Also, don’t like how the old menu is online and isn’t an up-to date menu so I was extremely disappointed when I asked for the Summer Rolls & they had no rice noodles (twice). Didn’t give me my dessert that I ordered either. Overall, I rather drive to Dover to visit Pho Viet. Better pricing & quantity of food overall. Won’t come back here again, sadly.

after reading multiple reviews about price-food ratio, I don’t understand how people can complain when every other restaurant in Lewes/Reho charges the same! This food leaves you satisfied and not bloated like most restaurants do. We had the Tom Yum, curry with chicken and some apps. Super delicious and home feeling when you enter to eat. It was so wonderful to eat here and you can tell the owner puts a lot of care into this place as well as her food.

This is such a great restaurant for Thai cuisine! It’s our favorite for Thai food!! Most authentic in the area. We’ve been more than a handful of times and will continue to be regulars. The owner is very sweet and the staff is attentive. The decor is also fun to look at!

My daughter had been wanting to check this place out for a while, and we finally did. The atmosphere was very relaxing and had an inviting vibe the second you walked in the door. My daughter was more than happy with her selections, and we will be returning! This time to eat in. The outside is so deceiving; once you're inside, you're instantly transported to a completely different environment. Well done Sticky Rice from the menu to the atmosphere everything is perfect 👌

Great authentic Thai food. The taste is so good. We got the summer rolls (ask for peanut sauce), Pasang curry which they were kind enough to make for us, the Tom kha soup which was good and the sticky rice with mango which is chefs kiss.

Absolutely delicious! We are lifetime locals and we have definitely been missing out! We tried Sticky Rice and the food was excellent, fresh, and so delicious! We had Veggie fried rice, and also Shrimp, dumplings, skewers, and crab rangoon. We will definitely be back to try other things.

We loved both our meals, and unlike many other people wrote, we felt the portions were enough for our 2 adult dinners, but I removed 1 star because $3 for a minuscule box of rice is quite outrageous. Next time, I will not order the rice and make rice at home! Respectfully ❤️

I enjoyed supporting this local.small business. The interior is clean and has plenty of seating. The employee running the front of house was friendly and did a great job serving all the tables himself with gr at efficiency. The restaurant mostly serves traditional Thai food, but tapas style. The portions are small enough that you can try multiple items or stop in for a quick lunch without feeling weighed down all day.

My family and I were REALLY impressed with the robust aromatics in the dishes we ordered for takeout. The panang curry in particular had a really unique floral quality (possibly makrut lime zest?) that I have not found in the States before, and the liberal use of chilies and aromatic herbs took things far above your average Thai takeout.

We ordered tom yum, papaya salad, spring rolls, drunken noodles, green curry, and panang curry, which was plenty for 3 people. (Count on ordering two items + at least one order of rice per person.)

Our only complaint was that the level of salt was quite high even by restaurant standards. That's not a problem if you have plenty of plain white rice to go with, but unfortunately we ran out. For curries definitely plan on ordering more than one rice per person if you have a larger appetite or want leftovers, as the rice portions are small.

Overall it was a delightful and affordable meal that was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. We will definitely return!

Found the best Thai food in Lewes DE! My fiance and I LOVE our Thai food and have been on a search for great Thai food in the area and we were not disappointed with sticky rice. The chef even came out to talk to us and gave us some tips if we ever travel to Thailand. Highly recommend the Tim kha and mango sticky rice. Make this a must visit if you’re in town. The ambiance of the restaurant really brought it all together but the quality of the food surpassed anything else we have found yet!

Food is alright. Not as spicy as I would enjoy, food is well put together and tasty. Unfortunately the portions are very small and the selection is limited. The pork dumpling app only came with 3 pieces and the summer rolls were mostly just lettuce

Sticky Rice is a very unique Thai restaurant with great atmosphere, service, and food. I stopped by for lunch and they served me quickly as I had a short break. Their Tom Yum had the most spices and vegetables in any Tom Yum I have had before, and I loved their Crab Rangoon. I plan to bring my family back for dinner soon!

