Casual locale dishing up a straightforward range of Thai staples in down-to-earth, modern surrounds.
I ordered delivery tonight for black bean sauce with two extra orders of shrimp.
My dish came with little shrimp and also beef and chicken which I didn’t request. Whatever little shrimp was stale and old. The spinach didn’t seem washed and the sauce was very bland with barely any hint of black bean.
I’ll probably end up getting food poisoning.
Needless to say, I’ll never be ordering anything from here again.
Everything was delicious. I absolutely loved the spicy beef salad. I normally wouldn’t give a review on fried rice cause it’s not something I’d order but my daughter ordered it and I kept eating it. We also got the vermicelli salad which I also don’t do. I wouldn’t go to a thai restaurant to order a Vietnamese dish but my mom ordered it and it was good. Eggrolls were crispy and yummy. My sister ordered a noodle soup and it had lots of flavor. I had the duck stir fry. Bobas were on point. Mango sticky rice good. Chicken wings were tasty. Fried bananas were more for my mom and she seemed to like it as well. Will definitely be back!
We like this place because the food is pretty good, and the portions are solid. Great Thai tea as well. Unfortunately on a recent order the potatoes in our curry were utterly disgusting as they tasted sour/spoiled- made the whole dish inedible, and I’m concerned I could get food poisoning :(
Unique flavor profiles across the board with what we ordered. The fried rice dishes were a bit bland unfortunately. GF dumplings were very tasty and the sauce was flavorful. The drunken noodle was a very unique flavor possibly because of the gluten free choice. The pad Thai seemed to be missing traditional green onions or a bit more spice but overall still a solid option with all 5 dishes we got.
I tried out both panang and Basil Bowl and so far I’m a lot happier with Panang. You get good portion sizes, and I’ve never been disappointed with the taste quality of the food.
My biggest gripe is the first time I went, level 5 spicy was not very spicy, but this time after requesting higher than level 5 they came through and made it properly spicy
The food is SO good! I especially loved the variety of dish options that include veggies and not just a protein and carb. The portion size is also quite large. I'll definitely be back here. Highly recommend for Thai in the area! We had the cashew nut chickens panang curry, and pad Thai. All delicious!
Absolutely 100% spectacular! Panang Thai Cuisine is definitely a neighborhood gem. And I should know, I've been eating here for years. The owner, Jason, is genuinely one of the kindest people I've met. His servers are so sweet.
Room is small, not good for parties greater than 8; nothing fancy; sometimes it's busy but in my experience that's a good thing. The menu is similar to many Thai restaurants in the area, but the food tastes unlike any other. If you like to order your food really spicy or not at all, go for it. You won't be disappointed. My favorites are (any) curry and the spicy mango dish. Thai iced tea is a must every visit. Well done and one of my favorites!

Neat place with good food. My drunken noodles were lacking in spice but my wife's pad thai was darn good.
The food here was amazing! I spent the next two days bragging about how good it was. We will be returning for sure.
Satay Drunken Noddle has no flavor!!!! We've gotten in multiple times. The regular drunken noodle has more flavor but has almost identical descriptions as the Satay drunken on the menu.
Me and my husband ate here today, and we had trouble with our stomachs. Never comeback.
10 stars. Great food.

Everything we ordered was amazing! I felt like the portion size was large, I usually can finish my plate with room for more and I actually had to take half of it home! Everyone loved their entrée and it definitely hit the spot. I wasn't sure if I should order a Cambodian noodle soup at a Thai restaurant, but did not regret my decision! My mom ordered a vermicelli noodle bowl that was amazing, my husband's Drunken noodles were delicious, my dad's Singapore noodles were tasty, my kids shared a Pad See Ewe that they had several times afterwards with left overs! I spoke to the owner afterwards and he was super friendly! I'm writing this review because I'm craving the Cambodian noodle soup again! I can't wait to go back!
Really good Singapore noodles!
