited to get their ramen but honestly it wasn't good. Sushi was okay but not outstanding.
Hubbs & I have been here several times over the last few years and just keep coming back. You can sit inside or out and the food is just the best. I love the clear noodles, friends get some of the fun sushi & the plumb wine rocks. The service is also decent and location is good right along Bonita Beach Rd. Thanks Muji & glad you survived Ian - we'll be back soon!
Great food and service parking is tricky.
Fantastic service and food
Was traveling from the final walk through w my Client out of state from Bonita towards Fort myers. Decided to have a lunch and not cook. Found this sweet place right off Tamiami, 41 route in Bonita Springs. Little, quaint place ..happened to be a happy hour : ) $4 fir a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and $6.99 per sushi roll .. I ordered 3 , took 1 home 🏡. Service was good , lovely, chilled atmosphere, delicious food. I would be back : ))
For a cozier Thai restaurant experience in the Bonita area, this is a great choice. The parking area is a bit chaotic, but the food, service, and ambiance are all fantastic. In addition, you'll find some authentic offerings that nearby larger competitors simply don't have.
Don't judge the restaurant by the looks. My girlfriend and I almost did but we're glad we gave them a chance. The sushi 🍣 here is some of the best I've had from anywhere. The rolls are big, and the presentation is different than other restaurants. I'm shocked at how delicious this was. Come for the sushi, you won't be disappointed.
Pad Thai with stale chicken. Had meal Monday and it had to be Sunday’s chicken maybe even Saturday’s. Won’t eat here again.
Tasty Thai dishes, Yummy drinks, Recommended
Consistent good rolls and Thai
$7 sushi rolls and $2.50 beers for happy hour. Can't beat it. 2-5:30.
