We dined here as a group of six for lunch on New Year’s Day, and every single one of us was beyond pleased. One of our guests (my great Niece), who is from Thailand🇹🇭, was especially impressed with the authenticity and quality of the food—a high compliment in itself!

The Thai lemon tea was a standout for me—perfectly balanced in sweetness and so refreshing. We also enjoyed several dishes, including the Lamai Pad Thai, Crispy Chicken Khao Soi, Ka Pao (spicy basil), and Pad See Ew. Each dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. We even had leftovers to take home.

The service was outstanding as well. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her and my great niece got to converse in their native language. 😊

I can’t wait to return to La Ma Thai and am also looking forward to visiting the owner’s other restaurant: Som Dee Thai. This is a spot you’ll want to add to your list if you’re in the Edgewater

A cozy Thai food spot right near Sloan Lake.

The food was seasoned, well-done and flavorful with an affordable lunch special combo. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and the Pad Thai lunch combo. The side salad it came with was fresh and the dressing was a tasty peanut sauce.

The staff was very accommodating when I ordered the Thai coffee and was not a fan. They switch it to a Thai tea and I was very grateful for the grace they gave me. Thank you very much to their team.

This was honestly the fastest service I have ever had anywhere! Super cute spot located across the street from Sloanslake and was perfect for a romantic dinner. The Curry and Pad Thai were not only very visually appealing but both dishes were absolutely delicious and smelled amazing!!!!

Holy cow! This is some good Thai food! From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular! Our server was friendly, helpful, and made us laugh. He made sure to check on us regularly, but we never felt like he was imposing or annoying.

Our food arrived very quickly after ordering, and was prepared with care. It looked amazing and the taste was even better. These guys know what good spice (flavor and heat) is! All of our dishes were spectacular!

I took an extra dish to-go for the next day, and it was just as good!

We had a great time with this restaurant. The server was super friendly, I’ll be at a bit quirky, but it made for a very enjoyable experience. Everything was very flavorful and the portions were nicely sized. We will be back again!

This is our favorite restaurant in Denver. The Crispy Khao Soi Chicken is arguably the best dish in Denver. Their service is fantastic both in restaurant (quaint, low-lighting ambiance) and for pickup (a quick, 10-minute wait), and their food is consistently top notch. Sure, it is a bit more expensive than other places we would go for Thai, but once you try the Crispy Chicken, you won't go anywhere else.

Some of my favorite Thai food that I’ve ever had. The curry with the crispy chicken was my favorite bite last month. Wings were also amazing. Also enjoyed the Rum Thai Tea cocktail. The food was out hot so quick I was truly impressed. Will be back soon!

Went here last night for Valentines Day and it was delicious! The atmosphere inside is really nice, we were able to sit right away even on a busy night, and it was SO delicious! I ordered the crispy chicken khao soi and I cant stop thinking about when I can have it next. I eat a lot of Thai food and this place is awesome!

Excellent service and amazing food. Wonderful menu. Specialty drinks available. Boat noodle, pad thai and kao sai some of the best weve had. Of course if the thai fried rice ia good you have a good chance everything else will be decent, but here it was so good we will return!

Recently spent a few weeks in Thailand, this spot comes pretty close. Very good thai try the khao soi, coconut rice, and mango rice, very good would be an understatement. Obviously great service dude is over the top. You'll know the dude...

Delicious Thai food in the heart of Denver art district. We had noodle soup and Thai sausage as it was cold out. Great place to visit and get some Thai fixed as I’m originally from Thailand ❤️

This was the most expensive Thai spot in the area, yet it is the worst tasting Thai I have ever had. I got the pad Thai and it’s so flavorless that it is hard to believe. I genuinely believe this is the most disappointing meal I have had in my entire life.

I personally did not have a good food experience. Maybe my expectations for Thai spicy drunken noodles were too high. I hate when I ask for spicy and the kitchen decides to give me mild or bland noodles. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food Tum Yum soup and red curry dish. I will say at the very least I enjoyed my dessert the Mango sticky rice.

I recently took my grandmother to La Mai Tai Kitchen for what was supposed to be a quiet meal after she shared some deeply upsetting news. The experience was already emotional, but what happened at the end left us both feeling incredibly disrespected. As we were finishing up, waiting for our receipt, a server came over and told us we needed to leave because a large party was coming in. The restaurant was nearly empty, so it felt unnecessary and rude, especially considering we were just about to head out. Why not seat us somewhere else if they knew they had a reservation?

What made it worse was that the party who came in saw the whole thing and were so embarrassed by how we were treated that they apologized to us on behalf of the restaurant. Despite this, I still tipped 20% because I don’t believe in punishing the entire staff for one person’s lack of compassion.

To be kicked out while someone is visibly sad is beyond disappointing. Have some empathy, especially when people are clearly going through a difficult moment. This experience left a really bad taste in our mouths, and I won’t be returning.

I ordered mom’s soup two days ago, it only has (4) dumplings in it and a few spring sprouts. It costed about $17.5 after taxes. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Their Thai Spicy isn't to the level it should be. It's actually pretty tame. Other than that, good flavor.

I ordered 2 chicken pad thai spicy and Thai rice, they had no flavoring what so ever I was very confused and called to see if I can get something else or refund and they told me they don’t do that just because one doesn’t like the taste.. I spend $50+ on my order and drove 20 min back home to have no food.

Its always delicious,but it's hit or miss with the spice .I always ask for the hottest and half the time they give me the mildest . Not sure if they think I can't handle it or what.

I ordered to go and the drunken noodles were just very greasy and the level 2 was extremely mild compared to other Thai restaurants. Just go to US Thai or Ros Siam for drunken noodles.

