Unfussy strip-mall eatery offering a range of Asian dishes from Thai to sushi in simple environs.
My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE Nasi. For about a year, we went there twice a month. We've tasted, I'm pretty sure, everything on their menu. Their curry chicken is my favorite, he loves the Malaysian chicken. Their duck was SO good. Their sushi is SO FRESH & so delicious. Their Tom Yum soup is delicious & so filling. Their prices, portions, service, and flavors are UNMATCHED.
They've recently added more seating and re-did their lobby-- very cute.
We're forever customers.
Three of us went for dinner and had some good food. Two off us were vegetarian.
There are options to choose from. We had Green Chilli Curry, Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai.
The drunken noodles were a good but not wow, it was missing something(not sure what), but the rest of the food was great.
I’d definitely come here again.
I was really hoping for some decent sushi place around here but I do have to agree with others ... If you want sushi not where I would pick. Some of the rolls fell apart when picking it up. But the Thai food was good. Recommend the Tom Yum if you like spicy noodles.
Service was interesting, mixed feelings at the table. Some found the service ok(minimal interaction) But others felt the waitress was rude and rushed.
tl;dr just get Thai food takeout and not sushi
We regularly order sushi from here because it is great, but in recent weeks I guess they'd shifted their menu to include some "bowl" items (e.g. Japanese Curry Bowl, Poke Bowl,...) We wanted to try, and so we got the Unagi Bowl and the Crab and Shrimp Tempura Bowl. Both were a bit underwhelming. The portion sizes were very small for $15 (depicted in the image is the Unagi Bowl). I understand there is inflation, and you could even argue that Unagi is expensive, but even the Crab and Shrimp Tempura Bowl was 80% rice. Just a few months ago I had a very nice Unagi Bowl from a restaurant in CA, which had a good amount of greens and was at least double in size for $18. Sure this is not CA, but just given the difference, I do not think I'll order the bowls again. I recommend they bring back a few more of their previous sushi options: Spicy Shrimp, for example.
Have always loved going here for a nice date night meal, the food has always been delicious and the staff very friendly, but stopped in the other day and the whole atmosphere we loved is gone. They got rid of the cozy booths and sleek sophisticated design, and replaced it with a cafeteria or food court look. We walked out as soon as we saw and went elsewhere. Will still go there for take out as the food has always been awesome (hopefully that hasn't changed), but sadly will never eat in again. It was our favorite restaurant!😫😢
I was reminiscing with my husband of how I miss coming here due to the atmosphere, the staff and the good food. We went in once to dine in some months back and walked right back out because the intimate atmosphere was gone! You couldn’t even have a private conversation if you wanted. We have ordered takeout only once since then but saw they no longer have our favorite roll. When we frequented of course the food was good. Can’t really speak for it now but if you want an intimate date, this would not be the place.
Randomly decided to go here for lunch one day and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the decor is modern and creates a really nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I swear my water glass was never more than half empty before someone was stopping by to refill it, and my server also got me in and out really efficiently as I mentioned I was on my lunch break. I will be making this a regular lunchtime stop as they are close to work and have a menu full of tasty food that I look forward to trying.
Hidden gem. You should definitely go check ot out . We decided try it during valentine day and loved everything . Prompt service , tasty food . Great atmosphere . Can’t wait to go back .

We go here a lot, the food is good and the price isn't bad. However last night our takeout order had hair in it and I don't think we'll be returning.
Wait staff was attentive and engaged. Food was quick and delicious. Nothing bad to say at all

Went to have some sushi rolls today. They didn't have the rolls we wanted on the menu. Not a lot of rolls on the menu at all. However, we're told we could buy those by the pound. Not buying sushi by the pound that has been sitting out for who knows how long. We had a few fresh rolls. But the tuna roll was a bit dark in color. I couldn't eat it. Hopefully hubs doesn't get sick from it. And the cheese pockets were way more pocket than cheese. Very disappointing. Last time I went, there I loved it. Must've changed owners. Won't waste my time and money again.
