Some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand!!!
Absolutely wonderful, fresh, flavorful and so satisfyingly filling. After stuffing my tummy, I felt like I needed to go give a grandma a hug in the kitchen before leaving, but the husband of the couple that owns the place is the one cooking 🤣 but I’d give him a hug anyways because the food is so good.
We drove down from Cape Coral just to get some of the sun-kissed pork and everything else is just as good.
Run, don’t walk, to this place!
They’re short staffed so don’t be upset when the perfect food takes a few minutes longer than McDonald’s 🙄 the reviews about it taking too long and leaving; their loss - they missed out on some of the best Thai food in the area.

Best Thai and Sushi Restaurant in the Bonita/Naples area. What authentic and flavorful dishes made with so much thought and love! We've been here a few times and each visit was beyond satisfying. I highly recommend the curry dishes, with my favorite being the duck red curry, as well as the specialty sushi rolls. There's a bit of a wait for the orders, FYI, but that's because Platoo makes a lot of their food from scratch, including the mouthwatering crab Rangoon. I would visit this place over and over again...

This place is a hidden gem! The owner was lovely and explained things very thoroughly. She was very attentive and nice. The restaurant is small but makes for a nice and quiet atmosphere. We had the crispy rice and 2 sushi rolls and devoured all of them. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some amazing sushi and food!

If you are looking for fancy, fast, huge portions and cheap… this isn’t your place. If you want cozy, friendly, high quality and fresh made to order food this is your place! Second time here and will definitely be a regular customer!

I went to Platoo based on the reviews and it exceeded my expectations. Our wait staff was kind and accommodating. They let us know ahead of time that they were short staffed and to expect a longer than normal wait. Once we got our food, it was immediately clear that the food was made from scratch. It was by far the best crispy chicken curry (Thai Hot) and poke nachos I've ever had. At one point, the owner shared some items that were not on the menu! I sympathize with the staff as they were working really hard to ensure everyone had a pleasurable dining experience (despite being short staffed). I will be back for sure.

I have been dining here a few times a month pretty much since they opened. This is the best sushi place around, and I am very particular about my sushi. We are from the PNW and CA, and it seems options for good Asian food are sadly VERY limited here in Southwest FL. I’ve tried many places throughout Lee and Collier County over the years and this is my favorite, the only one I keep coming back to. Sushi rolls are always fresh, flavorful and never bland or boring. Wonton soup is great. Coconut pudding is great. Tried their combo poke bowl today (see picture) and it was very tasty and fresh. The owner is always so pleasant and remembers you. I tell all my friends to go here. Keep this place in business please, it’s one of the only good ones!!

Absolutely loved Platoo. Beautiful personality, amazing service and the food was delicious. I would recommend this in a heartbeat. When we first pulled in we were iffy because of the seating, but honestly so glad we took a chance. So worth it.

I always drove past this place but I decided to stop in one day and man.. this is my new favorite spot. It’s small on the inside but feels very cozy and welcoming. From the service to the food everything is on POINT!

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Thai Sushi. After waiting at least 30 minutes, the waitress was not only rude but argumentative when we politely expressed our concerns. Our child was extremely hungry, and all we wanted was a simple order of chicken nuggets — yet even that took an unreasonable amount of time.

When we voiced our frustration, instead of understanding the situation, the waitress responded with an attitude, making an already bad experience worse. We came expecting good service and decent food but left feeling upset and disrespected. This is not the kind of treatment any customer should have to endure.

Would not recommend based on this experience.

We started with the Rockstar sushi roll, which lived up to its name—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The real stars of the night, however, were the Thai dishes. We ordered the Pad Kee-Mao, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Duck Curry, and every single bite was divine. The sauces were rich and perfectly spiced, the ingredients fresh, and the portions generous. All the dishes were made to order and not a crumb was left on any of our plates!

Though the restaurant is small and the staff is currently short-handed, they were incredibly welcoming and worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great experience. The charm of the place lies not just in the food but in the warm, attentive service that made us feel right at home.

