Got some drinks here. They were nice enough. Can't speak on the food.

Wasn't alot of people on a Sunday evening.

Diner Review №2

Over 1.5 hour delivery. Refused to cancel the order after waiting 45 minutes, I just wanted a refund and the took another 45 minutes to deliver. It was obviously cold, one bit and tossed it the trash. I wouldn’t feed my dog from this place.

Diner Review №3

I got take away scary pad thai. That’s was delicious. And steamed dumpling for appetizer. Thai tea is wonderful drink. Yummy thai food

Diner Review №4

Good atmosphere, great happy hour prices, would come back

Diner Review №5

Unrecognizable as Thai food. One of the worst things I've eaten all year.

Diner Review №6

Diner Review №7

Solid thai spot.

Diner Review №8

Quick service and the food was decent. Would visit again.

Diner Review №9

2 stars for the good food. However the large visible rat traps under the booths and the food on the floor was a little bit of a turn off The food is also so expensive.

Diner Review №10

Where to even start. My friends and I visited this restaurant recently and had a terrible experience. We came in hungry and excited but that quickly changed. The server was quite cold and treated us with contempt. She got my order wrong, told me that I did have the correct item and walked away, then came back to fix the order after realizing she did make a mistake once the chef informed her. I don’t wish to apply what an employee does to entire reputation of a business, but I will mention that she acted in an outrageous manner…. BUT let’s actually remember this is a restaurant, so I shall focus on the food. The best word to describe the food is Unappetizing. I frequent Thai restaurants often and I LOVE their cuisine. The entire country of Thailand would be ashamed of the meals this restaurant is serving. The fried rice had lots of incredible ingredients, with absolutely NO flavor. The Tom Yum soup was FOUL. I had just recently went to the Maryland state fair and the smell/taste of their version of the soup reminded of the barn of all the farm animals housed there, with a tang of mold. (I wish i could say I am kidding) The vegetable spring rolls were quite a peculiar texture and awfully disappointing. I guess I could mention the chicken Satay was tasty. However, if you choose to visit this restaurant and happen to have issues with the food, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Diner Review №11

This place is amazing, I love the lamb curry. Oddly it’s never very busy, but the food is amazing, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is even better. Great hidden gem you will not be disappointed in.

Diner Review №13

Such delicious Thai food and they made me feel like royalty up in here. 🇹🇭🍛🙏🫂😊

Diner Review №14

So underwhelming. Really didn’t seem authentic. Ordered Thai hot, wasn’t even hot.

Diner Review №15

The food is very tasty but the prices are high and portions are quite small. Probably the smallest of any Thai place I ever visited

Diner Review №16

A few of us were in town and went out for a team dinner. Our server was lovely. The space was quieter when we went, so we were able to catch up comfortably. I ordered the pad see ew, which was delicious. Several teammates ordered the green curry, which also looked tempting.

I'd highly recommend the space, and will likely come back on my next trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Massaman Lamb Curry was delicious

Diner Review №21

Diner Review №22

A wonderful birthday celebration with great food and service in a lovely setting. My friend and I shared Summer Rolls ($9), Eggplant with Tofu ($18) and Drunken Noodles ($18). After checking my ID, I was given a delicious slice of Key Lime Pie for the special occasion. There's no elevator, but the downstairs pub opens at 4:00 PM and you can have your food served there if you have a problem getting up the steps. Close to the Metro and a short walk to the Phillips Gallery.

Over priced, they will add gratuity in the bill without asking you and almost half quantity for the price of 3. highly highly not recommend and don’t make the same mistake we did, find a better one if you really want to eat Thai food..poor presentation and pineapple fried rice have literally 3 & half pieces of pineapple slices..

Diner Review №26

Small portions for huge prices, for not too good food

Diner Review №27

Diner Review №28

Food was really good. I was worried, as I do love Thai food. You won’t be disappointed! Portions are big, you can ask for a level of spicy you want. All was great. Prices are average. We payed 100 for 2 dishes, 1 starter and 2 cocktails.

Diner Review №29

My meal and dessert were absolutely delicious! Their menu contains many vegetarian and gluten free items. They are able to accommodate many meals to dietary restrictions. I will definitely be back when I return to DC!

Diner Review №30

Diner Review №31

Have eaten here twice, several months apart. Food is excellent. Portions seem to have gotten smaller and are now about half the size of what is typical at comparable Thai restaurants, which is unfortunate. Four stars only because of the portion size.