The food was disgusting and the protein tasted very old. It seemed as though the only ingredient used was soy sauce. My husband and I were Very disappointed with the appetizer soup and both entrees ordered. I would definitely not go back.
Nice portions, good food, good boba, and sweet service
Thank you!
My friend suggested this place and I’m glad I listened. The food was incredible. Amazing taste.
I got the Green Curry with chicken, spicy level 4...It was excellent and I'll definitely be back. Very reasonably priced as well.
Drunken noodles with chicken was amazing, even with no spice.
It's a great little gem hidden away at the end of a somewhat dated strip mall off the main road. We've been going there eat-in, take out and during COVID and I can't believe I've not reviewed it before.
We've never been disappointed. I usually choose something random, my wife pretty much always has the same. It's very rare to have to wait for a table, service is quick and food arrives promptly.
Food is always on point. Wonderful staff. Price is reasonable.
Most delicious Thai I have ever had.
Fantastic people and atmosphere!!
My new favorite restaurant. Food was excellent. Lots of choice and low prices.
Everything was delicious. I absolutely loved the spicy beef salad. I normally wouldn’t give a review on fried rice cause it’s not something I’d order but my daughter ordered it and I kept eating it. Went in for a date night last night with my boyfriend and had the best time!! The service was exceptional and Eddie was our server and was hustling around the restaurant, serving, bussing and doing to-go orders. He made our experience really great and I’ll definitely be going back to dine in and tip in store rather than giving money to Doordash or Ubereats. Thanks for working so hard Eddie, I hope you stick around!
1. I ordered the “vegetables in peanut curry sauce” online. When we got home, we had only a box of steamed vegetables. Called the restaurant and they insisted that “in peanut curry sauce” meant sauce on the side. I drove back across town to receive a tiny container of peanut sauce - not even enough to coat the vegetables, let alone qualify as “in sauce.” Additionally, I ordered mild, and both the vegetables and sauce were full of red pepper flakes.
2. The eggrolls were undercooked with a doughy texture.
3. The online ordering system tacks on a $3 upcharge to every item ordered as compared to their printed menu.
4. The Masamman curry was so sweet, they should have put in the dessert category.
My family was underwhelmed with every dish we ordered, and we will not be going back.
Cute small Thai place, clean with great lighting. Food tasty and staff super friendly. 10/10 new date night location for me and my wife.
Had the papaya salad and Singapore noodles. It was ok, enjoyable but nothing amazing or unique. The service was good even though they’re short staffed. I liked seeing that the workers knew almost everyone who came in. Great prices.
Everything tasted like fish. Spent $56 and threw most of it away. Egg rolls had absolutely no flavor what so ever. I will never eat there again. I literally threw my hard earned money away.
2 was spicier than anticipated
We have ordered Panang Thai probably.... 30 times? since moving to Erie and I realized I'd never given them a review. Given that we've spent more here than at any restaurant in the area I thought I'd say a nice thing or two.
The Panang Curry is the best we've found here, period. It's is creamy, rich, spicy, lots of veggies and is our go-to comfort food.
The kiddos love the sesame style chicken, they are never sad when we order it.
But something you may overlook or not think about is fried rice.... I have no idea how they get so much flavor into the fried rice.
Note that they are sometimes slow. I'd never recommend dining in, it's ambience is hectic and not great. But ordering takeout ahead of time, give it 30ish minutes, you will absolutely be happy!
Love their food

Ordered the calamari, definitely not real calamari. Had to have been the absolute worst Ive ever had in my life. Service from staff was god awful as well, did not get a single refill on WATER. the drunken noodles I ordered had a decent flavor but the noodles were very over done and kind of mushy. Will not ever be back.
Green curry was outstanding; stir-fry ginger chicken was good, could use more fresh ginger.
After almost a decade of eating here regular I have never once been disappointed with the food, staff, or atmosphere.
I love the food here. Great pad Thai.