Not as good after recent renovations. They got rid of their best roll!
This placed used to be good. The food quality became worse. Never ordering again.
Very very long wait time for pick up ever since inside spend up terrible for pick ip

Stopped in for lunch with my kiddos Saturday AM, not busy at all, the waitress was very attentive and quick. You can’t find that kind of customer service at most places. The food was done in less than 10 minutes and we ordered a lot. I was worried about taking the kids since it was right before nap but we were in and out. Food was great as always. I find the food here is more fresh and light compared to other places. Great pad Thai and sushi.
Horrible customer service. The food is sub par and inconsistent in quality and flavor. In addition they seem to have a problem serving people of color. We will never use them again.
Taste is good, except for the oil. Too much of oil.

Been coming here as a regular for years, and they got rid of my favorite sushi rolls. The firecracker roll and the manhattan roll are gone. I got them every time. I am so sad, I love this place but now I no longer have a reason to come here.
The sushi and pad Thai were both very tasty and prices are reasonable. Service was very friendly.
The sushi and pork dumplings were good. The drunken noodles looked flavorful but was bland. I ordered through DoorDash so I can’t speak for the price since DoorDash ups the prices.
Not very happy at all. Just picked up my (2) Tuna Rolls for lunch. The tuna was 50% fat. Will not be going back anytime soon.
Overall food and service experience were good but there are few things I just wanted to point out as a POV. I ordered the Yummy sushi roll and the crabmeat and shrimp tempura over sushi rice, the shrimp tempura is cold and not crunchy, just plain HARD and the sushi rice on the other dish was COLD and slightly hard.
Satay chicken and Mee Siam was GREAT!!!!
Thai tea is okay.
My husband and I eat here about every other week. The staff know us and know our favorite items - they are extremely attentive. The food is consistently excellent. And the price is very reasonable. Can't wait to see the new interior when they are done refurbishing.
Consistently excellent food
I am sick and only wanted soup. So i ordered the wonton soup. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with noodles. Love it! The broth came in a seperate container so i could pour it over the noodles, wontons, and bok choy so they didnt get soggy. I love this soup!!! I can easily make 2 meals out of. Completely recommend!
Caring staff. Quick service. TASTY!!!!
Food was not good at all.
Who puts big chunks of pickled jalapeño peppers in a sushi roll?
I feel like they just hired someone whose last job was changing oil at Jiffy Lube to make sushi… just awful.
And the Singapore rice noodle dish had a bunch of shredded romaine lettuce on it?!?
Yikes… find somewhere else to eat.
The food was great. Kitchen was fast. Staff was nice. Didn’t break the bank either. Definitely coming back. Very good place.
Great waiter too
I have been here a few times and like their food and sittings as well as the owner and the servers. The food is prepared fresh and is very tasty.
In Deleware for a quick stopover for Thai food. Being from Maryland and driving back home my wife wanted thai food.
We found one and sge ordered takeout. I ordered a noodle dish.
What I got was a rectangular plastic container barely filled with noodles, barely filled I say!
I paid $13 bucks for seriously less than a handful of noodles. Talk about inflation, this is not the place to go if your looking for value!
Best sushi in town. The service is awesome. Very friendly
One of the first places where we were repeat customers 2 years ago when we moved to Delaware. There was always a line out the door and something like a 30-40 minute wait for takeout on weekends. Now, their app is broken, food came out after 15 (yes, FIFTEEN!) minutes and was barely edible, and we spent $40 on food that doesn't taste even remotely like it did. Not sure what happened here, but stay far away.
Had the drunken noodle lunch special, it was good. I do wish there was a spice scale offered to tailor each dish to your spice preference as I did not find this to be very spicy. It was still great though. Service was impeccable, very kind and attentive staff. While I was sitting in my car I seen one of the food runners go out of their way to leave their spot and open the door for an elderly woman to get inside. While inside to pick up my order the atmosphere looked very nice. There is a bar inside which offers happy hour deals. I will be back to try more lunch specials!
