Authentic Thai Cuisine. No MSG added. Vegetarian and gluten free options.
Solid Thai spot in Boulder - featured on Food Network, Aloy Thai offers a HUGE menu with options for everyone - with curries, noodles and wok-fried dishes.
We loved our khao soi - very hearty and creamy curry soup with delicious and tender chicken and egg noodles.
Drunken noodles with beef were delicious - lots of veggies, meat and eggs and generous in portion. Thai milk tea is creamy and sweet and great to enjoy with your meal!
Joy was amazing- gave great recommendations and had great energy! This is one of my favorite places in town for Thai, and in my opinion the most authentic Thai around. Reminds me of my time traveling through there. Go burn your mouth in the best way and feast on some drunken noodles :)
Ahhhh....Kob Kun Krub..... thank you sooooooo much for a Fantastic selection of the Best dishes and Most Friendly Thai Restaurant in ALL of the Rockies ! Our fun party of four dined this week Monday eve in a wonderful setting surrounded by such attentive and smiling hosts and servers. Greeted by pretty lady Lea we had a nice quiet table with immediate service from our always glowing server Aisha. Both made us feel like we were a part of the family of Kim Naka, who has owned this iconic spot for some 18 years in Boulder,
Spring rolls, cheese crab wontons came out hot and not too spicy along with sipping sake with then patience for our questions in understanding the extensive menu of Thai dishes. I had the Wok Fry Kra Pow served with warm brown rice and a broth so full of herbs and spices. Pork, chicken or Beef maybe added to complete this delicacy. Others had Pad Thai noodles which could have served two!
Overall a wonderful evening of fine company and even better Thai food. SOOOOOO Gooooood! And thanks to Mui the manager for coming by to check on us. She asked how we were and we smiled so Big - full and very happy with our selections for the evening. We missed the Mango dessert as that treat had run out ! All the more reason to return soon.
Truly a memorable experience - Steve and Annette
After hearing great things about Aloy Thai Cuisine, particularly its feature on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," we were excited to try the dishes that Guy Fieri recommended. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the high expectations set by the show.
We ordered the Khao Soi and the Lemongrass Chicken, both dishes highlighted by Guy Fieri for their rich flavors and authentic preparation. The Khao Soi, a coconut curry noodle soup with chicken, had a promising description but ended up being rather underwhelming. The broth lacked the depth and complexity we expected, and the chicken was a bit dry. The Lemongrass Chicken, marinated overnight and grilled, was similarly average. While the tamarind sauce was a nice touch, the overall flavor profile was not as vibrant as anticipated. The food did not deliver the exceptional taste that we were hoping for, the only thing they did good was the presentation but flavor and taste wise. It was disappointingly average.
Not coming back
Aloy Thai’s panang curry with chicken is absolutely delicious—definitely 5-star food. Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the quality of the meal. I ordered the dinner portion with brown rice, but it came with white rice, and despite the server saying she’d bring the correct rice, it never arrived.
Partway through, I realized I had received the lunch portion instead of the dinner, which the server confirmed but only after I asked. Although she apologized and offered extra food to take home, I found it odd that she didn’t mention the mix-up upfront.
The bill also needed to be adjusted, as I was initially charged for the dinner portion. Overall, amazing food, but the service left a lot to be desired.
Mike was an amazing server. Very attentive and helpful with our questions. I’ve been to Aloy Thai a handful of times now and have always been greeted with a welcoming smile along with amazing food! I will definitely be back soon (:
Good food quality and lots of options! Really recommended
Great food
Very delicious food and good service. The Tom yum soup was very filling and the presentation on all of the dishes was really good.
Wow! Great service by Hung and very fresh food. A must go-to when in Boulder and family run.
Excellent service delicious food. The pontoon curry was so good.
Peak! Hung was a great server!!!! 10/10 being back the sriracha fired rice tho-
Great food. Authentic food. Hung is the goat and nice.
Very solid. Will eat here again
I loved the shrimp pad Thai!!
The green curry with tofu is my absolute go to whenever I come here. Always cooked to perfection and a savory dream. We got the mochi for dessert and it was such a satisfying sweet treat. Thanks again Aloy!
Fantastic Thai food, very pretty cozy restaurants and I highly recommend for anyone seeking good authentic Thai!
Best Thai in all of Boulder 🩵💗❤️
really nice people, clean - food is always tasty
Every time we come in, we look for Lea, always greeting with a smile comes out of her way to come talk to you! Every time I come in, kind of feels like family here.
