This compact, no-frills Thai spot features an open kitchen & is known for its spicy renditions.
Love love love this place for excellent Thai food. Found this place 7-8 years ago and try to hit it up every time we are in the area (moved up to northern CO). Beware, the hot scale is legit. Medium is a builder and will scratch your ass if you're not a seasoned heatonist. Only about 25 seats available for dine in. Enjoy!
They are the BEST!
Their hot is actually hot. They're one of the few places that actually makes a fresh WIDE noodle! Pad see ew & drunken noodles taste even better with a perfectly flat and wide noodle- can't be thin! They do it best!
They also get their wok SEARING HOT! So you get the smoking wok taste that is essential in a wok Thai noodle!
Their crab cheese wontons are one of our favorites in town- the golden ratio of cheese and crispy exterior. They fold it lucky money bag style too!
US Thai is a staple.
What a find!!! The Pad See Ew, Lad Nah, Pad Thai are the best I’ve had in the state. Being Lao myself and coming from Iowa, where there is a significant Lao population thus a great selection of SE Asian cuisine, US Thai is so good I think it would rank among the best SE Asian places I’ve ever tried.
There can be a significant wait time because of its popularity, but it is worth it - if not for the amazing food, the prices! Can’t wait to return to try more of the menu!
*Editing my review to say that the current ordering system is very frustrating and takes away from the dining experience. Since they only have one machine to pay, it slows down the entire process and the restaurant is often backlogged with orders and people waiting to pay. Tonight we waited 45 minutes for our food and another 20 minutes to pay the bill. It would be great if the restaurant could invest in a better payment/ordering system.*
One of our favorite Thai restaurants in denver! Food is always delicious regardless of whether you dine in or order takeout. I always get the drunken noodles or the pad se ew. As someone with a peanut allergy I appreciate that this place is careful and I have never had an issue with cross contamination. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area!
In short, this is the best Thai food in the Denver area and at an unbeatable price.
From appetizers to curries to noodle dishes, everything is top notch, and they certainly bring the heat. Mild plus is recommended to start -- put your pride aside and come back for medium or hot if the dishes are not spicy enough for you (some "medium" dishes are probably spicier than you would get at other restaurants -- a medium papaya salad nearly killed me in a good way).
Minimal decor and amenities for the in person dining experience are offset by incredibly fast service (expect long lines on weekends, they are super popular!) and authentic, delicious food.
Terrible dine in service. Waited over hour for food and appeared as if take out orders took preference to dine in.
Fiance and I both got food poisoning after. Food was fine but not worth the experience.
A Food Heartbreak 💔 on Valentines.
I’ve been going to US Thai for years and I was excited to share them with my beloved, who raves about Aloy Thai and I was certain US Thai was better.
However the order we got was the worst thai I’ve had… and the gal that we talked with semi address the concerns, then hung up on us.
The rice container was only half full… she said that is the new proportion size for rice…
The drunken noodles did not have peppers and had a strong fish taste… she mentioned that the cook has always made it the same way.
The missing Thai Iced tea will be refunded. We shall see if that happens since she hung up. I’ll update, if it does.
I realize Thai on valentines is incredibly popular, and I know they were incredibly busy as they usually are. But the response to find a resolution was absolutely terrible.
I will not be recommending or visiting USA Thai again.
A food 💔heartbreak.
Aloy Thai it is!!!
Thai hot could be hotter! But very delicious food
Easily best Thai in Denver!
Always ask for mild for spicy level and ask for side of chili spices if you like hotter. Otherwise, be prepared!
Awesome place for Thai food I drive 45 min to get here every time. Food is always on point and never disappoints
Really authentic and delicious food! Got a meat lover to enjoy tofu! Would highly recommend
You’d miss this place if there wasn’t a line out the door all the time, food is AMAZING, but definitely not a quick in and out place. Worth the wait, or snagging it to go for a night in. I get the drunken noodle and my bf gets something different every time with no complaints!
