Stopped by today. First time visit. They were nice and gave me a water while I waited for my order. I ordered the spicey fried rice and fried tofu app with extra side of sauce. Didn't get the extra sauce I paid for... and no one asked me level of spice so fried rice, while full of flavor was not spicey/hot. The tofu app is a meal itself, almost like tofu chicken fingers due to breading and nice sweet sauce with peanuts. Overall food was good, and fresh, decent portion size. Would definitely go back but will need to make sure everything is there before I leave and make sure I let them know that I want my rice spicey!

My family and I ate in and we were happy we did because the owner was super friendly and came out to talk to us. He made sure the food served was on par, which it most definitely was. Give this place a shot. You will be happy you did.

We ordered pa-nang curry, chow mein with seafood, mango sticky rice and fresh rolls. The curry flavor was good but was 95% sauce with very lil chicken and peppers. The chow mein was dry and the mussel in it were exceptionally bad, very fishy and dry. The mango sticky rice was weird the rice was dried to the point it seemed uncooked on the edges and the mango even had brown spots. Overall nothing seemed fresh and we will not return.

First of all I found a giant piece of women's hair in my food 🤢 This is not thai food there wasn't any mint or cilantro it was parsley not to mention the fried rice had meat that was overcooked and had the consistency of beef jerky wasn't much flavor but if you like real Thai food don't go here they don't even have mint that's ridiculous mint and cilantro is a staple in Thai food for flavor among other things not to mention the peanut sauce for the satay tasted more like a curry rather than peanut sauce. I'd say pass on this place although the cashier dude was really friendly the new owner seems like he doesn't really care and is just selling to a demographic in this area who doesn't know about real Thai food. So sad 🙄

Too often in a post covid society places leave me fealing like I didn't get what I paid for however, this place always makes me feel happy with the money spent. The work and attention they put into their food shows. Thai food Express has lower pricing than a good portion of fastfood joints and with Thai you get better health points and exceptional quality you can't get in many sit in restraunts whether you take to go or dine in. The atmosphere is homey and designed much like when travelers discover that restaurant for locals. I am an avid Thai food fan with high appreciation for cultural foods in particular and I was instantly impressed so much that this has become my go to Thai house. Whether for a quick boba and chat or a simple dining out with the Wife I absolutely enjoy my visit every time. The owner and his family are extremely nice people! The over all place is small however, for some people like myself, that is a perk. If you shy away from crowds and want good cultural food with great service from kind hearted people this is a place worth experiencing.

The food was outstanding. Reminded me of where my family use to eat many years ago! We tried Tom Ka Kai, sweet and sour pork, Chicken Pad see ewe and butterfly shrimp appetizer. Every item was delicious, great portions and reasonably priced. And the staff that were there when I picked up were very welcoming and friendly! We will definitely be returning!

rlly rlly delicious food good atmosphere and amazing service all at a very reasonable price!! not much seating here but as we were the only ppl there there was plenty of seating! i think that is also why there was such good service!! def come try it out!! its worth it:))

This place recently changed it's owner and the food is tasting much better now. I knew it looks like an average place from outside but you should definitely try this place if delicious and authentic Thai food is what you like.

Menu looks good online. Food pictures also look good. They open just at lunch time. I think they might close after the lunch hour for a little bit also, so check the hours before driving over. Prices seem like they might be a little high, but I haven't been here yet so I'm not sure what the portion sizes are like. All in all, it seems like a nice place. I might try it some time.

Pad this was on point .my girl had the chicken salad. Been here a few times and they are always friendly and detail oriented. Never miss a beat.

The prices are high & the portions are small. The food taste good but be ready to drink a lot of water because you're gonna be thirsty for a couple hours after.... probably from all the MSG that needs to be rinsed out of your body. A 530 dinner left me awake all night sweating with a pounding heart, definitely from this horrible chemical tainted food

Don’t let the look of it being a fast food restaurant fool you, this place is fantastic! Their food and service are excellent and they also catered a large 200 person wedding.
They are the best Thai food in the area in my opinion and definitely worth going to.