Went to Aloy Thai when visiting my nephew at CU. We were seated immediately and the server came by to grab drink orders. We ordered appetizers and the server gave a complementary app as well even without asking. See below on food:
Apps:
Chicken Satay 4/5
Pork dumplings 2/5
Corn Fritters (free) 5/5 for being free!!
Thai Tea - 3/5
Main:
Panang Curry - 5/5
Drunken Noodled - 4/5
Thai basil - 4/5
Pad Thai - 5/5
Pad See Ew - 5/5
Would definitely come back!
great good great atmosphere
got the pad see eww. yummy. liked the satay too
The pad Thai I got was pretty good!!! 😊! I would recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a yummy Thai adventure 😋
Came here on a recommendation; overall quite pleased. Good portions, good spice. Didn’t love the dumplings, but everything else was great.
Loved the papaya salad & curries!
The best place in Boulder
I love Aloy so much! Best Thai food in boulder 😋
My wife and I have been fans of Aloy Thai in Boulder for a while now, usually opting for takeout or delivery. But today, February 23, 2025, we decided to switch things up and dine in for the first time—and we’re so glad we did!
I went with the pad Thai with chicken and a side of shrimp spring rolls, while my wife ordered the prig pow with tofu. We both asked for "hot" spice levels, though honestly, neither dish was overwhelmingly spicy—perfect for us since we enjoy a kick without needing a fire extinguisher handy. The pad Thai was a beautiful balance of tangy, sweet, and savory, with tender chicken and perfectly cooked noodles. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, with plump shrimp adding a nice touch. My wife’s prig pow was aromatic and flavorful, the tofu soaking up the sauce in all the right ways. As always, the food was fantastic—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and just the kind of comfort we crave from Thai cuisine.
What really stood out this time, though, was the experience of eating in at Aloy Thai. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and warm without being overbearing. The environment was inviting, with a cozy yet vibrant vibe that made it feel like a little escape right here in Boulder. It’s one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the area for a reason, and dining in only solidified that. Aloy Thai is a gem, whether you’re grabbing takeout or settling in for a meal. Highly recommend!
A lot of restaurant asmr here and Mike was a great server!!
Mike was awesome!
yum good
Yummers!
Delicious Thai food
Food is amazing great service. Lea is the best
Boulder has the best restaurants but this Thai restaurant is by far my favorite! The service, quality of food, and atmosphere are 10 out of 10! The appetizers to the dessert were amazing. I love Lea! She is so funny, I just love her. You won’t be disappointed
Really great food, nice people, easy pickup/order interface, all around great Thai place in Boulder!
Greatest Thai in Boulder! Such friendly staff as well. A go-to for my family.
Super friendly
'thai hot/5*' is not very hot. I needed to add a ton of hot peppers and chili oil to my tom yum to get some picante, but the flavors otherwise were on point.
Amazing service and attention to the customer especially amazing work ethic by Mike appreciate him really making me and my brothers feel at home and giving us recommendations for exceptional food overall loved it!!!!
The food here is always top notch, and tonight was no different. I got the garlic and pepper. Be careful with the spice here. I like things spicy, but level three here is just right for me (for reference, I always get the hot chili at Santiagos!). Anyhow, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is quick. I highly recommend this place for dine in or take out. Portion sizes are great also. I always have some left over.
Delicious and good service, very accommodating for a large party
We love Aloy Thai! the food is always fresh and fast. Food is hot for takeout or dine-in, and we love the duck wontons. Khao soi is a hit, too.
Neung was amazing! Kind server great food!
Lunch was great!
One of us got a tom ka soup, it was super delicious. Very lemony and good. The potstickers were very delicious. I really liked their lunch special
Food and service were excellent. Neung provided fantastic and friendly service. The garlic and pepper dish was fantastic and loaded with vegetables. The lunch special was a great deal, especially if you like Thai coffee. This was my first visit and I will be back.
This is by far my favorite Thai place in Colorado, the service here is sooooo amazing, and the atmosphere is just as great. I would totally recommend this place.
We have loved this Thai restaurant since moving to Colorado years ago! We stop by on our way to Trader Joes. Neung was a wonderful server too!
Amazing flavorful and authentic Thai served up by great people in a beautiful atmosphere!
I come here often. Flavorful, friendly, and a comfortable atmosphere. It is always one of my top recommendations to friends and family.

The bill also needed to be adjusted, as I was initially charged for the dinner portion. Overall, amazing food, but the service left a lot to be desired.
