Jimmy chen always delivers on their food. It's very constant. It's a good American Chinese choice! My woman loves to throw back the Singapore noodles.

When I asked for extra duck sauce the lady got weird and tried to charge me. If you’re spending over a certain amount I think you should get some extra duck sauce at no charge…. I don’t think they loose much by giving an extra sauce here and on the house for customers who spend good money there every couple of weeks….

First time coming to this place. I was staying in CT for 3 days with my bf. We should’ve came to this place sooner because the food quality and the portion is so much better.
My boyfriend and I got the lunch special- Takeout.
Price was fair and reasonable.
Food tasted really good.
We also asked to substitute our rice for brown rice which they did.
They gave me generous amount of chicken where the other Chinese place I went to (which I won’t name) gave me like 5 pieces of meat and 90% vegetables.
Their hot and sour soup was my favorite. 👍🏼

I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and there were pieces of lo mein in my dish. I don't like that, it makes me wonder if they scraped someone's leftovers in my order.

I have been doing takeout from Jimmy Chen's and have yet to be disappointed with quality and amazing flavor of their dishes. Highly recommend if you're in a mood for excellent Asian cuisine.

I was disappointed with the food. I ordered beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. The rice had a slightly burned taste. I guess the oil is not changed frequently. The broccoli was undercooked and hard.The brown sauce was so salty and flavorless. l liked the crispy egg roll but I was not impressed with this meal. Perhaps I'll try again when it is not so busy. I will also stay away from the dark salty sauce.

Had Jimmy Chen's for the first time today. The staff is friendly and just delightful. The food was terrific. I had the General Tsao's chicken and fried rice. Really flavorful. The egg rolls were really good, too. I will go back next time I am in the area, for sure.

This is our go to date night place to be! Their sushi is on point as any dish we have had there. So good! Plus those scorpion bowls are to die for😋

Bought takeout order of Sesame Chicken. Only found one piece of meat in the entire container. The rest was just fried ribbons of what I assume is skin. Tossed it in the trash. Quite a disappointment.

Quiet date night spot. Music but it isn’t overwhelmingly loud. Sushi was good. Appetizers were good. Best egg drop soup I’ve had in a long time. Definitely going to be coming back.

Date night with my hubby on Saturday we had boneless spare ribs, dumplings, bento box with pork and broccoli, MooShu w/ pancakes and a Kamakazi Roll

First I haven't tasted Asian like this since I want to Europe,I figured it be a typical flavor general t chicken but I thought ibwa amazing. And zucchini instead of the broccoli was a good touch zucchini and broccoli would have been great too but the same crunch as the broccoli the zucchini gives so it works great Great amount of thick sauce and the chicken I swear to God that's the freshest chicken The juiciness inside of that chicken was perfect The crisps outside even with all the sauce was great and normally when you get Chinese food the chicken you get those hard dark pieces ,this had none of that In Connecticut this I say is next to Mecca on terms of flavor and the portion size are good too and the spring rolls have like those clear noodles on the inside with the veggies it was good It wasn't expecting it but it was really good I definitely will be back, And it was filling In fact I get so full I had to take a nap and I still had some for this morning I would have took a picture but that did not cross my mind It also has the little red tiny chili peppers in it which gives it that nice little heat to it but it's not an overwhelming heart it's a nice little kick with the sweetness and the sweetness isn't too sweet it's everything is balance well, for the price that these things are that is extremely understandable and I can't complain about the price because of the way it tastes It was hot juicy even the next day when I reheated it just now still so juicy I'm about ready to drive another 40 miles to go get it again.

This is the best in the area hand down. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Non better. Thank you!!

Jimmy Chen’s has great-tasting food, a great selection, and good service, but it is a bit too expensive for what it’s really worth.

We typically dine in or order out from Jimmy's at least once a week. The food here is fantastic! Our favorite sushi is the spicy scallop roll, but we also love their Philly roll and crazy tuna roll. Other notable dishes include: edamame, shumai, yellowtail capacious, wonton soup (thinner noodle shell and plentiful quantity in a flavorful broth), drunken noodle & Singapore noodle. They also have the best crispy sesame chicken I've ever had - the breading is thin and crispy and the sauce has a great flavor to it (best to order if dining in as it doesn't travel super well). Their hunan sauce is really good too.

I’ve been going to this place since 2010 and I will stop going from now on he’s got a rude girl working in the front 16 year-old that doesn’t know what she’s doing totally unprofessional in her phone half in my face stating she will call the police on me! she took the food order but messed up everything and had a attitude for saying something

The shrimp in garlic sauce very tasty. Good size shrimp. I have had better wonton soup. My Blue Hawaii cocktail came out as a Green Hawaii though it tasted the same. The waiter was too in a hurry to clean the table.

They gave me a portion of lo mein smaller than a small takeout portion and charged me for a large. Better off getting takeout. Eating inside they give much smaller portions. They also charged me more money than if I ordered takeout.