Love this place!
This is our goto place for Thai food. This time I got the Panang curry combo. It was delicious. My wife got the Pad Thai noodles with tofu and it was also great. The Crab Rangoon this time was only so so.
Awesome food for decent price. Large portions generally last me about 2 days. Fried rice is awesome and always ready within 5-15 minutes. Great for take out in a hurry if you call ahead
I consider myself a regular as I really enjoy the food, but have grown frustrated as they are sometimes closed when the "hours open" sign says they should be open and over the past month, they just can't seem to open on time. Today I waited until 1110 and they still weren't open (they say they open at 1100) and followed the other 6 frustrated customers down to Phao Cafe because they weren't open.
Very good food, but I'd recommend you consider this a take out only place or at the least, call in advance to see if they are actually open.
I’ve loved this place for years. Still my favorite restaurant and go to whenever I want a special dinner!
Our favorite local place for Thai food, always quick, nice service. We typically get food to go or even just some Boba Smoothies to go. Place usually has regular customers and we're glad it survived through the past few years. Yes prices have gone up like so many other restaurants but food is still delicious.
Favorites we regularly order are their Panang Curry, their Combo rice noodle bowl, their King Salmon or their Sefood stir fry and sometimes their pad Thai. Everything we have had is pretty tasty and you can get brown or white rice as well. They also offer delivery if they have enough staff but we usually get it ourselves because it is about 5min away.
Take out is consistent every time.
Got take out from this place. Food was very average if I am being generous. The side of rice provided was too less ( the container was filled maybe to 60%). They charge 1$ extra for brown rice which most other restaurants don't. The peanut curry sauce was given in a separate very small container (similar to the one in which you get ketchup from fast food chains). It was so watered down that it is impossible to identify it as peanut sauce. And it was a whole lot of broccoli as the veggies. I would expect a 14$ entree to be much much better. Give it a pass if you have a choice.
Best Thai near boulder
If I could give it zero stars, I would. I walked out after only one bite of food. Shrimp pad Thai was awful and just horrible. Plus it cost me $45 to learn
Panang Thai is absolutely sensational. The food, service and value is perfection every time. This amazing local establishment has been feeding the bellies of the Community Medical Center staff for years and we love them for it!
Very, very tasty. Highly recommend.
This place is a hidden gem! Their food was very good and the service was amazing! We went to lunch for a birthday and they even allowed us to bring in our own dessert and they brought us little plates and offered us birthday candles!!! What an amazing place!!!
Really fast service and super tasty food! I plan to come back here for sure
I stopped by after randomly finding Panang on Google maps. I am so glad I did! It was the best meal I’ve had in Colorado so far. I had the hot and sour soup with shrimp, crab rangoon, and the combo drunken noodles with combo meat. I am a wimp so spice level 2. I ate the WHOLE PLATE!! I’m making time to come back this trip!
I’m pretty sure the level 4 hot and sour soup prevents/cures the flu^_^
Love this place. Wide noodles are outstanding here, as is everything else. Great vegan and vegetarian options, lots of veggie choices and they can actually make things spicy!!
I've ordered carry out multiple times and it's been fantastic every time. Pepper steak is prob my favorite in the area. Can't speak to dine in experience as I haven't eaten inside, but I will continue to order carry out.
Good food and good service
I ordered the thai rice noodle bowl w/chicken. It was so fresh and flavorful and the amount of spice was perfect!
Delicious. Sampled four dishes and all were incredible.
Good food and fast service. A little on the pricy side but what isn't these days
A true diamond in the rough in good ol Lafayette, Colorado. Their curries are creamy, flavorful and delicious. Love their chicken Pad Thai, with added fresh basil. Don't forget to try the unique Thai tea before your tasty dish arrives. The only aspect they could improve upon is giving more chicken in the Pad Thai dish. That's the only reason why I deduct a star from this glowing review.