My favorite item it’s shrimp fried rice and ka Tiam sauce with chicken it’s so delicious and really tasty also I like Thai ice tea it’s really good.

We visited on a Sunday night and while the restaurant was slow, table service kept bogging down (Carafe of water delivered to table but the server forgot enough glasses, sugar requested with hot tea was forgotten while the server dealt with telephone orders)...no big deal. The food was good to very good. Satay Chicken, drunken noodles, Ka Prow shrimp (very good but for $18 seemed pricey for the little tapas sized portion. Desert was great - sticky rice with mango. We will go again for sure.

Tom Kha and spring rolls are so good. I'm a baby, so the soup was a little spicy for me. Mango sticky rice and thai iced tea were the best I've had.

The day I got the food there seemed to be an excessive wait. Take-out orders were taking 1+ hr wait. But I gave them a chance. When I received the food, the soup seemed like it wasn’t strained as there were peelings in the bowl & the pad see ewe didn’t have the taste of soy sauce at all. The atmosphere is good; a very quaint, comfortable restaurant, however.

Portions are a bit small for the price. Sauces are a bit too sweet for my taste. I recognize this is a personal opinion.

Little expensive but excellent quality and taste. Our Pork dumplings were nicely crispy with a tasty pork filling. Our Pad Thai was also delicious with a sweet yet tangy taste with tender shrimp. I would definitely recommend it.

Moving here we found thai food was made bland, and much too sweet. I don’t know who they’re cooking for - but it’s not fans of authentic thai cuisine.

We ate here last night and we’re pleased. The summer rolls are large and well spiced but could use a bit less endive or escarole. I can’t tell them apart. Perhaps some shredded carrot? Still - delicious and the real deal.

The entrees are actually a proper size for a single portion. The basil chicken is thin sliced, not minced but excellent flavor and awesome spice. The panang was perfect, and I already know it’s my first choice: just enough fire but not too much. The owner/chef is a dream come true.
Service was easy going, very kind and friendly. And budget wise? This is a steal at about 1/3 less than other area restaurants.

We’re going to be regulars here, and if you are from the DC area and miss authentic thai cuisine- give this place a try

Thai iced tea was good even though Half & Half was used instead of condensed milk. Chicken Pad Thai was dry, and not very flavorful. I will try another Thai restaurant next time.

my server/bartender was awesome, however, I am extremely disappointed in the portion sizes; three dumplings for a seven dollar order of dumplings? My noodles which were 20$ had a SINGLE cup of noodles, half a cup of chicken in, two miniature spring rolls for a WHOLE order. Just so disappointed. Literally had to cook another meal after spending 56$ because i was still hungry.

I ordered Pad See Ew for take out. The food was pretty good, but the portion size was small, bordering on stingy.
Other people I have talked to have agreed that the portion sizes were small for the cost. Most indicated they haven't ordered food here more than once, citing food quantity as the main reason.

The place is very small, with limited seating and more of a take out place. We went for dinner and ended up getting taken out because the few tables they had were already spoken for . Small menu. Portion sizes are small, and when we asked for medium spicy and thia spicy we were told they did not season dishes but gave us small containers of different seasoning to add to our dish to get the heat that just was not the same actually wish I would have left it off I followed the ladies recommendation as to what two to use and I wish I would have just ate the meal without the spicy sauces

I love this place. Usually places say something is very spicy but when I eat it, it's like eating noodles with 1 singular red pepper flake in it. But this place impressed me. I ordered the extra spicy dumplings and veggies and it was very spicy and delicious. The prices are pretty big but what's cheap nowadays? 5/5 stars

Smallest portions ever, really nice people working there but we ordered food to share, $70 worth of food and its not enough to feed even 3 people. The pictures show big plates and my togo boxes are half empty. I was excited and now Im quite underwhelmed.