A small friendly fast Thai food restaurant with mostly "main stream" Thai foods. The food is always hot and delicious. The mango sticky rice is "the bomb". All in all a great place.

Tried this place first time today. It is small but clean. Had the lunch special - portions appeared small, but really you get small portions of a huge variety of things: soup, salad, entree w/ choice of rice, a wonton, & other fried thing. Pretty presentation of food - all the ingredients well represented in the dish. Food - fresh, tasty, filling but not heavy. Friendly servers. Thumbs up!

Their food is tasty! The only negative is that I eat at a lot of Thai restaurants and this place serves small portions for the price. It doesn't cost much more to increase the portion size a bit.

I mentioned it to the owner but he did not acknowledge it as input from his customer such as ...saying thanks for your feed back, we will look into it....he just excused it away.
But all in all that is the only negative....good place, good food!

Food is fresh and tasty. The parking is easy and it's nice and cozy inside. Seems like a family run buisness which ilwe kind of liked. They had tons of vegetarian options which was perfect! Service was fast and friendly. The Thai ice tea was tasty. Hope this place stays in town.

This place is awesome! Delishes freshly made food cooked to order and super fast. AJ, the man in charge, is not only easy on the eyes but super nice and attentive. Had the Pad Thai with chicken and would recommend it to anyone. Very clean and nicely decorated .

Their Thom Kha Soup is so darn good! Thai Xpress lives by their name. The restaurant is sleek, clean, and service is fast. Even when it's slightly busy their is never a shortage of attention. The staff is super polite, and if you're a regular they remember your orders and ask how you're doing. Great location with ample parking.

Disappointing. Soup had no flavor. Ordered food spicy and was bland. Noodles dry and beef tough. Drive the extra 5 minutes to Calimesa.

It's quick.

The Seafood Kapow was poorly prepared. With the exception of the mussels all other seafood ingredients were grossly overcooked resulting in fish with the texture of jerky, calamari like rubber and extra chewy shrimp. In spite being listed on the menu, scallops were not part of our dish. The vegetables received the opposite treatment with most being completely undercooked. Being very familiar with the spicy nature of Thai food we requested our dish be mild, and instead were delivered a medium to spicy meal. When we pointed all of this out to the server and asked it that it be corrected, she simply ignored us. With excellent alternatives like Thai Chili and Thai House in the area this imposter provider of cuisine should be avoided.

Never had bland, tasteless Thai food until now. If you have never tried Thai food because of the spice, this place is for you. The food tastes like it really wants to be traditional Thai food. I was so excited that Yucaipa finally had a Thai food restaurant, and not another pizza place. I really wanted to like this place, so disappointed.

Owners are very friendly and nice. Service was quick. Food tasted good. We'll come back again to try a few other items. Hours are long and they have a really great lunch special.

I love their food. I enjoy talking with the family. They present an inviting atmosphere, with smiles, and stories and laughter.

This discovery turned out to be a really good one! It is authentic Thai food (I have traveled in Thailand). I tried 'Satay Chicken', 'Spicy Basil Leaves Fried Rice', 'Pepper Steak'. Everything was prepared well. The service was good and quick. I really wanted to try 'Sticky Rice with Mango' as well but I just couldn't eat more. Planning to go back and try all the unique/interesting menu items. I love Thai food and I loved this restaurant a lot!

Food is good, and the workers are nice. However I don't like how they do their pricing. They charge $2.00 extra for shrimp and mock meat, which is fine but I ordered a soup that came with shrimp and wanted mock meat instead and they charged an extra $2.00. Can't say I'm happy about having a $9.00 small soup.

Stopped in for lunch on (to go) on 1-3-17 and ordered Pad Thai and Orange Chicken w Fried Rice, the service was quick and very polite. Unfortunately the Pad Thai sauce was not at all what was expected and the chicken was pretty tough. Somewhat disappointed, but will try again and update this report at that time.

This place has the best Thai food. Great inexpensive local spot to get authentic Thai food and drinks. I got the chrysanthemums tea and it's so good. My family all loves the dishes they got. No complaints!
