We were in the area and read some reviews about Sen Thai and decided to try it. The sign out front said Sushi & Thai but no Sushi. A storefront restaurant that obviously frequented by locals. Very nice and extensive menu.

My wife tried the Pad Thai with mixed vegetables, also you can order it with tofu, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or scallops. Wok-fried noodles with eggs, bean sprouts, scallions, roasted peanuts, and tangy-sweet sauce. She thought it was just fair .

I opted for the Duck Noodle Soup, crispy duck breast, sprouts, and Chinese broccoli in rich 5-spice flavored broth, with egg noodles. The broth was outstanding, very flavorful. The duck was very good, not really crispy but have some grizzle.

Definitely will return to try some other dishes.

Stumbled upon this place while in this plaza. It was wonderful! We had lunch there on a Sunday and they had very reasonable lunch specials that include a salad, entree and drink. I also tried a special soup they had on the specials board. I have been eating thai food for over 30 years and had not tried this soup before.... it was amazing! The service was also excellent. Everything we ordered was great. I look forward to returning and trying other things on the menu.

We've been looking for a good thai spot in the area and are soo glad we took a chance here! It's a small restaurant but the ambience is cozy. Our server was singlehandedly taking care of everything and everyone yet attentive with every customers. We were impressed.
We are vegetarian and they make their curries without fish sauce which was awesome!
We ordered the panang curry, green curry, pad ki maw, basil and eggplant. The panang curry was INCREDIBLE!

Pad see ew is delicious! But the crab rangoons were awful, no flavor whatsoever, tasted very bad as if they were spoiled? I had to throw them out because I ordered 45 minutes before they closed.

Been frequenting this restaurant for a couple years now. Fantastic and flavorful food every single time. Definitely a hidden gem and deserves more business. A hidden gem, small neighborhood dining with amazing food, not all pictured here. The appetizer Satay and spring rolls were hot and perfectly crisp! Atmosphere is low key and cozy. The pineapple rice and red Thai curry were 10/10

My girlfriend and I just moved here and were looking for a Thai place nearby. We have tried this restaurant in person and to-go many times and every time it tastes even better than before! Highly recommend it for their pad see ew. Very delicious and happy to continue going.

UPDATE AUGUST 2023: We are moving away and since this original review, have gone to Sen Thai Bistro dozens of times. This is the first restaurant we have experienced where everything about the restaurant is 5 star. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The menu is perfect. Originally we had only tried the Pad See Ew, and since then have tried the crispy tofu, hot garlic edamame, choochee chicken curry, moo-ping skewers, drunken noodles, and two of their desserts. EVERYTHING was perfect and if not for moving we would continue to try everything! Perfect restaurant, go here!

They send the wrong food and when I called they said the driver will be back only in a hour. I drove to pick it up and used for a refund for the delivery and the rude lady said its not them its a thered party doing the delivery. When I got home I opened the food and again they made a mistake ans made the wrong food. When I called again the rude lady at they restaurant did not want to give me credit for it at all and was very rude. They will not see me again in this restaurant ever again.

First of all, i am Thai, so no questions how much i know and eat Thai food. 2nd, i am 33 years sushi chef experience, no questions i also cook Thai and Japanese food too. I heard about Sen from my coworkers. How couldn't i try ? I will never refuse to try any Thai food anywhere when someone recommended or search from Google when i am out of town. Sen would be on my top 5 list the best Thai food i had ever eaten in US. I have to give 100% to the chef who cook at Sen. The taste is outstanding with authentic ingredients. The food presentation is out of my mind this is from chef in local small restaurant, hiding in a small neighborhood plaza. Having big money to open a big beautiful restaurant in a big plaza does not proof how good a chef you are, because it is all about money. But cook at a local small restaurant like Sen and chef does the best job. It proofs that that chef cook from their heart, not about money. It is about being a good heart chef. Just like a traditional Japanese when they go 1st try at a sushi restaurant. They will order Tamago before anything. If the Tamago is home made and taste good. Then there is no questions how good of that sushi chef know how to do the sushi. At Sen, after i try Papaya salad. Then i know that my next dish will never disappoint me. It is happen at Sen.

We had such a lovely time at Sen last night. Exceptional and attentive service, the meal pleasing to the eyes and even better on the palate (yum!) delicious. Chill and mellow environment such a delight to all the senses. Will be back for sure. So fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood 💕

Did take out for 1st time at Sen AND THE LAST Always get namsod ground pork, onions, chili lime sauce. This was horrible stringy pork casing was still on pork so had to spit out many many pieces, there was maybe tomatoes or something orangy colored in namsod that I have never seen b4 and I ve eaten this at at least 100 restaurants yuck, final straw was glass noodles that were stuck together at bottom of Togo container. HORRIBLE AND $14 dollars WHAT A RIPOFF WILL NEVER GO BACK.