First introduction the woman who runs this place was proud of her pad Thai stating I should order it,
She said her Tom kha was the best home made…

This woman and her husband have every reason to be that confident.
This is real home style Thai cooking, everything was amazing. Today was not an off day for them.

This place is an absolute gem! Family owned. The best Thai food around here hands down. Every dish is made fresh and full of flavor. We live in Cape Coral but will drive here every week to eat! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Platoo and loved every minute of my visit. From the door I was greeted by the friendliest staff and she went on to suggest the Tom kha and Pad Thai, which were both absolutely delicious. Platoo has by far been the best and most delightfully authentic Thai cuisine I’ve had in the South West Florid area.

I came in for dinner after Christmas but before new years. I could tell right away that this place was busy. I took my seat and looked at menu. Our server greeted us and let us know if we ordered sushi it would take longer. I said no problem and ordered apps. And waited for my sushi. Sushi tasted great and worth the wait. I wish this little Thai Restaurant the best of luck!

Platoo Thai and Sushi offers you a variety of different flavors and styles of thai and Japanese food. The waitresses are very friendly and have great energy! The coconut pudding is to die for 🤤🔥 Finally our total cost for dinner was $74, which was great pricing for a great experience.

We just left this WONDERFUL restaurant and LOVED it. Platoo is the owner and she served us. She could not have been any more accommodating, friendly, explaining all the dishes. We got the Sexy Lady sushi which was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. We also had Pad Thai which was the BEST I’ve ever had in my life. The wonton soup was excellent too! After reading so many "good" reviews I was expecting a great meal and excellent service.. we did not have that.. I hate writing a bad review but I also hate to not share an honest review... So came in for dinner, and from the beginning service seemed frantic" , we sat ourself in a almost empty restaurant there was a woman waiting on a takeout order and a couple who were eating.. we sat for almost 10 minutes before we finally were approached by a distracted woman who we told our drink order and attempted to give the appetizer order but she walked away.. ok we thought we will give it when she brings drinks.. not so..she walked away again when we tried to order..as as we waited to order we saw a table with a "reserved" note on it...she flitted around that table before she finally approached again..she almost walked away without taking our order but before she could I gave my order, my companion asked which roll was best.. she told him quickly her opinion which one we thought she recommended but honestly we were having a really hard time understanding her maybe she couldn't understand us?? After another 15 minutes our appetizer of crab Rangoon came, the outside looked ok but 6 very small wontons we're filled with a very runny filling and we were hungry so ate it anyway.. it was definitely overpriced for the size.. after another long wait the dinner entree finally arrived" we thought as long as we waited on it maybe it will be better.. not so" the chicken teriyaki was mediocre.. the rice was good the only thing I enjoyed but the veggies were too hard and I could not eat them,so undercooked vegetable and overcooked chicken" cold,tough and hard .. companion had ordered a roll.. server told him what she liked but brought out both .. so that was 2 small rolls for over $20bucks each .. literally over $44 bucks for his meal" not what he wanted and we honestly felt she knew he did not want both that's why he asked her which one do you recommend and how hard is that to understand?? Guess she could care less she got the money and the underserved tip"..(btw he's had Publix grocery store rolls taste better then what he had tonight) it seemed like she was in to much a hurry to care or get our order right .. seemed like she knew we wouldn't say anything about her mistake.. overall it was an expensive bad meal.. we are not ones who are rude so instead of complaining about the food in person or mistakes in the order we just know we will not ever eat here again.. to make it worse was the almost $96 dollar bill and we still paid over 20% tip out of courtesy ( and if it had been good we don't mind paying) but to pay for bad service and bad food is just a Bad Lesson learned.. "(maybe others enjoy it here but I wasn't impressed) and I definitely can't recommend stopping here or spending so much for the less than stellar restaurant experience.