Not only does this restaurant serve Malay and Thai food, it also serves Canto Chinese food as well.
Perfect! Great food, price and friendly staff
I dream about the Tom Yum soup. If I order $115 worth of food, it is for more than one person. Please send more chopsticks
Three of us went for dinner and had some good food. Two off us were vegetarian.

Would give (0) stars if possible, however the young lady at the "to go" window was very pleasant, so the 1-star is more justifiable. I'm going to cut right to the chase, the food here is not good at all. If you've experienced authentic southeast Asian cuisine, you will be deeply disappointed. Yesterday was my second and last time ordering from this place. The Lo mein was flavorless and the mango sticky rice was unappetizingly disgusting. The mango was sour and included just a few strips.
When my family comes up from Texas they absolutely love it.. he said the best chicken and broccoli he's ever had.
I like hot and spicy they can make it a spicy as you want. Thank you Dennis
Personally I like the lettuce wraps I like hot and spicy
I ordered hot water with my food and used a teabag I brought. The waitress came over to tell me no outside food. I can’t use my teabag. I was charged for the water so I’m not sure why they made an issue. She was very rude. I’m a regular customer that comes in weekly. I will not be back again. Totally inappropriate to be so rude over a tea bag.
What a hidden gem! Pad thai was incredible, the perfect amount of spice. Entire staff was attentive and kind.
They close at 930 but at 9:00 they are closed. Sounds like they close at 9pm not 930
Service was great! Soda cup NEVER went dry. Food was served hot and fresh. Friendly faces all around. We had both a Thai dish and a Sushi dish, both fantastic.
Forcing customers to give tips. Adding it to bill forcefully.
Had a wonderful early dinner there with my family :)
Food looked good but tasted terrible. Pad Thai was all mushy and had no flavor. Drunken noodles tasted like the char on a grill.
This is a great little spot. They take orders online which you can schedule ahead. Their food is awesome. Highly recommend their drunken noodles.
Excellent!!!
Best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Sushi is always fresh.
Food quality and quantity was not great in 2024 when compared to 2022.
Wonderful gluten free fried rice!
Was pumped when I saw such a well rated thai/Chinese place.
But the dishes somehow tastes like whoever made it has tasted neither thai or Chinese food before.
Chicken dish was a soggy, soupy mess.
Love the drunken noodle dish. Spicy, but love it. Other dishes are good as well. Haven't tried the sushi.
This is our go-to place for Thai and sushi. The drunken noodles are excellent and so is the pad thai.
Service is fast but for some reason food never comes out at the same time.
There's also Sapporo on tap.
Overall, a great place for a weekday dinner stop.
Amazing food always fresh
We went here for dinner. We ordered our appetizers first, then we got soup, my husband the the hot spicy soup, chicken pieces were so big. Then they bought out our dinner, & I told them to bring it back. Not happy with the Singapore noodles at all. Will not go back.
Love this place ! I go here every other week with friends and always enjoy my visit. The place is clean and friendly, their menu is great and has many options to try and the service is excellent. I usually get the eel roll and general chicken. Normally the location is not to busy which i love because of the fast service and they also have an order online and pick up option. Been here several times and im always coming back for more and try new things from the menu.
You order over $40 worth of food and only receive 2 …. 2 soy sauces . Not to mention , no utensils or napkins . But TWO soy sauces ? The portions have shrunk tremendously as well . Use to eat here all the time , it’s nothing but disappointments current day .
Will more than likely be the last time eating from here , for good ✌🏽
I mostly eat out from here, but times I've ate inside no complaints. I love it here.
Sushi was great and the shrimp fried rice was delicious too
Very tasty food. Good service. Small place. Not crowded. Convenient shopping center.
I have been searching for a Thai restaurant for drunken noodles and this was the best I’ve had in awhile! Will definitely be back.