Pretty mediocre. We ordered a noodle dish, fried rice and crab cheese wontons. I’m pretty sure there was almost no crab in the wontons . The fried rice and noodles had practically no vegetables either and the fried rice was supposed to be vegetarian. They had our order ready on time and the online ordering system is easy to use but the food was a major let down.
Delicious. Delicious. Service was awesome!
Expect long delays on orders. We ordered 4 boba teas and waited over 35 minutes.
The food here is insanely good, it's like a ridiculous mouthgasom of flavor!!! 100% 10/10
Had lunch her with friend unexpectedly. Very quiant place..can tell its family owned. Food was authentic and service was friendly. Recommended going if your wanting something simple and satisfying.
The food was excellent the service was friendly as always.
Very friendly staff was able to accommodate a last minute craving for red curry on a Sunday night right before closing. It was delicious and I will be ordering regularly from here.
I love this place! SO tasty and affordable. I love their Thai tea, Thai fried rice, and salmon entrees.
This place is warm and welcoming! The fresh summer rolls, drunken noodles and pad Thai are our favorite
Blandest pad see ew I've ever had.
I ordered delivery, I got the vegetable dumplings, mango boba and Tom yum noodle soup and unfortunately everything just tastes really bad and I’ve thrown it all away. Not sure how mango boba can be not good, but somehow it isn’t. 2 stars and it was really quick, and showed up still warm.
Really disgusting bathrooms, actually smells like death in there. Pad Thai was awful, the "chef" (loose term) didn't have the ambition to actually "chop" the scallions so he or "she" just threw the entire stalks of scallion in the dish. Very low standards here for sure. Would not eat here again on a bet! Here's a little reminder for all you party goer's, always check the bathroom before you eat out anywhere, the standards of any restaurant can be seen in the restrooms, this place is a health hazard for sure. Don't just wear a mask here, wear a HAZMAT suit!
Not up to the expectation but good people and good service.
One of our favorite places
BEST WONTONS EVER.....
Tasty, authentic Thai fare. Be warned that mild, medium, and hot translates to hot, hotter, and volcanic lava hot. Being a spice wimp these days I always ask for American hot. I.e. no hot peppers at all.
Wonderful service and atmosphere. But not sure if it used to be better but the quality of the ingredients doesn’t seem very high. The meat was rubbery and stringy. The Panang curry was way too sweet and lacking creaminess/richness. Wanted to love it but was disappointed.. the wings were the best thing we tried. The search for Thai food in Colorado continues..
Ordered Grilled Chicken Satay, they were bit dry and the pork egg rolls were super dry and tasteless! I can tell they microwaved them!
Really good beef salad and black pepper steak, good service.. however the pad Thai was prob the worst pad Thai I’ve ever had! I only took 2 bites!
Was looking for a clean cheerful Thai Restaurant and found it here.
Great portions at reasonable prices!
The summer rolls are made fresh with each order.
The Chicken Pad Thai noodles are good with a medium heat.
The Thai iced tea was fresh and tangy.
Easy access off HWY 287 in front of Flatirons church facility.
OMG! Their seafood curry is just AMAZING!!!!
Their Panang Curry is the worst I’ve had, and that’s their namesake. Quite disappointed in their flavors and freshness
Very good and authentic Thai food. I love this restaurant. The staff is always so nice
If I could give 10 stars I would!
Their boba and sticky rice is fantastic!
Great food. Gluten free and vegetarian options!
Ordered food to go, Pad Thai Noodles were good but no scallions or bean sprouts like discription states, Massamon Curry with chicken was good, I was very disappointed with the Prime Thai beef salad, I realize that this dish will incorporate pickled veggies like carrots, however the cucumbers and other veggies were waterlogged, no bean sprouts, red onions or mint like the menu discription, a bit yucky, needed fresher veggies, and maybe a little jalapeño, this salad was far from being Prime
Pad Thai was lacking in flavor and heat and the noodles were a little wet. Tom kha soup was also just ok. I ordered both Thai hot and a toddler probably could have eaten it without needing a sip of water. If you don’t like much heat this place is fine, it certainly wasn’t BAD, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I will go back and try their panang curry sometime.