I have ordered delivery from here several times, dined in once and got pick up once. It was really good. But a couple days ago I ordered delivery for my coworker and I and we both got sick after eating drunken noodles (different gi ssues) I tried the leftovers a little the next night since she and I had different stomach symptoms and it started to happen again I think it was the sauce :( so I threw the rest out. Disappointed

$17 for the blandest chicken noodle soup ever? Pass. Ate maybe half of it then tried giving to my cat, she didn't want the chicken either. Lacked any and all flavor. Girlfriend didn't like her dish and the egg rolls were extremely basic. Wish we'd stop praising mediocrity cause in no way should this place be rated so highly. Extremely disappointed but should've listened to friends who told me it was bottom Denver Thai food. Don't think I'd wanna spend $20 to give anything they have another chance unfortunately.

Came and ate here for the first time. I passed by it every day and it is a five star plus, I had Penang chicken with white rice. Very delicious. Definitely will come again.

Khao Soi with crispy chicken was delicious! My wife enjoyed the Khao Soi with wontons. Ka Pao, Spicy Basil, is so good! Spicy was the perfect level for me. We will definitely be back.

Had the specialty Pad Thai and the Curry Chicken Noodles. Both lacked a bit in heat and the flavors were mild. Some of this was fixed by the chili and chili oil condiments. Place was clean and the vibes were good.

My partner and I were super excited to try this place after reading the good reviews. On Saturday we got a pad thai and egg rolls to go. Unfortunately both items were terrible - the pad thai was super dry, sticky and almost flavorless, the fried egg rolls were super thick, really small and lacked flavor as well. It felt like we were eating week-old leftovers that had been sitting out. Neither of us are picky eaters but we were both really disappointed.

The food was bad. The server didn't even know who ordered what food. Slow service and the worst was they charged 18% gratuity on a 5 top. Had me feeling he did that so he can get a good tip. Not knowing I always leave a 20% tip, regardless....

I have lived within 5 mins of this restaurant since it opened and only just tried it last night. PHENOMENAL. I will be back :) I loved the Tom kha soup, pad see ew, and Penang curry. I got everything medium spicy. Highly recommend. Don’t lets it’s location deter you from trying.

Will absolutely be back. The pad see ew was sweet and savory. Everyone in the party enjoyed the food. The mango sticky rice was delicious, we wished there was just a little more coconut sauce.

Host asked to "see the dogs papers" when I visited with my wife and her service dog - in clear violation of the ADA. We explained the ADA and the two questions. He insisted on papers but went to get someone else, who was extremely nice. Because they had just discriminated based on disability. And the food was medium talent.

Came here for date night and the food was delicious! We got the boat noodles, ka prao with fried egg and the mango mousse. Highly recommend this place! Our server was nice and super helpful. Visited my friend Denver and discovered this little place. Food was good! They have a special noodles that I’ve not seen in any other Thai places I’ve been. It was called Street noodles. I love the texture of the noodles. It tastes more on the sweeter note, peanuty as well.

Not a good first impression when you're walking up to the restaurant and see one of the cooks smoking right outside the backdoor to the kitchen. The food was bland and overpriced for what you get. Service was mediocre. This was some of the worst Thai food we've ever had. Overall, the experience was poor. We will never come back.

I'm from L.A. so my standards with Thai food is pretty high- their panang curry was very tasty. I would probably skip their wings. Only comes in 6 and they weren't anything special.

I adore this spot! Their Pad Thai is the best—I frequently dine in or grab takeout here. The ambiance is stunning, and the staff is exceptional. Huge thanks for consistently providing excellent customer service!

The chicken was a too overcooked in the Red Curry. It was just okay. They gave a 18% service charge which was outrageous to me, when they didn't do much aside from refilling our water glasses and giving us food. They didn't even try to make conversation with you. They also put a calming video in the TV which seemed good with the atmosphere, but I didn't really prefer it. We got 3 items, but it ended up being over 70$, when it should have been closer to 50$. If you're coming to eat here, you should probably be prepared to pay more than what you think. Plus, the portion sizes are hella small for the price. If you're coming with another person, the portion size would be actually good for one person (with space in the tummy)... coming here hungry isn't a good idea lol

Loose shrimp tails in the drunken noodles which taste old and are pretty dry and definitely more what I would describe as hot rather than medium (so if you don’t like heat get mild). The chicken dumplings and cream cheese wontons were good.

This is our new absolute favorite Thai spot. We ordered the Khao Soi with chicken and a cashew chicken stir fry. Both dishes were flavorful and their Thai hot is legitimate. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be going back often!

Really good thai food with personal service and choices - casual

Great atmosphere and the best Thai food I’ve had in this state. Ordered the Lamai Pad Thai and it was phenomenal

Delicious! Highly recommend the drunken noodles. We are vegetarian so did tofu and no fish sauce and the taste was just as good. Two of us shared the dish and I've definitely had bigger servings for the same price at other restaurants, but it was still enough to fill us both (no leftovers though).

We came in around 5 and no one else was there but by the time we left, it was filling up more.

The panang curry smelled really good too.

We also tried the fizzy lychee drink and it was pretty good but VERY sweet. Maybe too sweet and I have quite the sweet tooth.

Will definitely go back.

Best Thai restaurant in Denver! We ordered Pad Thai and Ka Pao Spicy Basil with tofu. Both were soooooo good! Definitely try again soon.

In Denver for a couple days and craved some Thai food. La mai Thai really delivered.

I got the La mai pad Thai, and it was great! The flavor tasted good, the spice was there as well! The portion was bigger than I expected too! (The only small nitpick would be that the protein portion wasn't as much as I expected)

Service was great and attentive, really felt how friendly the staff was.

The place was decorated well and really felt cozy.

The food absolutely amazing! We ordered takeout, and it feels just as fresh as if we were in the restaurant. So flavorful.