The absolute BEST Thai restaurant! The green curry is excellent as is the Tofu Pad Thai and the Tofu Pad See Ew. And the homemade peanut dressing is also delicious! So glad I found this place.

Sen Thai is one of my family's favorite restaurants. We love that it is a small restaurant that is run by a family. The red curry chicken, pad see ew and massaman curry are my favorites. We even had a party here where we rented out the whole restaurant, everyone had a great time, Lin was super nice and helpful setting up the party. The ambiance is also great. I cannot say enough positive things about Sen Thai. I will be going back frequently. 5 Stars!

The food is good, but sadly they’ve done away with the mango and sticky rice. Also NEVER order via delivery dudes, which is the only delivery service that is connected with this restaurant. They made our pad see ew WAY too spicy, so we had to call delivery dudes to have it remade. They said 40 minutes. Ended up being ONE HOUR and 40 minutes. EXTREMELY annoying and disappointing when you have kids to feed and schedules to keep. The restaurant tried to tell delivery dudes that they made it mild the first time (not that pad see ew should be spicy anyway) but that is completely incorrect because we have ordered here multiple times and this time was NOT mild.

I liked the food and the service is very good as well. I recommend this restaurant compare to others in Boca.

Definitely Sen Thai is one of West Bocas tasty secrets. It’s a great place. Today I had cashews and vegetables with tofu. And brown rice to round it out. They have a perfect lunch menu and dinner menu offers more options. Whatever Pinot Grigio wine they serve is really great.

I am a huge fan of Thai food and this is the best place ever to eat original, healthy and very tasty Thai food. The staff is very professional. The place is really clean and the plates got affordable prices. They deserve six stars!!!!

Had lunch at Sen Thai on several occasions after a round of golf at the nearby Osprey Point golf course. It has been a delightful and delicious authentic Thai meal experience that my guests and I enjoyed, we tried most lunch items on the menu and all were outstanding.
I look forward to have dinner there to evaluate its merits for a very excellent meal and authenticity of their creations.
Prices were reasonable and their true Thai venue makes it worth visits.
As Chinese restaurants evolved into a mixture of Asian cuisine where sushi is prepared by Chinese cooks, not a very fine touch I might add, finding Sen Thai was breath of fresh air for authentic cuisine.
I recommend it to lovers of authentic Asian fare.
I always preferred authentic Chinese dim sum , authentic Japanese sushi, authentic Thai and the likes. The key word is Authentic!

Best Thai restaurant in South Florida. One of the very few that's operated by Thai people, they know what they're doing and have tons of more obscure dishes. They will actually make food Thai spicy if you request it. I could eat this every day of the week if it was socially acceptable.

Overall good. But, we ordered the pad Thai omelet, and that was a fail. We got take out, which might be why. When we opened it at home, the noodles had congealed into a brick. Literally had to cut it with a knife, like a spaghetti lasagna. Shrimp in it were also tough to cut. Still, we'd try there again.

I'm looking forward to exploring their menu more, but with their curry or "Wok" section entrees you can't go wrong. Being Thai, I would say the food is quite authentic in taste and ingredients. Surely recommended for both lunch and dinner. The Som Tam set is surely a must try and the laab.
Cooking time is alittle slow so be patient; but as they say “quality takes time”.

Well, today was my first time trying Sen Thai Bistro. We live very close and love Thai Food, searching online we found this place. The food was delicious, fresh, and very tasty. The Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp and Pineapple was incredible! We will definitely return to Sen.

Took over an hour for food.... different staff tonight, 3 in kitchen 1 servicing food. Arrived 30 minutes after placing order, told waiting on 1 more item. 30 minutes later, still waiting. Not busy, just very slow staff. So much for supporting the community... dont waste your time!

Update.... Owner likes to make excuses on why the service is so poor. It's called "Staff your restaurant with more than 1 server". Read your bad reviews and make necessary adjustments. That is what you call improving your business.

Just had a red curry from here and it is fantastic. It’s raining heavily and this has really lifted my mood!!

Food looked good but was very bland, salmon was just not right.

Ordered vegetable fried rice, no egg to go. (Our family has an egg allergy). We got home and the rice had egg in it. I called Sen thai , they told me to bring it back. They called me back and said there is no egg in the dish. I explained that there was egg and that this is not something we can take a chance on. I said i would bring it back but asked if they could start to make two new ones so we wouldn't have to wait another 20 minutes. They refused. Told us they had other orders and would handle it when we came back. Terrible customer service and no regard to a life threatening allergy. I will not come back.

This is not your average Thai/sushi place for harried Boca soccer moms, they've an exciting menu full of stuff you can't find anywhere else around here. What I had was great and I'm excited to try more.