Diner Review №32

This is a charming gem in DuPont. The food is delicious and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy after. I had the Pad Thai, my partner had the Thai Fried Rice, and our table split the Crab Rangoons, Pork Dumblings, and Curry Puffs. Portions were a bit on the small side, but the waitstaff was incredibly friendly, drinks were poured strong, and the atmosphere was very upscale (without the prices to match, so bonus for affordability by DC standards!). I’d love to go back here again.

Diner Review №39

Food was not good. Service was meh. The waitress seemed awkward in general.
Disappointing experience overall

Diner Review №40

I’m very disappointed. I ordered take out and the food was horribly overpriced for the portions you get. The duck pancakes were meh. But most egregiously, the vegetables (potatoes and sweet potatoes) in the massaman curry were still raw and hard! They weren’t cooked through (the sauce was very good though).

Diner Review №41

Diner Review №42

Great new restaurant with double menu with the downstairs pub!

Diner Review №43

Had red curry shrimp. It was quite good.
PS. US hot is quite hot. If you like spicy, I suggest the mild hot version.

Diner Review №44

Nice!

Diner Review №45

Went to dinner last night here, and the service, ambiance and food was wonderful. Amazing waiter who was kind and helpful. Owner made an amazing thaigarita and came by to say hello. The ambiance was a beautiful layout that felt very comforting. And as someone who has been to Thailand 7 different times and who's family background is Indian and from the dc area, I am confident to say this is some of the best Thai food I have had in the area. The chicken kra praw was amazing (we asked for saap so that it was minced) and the chicken green curry was can't miss. Will be bringing my parents here

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

Excellent Thai cuisine. Authentic. Pad thai is so nice cooked with crispy tofu is even better than in Thailand. Service is nice. Owners are super friendly.

Diner Review №48

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. The green curry was good. The beer was lukewarm. The calamari was terrible (think I may have food poisoning from it). Our server was very rude. He mixed up our orders multiple times, had a bad attitude, and gave himself a generous tip. The whole experience left me feeling taken advantage of.

Diner Review №49

Food was great, got the drunken noodles and pad Thai. Server was really rude and had a bad attitude when he bothered to check on us, and then he gave himself a 20% tip on our card when he asked us for our card immediately as soon as we ordered to “start a tab.” This is a restaurant, not a bar, why are we starting a tab? I should’ve said “no, we’ll pay when we’re done eating,” but instead we just obliged and gave our card, and then he charged his own 20% tip. Smart guy - horrible waiter.

Diner Review №50

Just ate on the patio. The server was terrible, rude, and did not deserve the included tip. The calamari was cold rubber that tasted spoiled. Feeling nauseous.

Diner Review №51

Pad Thai was amazing!

Diner Review №52

This restaurant has an amazing modern bright atmosphere. The internal decorating is beautiful and comforting.
The food quality is outstanding.
I had my favorite Thai soup with lemon grass and shrimp. I also had Salmon Teriyaki and it was delicious.
The restaurant is in a very nice area of Washington DC and interestingly parking was easy.
I will definitely come back and bring friends.

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

One of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had!

Diner Review №55

Amazing service and every dish was a 10/10. Absolutely recommend!

Diner Review №56

Excellent service, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, would definitely return again! The owner came to check on us and all of the staff was super friendly. Thank you Thaiverse for a wonderful date night!

Diner Review №57

Lovely place and fresh food, got the kimchi dumplings which were okay, they were not spicy but still really good! Pad se ew was amazing! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №58

Shockingly good Thai food in an oddly french looking decor. Definitely recommend!

Diner Review №59

Delicious pad Thai , great portion size for the price. Beautiful ambiance with nice classical music playing. Great service too.

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

It was good but nothing spectacular. Service was great! And portions were decent for some things but small for others.

Diner Review №62

Absolutely delicious. Nice vibes. Good drinks. Great food. Nice location.

Diner Review №63

I am picky about curry and the duck curry was top notch. It was so good, my young son who was never a curry fan said it was the best food he ate in DC. Service was fantastic too!

Diner Review №64

Great food and drinks! Friendly staff as well.

Diner Review №65

This place have a good food and place and service great.

