Stumbled on this place on the drive from Boston to New York and we're so glad we decided to stop here! The food was delicious and the owners were very nice and helpful. I was craving sushi and suggested we just pick up some cheap rolls from big y (who doesn’t love the yummy roll?) and I wish we did. This place was awful! Everything we ordered was bad. There’s no other way to describe give it. The sushi was made with poor quality ingredients, the crab Rangoon and veggie curry puff’s practically had nothing in them and my husband ordered pork fried rice but received chicken instead. Regardless of these details, all of the food was basically inedible. You can taste the cheap cream cheese that they use in the Philadelphia roll so I don’t even want to imagine where they get their salmon and seafood from. The worst part of this experience is the fact that it was outrageously expensive. Run, don’t walk away from this place. It’s not worth any of your money. One star is being generous, Google needs to come up with a no star option. Looking at the other w reviews, seems like everyone spends $80 here regardless of what you order.

The flavors these guys make are insane good, but being charged $10 for a tiny portion of overcooked egg rice, I left mad.

This is a must resturant to go to when travelling from New York to Hartford and beyond. The resturant atmosphere was so authentic amd homely !!! Mr Dan, the owner was so professional, friendly and dedicated to ensure we felt comfortable during the dining. The dishes were nice and the portion was generous and was served within a short time which is really amazing !!!

As someone who loves soup and especially loves Thai food, this place has the best pho I’ve ever had. Everyone there is so sweet and me and my family are regulars. The vibes are great and all of the cute elephant decorations make it the perfect restaurant for a yummy meal. We really recommend the soups and curries.

The food is fantastic if here. The Red Pork Fried rice is so good, my whole family gets it! It's the best pork fried rice by far. I liked the Pad Thai as well when I have had it before. I'm not a huge mango fan, but the Mango Delight is ridiculously delicious. They have a lot of menu options as well. You need this!

Exemplary pad see ew dish. Simple yet wonderful tuna sushi roll. Chicken wonton soup also tasted perfect. Will surely return soon. Thanks for everything.

Pleasantly surprised. Was actually looking for a Chinese restaurant when we stumbled across this place. The food was really tasty. I had the Chicken Stir-fry with Udon noodles...all gone. Dad had the fried rice. It was better than Chinese fry rice. Mom had Drunken Noodle with squid. Very flavorful. I'm bummed they are not closer to where I live.

Hibachi did not look or taste like the typical hibachi. The meat looked pale and tasted bland. It was drowning in some sort of light brown bland sauce and we had to doctor it up with Banchan sauce. The pad Thai was mildly spicy but tasted nothing like a pad Thai. The only decent item we got was the crab rangoon but how badly could you go wrong with fried cream cheese and crab meat in a wonton wrapper. This was honestly a disappointing meal.

I enjoy for appetizer Chicken Dumpling soup and Crab Rangoon.For entree I love Chicken Drunken Noodle without Noodle Medium Spicy. For Dessert I recommend the Fried Banana with Green Tea ice cream! For my drink I enjoy Banana Milk with Tapioca Boba. Yum!

Food is no good. The noodles are so soggy that they're falling apart. Grilled beef tastes like rubber.

We were the only ones in the place… asked for water for the table did not know would be charged for water bottles, none of the food tasted like Thai food. FANTASTIC! Cozy, family-run place with large portions. Everything is consistently delicious. Sirinan switched over to take out during the pandemic, but recently they resumed the dine in option. They are super friendly. They will also make gluten free dishes. I eat a lot of Thai food and this place is my favorite.
I highly recommend! The negative reviews here don't make any sense and are inconsistent with my years of eating here.

So far I've only had their boba tea, but it's delicious! Ambience is nice and calm and intimate, would make for a great date place.