Food was great, the crowd was too loud to hear the person sitting across from me. I'd be great if the staff asked the other patrons to speak at a reasonable level
I planned my night around getting takeout food at a certain time. Ordered takeout food at 6 PM and they said it would be ready by 725. I showed up at 720 and they told me my food wouldn’t be ready until 8. I said so my food is 40 minutes late? They shrugged and said yes, next! This is a pretty a bunk way to spend your evening waiting for 40 minutes in a small entry way of their restaurant on a Saturday when you had some plans you have to cancel. I recommend one of the many Thai restaurants in this area that don’t take 2hr+ to make a drunken noodle order, and not only that but will actually tell you the truth about what’s going on with your order, It’s definitely not that good.. super average Thai food.
Great Thai food. Would go again for take out.
Great price. Brisk business. Love the pad thai and Tom kah. Get 4/5 spice if you truly like spicy. Anything more is self punishment
US Thai is the best Thai food in town - they stand out among many amazing options! The food is consistently delicious, a great price point for large portions, and they certainly don't hold back on the spice if you ask. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry!

Very good food at good prices. You can also get true spicy if that's your thing.
Hands down the best Thai in and around Denver!! I’ve been to Thailand and I’d say that this is as close as it gets to authentic.
They are the BEST!

Best Massaman curry I've ever had. Order it hot don't be a wuss.
Nov 2024: US Thai continues to be my go-to for delicious and reasonably priced Thai cuisine. My favorite dishes include: pad Thai, drunken noodles, and green curry.
2021: One of my favorite spots for great Thai. Moderately spicy food is typically my style, however I prefer to order mild+ here.
The food was delicious. Best Thai food I have had. The green curry dish was outstanding.
Amazing Thai — best in the city. Has that great balance between the freshness of the ingredients & umami stir fry flavors. Get mild + — & I say this as someone who eats pickled green chili seeds. They also recently added a lovely patio right outside!
Great food! Just be prepared too wait an ungodly amount of time, we waited 90 minutes and the restaurant wasn’t packed. I would recommend takeout since they seem to prioritize those.

Probably the best tasting Thai food I’ve had in Denver. Can get a little crowded and confusing with trying to get a seat or waiting for a pickup order but don’t let that stop you.
The best Thai food around! Especially their Tom Yum!!!
Best Thai food I found in Colorado so far! I ordered seconds to go! Try the sweet rice with mango for dessert! Absolutely amazing!

Best Thai food I’ve had so far in Denver! Had the drunken noodles and can’t wait to try all the curries next :)
Literally the best drunken noodles I've ever had. It's always busy, maybe it's only downfall, but it's because it is the best. The best service, always accommodating, whether dine in or takeout. Thank you for bringing us the great taste of Thai!
The best Tom yum soup outside of Thailand. Also the best drunken noodles I have ever had.
Just moved to Denver and I got so lucky with this place. The prices? Cant be beat. The quality? So rich in flavor. The staff? A delight. Do not hesitate to come here, it will inevitably become a staple!
By far the best Thai we’ve had in Denver. My wife & I have eaten here at least 30 times in the past 3 years. It’s always so good! The Pad Thai is good, but the curries are phenomenal (especially the Massaman Curry). Also, it’s way more affordable than any other Thai Restaurant around Denver. Cannot recommend it enough!
Customer service is horrid. This place used to be awesome but lately has been seriously slacking.
There's no customer service when you have to wait over an hour over your quoted time, or when they give you the wrong order, or when they give you cold food.
The food can be amazing but when they mess up badly they don't have a care in the world. Seriously considering not ordering here again
I’ll start by saying we love us thai food. It’s our go to place and has the best Thai food we’ve found.
The first time we tried this place we were seated and the waitress didn’t greet us for 30 minutes although she had walked by at least a half dozen times. Despite this, the food was great.
After this, we decided that takeout is probably the best approach. 80% of the time our food is ready to go at our pickup time.
On a few occasions, including today, when we arrived, the restaurant is an absolute nightmare. At least 10 other people waiting for their orders, no employee even is willing to stop and check in with us. Another customer we spoke to, their order was more than an hour and a half overdue. As I’m writing this, we’re still waiting for our food. This is the THIRD time this has happened.
Despite their food being excellent, their inconsistent timing, lack of customer service, and zero acknowledgement when they keep patrons waiting, has negatively impacted our opinion of this establishment.