They charged us a 23% gratuity after taxes and included a free item as part of the tip. Asked for chili oil and brought us some sweet sauce that was pretty bad. Service was pretty slow and food was honestly not that good. Better Thai places in Boulder like Busaba Thai and Buddha Thai.
Food was ok, but the price for quality was lacking.
Good food and music. Perfect relaxing with Thai food!
Yo !! Run, don’t walk - get to this place and have amazing food. I’m honestly blown away by this place. I had the Khao Soi - it was next level good. I ordered it at spice level 3 of 5 and it was so yummy - I could have gone several nights in a row.
Good recipes, but smaller portions..well presented..
I cannot believe that people go here for the food. Went tonight for birthday dinner with three others. Apps were underwhelming. Spring rolls sprung grease with every bite. Ordered “cashew” from Wok Fry. Basically a stack of vegggies, undercooked, room temp with barely any sauce. I couldn’t even eat it. Asked to take it back which they did. Ordered Pad Thai. How could they mess that up? Came out dry with burnt tofu. I ate it since I didn’t want to embarrass my daughter twice. My wife had Pad See Eew. Tasteless, limp noodles. I mean, come on. I’ve had Pad See Eew in countless Thai restaurants. It’s served with a popping sauce. This was limping to the finish line on a Sunday night. The entire time there, Guy Fieri video was on replay. Apparently they were on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. I find it hard to see him talking about smoking hot dishes. What a sorry dinner this was.
Delcious healthy thai food in a laid back atmosphere iwth awesome customer service.
We've been ordering Aloy takeout almost weekly for the past 10 years. The food is amazing and the people are super nice.
Ridiculously overpriced
2 entree’s and 2 small appetizers. Mixed Vegie and chicken curry and wontons - but only 4 - not 6. $5 delivery. $70 not including tip. I expected exceptional. Not even close
Had a wonderful time here with my family. Neung went the extra mile with everything! Great experience!
Terrible service - stay away! Never got to try the food because two staff members forgot my requests. Expensive and misleading menu for dietary restrictions. They didn't offer even a free $2 green tea to make up for the errors!
Favorite Thai in Boulder
My family of 8 walked in without a reservation on the weekend and were very impressed with this place!! The food was incredible, but what really made the experience was how family-friendly the staff was. They brought out kid-friendly "appetizers" for free to help keep our toddler and baby entertained while we waited for our meals. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, amazing service, and incredibly delicious food! We LOVED the curries and pad se ew. They also let us know they have kids eat free on Tuesdays, so we will definitely be back soon!!!!
Amazing Curry!
every time i come to aloy thai the food and service is absolutely perfect! i have been waited on by Neung twice and she remembered me from just seeing me once and is always so kind and accommodating!
Friendly host. Great food.
My parents were in town visiting and we were deciding on where to have dinner. My mom was interested in Thai and we suggested meeting my brother, his girlfriend in Louisville, and my son and nephew, both at CU. We chose Aloy because we knew from the years of repeated visits here that we would not be disappointed. The food was delicious and the e atmosphere and service were great!
I love this restaurant, in my four years at CU Boulder this is the only Thai restaurant I bring my parents to. Service is excellent, food is excellent, ambience is excellent.
Mia was so attentive and sweet. We walked in on a busy night and were met with friendly staff and quick service.
Our server was AMAZING and just the sweetest! Food was fast and delicious
Best Thai food in Boulder! It’s always fresh and delicious, and easy to modify for vegetarian/vegan options. Service is also good - Mia was awesome!
Joy was such a lovely server who made us feel right at home! We loved the panang curry, papaya salad, and drunken noodles. We’ll be back for mango sticky rice next time! Thanks Aloy
Joy was amazing- gave great recommendations and had great energy! This is one of my favorite places in town for Thai, and in my opinion the most authentic Thai around. Reminds me of my time traveling through there. Go burn your mouth in the best way and feast on some drunken noodles :)
Love how the food is actually spicy!
The drunken noodle is really good
We had a delicious lunch here and the service was amazing ^_^ ♡♡ thank you Chantal for being an amazing waitress!!!
Incredible! Chantal wrote me and my partner a nice message in sriracha when we mentioned it was our anniversary. Couldn’t be happier!
Amazing and authentic Thai food! Speedy quick and friendly service! Best drunken noodle dish I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of drunken noodle in my days.
Every time I've come here I've gotten the Drunken Noodle because it is so delicious. Veggies cooked and proportioned wonderfully, and service is always great. Definitely a good place to bring visitors.
Great food great service great vibes
Great service from Lina!
One of my favorite restaurants! High quality delicious food, cozy atmosphere, kind servers!