Went with my husband ordered appetizers the chicken satay was delicious (hence the 2 star) when our meals came out the chicken had a weird smell and taste it, so we ate around the chicken. When the owner asked us about our meal, our feedback didn’t matter I was informed how the chicken was cooked and I wasn’t served bad chicken (we never accused this just told him it was not what we are used to of when ordering Thai food) we were then asked if we wanted to take the rest of our meals home? For the price of our meal definitely not worth it, since there are other mediocre places around for less and actually use spices properly.

Had lunch for 2 and we were greeted warmly on a cold day. The host suggested a couple hot teas to start and they didnt disappoint. Went to appetizers and then soups. Food came out promptly and hot. The grilled Satay chicken was a bit over grilled and dry. Teas were good. Soups were fresh but lacked flavor. A bit watered down. Main course ginger with scallops was a bit lacking of the ginger flavor but still very good. Cost was a bit pricey at $80 for two considering it was lunch. Quality was ok but not great and price was out of line with what you can get from other Thai / Oriental restaurants in the area.

The curry is really awesome, both chicken and seafood. The spring rolls and peanut sauce is also out of this world good. Food is well prepared and very friendly service.

I wish I could leave no starts for the review. Worst customer service off all!! Don’t even respect the customer!! Ordered couple of times before for stir fry sea food udon before by phone, all went we’ll. Unfortunately, today, I went in there to order. The cashier (a white man with a broken arm) started to acting very unfriendly after he saw my Asian face. He pretended he couldn’t understand what I was ordering and kept making fun on my order. Don’t understand why do they put him on that position if he’s racist!! Will never order from them again!

Dropping a star for the prices. I get inflation, especially now, but they're higher than what I pay along the shoreline by quite a bit which is usually the opposite.

The food is always great though but so is a lot of the Thai competition in Wallingford. Curries, noodles, anything with basil, all hit the spot. Never tried the Japanese stuff here but it's a Thai restaurant. For Japanese, I'll go to a Japanese restaurant.

I am a long time customer of this restaurant and appreciate the service and atmosphere every time I order or dine in (pre-COVID). I’ve even brought in new customers and turned them on to this restaurant, that’s how much I like them. But I literally just called to see if they were open for dine in yet and the response I received was unnecessarily rude and distasteful! I was beyond shocked bc I’ve gotten to know the owners and it’s the same one who answers the phone every time. I simply asked if they were open for dine in yet and instead of a simple no, I got a harsh response of “Absolutely not! I will not jeopardize the health and safety of myself and my employees!” I replied with a shocked, oh ok, I was just checking (because this restaurant is not close to me). And he just hung up on me before I could barely end my sentence!

I was so shocked and disturbed by it, I had to take a moment before I decided what to do next. Since I like the place so much, I thought I’d give them a second chance before I wrote a review (obviously it didn’t go well bc here I am!) I called back saying hey, I just called with a simple question and the response I received was rude and unnecessary. I understand your feelings about safety, but instead you could have simply replied “no, just take out and delivery. I order from here a lot and I’m just shocked by the response, it didn’t have to be so rude”. Note: I was interrupted after the first sentence, with the same attitude, but I stood my ground and continued to tell him the better way to have answered my question. And the reply I got at the end was “ok, I’ll tell the supervisor about the rudeness”. And just as I was about to reply, again, he hung up on me. Remember: HE is the owner. WHO is he telling, his wife, the co owner?! LIES! And even if it was another employee, why would they tell on themselves, that’s just dumb. I am DEFINITELY taking a break from this place and not bringing anymore friends and family here!

Ordered from DoorDash, got steamed dumplings and chicken fried rice. Dumplings were actually pretty good and gave me hope. The chicken fried rice was amazingly bland. Definitely the least flavorful Thai fried rice I’ve ever had. Portion was generous enough, but what does it matter when it doesn’t taste worth eating?

Worst Japanese food I ever had. California rolls had a mushy rice surrounding it. The rice was so thick and soft it was disgusting. The dinners had so much oil in them. The chicken teriyaki was terrible you couldn’t even taste the teriyaki sauce because of the excess amount of soy sauce in it. Definitely do not recommend..