Always a delight. The service is friendly and home like. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the Asian restaurants of our childhood. Sushi is top notch as are the Chinese meals. Somewhat sporadic in terms of spiciness. The only downfall is their brown rice, which is more times than not a tad crunchy.

Fried rice, egg rolls, teriyaki & General tso chicken are my faves. But they’re fried rice is the best I’ve ever had. It’s a step above all the others. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!

Food was horrible again! Order was all wrong again! No egg roll! The person I spoke to claims it's not included. When it's clear on the menu, it is Included with lunch n dinner combo. And the order taker on the phone has a very poor attitude and zero personality!!

awesome beef teriyaki and the rice actually as flavor, a lot of places just heat up white rice, not here, very flavorful.

Last time we ordered from here, the wonton soup was different, and the chicken satay tasted off and the peanut sauce was really oily, which it hadn't been in the past.

This is my new favorite Chinese place. The people I have told about it love it just as much. I will always go here now and no where else.

Fast service and food arrived quickly. The dumplings and pu pu platter were tasty. The fried rice was great. However, our entree was gross. The sauce on the meat and veggies had a snot-like consistency. Overall, dinner was a let down. We wish we spent our money somewhere else. We won’t be returning.

I’ve tried all Chinese food around and this one is best hands down. Good portion for what you pay. I Always get the pork fried rice, boneless spare ribs and beef teriyaki combo and man does it never fail. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! My wife gets the snow mountain sushi and shrimp lo mein and she loves it as well! Highly recommend this place

Went in at 845 and was told they close at 9 so I could not dine I. He said hours are for takeout????】 Not friendly. I ordered chicken and mixed vegetables. I could see through the chicken and if there was 1/8 of an ounce I would be shocked. On the upbeat their egg rolls are fabulous. People there are argumentative.

Party of 5 ate here yesterday. Great food, we ordered a few different foods and shared it and it was excellent. No complaints at all. We had dumplings, general tso chicken, spicy peanut sauce chicken, chow fun, and a sushi roll. Everything was amazing, great sizes, good prices, and the fish was fresh!

The waitstaff were attentive and fast to get our drinks, orders, etc!

Genuinely so good and service is so quick and efficient. Had sushi and dumplings and it was all delicious, hands down the best dumplings I’ve ever had and I loooove dumplings, they were super bready and filling and tasted amazing. My entire family love it, if we ever end up in the area again from Florida we will definitely eat here :)

Went here for lunch today 11/21/22 and it was awful. The waitress had a nasty attitude and the food was terrible. I ordered sesame chicken, it had no chicken. It was battered and fried chicken skin and bits of fat. I asked for hot tea and the waitress nastily told me that they don’t have hot tea. I’ve never been to an Asian restaurant that doesn’t have hot tea. Never again.

Decent American style Chinese food. I’d say if your going on a date and want a quality experience, give it a try. If you want to eat as a family or a small group, this will be a pricey experience. Id say the fried stuff I had like the egg rolls were a bit over cooked and tough. Considering the price tag, the most flavorful and fresh tasting part of the meal was the Wonton Soup. It’s definitely quality food but i don’t know if it’s really worth the hype. Get that soup though, definitely worth the price.

Still high quality sit down service with tablecloths! Food is all excellent especiall shashimi. Sauces are all different and delicious on hot foods. Service is quick.
One deficiency? They dont serve hot tea! I know, i know, what? But they don't for some reason, go figure. Highly recommended, period. So good to be seated and served again!

The food was hot and good, but shockingly expensive. For two late lunch entrees and a shared appetizer, it cost $45. They also don't serve tea, which is weird for a Chinese restaurant.

This was a really bad experience from start to finish. After we sat at our table we asked for some tea and were told that they don't make tea. Absolutely crazy, I know. What's even crazier is that we were never asked for a drink order. We ordered negimaki to start which wasn't bad but didn't really wow us. Our rolls we good and well made but the drunken noodles were one of the worst things I've ever tasted. I love drunken noodles and this wasn't even close. I'm giving 2 stars because the rolls were good and the noodles were taken off the bill. It's safe to say we won't be returning.

I've come here for 4+ years now. The food is better than most Chinese places in our area. The service is good. I like the people that work here they are always pleasant and helpful.

We were driving back and forth from West Suffield, and came across this restaurant vi google maps, and mann - we did not get disappointed with the food or service. We are waiting for dine-in(was closed as staff was away celebrating Chinese New Year) to taste the sushi’s!!
Definitely must try restaurant if you are in and around East Windsor.
Price is reasonable too

0n 01/15 I made an order for shrimp tempura roll and California roll and 8 piece chicken and while eating I found a strand of hair

The staff was not ready for the New Years rush. Didn't mind the wait but the staff being rude was not called for. Food was cold and portions were small

I tried Jimmy Chen's for the first time tonight after living in East Windsor for two years based off of the recommendations of a couple long time residents. Ordered a spicy salmon roll which was underwhelming also ordered udon noodles that had like a burnt plastic taste. My boyfriend ordered general tsos chicken which is usually noted on other restaurants as a spicy meal the sauce was so sweet. Extremely under impressed will not be returning
