The serving was definitely a shareable portion size. My fiancée got the chicken pad Thai (10/10!), and I got the vegetable paid Thai with no egg and no bean sprouts. Everything was made perfectly to order. The vegetable pad Thai has mixed veggies in it. 10/10! I’d definitely eat here again. The picture I included was what we were saving for the next day because there was a large amount!
The only thing I would change is that they charge you a fee when ordering online.

Excellent quality Thai food for such a small town, this place is well worth a visit for those who love Thai or who are looking for a good alternative to the poor quality Chinese food in town. Delicious thai food! Absolutely amazing and you can tell the owner cares. The gratuity of 3.99% really should just be factored into the price so that they don't have to have signs plastered everywhere taking away from the ambience. The food was divine. I ordered the Hot Basil (Pad Gra Pao) and it was some of the best I've had for a good portion.

I love this place ! The food is awesome - I love the curry dishes and the Siam Orchid special sauce and you must get the crab rangoons - they are the best! The service is great too! I highly recommend it!

The service is fantastic, when we went recently the owner was essentially running the restaurant on his own with no help.he was extremely polite and apologetic with the speed of service. When we have gone on normal occasions with a full staff they are fast, efficient, and delicious

We're new to the neighborhood and ordered take-out from Siam Orchids.
When I picked up my order I noticed a sign at the register that says they charge 3.99% to the entire order unless I pay cash.
I understand that the credit card companies charge the business a surcharge however, the business needs to understand that allowing a credit card as a form pf payment benefits both the business and the consumer. Credit cards allow the business to accept more consumers into their establishment.
You want to charge me more for the use of my credit card? You won't see me purchasing anything from Siam Orchids anymore.

We went right now, and we waited 25 minutes, the waitress was very disgusting and when she went to ask us, she was very angry, and then she told us wait, I'll go answer the phone, and we better go there, the service is very bad, there was no air fresh, it was very hot, I will not go back there, the customer service is very bad, I do not recommend it.

I got inside the restaurant around 7:40pm. I ordered and waited for 30 minutes to get foods. The man behind me was there after me and they served him 1st. The lady forgot the spoon then i walked up ask for it and she gave me nasty attitude. I wont be back and never recommend to anyone.

Wanted to give this place a shot after all the good reviews. However the pineapple fried rice was very bland even with the chilli paste added. Not to mention 17 for a regular black plastic take away sized portion. I do not recommend.

I took my son for his fist Thai dinner. He absolutely loved it. He started with a non spicy chicken pad Thai. He’s now hooked. I had a meal I cannot pronounce it spell correctly so, I won’t even try. It was a spicy soupy with shrimp and squid. Again, excellent . I’ve been here tons of times and was always happy with what I ordered .

Food was delicious with generous portions. Had green curry with chicken, leche with chicken, lemon grass shrimp. All were awesome. Mai Tai pork and shrimp steamed dumplings were the best we’ve ever had! Atmosphere and wait staff were courteous and attentive. Highly recommend.

One of my new favorite places for healthy, delicious Asian cuisine at a great value. Their wonton and silver soups are loaded with healthy delicious vegetables that are low in sodium but delicious and well seasoned. Tried the lunch special with spicy grilled squid and once again loaded with nutritious superfood veggies which were full of flavor and low in salt which I loved. These kind of healthy takeout options are few and far between. Will definitely be back foe more.

This is one of my mother's favorite places to eat. However, we wanted to have lunch there today and the place was freezing cold. Zero heat. I'm sorry to say that we had to leave, it was just too cold in the dining room.

Let's put it this way, the "Super Combo" was a super rip off!!!

I ordered from this Siam Orchids for the very first time tonight. I was instantly happy! The vegetable steamed dumping's were so savory and the Vegetable Pad Thai with tofu tasted delicious.

I've gone her numerous times without ever being dissapointed. They serve very good food. Their portions on take out are very good for the price and my fiancé and I can usually get 2+ meals out of one take out order. Love coming here.

Flavor was phenomenal! However, in my party of 8 not a single person was satisfied with the amount of meat included, and everyone agreed that what they got wasn't cut appropriately. It felt like our meal was an annoyance to them, an afterthought just rushed together. This is the second and last time we go there

My negative is there was a (family members) young boy running around and a older family member that had his phone on with a video that was very loud, and clearly both should not have been in the dining room,let alone at the table next to me. very unprofessional, kinda ruin the experience for my daughter and I.

Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I know of. Very, very flavorful. Mostly I get the drunken noodle, extra spicy.

Siam Orchids was my go to place for som tam and drunken noodle. At least until tonight where my drunken noodle had no noodles and the som tam was missing the citrus, fish sauce, and basil. Not sure what happened to the restaurant but am giving 3 stars out of respect for the past.

Tastefully decorated in traditional Asian style with a varied menu of curries, noodles, sweet, peanut and fiery selections. Ours is a mixed marriage one vegetarian one carnivore. No problem. Quick service, attractive presentation, great taste and ample quantity. We plan to work our way through this menu.

The food was not bad but not Oh I’m coming back food . The service, we got our appetizers before our drinks so for whatever that’s works. But we came here from Wallingford to try a new Thai place and I can say this Sirinan’s Thai and Pho Ethan in Wallingford both are way tastier ✌️

Best thai food in new haven area! Quiet spot with delicious food and fair pricing. Their sweet and sour chicken and siam orchid fried rice got my wife through 9 months of a brutal pregnancy. That's why we named our son 'Orchid' (no not really)

Myself and several friends have been going here often to eat/drink for 3 years. One night I picked up a Thai iced coffee and drunken noodles at Siam Orchids. (With a side of peanut sauce) I dropped my wallet while getting back into my car. They called my cell immediately. Every dollar was there. $164. Very good, respectable people. Nevermind their unforgettable Thai cuisine. Their Thai ice coffee (or tea) with boba could run Starbucks out of business... if people ever find out how great they are! Also, best bubble tea and Thai food in the state. Don't forget to tip (;

This place is better than 4 stars, but I rarely give 5. Food is very tasty. Love their Tom Yum broth. Very good curries. The lunch special is an amazing deal with multiple courses and enough food for 2 meals.

The food is FANTASTIC. My favorite are the drunken noodles. The thai iced tea delicious. I have had pretty much everything on their menu right down to the sticky rice with mango....it reminds me of the sticky rice from the floating market in Thailand. The choo chee duck is is done just right, however you have to eat it at the restaurant.