Bought the volcano chicken, came with a bunch of fried bits of chicken and a small side of sauce. They charge extra for more sauce. Food is over priced. I’ve had better from similar restaurants. Look up volcano chicken if you aren’t familiar with it there’s a major difference.

So the negative comments are clearly from freeloaders that couldn't scam their way to a free meal. This place is incredible. They have the second best drunken noodles I've ever had, only to a little place in Bangkok I frequented during my 6 month stay there. I have ordered several times within the past few months and have never had anything close to an issue (but if you want Thai Hot, indicate so!). Simply a gem.

Wanted to give this place a try so we ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp, chicken pad Thai and wontons. The fried rice was the best of the 3. Good flavor and large portion. though we could have used more shrimp, they were cooked nicely. I wasn't a fan of the wontons or the sauce they came in. They're like the "golden baskets" I've seen from other Thai places. These were overcooked and dry. My wife thought they were okay though.

Pad Thai is usually how I judge Thai restaurants and this was probably the strangest and worst I've ever eaten. The noodles were thin angel hair and the sauce was red and sweet. NOTHING like traditional pad Thai you're probably used to getting. Not sure if it's a regional thing, but we figured out they added tomato paste to their sauce. I don't mind something different if it tasted good but it definitely flopped. We only ordered it since it was the only Thai restaurant that had zero delivery fee at that moment. I'll skip it next time and just pick up from another place I usually go to.

My husband ordered the fried rice with chicken and the rice was very overcooked… With the consistency of Mashed potatoes and there was barely any flavor. When postmates f-ed up my order, never sent it, and left me confused and hungry for over an hour, these guys really came through. I would give 10 stars to the staff if I could who took the time to converse with me on the phone, provide solutions and eventually, deliver me exceptional drunken (or as I call them hangover) noodles promptly and piping hot. The food was good, the service was A+ despite a setback that was out of their hands, and the spice was authentic as I asked.

3 stars for the Thai food we usually get from Sirinan which is awesome and deserves 10 stars. But only 3 stars today because I ordered Pho from this place and it was super salty and tasted nothing like pho. Please stick to making Thai food only.

I wish I can give this place a zero star rate, I literally paid over $50.00 and got like 4 things and it was nastyyyyy, I had plain everything after I asked for certain kind of food (no sauce) . When I asked for a refund they said no, I did not touch the food and still they could not even refund me. Don't even bother with this place. They will get your order wrong and over charge you plus its not even good.

Ordered through GrubHub - we had a large order over $120, the order was missing one order of spring rolls. I called the reatruant and they insisted that both were in the bag. They refused to do anything basically called us liars. I really do not like leaving places bad reviews anywhere (as my review history shows) but this is the first place that truly deserves it for poor service.

The food is good but take out service is awful. A 35 minute order turned in 2 hours. I will never again order from here. They are never on time but 2 hours is unprofessional and out if line.

Second time here. I am no expert on thai or Japanese food but this place is excellent. Great service and the food is amazing. Lunch portions ate large and satisfying. Soft music playing in the background makes for a very relaxing experience.

Wonderful food

Very disappointed in my recent take-out order.
The avocado on my sushi roll and avocado in my avocado crabmeat salad was bad (black). Also, the avocado crabmeat only contained about a tablespoon of crabmeat. I would expect more crabmeat for the $9.95 price since the rest of the salad was only avocado, lettuce and tomato.

I’n not sure what changes occurred at Sirinan's recently but they used to be our “go to” place for good quality asian food,
I guess we need to look for a replacement restaurant.

Food is always amazing if your in the wallingford area definitely grab some noodles and a Thai iced tea. Way I order is Drunken noodle style but pad thai noodles instead always my go to! Thanks Sirinan's.

The crab fried rice is AMAZING, definitely a must try dish !

Ordered the pineapple fried rice with vegetables (no egg or tofu) and it was delicious. Had some veggie curry puffs for an appetizer and they were also delicious. They reminded me of somosas just a little lighter and fluffier. The wait staff was incredibly kind and responsive which made the dinning experience even better. I would recommend this place to others and will be going back.

