We were in the mood for Thai food last night. So, I opened up Google maps and typed in Thai food and lo and behold this place popped up in Seymour, about 10 minutes from my home. I have to say it was a nice surprise for both of us. I didn’t know this restaurant existed. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. He takes care of the dining room and his wife, her friend, and their son do all the cooking in the kitchen. It’s a nice family run operation. We started out with two appetizers, the chicken satay, and the Thai spring rolls. Both were very good and very flavorful. For our entrées, my partner had the red curry with chicken and I had the yellow curry with chicken. We also shared the drunken noodles with chicken that we later found out was prepared by their son. It was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Both of these were excellent! The portions were huge! We decided to try something different for dessert, it was highly recommended by the owner so we opted for coconut and sweet pumpkin tapioca, it consisted of pumpkin, taro,and coconut milk with tapioca pearls and was served warm. It had just enough sweetness to satisfy the sugar craving after dinner. If you’re looking for good homemade Thai food this is the next place that you want to go. We also noticed that they do a lot of takeout.

Great authentic cuisine. The pad Thai is perfect. Drunken noodles are flavorful. Leave roo. For desert for the mango, sticky rice with coconut. It's purple BTW. Sooo good. Summer Rolls are a great appetizer. Don't drive past without stopping in.

We googled Thai in our area & this is literally down the road from us. We got the Thai sampler platter, the spicy noodles with chicken and a mango sticky rice. 10/10. It’s definitely my new food fixation. Everything was cooked perfectly. Seasoned perfectly. & the guy who took my order on the phone was very patient and helpful. I don’t usually write reviews - but I had to for this one. We’ll be back very soon :)

I found my go to Thai restaurant! My husband and I ordered fried wontons, winter rolls for apps and they were delicious! We also ordered pineapple fried rice, drunken noodle and chicken pad thai. Not only were the portions HUGE but everything was so delicious. In the past I’ve noticed that pad thai can be too dry in some places and I hate that because I feel like there is no flavor but their Pad thai was amazing, saucy and the flavor was delicious. I can’t wait to try their other dishes!

I am appalled by the owners sons attitude ,lack of professionalism and empathy for the elderly .In error I ordered take out for about $ 38.00 .IThe owner was very nice when he took the order and I gave him my credit card upfront, which he billed.I realized that in error I ordered from this restaurant which is over an hour away from my home,I was waiting outside at the restaurant close to me when I realized something was wrong because they didn't have my order. I am elderly and somehow,i must have read the wrong number ,I called and spoke to the owner,,he was busy and said he would look at it later and take care of it then. I called back because I retire early and wanted to be reassured that the credit was returned to my card.I spoke to the owners son,He was so nasty to me, disrespectful ,defensive and very unprofessional and refused to credit me .
The owner had been so nice initially and I would have written a review about how understanding he was as I believe he meant to credit me.I can't comment on the food or ambiance however ,I do not know any restaurant owner that would not credit someone that's elderly and made an honest mistake and was apologetic about it,,

A "virtual cashier" is wild choice for a place whose food is not great. Won't be giving this place anymore chances due to their inconsistent service/quality.

Great food. It's take out only until the front of the dining room is repaired. You have to go around back, ring a bell, and someone comes right out to take care of you.

I made an unexpected trip here for the first time and it instantly became my new favorite Thai restaurant!

My husband and I are usually tough critics when it comes to asian cuisine so we were pleasantly surprised after trying thai dish for the first time since the new owners reopened. Everything we ordered was Delicious ( the green curry ,duck curry, fried chicken , and drunken noodle )!We were not disapointed. We enjoyed savory flavor of their dishes and were surprised by the generous portions. We will definitely be ordering here again also happy its close to home we dont have to travel far for good thai food in the Valley . We're also happy to support fellow small business owners . We Highly recommend you try this spot if your in the mood for good thai food!

Great Thai food in Seymour. It’s the best Thai I’ve found around the Valley. Fresh food with great authentic flavors. They seem to have recently undergone a slight renovation inside and have a lot more seating for eating in. The staff is always friendly. Recommended.

Aside from me needing to remember to ask for no cilantro and things since I have the aversion and it tastes like soap, the food is very good. I wanted to come by a few times and try different things before I left a review and every time has been delicious.

I had come here in the past while working nearby. Their bubble teas are fantastic. I ordered food tonight and was completely disgusted. I ordered mango fried rice with chicken. With the exception of one piece all the mango was rotten. I ordered mango sticky rice. It was purple?? Ordered it for years from many other places and NEVER purple!! Looked inedible. Lastly I saw they offered a pumpkin custard on the dessert menu. I love anything pumpkin. NOT this! It was some kind of solid pumpkin and chicken soup. Looked like something you feed your dog when they’re sick. Custard is dessert. This was certainly no dessert. Neither the description nor the picture noted any chicken. The coconut shrimp was good through not crispy but that was due to Grubhub delivering extremely late. I’m sure they are much better when they’re actually crispy and not floppy. Do not recommend eating here. Horrible experience

Hidden gem in Seymour! Got to try their drunken noodles, fried wontons, chicken fried rice, pad garlic, etc. Everything is fresh and delightful. The chicken and pork was soooo delicious!