Easy to order and prompt service. As far as a business, they were great. However, I found the noodle dishes to be very overcooked (i.e. mushy noodles), everything was VERY sweet, and there was no discernable spice (we ordered at level 3)
Fresh, well prepared dishes, with a wide range of options not often seen at most Thai restaurants
Panang Thai has to be the best Thai place in the Boulder County. I have never had a wonton soup broth be so aromatic and tasty. I had also been looking for a place for a couple years that served Singapore street noodles, Panang doesn’t disappoint! We’ve also had the wontons, egg rolls, spring rolls, pad see yu, and pad Thai all with zero complaints. I would eat anything this wonderful business would serve to me. At this point my partner and I eat food from Panang at least 3 times a month. Forever customers :) thanks y’all for creating incredible food :)
Very delicious food at a fair price. The green curry and panang curry were both SLAMMING
Ample portions. Fast service. Low prices. Big windows.
Food is always great and I never have to wait long for to go orders. Great Thai food, this is go-to place!
It's good most of the time
Solid 4 stars pretty tasty all round, soups didn't taste as fresh as they could have.
Noodles were good.
Went here for the first time last week and this will definitely be my go to Thai food restaurant in Lafayette. Everything tasted good but the crispy fish with the sauce was by far the best item on the menu. Highly recommended.
Best Thai food in Colorado! A friend of mine introduced me to Panang a year ago and I've been hooked since. Your order is always accurate, it's super fast, and the flavors are incredible.
We waiting almost 45 minutes for our food. Service is bad.
Great tasting food. Did take out and food was wonderfully hot by the time I arrived home. I appreciate the attention to details in making food stay hot.
Sweet basil and Cashew chicken were delicious and came out extremely fast!
Good food
Yum is all I can say
My 1st time too
Nothing special here and not so much taste.
These reviews have to be fake IMHO. Ordered Sesame Chicken and it wasn't even edible. The "chicken" was chewy and stringy and some of the worst food I have eaten in my 5 years in Colorado. My wife's food was even worse. We asked for a fried rice dish without fish sauce and I confirmed when I picked it up that they didn't put fish sauce. The rice and the tofu tasted fishy and it was absolutely disgusting. My wife ended up getting sick through the night and the next day. We threw away most of the food and love to support local, but this food is just terrible.
My husband and I were disgusted by the food. We got take out last night, I ordered a basil fried rice and it had an overwhelming fishy taste and drenched in oil. The tofu also tasted sour. My stomach was bothering my all night after only eating a couple of bites and then throwing the rest out. I would assume they use the same pans without cleaning in between dishes. Save your stomach and your money and pass on this place.
Awesomeness
Excellent! Try it. I particularly enjoy the drunken noodles, rice noodle bowl, and the summer rolls. The soups are excellent as well
Take out only currently. Doesn't change a thing. WONDERFUL staff, amazing food, fantastic service, perfect place for a second or third date. The food is amazing and the selection is bonkers.
Everything I've had has been incredible.
Some things are better some days than others. I think it depends who's cooking a little.
Try the Thai noodle bowl. I've never seen it anywhere else. Very unique. Get combination. Thank me later.
I had shrimp pad Thai. Shrimp was overcooked, scallions were not cut, flavor was off, I will definitely not be returning.
Tried it twice now. Avoid the curry, the worst I ever had.
Great price. Some of the best massaman curry I've ever had. Yum!
Takeout only right now... :-(
So enchanting! Found this place while DoorDashing and loved how clean and Covid safe it felt, so I just ordered lunch and I am just straight up enchanted. It was tasty, fresh, packaged well and aesthetically pleasing. I payed an extra dollar for some additional veggies and they PACKED it full. Tofu was great, boba was great.15/10, my new local favorite!