I've been there a few times before, and I don't think I'll ever go again。Because I was dining there the other night, and the sushi chef, a middle-aged man, picked his nose at the sushi bar, which is disgusting and has no work ethic, But I can't eat anymore when I see this person like that should be fired , So I would advise people not to go to this restaurant,It's disgusting。
I have not had food in the restaurant but ordered a couple of times because I do like the taste. My problem is their quantity, the price of their dishes is higher than the regular Asian places but the quantity is much lesser. Especially Roti Canai, the curry they give for 2 rotis is like 4 spoons which is ridiculous. I'm okay to pay more but atleast provide the required quantity for a meal.
Wings are great and flavorful fried rice
Pad Thai said it was spicy on the menu. Wasn't spicy, I guess you have to ask for it to be spicy.
Decent ambience, taste of food is average. service is ok. When we went for dinner, i could guess that its a family restaurant as we saw everyone roaming around in pajamas. Ordered red curry, shrimp tempura roll, green salad, pad thai, and thai basil rice. The Red curry was ok but had a strong tadka which wasn’t required. The lettuce was wilted in the green salad. The sushi roll was dry and stale. Pad thai had no taste at all. The thai basil rice i asked them to make it spicy, it tasted amazing, very much like the indo chinese you get in mumbai. but had no salt at all. Just to update the chef i told the server that ‘I am having the rice but it has no salt, plz let the chef know’
The chef came to me agitated and said that she has added all the required ‘sauces’ and thats how the rice is made. I had to explain her that the rice had no salt, after listening to that she didn’t reply anything but started talking in her regional language to her family members sitting around us. Very rude staff. As if they don’t care about the customers at all.
Good food
We uber eats our food and it was amazing!!! We had the green curry vegetables and fried pineapple chicken rice and both were so delicious! The curry had so much flavor and so many veggies!! I absolutely loved it!! I can't wait to try more of their dishes!!
Insanely delicious. Red curry with eggplant 💥
Best sushi around
Got the roti canai, drunken noodles and the basil Thai fried rice. All of them were good. Just that the meals had little less salt in them but the roti canai was the highlight and must try.
A local to the restaurant. Smaller restaurant with quick service and consistently delicious food. One of THE BEST Pad Thai’s around, also can’t go wrong with the cheese pocket. Pretty fair price for the quality of the food.
Not a place I would go to for sushi. The rolls ood . The Thai lunch entries had good flavor. I would prefer Thai hot as to the mild heat.
This spot Is the spot. Great food great service
Good food
Good tuna and spicy tuna rolls.
All the staff was so friendly and the food was absolutely divine!! I really loved the food here. The spice was perfect. So far I’ve gotten two of the rice dishes and some sushi and everything has been perfect! I will be coming here any time I stop in DE.
It was our first time here and it was great!
Our server was so nice and very friendly.
Pad Thai was our favorite, Thai basil fried rice, not so much. It tasted .. off? Not like the kind I usually have. But they have a lot of other items that I'm excited to try. Will become regulars from now on!
This place is amazing! I believe it may be family owned and operated. Food is exceptional as is the service. Absolutely cannot beat the price point. We were in town for five days and went three times! Highly recommend their sushi and Singapore Noodles. We have gluten allergies and we’re able to eat here without any reactions whatsoever. We will definitely return next year when we’re passing through!
I understood “No outside food and drink” policy, but I was told not to drink bottled water inside the restaurant. I explained that I don’t drink tap water from any restaurant, even though they are forcing me to stopping drink my own bottles water. I was so shocked and disappointed in the service they provided.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our dinner here. Delicious food and friendly service.
Pretty good sushi.
Omg the house rice is banging!! Definitely top 5 for Thai in Delaware.
Really upsetting as this place used to be decent. Placed a large order today and the sushi was just 'okay' my fried rice was burnt and my girlfriends chicken and broccoli was closer to a soup than a 'rice dish
I will not be returning and suggest others to do the same
Amazing service, great specialty rolls and appetizers. Fair pricing, Highly recommend.