We stumbled upon this little neighborhood Thai restaurant... Service started out terrific. We loved the waitress at the start. She was friendly, bubbly, knowledgeable and we were the only two customers in the restaurant. We ordered a delicious shrimp appetizer. The Thai tea was great! We ordered the street fried rice - very flavorful and unique with the pork rinds. I ordered the boat noodles, mild (the one pepper picture on the menu). The waitress said it was popular and not spicy, and I was looking forward to it. When they served the noodles, the first taste was too spicy and I realized I couldn't eat it. At this time the restaurant had filled up and it was difficult to get the waitress' attention. (One waitress for 10 tables??) When she finally came over I explained that I wasn't able to eat it nor did I want them to fix the broth, and I didn't want anything else from the menu. She was very nice in offering an alternative and even asking to pack it up for me, to which I declined. My mouth was on fire from one bite.
When the bill finally arrived (which took forever because at this point, the place was full and still only ONE waitress), they didn't take my $14 meal off the bill! The waitress argued with me that they offered to fix it but that's how they do business -- when you order something, regardless of whether or not you like it or can eat it, you're PAYING for it - end of story! She kept looking to the back and saying let me ask.... After asking whomever she asked, the answer was still "you have to pay for what you ordered." I tried to explain to her nicely that as a restaurant, a business, you remove the item off the bill that the customer did NOT eat... That's the cost of doing business. She continued to argue with me and I finally just said "leave it on there, I'll pay for it but you're never getting my business again!" PSA: If you're going to eat at this place, make sure you like what you order because you're going to have to pay for it!!! Don't try to argue that the customer is always right because in this place, the customer isn't right!!

Amazing best Thai food in Florida!

The food here was absolutely fantastic. So freaking tasty. I got the Beef Thai Boat Noodles, my wife got the Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice, and my daughter got the Garlic Pepper Chicken. Everyone had a hard time stopping eating, despite being full, because it was so good. Would have given 5 stars but the timing of the food was off and each one of us got our entree at a different time with about 20 minutes from the time the first entree arrived until the final one arrived. Thank God we were just happy to enjoy each other's company. Definitely recommend but don't be in a rush.

Best Thai food I’ve personally ever had. Place is always clean. Service is good as well. We go at least once a month. When we’re not around or out of town and try Thai food it never compares to the quality of flavor of this place! I would highly recommend for any occasion. Their spice level is spot on too compared to other places. I usually get medium and it’s perfect. I’ve eaten here easily 15 times and have not had one bad meal or bad service. Will be a lifetime customer.

Best in the neighborhood

This is the best Thai food I've found in South Florida, by a large margin. There are so many "Thai and sushi" places that do neither very well - this is just a Thai place, and what a Thai place it is! Everything I ordered was perfectly prepared and extremely fresh.

I wish I could give them more than five stars. Simply superb.

Amazing - you will not be disappointed! I had the Green Thai Curry with white rice and it was real good! The server is phenomenal....friendly and knows her way around Thai food and their menu - nothing is too much for them. Go!

Great place

One of the best thai restaurants I have ever ordered from. Their duck curry dish is to die! So yummy, right amount of spice and the duck is deliciously cooked to perfection. The Pad thai is delicious and the Pad ki mau noodle is so rich in flavor, perfect egg noodles dish. We re very impressed with the quality of ingredients and how well cooked and tasteful the dishes are. We recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of thai food.

This is, by far, my favorite Thai restaurant!! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly. I recommend the Pad Thai, and they are allergy friendly too! This place is a MUST TRY!!

Amazing and authentic thai food

I love going to places that the staff gets to know me and is welcoming each and every time. Lynn is always helpful with a plate suggestion. Today I enjoyed the Boat Noodle dish with pork and rice noodles. I usually get chicken basil which is fantastic. I asked Lynn for a different suggestion today and was ever so happy I did. The Boat Noodles broth was so flavorful with the spices they used and the rice noodles went perfectly with that. They use their own homemade pork rinds in the dish that were the tastiest thing I had ever had in such a dish. If you like Thai Food I highly recommend checking out Sen Thai Bistro.

Service food or out of this world I highly recommend going in instead of ordering in every once in awhile

I came here for dinner with my nieces. The food actually tasted pretty good but the service was poor. I was not very happy that I asked for non spicy noodle soup and was given a spicy one instead. Even after they changed the broth, it was still spicy. I don't know what the deal was. When I ordered, the server told me they could make it non spicy and that's the reason I ordered that. If they couldn't make it non spicy, I would rather they have just told me that honestly and I wouldn't have picked that dish but I didn’t like to be given something different from what they agreed on with me when I placed the order. It cracked me up too that they just changed the broth but not the noodles and the meat in the bowl, which were still spicy because they were cooked in a spicy broth. When I told the server about it, she seemed to be in disbelief of the issue and did not even apologize. It’s terrible.