We had 2 appetizers and they were both great. The Crab Rangoons seemed to be made in house and the Tuna Crispy Rice was also very good. We thought it was thoughtful that they noticed we didn't want spicy mayo on the Sushi and the staff left it off the appetizer without us having to ask. Attention to detail like that is nice to see.

I had the Pad See Ew and the noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked. Great flavor and definitely above average for the area.

We had the Spider roll and Hawaiian roll. Both were a good size and everything was fresh. The presentation was nice as well.

The service and overall experience was great and we will be back.

I’ve only been once. And I had the Tom Kha Soup with shrimp. It was excellent. Many layers very complex. I ordered spicy and was canceled to do it medium. Good call the spicy was perfect. The ladies who work here are so nice and very efficient and quick with their service. This is the best Thai food in Naples, though I am not a year-round resident. I will definitely be back!

Food and service was fabulous. We've tried many sushi/thai restaurants since coming to/and moving to Naples. So far Platoo is the best. We mostly had sushi. Cannot wait to go back and try the Thai fare. Oh...the crispy rice w/salmon was amazing. I have had that three times at three different restaurants this week...Platoo was the best. :)

The sushi was tasty, fresh and visually appealing. I ordered the Jupiter and Beauty and the Beast roll. My boyfriend ordered The Tom Yum noodles. He was raving about his dish. The noodles had a bold and authentic flavor profile. The broth was a perfect balance of spicy and tangy. The owner ended up waiting on us. She was nice and attentive. She recommended us dishes for next time we come! We will be back soon!

To start the staff is extremely friendly and very welcoming. Everything from their drinks to their food is amazing. Wait until you find out they have a card that if you buy 10 boba teas you get 1 for free! So hold on to that punch card because it’ll be worth it. Very friendly staff and although it is a small place, the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The food is excellent and the variety of teas that they serve are very good! There is a wide variety of food to choose from on the menu. I definitely recommend this place if you want authentic Thai food. This is definitely a place I will come back to!

Truly a hidden gem in SWFL. This was my first time at this place and experienced such a warm welcome and excellent service from the staff. Food was also fresh and very flavorful. The beef pho is a must! Will definitely be returning soon.

This was my husbands and I first time at this restaurant, we arrived at 8:20pm and we felt very welcomed.(they closed at 9pm) They were very patient with us and not once throughout the process did we feel rushed in anyway. The food came out fresh and absolutely delicious, we had the brown sugar tea & the matcha tea was heaven in a cup. The blue crab fried rice was delicious, you can taste the real crab in the rice. She recommended the rock n roll sushi roll and the sexy lady roll both were delicious. We were very impressed with our first visit, definitely will be going again!!!

Delicious! I'm a HUGE boba tea fan, and this is thus far my favorite in Bonita Springs! Thai food was extra yummy and very attentive service. I especially like that everything tasted so fresh. A nice healthy option to eat out. 😋

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is fantastic, with great variety. The staff are friendly and courteous. We enjoy the option of dining inside or outside. Although the restaurant space is small, it is clean, with fun decor. The acoustics are excellent allowing easy conversation with those in your party but without hearing everyone else in the restaurant. For Thai food, this is by far the best restaurant option around.

Stopped in for dinner after recommendations from friends. Food was great. We had hot sake (happy hour 3-6!), and a variety of sushi and sushi rolls. The fish was extremely fresh, and the rolls were very well balanced. Best yellowtail I've had in a long time, and I've been to every sushi place in Naples. The owner came out often to check on us and have a friendly chat, which was awesome. This place is the real deal, and we will definitely come back soon and try the Thai dishes!