Delicious beef salad and fried banana
A great little gem in Old Town Lafayette that serves really good Thai dishes and a bit of fusion cuisine. Prices are reasonable and the servings are good for sharing. Went on a Sunday around the moon hour and was able to order food in person, at the door, for three with very little wait. It took about ten minutes for the food to be prepared. The restaurant is closed to dine-in (as of 18 April 2021) but takeaway is fine. The entryway is"sealed off" for Covid-19 purposes, which was just fine. Will go back soon. Highly recommended!
This was by far the worst Thai food I’ve had. Such a disappointment.
Our favorite Thai place. Literally everything we've ever ordered has been phenomenal. Especially love the panang curry. Also, don't miss the Thai iced tea. They are so covid-friendly, their building is literally plastic wrapped! Love.
Consistently good flavorful food. Slightly understaffed for answering their phone and takeout. No dining in.
Amazing food, and menu. Super safe COVID pickup which I appreciate. Love having you guys in town. Thank you for keeping our family fed and happy through all this ;)
Really tasty, and reasonable prices.
The food tasted freezer burnt and it was obviously microwaved.
This is our favorite Thai restaurant. It's also the only place we've been able to reliably and safely order takeout during the pandemic.
Great food
Some of the best thai food ever!!!!!!
We’ve eaten here plenty of times and have always been happy, in fact this is one of my favorite places to go. However, today I was eating my leftovers from last night and I found a maggot. Bugs don’t typically gross me out, and I looked through my rice and didn’t see any more... so I kept eating. (I was really hungry and pregnant). Then a few bites in I found a beetle! I’m not sure if this was a fluke or I’ve just never noticed anything before but thought I’d share to see if anyone else has had this experience. I couldn’t add a picture but happy to share if anyone wants to see.
PLEASE READ - I never post bad reviews about a company, but I must here: We love Thai food, and after seeing how many reviews they had on Google and Yelp, of which I now assume are fake, I ordered take out for my husband and me. All the food was terrible quality, and the fried vegetable rice smelled so rancid, and had a repulsive fish taste, so I couldn't eat it at all. My guess is they use dirty woks from other meals to cook the fried rice. The other three dishes were oily, smelly, and equally disappointing, so we didn't finish any of them. In the end this was a $47. meal that went in the trash. I will never eat here again, and highly suggest you don't waste your time nor money.
De Lish Us!!!!
Sadly, I will not be able to order Pad Thai from this restaurant again. Today was my 3rd attempt to enjoy my favorite dish, but less than 5 minutes after finishing, I was ill in the bathroom. This has happened all three times, when I was not previously sick, so I suspect the use of MSG, which I am very sensitive to. Disappointing. :(
First time here and was curious. Not at ALL authentic Thai cuisine. It was the papaya salad for me...if you know you know.
So, stay with me, I promise I'll talk about the food. But first a question. Have you ever seen the movie Clue? If not go watch it, back? Okay so in the scene where Miss White starts talking about flames on the side of her face, and heaving breaths? Order the food "very very very hot" and you too can experience this scene.
Now for the food. Their curries are amazing, and noodle dishes well done. I promise you won't be disappointed. However do try the pork egg rolls. They are divine.
My husband and I ordered Panang Curry and Pad Thai for delivery. The food was disgusting. After one bite, we realized the food was spoiled. We threw everything out to protect ourselves from food poisoning. I’m hoping we can get the putrid smell out of our house their food has caused. If you value your health, do not order from here.
Excellent green curry and tom yum soup.
Safe, efficient and delicious!
I don't have pictures to share but I will say, their good is delicious! So happy to find a great Thai place in CO. I loved in CA for many years and was spoiled with great Thai food so it makes me happy to have found a really good place here. Their Thai tea is really good too.
My friend and I ate hear and really did not like it. It was sugary and we both felt ill after.