Update: Food was due at 8:15. No food at 9:15. No refund or apology was given. This is a place that we have recommended to many friends over the years. We are disappointed and will never recommend us Thai again.
So disappointed. Have loved this place for years, and tonight will be my last time going. Waited two hours for a pickup order only to find the order was incomplete and the food inedible.
Waited 2 hours for pick up along with many people. Stop taking orders if you’re behind. So disorganized.
waiter lowkey forget about us 😞
Close to authentic Thai. Not like american thai places. Their Medium is similar to hot at thai places, hot is surely beyond thai hot
Would recommend-
✅Basil fried rice
✅Pineapple Freid rice
✅drunken noodles
✅Pad see Eew
✅green curry
✅Pad thai
✅thai tea
✅Garlic Chicken
✅Egg Rolls
Wouldn’t recommend
❌chicken satay
❌pork dumpling
❌Crab wontons
Was recommended by a friend who lived here years ago. Food was fantastic.
The chicken Pad tai was very tasty and the medium is actually a medium not a mild so that was good. The staff was nice. It was a little to loud for my liking though. I will definitely be going back to try some other menu options.
Best Thai in Denver, no cap. 🇹🇭
I usually really enjoy the coconut milk soup but this time it'd not the best it was a little watery and I asked for chicken and veggies but it was mostly onion.
The best. Always
Mesmerized by the kitchen staff and those high-heat woks! I can't wait to have more coconut milk curry for lunch every day this week!
THE BEST THAI FOOD!!!!
Whoa! This place serves some of the most excellent Thai food I’ve ever had! If you’re a heat lover like me, this is definitely your spot. When it comes to spicy food, I like to feel the burn and work up a sweat, and this restaurant absolutely delivers. Most places that advertise extreme heat fall short, but here, their hottest sauce hits the mark perfectly—it’s almost inedible, but oh so delicious!
TIP: Absolutely get the Mango Sweet Rice! It’s hands down the best version of this sweet dessert I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable spicy Thai dining experience!
The meal was great, we loved our dishes (basil fried rice, satay and pineapple curry). My only complaint is that I didn't actually get pineapple in the pineapple curry.
Great food, tiny dining room, worth every penny
Man, so good, so fresh, so authentic. Only comment is coming from Midwest I would have scaled back my spice level from medium to mild+ but still such a great meal.
Picked up order and found it incomplete when I returned home. They would not issue a credit for the missing item without going all the way back to the restaurant. I won’t order from them again.
Best Thai in denver! Fish House special is very good.
I used to love this place. This time I was brought the wrong dish and they never came to check on me. I had to walk up and tell them and they still charged me for it. The crab wontons were small and dry, the chicken wings were dry and over sauced.
This is the only bad experience here. I tried to teach the young server to check on people after they take a few bites. The table next to me got their food and he never came to check on them incase he brought the wrong food in my case. That’s the only tip I left tonight. And I’m a big tipper we gotta support our servers if they do it right
A treasure of a spot. Beyond delicious noodles, intimate, diligent service, and pricing you can’t beat. 10/10
Still the best Thai in Denver. We always enjoy our food, every dish we've ever ordered.
Best Thai around
Great food at excellent prices!
Really delicious green curry and great service!
hot hot hot
Food was ok, I don’t think they have many vegan options if any. I asked for curry without fish sauce. Said it was not possible ? I think? My Panang curry was very very fishy. Spice level and flavor was ok, but I wasn’t very happy. It’s also the LOUDEST restaurant I’ve been in a very long time. Would recommend for take out, but would not sit down in here again without noise canceling headphones.
My FAVORITE Thai restaurant in all of Denver. Everything is delicious!!! Their dishes can be on the spicy side, so order one level down from what you would typically order at other Thai restaurants.
I love this place. I have got food here 50+ times. Always delicious!!!
Portion sizes are SO small, paid $15.25 for US Thai special, I took a couple bites and half of it was gone. Also ordered chicken pad Thai and drunken noodles, it’s like they ran out of chicken and noodles, those little black containers were half empty. Spent $60 on this dinner I’m very disappointed, not worth it.
Absolutely terrific. Attentive staff, quick service, altogether friendly atmosphere, and EXCELLENT food. I live across town, and I travel by 40min bus just for the panang curry. Everything and everyone rocks.