Diner Review №66

Great food and very busy when we went. There was a table outside and they were for whatever reason didn’t want to accommodate but second server noticed we saw the available table so they accommodated it. Would have given 5 stars if the manager is more understanding. Servers were great but they got my order wrong. They got me 2 orders of the same dish and I told the server but she didn’t do anything about it when they placed it on the table. Manager refused to credit/refund the extra dish since the server didn’t bring it back when we told her. I didn’t want the servers to get in trouble.

Diner Review №67

Best Thai food in DC, based on many trips to Thailand! Pad Thai and green curry are made in the southern style by the Exec Chef, who is from Krabi. So good.

Diner Review №68

Lovely way to spend a summer night having dinner with friends.

Diner Review №69

Really nice space and the seats are so comfortable! We were particularly impressed by the duck pancake roll, it was so ridiculously good… the ginger stir fry flavors were delicious but the tofu was a bit chewy. Green curry flavor was also amazing, though not as spicy as I would prefer!

Diner Review №70

Food was okay. Nothing bad about it, just not amongst the best Thai food I’ve had. The ambience in the summer is great though- both inside and outside.

Diner Review №71

Food was mediocre at best. Several dishes came out cold. The staff is nice but they are disorganized.

Diner Review №72

Great place to have thai food in Dupont

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Great food, good prices, wasnt very busy (went for lunch monday), staff was attentive

Diner Review №75

This is a great restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. The dining room is modern, immaculate, and airy. I will absolutely return.

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

Great Thai food and beautiful restaurant! Enjoyed an excellent dinner then went downstairs for a drink at the Step-Childe Harold. Fun atmosphere with rock n roll history.

Diner Review №78

Delicious food! The Thaiverse fried rice and mango sticky rice are especially delicious!

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Hands down best Thai food I’ve had in DC!

I’ve tried their massaman and panang curries. Both were creamy and well-seasoned. I got different spice levels and could definitely tell the difference, US hot is perfect for me! My friend got the Thai fried rice and loved it.

Their customer service is also very good. They gave me an extra entree because there was a little wait for my takeout order. 100% my go-to Thai spot.

Diner Review №82

Simply wonderful!

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

The kra praw was excellent. The calamari was one of the best I had.

Diner Review №85

Decent food. Lousy service.

Diner Review №86

Heat seekers, this is the Pad Thai for you.

Diner Review №87

Pad thai was excellent!

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

Excellent Thaï restaurant - Great service - Great decor in a Victorian house and most importantly great authentic food. This is going to become my cantine 🙂

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Great new restaurant on Dupont Circle. Original location is in Middleburg, VA. Very friendly staff. Upscale setting in a historic townhouse. Food was excellent. Best Thai in the city. Very good drink menu as well. Highly recommend!!

Diner Review №92

Delicious, flavorful, mouthwatering food. So excited to have a great Thai restaurant in Dupont. Planning to go back soon! Nice service, as well. Two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: (1) they need to hand the portable credit card reader to the customer for payment, no need to have to select tip while the waiter is watching and awkwardly holding the reader; (2) a few pillows on the seating against the wall will make the experience most comfortable.

Diner Review №93

While Thaiverse may be new to DC, it's clearly not new to Thai food. Went for Easter dinner and everything was soooo good!!! Everything was well made and good portions. I ordered for the table and we left full with some leftovers. My only critique is I ordered the Thaigerita, Thai Spicy which is one level below scary and there was no heat (for a second I thought I was becoming immune or something but the food had a nice mix of heat so I know my spice bud isn't broken lol. Will definitely be back, thanks for dinner!!!

Diner Review №94

This place opened last week. It is not to be missed if you like Thai food. The ginger stir fry with veggies and chicken is awesome.

Diner Review №95

We’ve waited months for this to open because the other location gets such rave reviews and I can now say this is hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in this city. It’s the closest to the Bay Area I’ve found, great flavors you’d expect with a little something extra, like putting fresh mango in the summer role. I got the Cashew chicken which came sautéed in a flavorful but not sweet brown sauce and my gf got the pad see ew and highly recommends that as well

Diner Review №96

Hands down the best Thai food in town. I’ve loved the Middleburg Thaiverse forever and I’m so excited to finally have a DC location! The food is stellar (and reasonably priced), the fireplaces and bay windows are gorgeous, and the service is fantastic. Plus, The Who’s old pub is attached just downstairs!