Cannot believe this place gets good ratings. We got take out. The curry dinners were packed in soup containers (see photo), which was good, since they were mostly broth. We ordered shrimp in the green curry and chicken in the red. Very very little protein in either dish. The green curry promised eggplant. There were two tiny pieces. The most prevalent ingredient in the broth was bamboo shoots, and few of those. The dinners do not come with rice, but for an extra $3, you can get the tiniest food box you have ever seen, containing less than a cup of cooked rice (See photo). I can buy 2 lbs of dry basmati rice for $6 at my local Acme store..…RETAIL. We also had the summer rolls, which were all lettuce and basil, with ONE tiny shrimp, cut in half, just as another reviewer described. $12 for two orders of lettuce! Flavor is ok, but hard to enjoy over the bitter taste of feeling ripped off. We paid $55 for take-out. Maybe some people think tapas means smaller plates for larger prices, but we are not among them and won’t be back.

Don’t bother. Placed takeout order, went to pick it up. Got all the way home to discover they did not give me the sticky rice I ordered. I called back and told them that and after being grilled about if I was sure I had the side of sticky rice or not it was determined that mine went in someone else’s order. Asked for a refund of the $7 and they said no, not over the phone. I agreed to come back and pick up said sticky rice and I also requested two additional sides of white rice as what came with mine was quite a small side. Drove all the way back and was told I had to pay for the two extra sides of white rice. Ridiculous

Highly recommend. Lots of options, reasonable prices make you want to try them all! We had crab Rangoon with fresh real crab meat, Pad Thai with steak and a lovely mango dessert. Will be back!

Sticky Rice Offers Thai Style Tapas which are INCREDIBLE. People may be thrown off by portion sizes but prices clearly reflect the size of their tapas(small plates)6-10 dollars a plate. The staff is small but efficient and kind! The Inside only has 7 or 8 tables but it makes for an extremely intimate and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed two thai ice teas, spring rolls, beef skewers, coconut milk and lemongrass soup (which was probably the most aromatic and deliciously fresh tasting soup i’ve had at any Thai or asian eatery in the area), crab Rangoon (which were made with real fresh lump crab!!!) and shared an entree with real sticky rice served in palm/banana leaves. Everything was Delicious, fresh and made with care. Those looking for a traditional sit down thai restaurant may be a little on the fence but the ability to try a bit of everything with the small plate offering makes for a festival of flavors and an amazing dinner that ended up costing around 80 bucks but could easily be worth much more for the quality and presentation! It was our first time there but i can see it becoming our go to spot in lewes, just keep an open mind to new foods and don’t expect any americanized chinese which i’ve seen complaints about, they are not offering Chinese, Japanese, or Loas food.. They are offering incredible THAI FOOD and that’s what they deliver! Definitely a great takeout spot!

The rice they gave me in a miniature box was enough to fill the palm of my hand. The dinner came in the same size cup if you had a ice cream Sunday. What a rip off . I usually go to the one next to the park n ride but wanted to try it. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I'm new down here but not dumb.

Very disappointed! Summer Rolls very disappointing, no rice in them and very small pieces of shrimp and lots of basil, 2 very small rolls, not worth $6.00. The Shrimp Pad Thai was very oily and a lunch size portion at best. This business would not survive in Northern Virginia where Thai food is good everywhere you go.

A cozy dinning room with a small Thai menu. We ordered various appetizers and entree dishes. They were all in tapas sizes and the prices reflect that. They all tasted good and were made with fresh ingredients. They certainly did a lot of takeout services while we were there.

First time having Thai food. Portion was very small. I had a shrimp dish, taste was good. Could hold the entire meal in one hand, which made the meal over priced.

The food was absolutely the best Thai food I've ever had, but the prices and the portions and the staff, its not worth it. The staff was rude and and didnt help much at all, the portions were the smallest thing I've ever seen and they were extremely expensive. If you have $30 for lunch and its just you eating absolutely give it a try, if you want left overs, go somewhere else.