The menu has a ton of variety and you can actually really truly choose your level of spice...I KNOW RIGHT?! Platoo the owner is truly a boss lady! She's amazing, kind, sweet, & YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY TELL THAT SHE & HER HUBBY CARES ABOUT EACH & EVERY ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! I don't think I can really truly put into words about how amazing this place is, all I can say is check it out for yourself! But listen if you go in with a chincy, cheap attitude looking to scam and take what you can get maybe this isn't the place for you! Platoo works extremely hard, will go out of her way to accommodate (to an extent), to make sure that ALL of her patrons have the absolute best dining experience. This is a small place w/big personality (heart, flavor, etc...I really could go on) there is also outdoor dining space, as well as take out. When you come & dine in & if you happen to come in when it starts to get busy you will see why so many ppl KEEP COMING BACK TO PLATOO, & I think once you've had the absolute pleasure of eating here...you will too!

Oh and I'm sorry I forgot to talk about what we ordered. This order our app was rock shrimp which was our 1st time having it and OMGEEZ this was DYNOMITE! We also had the Tom ka (sp) soup with shrimp I ordered mild and the hubby ordered medium( in out a spoonful of his broth in mines to add a smaller kine amount of spice). My hubby ordered soft shell crab w/the mansanang curry sauce(medium) and I ordered the Mansanang curry with shrimp (medium) and mines was a tad too spicy SO THIS IS HOW ACCOMMODATING PLATOO IS. I really didn't want to send my entire dish back bcuz I was hungry, so I asked do you have some coconut milk I can add to make this not so spicy? She wanted to take it back & make me a whole new one but I said no nvrmind I don't want to do this cuz I'm hungry, so what did this sweet amazing woman do?? She had her hubby make me a very small like ramiken size bowl of a milder version of the curry sauce for me to blend into my main dish to make it less spicy. Now that's amazing service! We've also had the Mongolian beef the gyoza, and more but for right now I cannot remember. Anyhoo like I said you cannot go wrong going to eat here be blessed and enjoy!!

The sushi was amazing. We tried 5 different rolls, and all were perfect. Sesame chicken was some of the best I've had, and the fried rice was maybe even the best part. I didn't catch her name but the waitress did an amazing job with a huge smile the whole time. She was very attentive and lively. We will definitely be visiting every time we are in the area.

The food came out quickly and steaming hot. I had sweet iced tea with my meal, and I took home a cup of milk tea.
The prices are reasonable. I will be back.

Platoo is Authentic Thai restaurant that pop up in my mind. I love food here, quality and very tasty. Recommend Hawaiian fried rice🤤 and I also had Spicy steak salad, steak is juicy, dressing perfectly balanced, I eat that with sticky rice 🤤 and pad rad nah is …how I ate in Thailand . Sexy lady roll is yummy. The service from here is friendly, caring, as you are in their family, totally wonderful. Thank platoo team

The noodle dish I ordered was superb and fresh upon recommendation called “Pad Se-Ew.” (I was asking to try something different than pad Thai, which I already know and love) Pad Se-Ew I discovered is flat, wide rice noodle dish cut in smaller pieces and cooked in the wok to perfection. Very tasty char flavoring and Medium spicy 🌶️ was more than enough for me- and I really like spicy!!!!

Go support this business and smart, hardworking Platoo, the Thai business owner herself and crew. Outstanding. And get a Thai Iced Tea to go while you’re at it, and then head to the beach for sunset!💟

We waited for over an hour for to go sushi. Two couples came in, sat down and left before we were served. We asked multiple times when our food would be ready and we were never given a clear response. The sushi was fine but definitely not worth the price or the hour wait!

This place is amazing! Here visiting and was crazing some sushi. Platoo delivered in spades. Service was prompt and attentive. And the sushi was fresh and delicious!

My favorite Thai restaurant in town! I’m from Thailand and this is as close as it gets to the local Thai cuisine. Sun kissed pork with sticky rice is a must try. The curry and PadThai are so flavorful.

Seriously delicious food, started with sashimi which was some of the best I ever had. Then onto the curry dinners, so yummy, I'm going back.

It was busy on a Sunday night but we still had great service. Platoo, the owner, waited on all the tables and was so personable. We ordered apps and sushi. The food was amazing. My husband had to be gluten free and she was very accommodating, telling us exactly which dishes she could make GF and how she could modify them. I can't wait to go back for the thai food!