Pad Thai was ...OK. But it was my 1st Pad Thai ever, so I don't have enough to base it off of. Waitress was attentive, but would've been nice to see a smile. Will try it again. I like the atmosphere & the menu options & they DO offer cocktails.
Wow .. really wow! One of the best Thai restaurants we have been to. The flavor of each dish was great 👍
We had Pad Thai, Beef Rangdang & Drunken Noodles.
We LOVE Nasi Malay! We do not live here full time, but we always choose Nasi when we are in town. It is one of the ONLY healthy options in this area. We have been coming here for at least a year and we just dined in yesterday for the first time. We have always done Take Out from here on our way home from work and Nasi has been so good to us & our bellies for months now when we don't have the energy to cook dinner. We are OBSESSED with the Roti Pancake appetizer. These are so good and very affordable. We crave these all of the time! The sauce that comes with it is so delicious and great for dipping. We always get the edamame as well and that is always perfectly cooked. We usually get the Pad Thai or another entree and we've enjoyed all of those as well. Yesterday we tried the Thai Tea and that was good too! We haven't had the sushi here- we will always stick with our usual Thai fare. Keep up the good work Nasi! <3 John 3:16
Food was good. Service was a little slow considering how empty it was and they closed earlier than posted. Will go back.
Best around, try the chicken curry
I have came here many times and every time I’ve enjoyed it. I loved the appetizers such as the roti canai and the veggie dumplings and I especially love the red curry here. However, this time I came and had super spicy drunken noodle. I was excited to try something new but upon tasting it I was disappointed with how it turned out. The noodles were just bland, it tasted like plain noodle without any seasoning. Next time I’ll come and order anything but the drunken noodle.
Stopped in for a quick bite on the way to Dover. The service was fast and courteous. The food was out of this world. We only had a few appetizers . Can't wait to try more items from the menu. The roti we had was crisp not greasy yet not paper thin. Highly recommend Nasi Malay for the food, service and adventure. Your taste buds will thank you! Update 6/26/23 stopped in for Roti again. Out of this world. Tried the wasabi dumplings this time.👍👍👍
I love coming here, the sushi is the best in the area and they have great vegetarian options!
First time dining here was absolutely amazing! Customer service was good. We got treated and got our food ASAP!! The chicken broccoli came in a big bowl & rice which tasted like a dream come true! We also order the pineapple chicken fried rice it was okay, but worth trying it out!
The restaurant was clean and modern.
Would definitely come back and try new food!!
First time visiting and it will be my last. The food was okay; nothing to brag about. The service was practically non-existent. Hi and bye is what we got, other than "ready to order".
I used to give 5 stars but things seem to be changing. The roti canai used to be a favorite of ours, now it seems premade out of a package instead of handmade and we don't like the taste anymore. Spring rolls are tiny and sauce cups are partially filled. I feel like I pay a lot of money to have to beg for soy sauce. We didn't even receive one packet per item even though I specifically asked. My favorite sushi rolls are no longer on the menu. I may only order fried rice from now on but will make sure I have soy sauce at home.
I LITERALLY enjoyed the .99 cent box of Pad Thai noodles from the supermarket much better than the ones from here. Sadly, I ordered 3 orders for myself and 2 family members since it was their top dish. We all ended up throwing it in the trash. The Coconut shrimp are not the ones pictured and are seemingly a frozen brand. I will say that although they only fill the small dipping sauce container up 1/4 full (literally), it is pretty good if you love pineapple. If you ask for a little more of any sauce, they tack on more money of course. Not sure why the spring rolls are their top three most liked item, I just did not feel that they were anything to write home about. I mostly remember them being thin and tiny. Nothing fancy here at all. I called to let them know that we did not enjoy the dish but they did not seem to care to accommodate by offering something different. Perhaps because of their many good reviews which are frankly quit baffling to me. This is my second time ordering from here in 5 years thinking I'd give them another try and order something different this time but both times that I ordered was a Total NO for me.