Boy do I miss Lilly Thai

My family and I was just visiting the area for the first time. We waited almost an hour for our food. The waitress told us that she forgot to press send. It had gotten to the point where we didn’t want the food anymore. The appetizer wasn’t good neither. This is more so Thai food. Not Lao food. The food isn’t authentic at all and taste very rush and way too sweet!! The waitress keeps messing up our orders. I would not recommend this place at all. We thought this was the same owners as the one in Orlando. Very disappointed.

Fantastic that someone posted photos of the menus on the Google Maps page for if you look at the restaurant website I can’t find anything but pretty pictures or the opportunity to subscribe to spam. The papaya salad, should have peanuts but don’t. Also, when not listed on the menu, most places we go, including the Thai spot across RT-1 serve it with some shrimp; not here but it is less expensive. Glad to see they have added a table or two but this is probably best considered for carry out due to seats and preparation time. People are nice.

We have often ordered out from Sticky Rice and have always liked their menu, good quality and great food for our money. Among our favorites, the Larb Gai, the combination Pad Thai with chicken, pork and shrimp and their Drunken Noodles.

Lovely small local Thai restaurant with excellent kra pao!

The restaurant seating is too close to be safe from Covid exposure. The okay as in traveling the US, I have had much better in Las Vegas, Houston and Naperville areas.
That said, what I found off putting was the was the way the female owner glared at me when I entered the establishment. I am a resident physician who was dressed in my scrubs and mask.
It was EXTREMELY unusual. She did not greet me nor thank me for my business upon leaving.
In these fiercely competitive times with restaurants are fighting to keep their doors open, she should consider that customers have PLENTY of other options.

This is by far the best Thai in the area. The food is always amazing & servers are always super nice. Sawanya and her team make fabulous food! The portions we got for take out were so small and the food wasnt even that good. Only enjoyed 1 thing that was ordered . And the price was ridiculous because 3 things ordered was enough for only 1 person

Wonderful food. Loved the red curry and sort of loved the summer roll. Next time we’ll get the deep fried spring roll. Small and excellent restaurant that seemed to do a very busy takeout as well.

Great little hidden gem in Lewes. Tom Yum soup was delicious. Satay chicken was ok, beef skewers were excellent. Fried tofu was disappointing (Panko makes a much better coating). Panang Curry was excellent. Pad Thai was ok.

I don’t know what goes into making sticky rice that would justify charging $4 for a hand full so I could not see the value in it. Tough to eat by itself but soaked in the curry sauce was the way to go.

The staff is friendly and the order was ready on time for pickup.

Would definitely recommend this place to our friends and will be back for more of our favorites and to try some more of the ample menu items available.

Perspective: We once found a little, family owned Thai Restaurant on the corner of Senator and 3rd in Brooklyn. We called her mom, because the food was unmatched, authentic & spiced as supposed to be magnificent. Plus she liked to sit and chat when it was slow. Sticky Rice is that good. And there's a mom doing the cooking here as well. I have one complaint: I want them to expand the menu so we can taste their special cooking on a larger array of Thai dishes!

I’m not an expert in Thai cuisine, however I’ve enjoyed it in many different places around the world and try to order different things on the menu, things that I’m not familiar with everywhere I go. This was the first time in all my experiences where I enjoyed nothing from the meal. I tried a soup, the tea with lime, and a main course. I tried all three items repeatedly to see if I could warm up to the flavoring, to no avail. I live locally and it is going to take me a long time to get the experience out of my mind to try again.

Southern Delaware is lucky to have Sticky Rice. Some of the best Thai I have ever had.

Superb. Clearly inspired cooking, far beyond any other Thai food I’ve had. Peanut sauce for the chicken satay is fantastic… every other sauce is clearly made from scratch with care. Wish they’d just post the menu anywhere but FB. And it is pricey, but again exceptionally done food.