10/10. Hiiiighlyyy recommended!!
I’ve eaten at many Thai places around in denver. This spot is close to authentic as it is! Keep up the authenticity, heat, and flavor, I’ll be back for some more! :P
very good food! Would recommend to family or friends.
One of my favorites ever. Best food best service!!!
F
ood is still great but half the portion size. Still hungry after meal with appetizer. :(
As always, simply the best!
No frills proper Thai food
Best Thai food I've ever had. Nice staff.
THE BEST!! If you're looking for a Thai place, look no further. No other spot has even come close. Delicious foods with quick service. I tell everyone I know about this place.
Solid local Thai place; very affordable too!!
My husband and I got takeout from here and shared:
- Pad See Ew
- Pineapple Curry
- Mango Sticky Rice
It was all fantastic. I think the Pineapple Curry was my favorite, but you can't go wrong. It was so flavorful.
I ordered mild+ which had quite a bit of heat—they don't mess around with heat, so don't order based on typical American spice levels.
Their portion sizes are big too. I was stuffed after finishing it all.
Still thinking about the food I had last night at US Thai Cafe. The beef pad see ew was so flavorful, and I loved the appetizer combo (not pictured because it was quickly devoured). I'm excited to return to try more menu items!
US Thai in Edgewater is the BEST Thai food in Denver! Try the pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice or any of the other delicious dishes. The Thai ice teas are refreshing and tasty. Parking can be limited but there was plenty of seating when we dined in. Reasonably priced!
The food is always excellent. Sometimes there is a wait but it is worth the wait for made to order food.
Food is great and prices are very reasonable. This is my go to Thai place.
Hands down the best Thai food in Denver. Must try!
Food was great. Our server was very friendly. It was so loud and noisy inside the restaurant. Rickety chairs. No alcohol options. If I lived closer I would just do takeout and not eat at the restaurant.
Could really use a sign outside or something. Parking situation is annoying. Food that i was willing to spend my money on was probably good but everything else isnt worth the hassle
Bring a jacket.
Food was great!
Great curry and drunken noodles. Great service
Great experience, and great food. Pineapple curry was awesome.
Possibly best Thai food I’ve ever had in the US and reminded me of the food actually in Thailand. Tom kha is incredible!
Ya’ll this is the best panang curry I’ve had in Denver!!!
This place has great Pad Thai. My only complaint is that the portion has gotten much smaller. I used to be able to make two meals out of it but on my more recent take out orders, the container hasn’t even been full.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Denver. Very reasonable prices and delicious spicy food. I love their basil fried rice and pad see ew. I like to think I can handle spicy food and Mild+ is good enough for me. Very spicy- medium is hot.
Very small portion and mild plus was very spicy. The prices and taste is good very tiny portion for dinner.
I had to change my 5 star to 1. After the worst online experience they accused me of stealing food tonite AFTER they messed up the order and we're 34 minutes late. Never again
Still the best
US Thai NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Super tasty. 100/10 would recommend to everyone.
The best Thai restaurant. So original and homey, great fast service too.
What happened US THAI? This is literally
filled halfway for the dinner portion? We live close by and have gotten US Thai for years. This is truly disappointing. We love to support you and prices are market competitive so I’m not expecting a feast but at least a decent portion(this is not even close). Bummer!
Wonderful little Thai place, it's a gem if you like things hot hot
Delicious and fast food. A coworker brought me here and it’s worth every penny. Yummy. Thai tea good too. Try it out!
Great food.
Service with a smile :)
I have been to Thailand and also had a Thai-girlfriend cook for me. Since then I have been looking for good Thai food and have not been overly impressed by the restaurants here in Denver. The most basic of dishes served in Thailand is Pad-Krap-Pow (like a hamburger here) usually with some meat or some sort. So I always order this as well as Pad-Thai just to see if they are good, they were both GREAT. If they can get the 2 most basic of dishes perfect then I cant wait to try the rest.
Just went back 2023!
This place still looks unassuming, it doesn't have fancy upscale decor and I like it that way. Cause they focus on putting out some of the best Thai food in Denver. Pad Se Ew, Drunken Noodles, were great!