Aloy Thai is our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I’ve enjoyed the beef pad Thai, yellow curry with chicken, potstickers, boba tea, and mango mousse. The quality is top notch and the wait staff is friendly.
Very friendly staff, great service and delicious food!
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had
Very great experience, and excellent food.
great service yummy food and welcoming calming interior
Good food!
This place was delicious. We split a plate of the stir fried veggies and pork (Kra Prow) and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was also great. Will be back soon!
Best Pad Thai on the planet! The noodles are always cooked perfectly and the spices are great. The beef version is tender and very flavorful!
Love this place and that they have kid meals, which is unique. As vegetarians, there are a lot of great options and they don’t skimp on veggies. This is a staple for us in Boulder!
I love this place! The food is so fresh & delicious. I’ve not had a meal there that wasn’t 10/10
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Boulder. Consistently good food and great service. We’ve been coming here for 15 years.
Great vibes great food great service
The Pad Thai was a standout, perfectly stir-fried with crunchy peanuts and fresh vegetables, while the Green Curry offered a delightful balance of spice and creaminess that left my taste buds wanting more. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff further enhanced the experience, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this gem for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine—it's a must-visit!
Neung was a fantastic server, she really made me and my boyfriend’s experience the best. I recommend this restaurant if you want some yummy Thai food.
Aloy Thai is easily one of my favorite Thai Restaurants in the United States. Every time I am in Boulder I dream about visiting this lovely establishment. Such consistency and high quality over so many years! Panang Curry, Fresh Spring Rolls and Hot Ginger Tea… The BEST!!!
Aloy Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem! My server, Neung, was fantastic and made the experience even better. I had the vegetable egg rolls, which were fresh and crispy, and the Khao Soi specialty — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The balance of flavors in every dish was spot on. If you’re craving fresh, authentic Thai food, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! I simply can’t get enough.
The chef noodles were absolutely the bomb.com! Do not be scared by the Thai hot, you will probably be okay.
The food was delicious (as always) and the service is quick and friendly.
Best panang curry!
Great pad see we!
Great food, and a nice space for families, groups of friends, or a quiet dinner out. Staff are friendly and efficient, too. 😊
Aloy is simply the best! Fresh and delicious
Their Drunken Noodles are like no other! I crave this dish. It’s so good.
Great food, atmosphere & service!
Aloy Thai has the best pad Thai in Boulder county.
Really tasty Drunken Noodles
My favorite Thai restaurant in boulder.
Ahhhh....Kob Kun Krub..... thank you sooooooo much for a Fantastic selection of the Best dishes and Most Friendly Thai Restaurant in ALL of the Rockies ! Well done!
Nueng V is amazing!!!
Best Thai food in town! So many great dishes. Been coming here for years. My go tos are the Panang, Khao Soi, & Chefs Noodle. Willingness to make things GF which is nice.
Delicious food and great experience!
It was amazing!
Food was exceptional. Our server, Emma, was wonderful. She was prompt, helpful and very friendly.
This place was amazing! We loved the food especially the ayothaya noodle soup. The hosts were very kind and helpful getting us our food. We will be back.
Food, service and staff were efficient. We will be back👍
Really great atmosphere, and wonderful food. No complaints! Very friendly service as well!
Just a perfect dining experience. Everyone should come and enjoy this wonderful restaurant.
ate here this afternoon and loved the food! i 100% recommend aloy thai if you're looking for consistently delicious thai food and good service with many vegetarian & gluten free options in boulder :)
Soo delicious and super friendly knowledgeable staff! Definitely get the Khao soi or tom yum noodle soup!
Love this place!! Best Thai food in boulder!!!
Awesome food! The Pad Thai is fantastic.
Best Thai food in Boulder. Can’t be beat. Eat there all the time.
Consistently fantastic! It’s the best Thai in Boulder imo.
Very good food with a great atmosphere and very nice staff.
The atmosphere is nice and the food was very tasty, we had a variety of the appetizers with some soup and some of the entree dishes. As vegetarians there were tons of options to choose from. Delicious Thai food!
car died in the parking lot. waiters jumped it. thank you for helping my grandma. 10/10.
Quite Disappointed -
First time, had a great experience with the food.
Now twice in a row, I have experienced pretty much the same thing. Clearly defined in the order - no mushrooms and the fried rice were full of mushrooms. Zero onions and I never mentioned to take out the onions.
The quantity has been significantly reduced (I ordered the lunch portion). Not sure the chef is missing reading the entire order or if there is something else but it is very unfair to pay ~$16 for lunch (without tip) and don’t get the correct order and the quantity. Yes, you have a lunch box and there is quantity that’s supposed to come in that box. And the quantity in that box seems to be very less. Sorry that’s true.