Highly recommend this place. We ordered summer rolls, shrimp pad thai, shrimp drunken noodle, fried rice, and satay. Everything was DELICIOUS and tasted fresh. Our server was also super nice and efficient. There’s only a few tables but they were able to accommodate 8 of us. Can’t wait to visit again!

Completely underwhelmed. I love Thai food and the four dishes I ordered were all similar to my poorest experience. I have been lucky to taste delicious Thai food in multiple places throughout the US. I had the summer rolls, Tom Kha soup, the Ka Prow and the Pad Thai with shrimp. The Tom Kha soup was not seasoned correctly and the hard pieces of the lemongrass stalk and other hard herbs were not removed. The pad Thai was flavorless. The summer rolls had a half of one small and I mean very small shrimp. Finally the Ka Prow was not flavored as I have ever tasted before and was off putting. This restaurant says tapas and I realize that normally means small portions but the price reflected normal size portions. I have received much larger portions actually for a significantly lower price in many restaurants. This would not be so egregious except the flavor and food quality and the portions were both unsatisfactory.

Most pathetic Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve deficated things that would probably taste better than this establishment’s Ka Prow. The rest of the dishes were not fit for consumption. The number of positive reviews goes to show how many fake opinions have been posted.

Super! Great service, fair prices & delicious food. Not sure what else one can ask for in a restaurant. FYI the "heat" indicators on the menu are for real. The curry is amazing and if you go spicy you will get spicy. I am looking forward to going back!

Today was my first time going to Sticky Rice Thai since it opened in July of 2020. However they now have a life time customer!! I got the pad Kee mao / drunken noodles with veggies and tofu. The spice was very nice and made my lips tingling. Everything was fresh hot and amazing. My friend got the chicken fried rice and it looked sooooo good. The waitress was so nice and helpful with ordering and helping to make sure we ordered what we wanted. Thank you for your amazing food and wonderful service.

I think only 2 people work here. One in the front and one in the kitchen. It was 40 minutes from ordering to getting our food despite being almost empty... HOWEVER, it was completely worth the wait. Some of the best thai food we've ever had and we've been to ALOT of Thai places all over. Definitely top 3.

This is easily one of my new favorite restaurants in the Lewes/Rehoboth area. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. The food is delicious and affordable. I love the small plates. I am dining on my own today for relaxation purposes but will eventually come with a group to order more plates for everyone to try. They serve wine too! My waitress was inviting, kind, and attentive as well. This is a new special spot for me. I highly recommend!

The food was definitely traditional. Sticky rice was served in a banana leaf. Awesome! Curry was on point. The dish I ordered was extra spicy (supposed to be) a little sweet but that might be my fault. I would try them out the staff was friendly just a little slow, but due to covid that's normal. If you want thai give them a chance. Spend money on local business.

Can I be honest because everybody on here I feel doesn’t have a great taste in food. If you really want to taste AMAZING THAI CUISINE go to DOVER and eat at Thai Cuisine by wawa. Their food is outstanding

Absolutely amazing! I can't wait to go back and try it again. My meal (drunken noodles) was amazing and the perfect amount of heat. Papaya salad was so delicious. Perfect for dine in and take out!

Unfortunately I can’t speak on how the food is, I called and called and they didn’t answer and then they finally did and said “one sec” and I waited on the line for 25 minutes and no one ever came back, however I could hear her just talking to her co workers.

Very good but smaller portions than expected. Prices are a little high but expected during covid.

My husband and I ordered dinner from here tonight for the first time and it was just what we were craving. The spring rolls were delicious and I ate every bite of my Pad Thai. The woman who ran the front was working very hard and is very sweet. Will definitely go here again

Just had a delicious lunch from Sticky Rice. We are so pleased to find awesome Thai food here in Lewes. This rivals some of our favorites from our time in Seattle (lots of great Thai food there). We had the green curry, drunken noodles, and Tom Kha soup. All great flavor and spice.