I had the Thai fried rice with pork and medium spiciness. It was superb. Hot but not too hot for me. Perfect blend of flavors and very satisfying. Service was great. Atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall, which I enjoy.
Dinner here was ok but man, the service is the slowest service I've experienced in Denver. They're perfectly friendly. Once seated it took over 20min to get apps and 20 more min for the apps to show up. And then more time after they gave us the wrong appetizer.
The takeout business is definitely booming and seems to be where they focus. This causes the atmosphere to be a lot of people looking around hoping their food will show up soon.
My friend and I don't eat pork and ordered veggie spring rolls. They brought us pork ones. The green curry we ordered with chicken was decent but the massaman curry we ordered with chicken also showed up with pork.
good prices, VERY good thai food, probably some of the best in Denver! bare in mind if you can’t take spice, JUST GET MILD. Their levels of spice definitely got KICK.
Wonder Thai food!! Great service, friendly, and efficient. Wish you were in Montana!!! This is out to go place now when in Denver ☺️
Awesome food, great spice.
This spot is so so good! Glad we got there when we did because it got packed! The food was delish! Will for sure be back for another round!
Hole in the wall, but great food. Everyone in our party were very happy with the basil fried rice, pad thai, panang curry, and wontons. Not too much difference in spice between mild+ and medium
Delicious food. I went for the burn and I will be back to order Thai Hot to see what they can do.
Dank!
Used to be my favorite Thai spot in the area but they never answer their phone and the online ordering through their site is such a pain I've just stopped ordering. Also the spice levels became really unreliable (or I got someone else's order a few times).
Un. be. lievable. Unbelievable. I don’t live in sloans lake or anywhere close, but I would walk 500 miles just for this Thai food from US Thai. I had heard it was good but never been motivated enough to make the journey, but OH how I have missed out until today. Everyone do yourselves a favor and eat at US Thai. It’s stupid how good it is.
An excellent Thai restaurant ... too expensive for rice plus but flavor is close to 3rd world flavors, not perfect but very close.
Some of the best Thai in the city. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and the egg rolls. Truly wonderful but recommend getting the food to go because it's loud inside and hard to hear. The waiters were super busy, so it took a while for service.
Great spot.
If you love spicy food, this place won’t disappoint you. I love their papaya salad and drunken noodles (both medium hot). Pepper flakes in the drunken noodles were not as hot as the chili in the papaya salad. The salad was very spicy but good and I love it. I wish there were more noodles in the drunken noodles.
Currently closed as of July 29, 2023
Most of their menu has vegetarian options. Highly recommend the stir fry dishes - (a) US Thai special and (b) the Pad Khing with the fresh ginger strips. Food is prepared right then and there and gracious hostess with efficient service. Highly recommend it.
Best Thai food around
Great food and service. Be careful on the heat level. Most people order mild plus, medium at the max.
Absolutely the best panang curry in Denver! We have tried a bunch of panang curry all over Denver because it's over of my favorite foods, but this place takes the cake! The curry is so flavorful and has a great balance of veggies to meat! Also a great portion size!
good for to go only!
seems like good price but the portion is smaller than any other thai places!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Hands down. Thank you so much!
They don't serve Chicano people. For the second time being here. I've waited for a half hour before they served everyone else. Don't come here!
Excellent food, as always. Gotta watch the spice level, this is a truly hot place!
Food is great. Been here 3 times. But their mild is my hot haha. I ordered medium spicy and it was muy caliente. Still so worth being a regular place for me.
Great!!
The food is so good and a great price! This is my most visited restaurant in Denver since moving here.
Ordered online and carried out. Very busy place. Staff were quick, efficient, and easy to work with. The food was hot, delicious, and portions were reasonable. If I am back in Denver in the future, I would definitely eat here again.
I had the chicken wings. Went with medium heat. They were crispy and yummy.
Best Thai in the area, hands down! The wontons are deliciously crispy and generously filled. I like to come here when I really want to treat myself.
Fantastic food and prices! The decor is definitely lacking but they make up for it with the food and prices! A must see
My boyfriend and I love this place! Best Thai in Denver. We drive all the way from Wash park past so many Thai restaurants for this place. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