Then while stepping out I asked the gentleman if I can order the Thai ice Tea (there is a 50% off when you order an entree). He disrespectfully said ‘it’s only for dine in, have a good day.’ It came across he wanted me gone. Well, it was a simple question and that’s it. No rocket science here. I understand he is just answering what he has been told to say but you don’t have to be rude about it.
The service was disappointing. The server seemed annoyed to be serving me, barely made eye contact, and didn't smile. In contrast, she smiled and was attentive while serving others. It was an uncomfortable experience.
Amongst our favorite Thai in Boulder. Great Panang curry! Their cashew stir fry (with extra veggies) and Pad Thai are also excellent.
The music is SO LOUD.
For some reason they play the explicit version of songs.
Best Thai in Boulder! This is almost a weekly Sunday order in spot for us. Also have had great experiences eating there - the service is so quick and the food is amazing. We almost always get the gyoza, egg rolls, green curry and pad woo sen (rice noodles). The drunken noodle, pad see ew and pad Thai are also great - and the beef is so delicious! Its definitely pricy, but worth it + You’ll save a lot if you call in and order directly from the restaurant too vs DoorDash or Uber eat fyi
The service was amazing.
We had an issue with our dish, but the server was gracious and immediately rectified the issue.
We got new food which was delicious, and the chef came out to ensure everything was ok, and dropped the charge for the entree, even though the new food was delicious.
I highly recommend the eggplant dish!
以前在Boulder居住時,時常到這裡用餐。跟幾年前比起來,餐點擺盤是變美了,價格也相對增加了,但是口味卻變差了一些,服務也變差了…..以後回Boulder,可能不會再將此列為必訪餐廳了。
This is the most bland Thai place I've been and for those Boulder prices, it just isn't worth it
Food was ok, but not outstanding or anything
If you have been to Thailand or lived there, this food isn’t good. Every dish is so loaded with sugar, it’s really hard to enjoy. This is not how Thai food really taste. I get it they might be modifying it for the American pallet – and feeding the sugar addiction. Does not make it right or make the food taste any good. We had the drunken noodles and red curry – both felt like desserts. The green papaya salad came without any lime juice so we ended up asking for two rounds of fresh limes to make it somewhat tasty. Would not go back.
As the delicious Pad see ew hit my tastebuds I was instantly transported to a gastrological experience like no other. Forget your trip to Thailand! be transported there through the cuisine at this restaurant.
Do not try-Pad Thai; Recooked noodles, overcooked tofu, pasty taste and lacking any freshness. Left most of it and I was starving... I mentioned to staff and no follow up.
Good spring rolls with fresh ingredients, and savory peanut sauce.
30% capacity on a Sunday; I sat at a window table and was asked to move. Poor quality and service
Have been to the Boulder location many times. This time, however, we were pressured by our server to order almost as soon as we sat down. We were with some recently married friends and needed to catch up. All of us were aware of the pressure and had never been rushed before. There was lots of seating around us so it made no sense.
After we ate someone who I believe was the manager asked us in a very direct way to leave as a large party was outside waiting to be seated.
Having owned a restaurant myself I understand turnover and the fact that a certain number of patrons must be served to turn a profit. This was not my problem, it was the way in which it was accomplished.
He was rather rude and dismissive and that does not work for me as a paying customer.
So I hope for his sake that large party of people who I believe were from out of town comes back on a regular basis because he managed to lose my business forever.
We were never even asked if we wanted to order dessert which we would have done if it was offered. Good food terrible management.
After hearing great things about Aloy Thai Cuisine, particularly its feature on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," we were excited to try the dishes that Guy Fieri recommended. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the high expectations set by the show.

I needed a Thai meal. It's been a long time, and this place hit the spot.
We have gotten takeout from here twice now. Their online ordering system is really easy to use and remembers past orders (allowing edits first). I can’t eat gluten and many other foods and they are so good about making sure the food is safe and that’s without conversation- it’s just built into the ordering system! What a breeze! We like that we can choose to not receive utensils too. Food is always hot when we pick it up. Pad Thai is a bit tangy for my taste but the fried rice is exactly what I was hoping for. Can’t wait to try more from their menu!
Nothing particularly good to say about this place. It's not terrible but everything is below average except the prices.
We came here after hiking and were starving. We got the pad Thai, pad see ew, and Thai fried rice. Fav had to be the pad see ew.