Opening time should be earlier. You are losing so much business. Most people in the area get a 30min lunch break that starts at noon. If you open at noon then by time we get our food we cant eat it. I was so excited when I heard this place was opening but now it dont matter because i will never be able to order from them with those kinds of hours. Disappointing.

the thai beef salad was on point--fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the best I've had in 30 years! the only suggestion would be to serve the same portion on a larger plate. the spring rolls were sub par; tasted like frozen egg rolls. the thai ice tea was yummy and filling. prices reasonable. atmosphere quaint and comfortable.

The spring rolls are great. Some of the food is hot! If you don't like spicy watch the pepper symbol before ordering. Small restaurant but food is hand crafted to order. For take out order well ahead. Maybe an hour during peaks.

The place looked cute, but the food we ordered was very disappointing. The fried rice had barely a fork full of meat, no aroma and no vegetables at all. My friend said her Pad Thai was very dry, and it was also lacking vegetables, except for a lone bean sprout. The chicken satay from the appetizer section was good. Next time I am in town I will not bother stopping there, I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else. I could have made the food better myself, and I don't even consider myself a great cook. What a sad way to treat people who take the time to support a business during a pandemic.

We finally ordered dinner the other night and we are hooked! Best Pad Thai with Tofu I have had. My husband ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and said it was the best he has had in this area. Nice addition to Lewes and we will be frequent diners!

Excellent authentic tasting Thai food. The Green Curry Chicken was outstanding and had the right amount of spice that you would expect from a Thai dish. Tasted just like It had at one particular place in Thailand.

The boy and I have been here twice and both times have been absolutely exceptional!! This time we got the panang chicken and drunken noodles, best Thai we've ever had, hands down. Fresh, delicious, and so flavorful! We both like some spice and the heat levels are great! Also don't pass by on the desserts, we've gotten the rice with coconut milk and mango both times...AMAZING!

One of my favorite restaurants now. If you really like Thai food, I can't think of many places better. They are very slow, but that is because they do it right. If you want super fast Thai food, this isn't the place. but if you want awesome food by very nice people with reasonable prices, you have found it.

I absolutely love the food here!💜 The Pad Thai and green curry are definitely my favorites.🍲 And the chicken skewers are top notch! I'd recommend this a la carte menu to all cultures who enjoy a harmonious combination of sweet, salty, and a hint of spice!🤩

Did not have a positive experience. Food was not prepared mild as requested, after they indicated they would. Preparation of food had not begun at time indicated for pickup. Told to pay and wait in car They would bring to car right in front of door. They then refused to bring to car. Indicated for me to come into store when they were a few feet from car. When asked why server shrugged and walked away. And it wasn’t busy. Spring and summer rolls were good. Other food ended up in trash.

The food tastes authentic, the servings are small but filling. 10/10 it is my new go-to Thai place in Delaware

Food was very good and tasted authentic. Asked for spicy on the drunken noodles and it was actually Thai spicy which was a pleasant surprise. Glad we have a good authentic Thai restaurant in town now. I’ve already been three times now since they opened a few weeks ago.

I would 100% recommend sticky rice if you're looking for high quality thai food. With everything being made from scratch, you know your food is going to be fresh. I've tried multiple dishes from this place and each one is excellent. Also if you're a big fan of tea, make sure you try their Thai ice tea, it's to die for. The service is wonderful and the staff are polite and friendly. If you go by this place, make sure to check it out and support our wonderful small businesses!

Over all not bad. The Stir fried Veg with Ka-Tiam sauce was very good but portion very small. Not a meal more of a side dish. Veg Fried Rice was ok but a little bland. Papaya salad was awesome and the food wasn’t greasy so that’s a plus. Worth trying again.

Amazing food! Probably the best Thai I’ve ever had. My only reason for 4 stars and not 5: my summer roles stuck to the cardboard box they came in and the whole bottom half was covered in cardboard. Other than that everything was delicious