Old food that tasted spoiled. Refused to take entree off the tab even though it wasn’t eaten. Just terrible service and food.

Good restaurant with fast seating and service. I personally go for the spicy soup for lunch, but have tried several very good selections.

Omgosh guys this food is amazing! You have to have to have to try this place if you are ever in the area. Really nice atmosphere, loads of interesting artwork to look at. The service left my heart warm and glowing, very traditional and beautiful. Did I mention the food? Holy cow! Try the duck!

This is our "go to" favorite restaurant! The food is excellent, the price is right, the atmosphere is pleasant and the environment is SPOTLESS, which makes Sirinan's a great place to dine. Lunch or dinner is great there, they have a plentiful menu and the staff is outrageously courteous and very helpful and quick. We have met Sirinan and her husband (owners) of this fabulous eatery, and they too are above par, helpful and cheerful always greeting us with friendly "hi"s and hellos when we visit. We feel they are our friends and feel we will always get the best food and service when we go there to eat. I highly recommend for adults.

Extensive menu, with different types of Asian Cuisine. If you're looking for a great coconut soup, also called tom kha gai, This Is The Place To Go. Staff is super courteous with long-term employees. I have never been disappointed.

The portions are extremely small. They give you a half of a cup of soup.

Never liked them but went for a 2nd go its been a few years. Not much better.

Spicy soup consisted of two shrimp with tomatoes green scallions and mushrooms. Not particularly amazing.

Spicy tuna roll was meh and drenched in sauce. I took a pic.

Curry puffs were bland and came with what seemed to be duck sauce which did not help.

Friendly service but no way am I coming back. I do remember that they had good yellow curry but too bad I wasn't in the mood for that.
Needs much higher quality food for the prices they charge.

Ate here for Valentine's day. It was delicious and the just little bit extra they put into the presentation of the vegetables show the effort and care put into the meal. I had the spicy eggplant and my husband had the pineapple fried rice.

Sirinan restaurant is very good, all those bad reviews you got , clearly states that it is all fake customers, don't pay attention to them. They don't know what good food is!!!

They’re THIEVES with Extremely terrible customer service!!! They sneak and take pictures of your credit card after you’re done paying. I was lucky enough to catch her (the manager/ owner)and call her out on it to insist she deleted my credit card off her phone. The only good thing in here is probably ..Uhmm..lemme think ..NOTHING!! Do not eat anything off the menu it STINKS and can definitely make you feel like throwing up.

One of our family favorite go to restaurants and the staff are great.

Tried this place on good reviews, I was not impressed. My hibachi chicken was a taste-lacking chicken stir fry rather than stir fry and my suishi roll was not well constructed and the eel didn’t taste right. Another buyer beware, no lunch specials on weekends, so too pricy for poor quality.

Average strip mall Asian food. If the food isn't spicy there's not much special about it. Friendly staff.

My fiance and I are Vegan (about 8 years now) and were looking for a place to meet up with a non-vegan couple. We ordered the fresh rolls (not fried, ask for no egg inside) to start (comes with 4 large pieces) and a ton of food we were not expecting to come with a choice of soup or salad and rice.

Everything I ordered was delicious and the service was great, especially for New Year's Eve. I substituted the "miso or clear soup" option with the "Galanga Broth" with vegetable and it was sinfully rich and delicious. I highly recommend it. P:

My main course was the "Massamun Curry" with tofu and vegetable - yet another rich base, but with notes of peanut that did not clash in the way you would think. Very filling and I just couldn't finish but am looking forward to my next-day lunch of coconut curry. 🍛❤

Food was good but I have to knock a star off because it was a bit pricey and smaller than expected sushi roll.

Really amazing food and staff. Outside looks nothing like inside. Inside beautifully decorated. Family friendly if your looking for an "experience". My small children loved the food