Been here a couple times with no issue but this last time they used old food. I was very disappointed by the chewy chicken in the green curry and the overly salty fried rice. It was as if they were trying to cover something up! Very turned off!

Department of Health "B" rating should have been our first clue. No one was in the dining area. A woman came out from the kitchen and we asked if we could eat inside. She said yes and went back to the kitchen. The first table we went to had a cellophane wrapper on it and there was a dead ant next to it. The next table we tried had what appeared to be some kind of roach walking under it. We turned around and left.

I thought I was not a fan of Thai food and then I tried this place! The Pad Thai and chicken satay are absolutely delicious, and the sticky rice with mango and their Taro Boba Tea are my two new favorite things! 10/10

The purchasing process was real smooth and fast. I selected the items online then paid with my card. Took around 20 minutes to prepare my order. I went down to the restaurant and my order was all ready! Highly recommend if you want to try something new!

Clean place, average at best. The lunch special was just ok, not great but not disgusting either. The fried tofu and sweet/sour sauce was gross and tasted stale though.

One of my favorite take out places! Such an unassuming location but the food is great every single time. Our favorites are the Green Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Boat Noodle Soup. I order before leaving work and it's about 20 minutes from work on my way home and the food is always ready when I get there.

Tonight's dinner was delicious, first time getting takeout from here. A little hesitant to try a new place since I am so picky lol. The chicken satay was amazing, the peanut sauce was so good! The winter shrimp was delicious! I got shrimp drunken noodles and hubby got beef drunken noodles. All the ingredients were fresh and perfectly good. The drunken noodles were the best I've had and the spice is perfect. Will definitely eat here again!

Tonight’s dinner was awesome!! Yellow curry with shrimp - huge and meaty! Warm shrimp appetizer delicious- never had a bad takeout. Food is always delicious and staff is so nice. I recommend 😀

Seymour is certainly not know for excellence in cuisine but Thai Dish and Burger is an exception. While I wouldnt apply the label "cuisine" it is definitely really good Thai food! I have ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all tremendously. They provide ample portions and are reasonably priced, what more could you want 🤣
I almost always get takeout but it is exceedingly clean and a cute interior for a dine-in experience 👍👍

Showed up when it was supposed to be open, waited outside and called. No answer. Disappointed.

Food has been good, but doesn't always open when they say, so make sure they are answering the phone before you head down there if is earlier on a weekday.

Chicken in noodle dish had a very odd texture. Almost inedible. Panang curry was good. Tapioca pearls in the bubble tea were frozen. Second time having a mediocre experience here.

Excellent food. It was done very quickly but was still piping hot when we arrived home. Best Thai in the Valley! Tom Yum Goong soup was delicious! My husband and I both ordered Drunken Noodle. I asked them to turn down the spice. Husband got full spice. He admitted it was too spicy although he usually loves the spice. Even so, we’d order this again, and it will be a go-to now that we tried this lesser known gem!

We had Thai on our mind and they delivered 110%. Delicious flavors and a friendly quiet at atmosphere.

Really enjoyed this place. We didn't understand the name until we saw a family eating Thai while the kids had burgers. makes perfect sense. The Thai was way above average!!!! Carefully prepared and pridefully served. Very friendly staff. Will go again!

It may look like it’s a little hole in the wall, but it is the best Thai place around. We ordered a few things off the menu to sample a wide range of the cuisine and were not disappointed with a single food item. Staff was also amazingly attentive.

Talk about fresh everything! Here since their first day ( march 1, 2015 ) . I have only done one review prior to this but this food rates the time to let everyone know once there you will become a regular as I have. The hand made crab Rangoon tops anywhere, the wonton soup with handmade chicken dumpling you will never eat this soup at a Chinese restaurant again. Drunkin noodles with chicken, the sauce is crazy good! Tiger Tear steak fork tender , house made mango or custard to end the meal with a bubble beverage will make you want to return again the next day. Best Thai food I have ever tasted.

What a terrible service. Food is better but people have attitude problems. Two times they have messed up my order and they don't even bother to apologise. I had to bring the wrong food back. They don't understand their own menu. Twice at two different times I ordered Drunken Fried rice (which in their own menu only has one option that is seafood) took it home and it's chicken fried rice. How do you mix these two??? Couple of weeks later same problem again. Went home and it's the wrong order. No apologies no regrets just more attitude. They were arguing with someone in kitchen over this and that person was not having it. Once I paid for fries with food but got home and no fries. Terrible.