I waited to write this review because I thought my first two orders were too good to be true. The third order was just as great! The General Tso’s is by far the BEST around. The bok choy is fresh and the sauce has perfect heat. The Thai Basil Fried Rice and Pork Dumplings are also incredible. This spot is a hidden gem!
I was not a fan. I got the Malaysian general Tso chicken. It looked good but didn’t taste good. It was very salty and sweet, but not much other flavor. I couldn’t taste much chicken - it tasted like each piece was mostly breading. The cheese pocket (description was similar to crab Rangoon) tasted bad and the sauce was overly sour. I got 4 small pieces for $8 which was a rip off. Just no
Food is great whether you dine in or take out but the take out never gives you the necessary amount of chop sticks even when you specifically put in the comments 2 chop sticks.
We went there for roti and also ordered lettuce wraps. They were so good. I have not had roti since I moved from NJ. I was very impressed with the quality and taste of their food. I will definitely be back. Si glad we found this place.
Terrible food, called to complain the cashier said we will take it back after reaching the store the cashier was being rude and giving us trouble to give us refund.
Food and customer service were awful. The food felt tasteless and the cashier was being very rude and short tempered. He said not to order from this place again.
Worst place ever. Poor customer service .
We ordered the Pad Thai and Malaysian Roast Pork. Both were delicious, so we ordered 3 sushi rolls to go. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return to try other dishes!
Fantastic, in almost every way fresh great tasting food, affordable, clean, friendly, and fast
This place is a great spot for a quick lunch.
I've only done take out but I'm a regular. The food is great. The rice is very well cooked and seasons ate on point. The prep time is really fast. Dumplings are done perfectly.
The beef was fatty, rubbery, and not cooked long enough. I asked for a glass instead of a styrofoam cup for my drink and was rudely told that glasses were for alcohol only, so no cup for me. Malay food isnt Thai food if you want Thai go somewhere else.
Ordered take out food from establishment, called and asked if we could have a drink at bar and eat our food we just ordered, straight out of to go boxes and was told we can not do that. Have to take your to go order and eat it somewhere else, asked to speak with manager about this and employee did not give me to a manager. I Asked if we could sit and order a new order at bar and was told “if you come here, I’m not going to take your order bro”
Used to love this place & so disappointed. This place does not care about customer service whatsoever.
Food was very delicious and you can tell they used quality ingredients! And they also kept the prices very reasonable. Nice seating as well, definitely recommend
Food was good, efficient service.
No complaints here. The service was fast and The food was great.
Food is always great! I love that I can choose how spicy my food is (very spicy). We always get take out and they get busy so it’s a pretty long wait on weekends. The portions are a little smaller than most places but it’s better quality ingredients so it’s to be expected.
Some of the worst sushi I’ve had in DE by far. First impression was the sushi is absolutely tiny, smallest I’ve seen. Second impression was the cooked salmon roll tasted really off, way too fishy for some reason, never had one taste so bad, perhaps a bad fish, either way I wasted my money and won’t be finishing it. The cheese wontons had basically 10% cheese 90% crust. They gave such little sweet chili sauce it was impossible to even dip the wonton into the to go cup and get the wonton coated. They need to make this right.
Management was very rude when they gave me someone else's order. Told me not to come back.
I just went here and placed an order to go while I was waiting I sat at the bar to have a drink or two. The bartender was very attentive to anything I needed while also serving others in the surrounding booths. The food came out quicker then what I expected and was also very good I highly recommend trying this restaurant out
Really pricey for those small portion of food even taking inflation into consideration.
Love the sushi, tunni bread excellent
Excellent menu. Have not tried the sushi, but the Thai and Malay offerings were as good as any in New York's Chinatowns. We've dined there almost a dozen times and have yet to be disappointed!