Authentic Thai and delicious fresh sushi. We will drive 45 mins to eat here because it’s the best Thai and sushi in Naples. Being from NY we’re foodies and Naples is lacking in good ethnic restaurants. There are a lot of Thai places but not authentic and as good as Platoo. Also the owner and the chef are from Thailand. They hit the mark on everything. Highly recommend!

We had steam dumplings and a Sushi roll that was so fresh and delicious.
I highly recommend this place. We closed out with a chicken Pad Thai dish medium hot and was unbelievable, small dining but very well worth it.

Walked into a good and lovely atmosphere. The lady in the front was very nice. Everything was good until I started eating. I order chicken wings with California sushi. The chicken wings were so soft and mushy I couldn’t even eat 1! Then I got onto the sushi and it was so tasteless and dry. It was 26$ and I’m just sad I spent so much money for nothing.

This place is amazing! We have been looking for a good Thai & Sushi place in the area and we found it! We ordered the crab Rangoon to start and it was scrumptious. We also ate the Jupiter Roll and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were incredible. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing, the location is perfect, and I cannot recommend this place enough!

Im here on a Saturday around 4. There should be more people here, this place is delicious. We ordered the calamari and it was perfectly breaded, tasted fresh. We also ordered the Tom kha soup -mild -with chicken. It was full of flavor and spicy! We got the Jupiter roll and the shrimp tempura roll. Guys!! Amazing rolls!!! The service was great too, everyone was super friendly. For dessert we got Thai donuts!!! I can’t wait to go back!

In kurzer Zeit sind wir 3x hier gewesen und haben diverse Vorspeisen, Sushi und Hauptgerichte probiert.
Für meinen Mann gibt es hier das beste Rotcurry, was allerdings in Schärfegrad medium schon recht scharf ist.
Das Pad Thai ist sensationell, auch die Satay Spieße und das Sushi.
Es gibt noch viele Gerichte, die wir probieren möchten.

Zum Lokal: Von der Größe und Einrichtung her wie ein Bistro. Sehr liebevoll gestaltet.
Was ich auch klasse finde: Es gibt auch Außensitzplätze.

Your search for the best Thai food in the Greater Naples area is OVER!! They have all the essential Thai dishes like Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe, Tom Yum, Tom Kha. But don’t just get those basics, the best things here are from their Authentic Menu. We came here one other time earlier in the week and ordered Basil fried rice with shrimp, and Pad Kee Mao. Today, we got the papaya salad (Laos style) with marinated crab-medium spice, seafood Tom Kha, Tom Yum Noodles with fish balls, and Rad Nah. Everything was fantastic. Food came out fast and steaming fresh. I was especially impressed with the papaya salad. The umami, sweet, sour, salty flavors were out of this world! I would highly recommend if you’re into flavor. I’m already planning on going back same time tomorrow.

Waited over 45 minutes for sushi that was was below the grade of a supermarket sushi. Paid $55 for three basic rolls (California, volcano and salmon not even chef special) and small two bowls of miso soup that had 2 prices of tofu and one piece of seaweed, 2 sllices of scallion - in other words, mostly broth. Sushi itself was very basic, more rice than fish and presentation was mediocre. Noticed as we went in to pick up the sushi, there was a sign on the door that mentioned a sushi chef was needed - they're right.

Out of town and looking for a place to dine. Happened upon Platoo by chance and boy are we glad we did!

We love Thai food and both had wonderful dishes of seafood fried rice and red curry duck (mmmm such crispy duck!).

Platoo was very considerate of my wife's gluten allergy and guided her to the best options. We actually had a lovely chat with her about her business and where she is from. We were so happy to have dinner there and may go back before we head back home!

Crab Rangoon was amazing. Avocado Salad was pretty good. Sushi was fresh. Service was good but did take a long time to get our food and also was a bit pricey 4/5 stars
