I always go to the one on Reseda and they always satisfy. This one, I gave a try when they first opened and was dissatisfied. I gave them a second chance tonight because I live in Woodland Hills, and they disappointed me once again. The Thai Boat Noodles market style had no flavor. I ordered it medium spicy. If you know Thai Boat Noodles, you know it is filled with umami flavors! This one was flavorless. I barely made it edible with the condiments I had to add from the table. I am sadly dissatisfied. Sorry, but I can't go back to this one. Driving an extra 15 min to Lum ka Naad in Reseda is well worth the drive. Feeling sad, disappointed, and dissatisfied.
December 2024 Update. They lost my business. I knew at some point they had to start cutting Corners to pay for the high rent of being on Ventura boulevard. This particular location went downhill quick! Ordered the Mee Grob, and it was 99% fried noodle. Only two small shrimp, hardly any chicken, barely any tofu.
Hardly anyone was in the restaurant, two tables, maybe two or three people at each table. I can understand if this place was totally packed there'd be a shortage of Supply or something. But for a Saturday night, I would think this restaurant would aim to please, and go above and beyond to try to make their customers happy.
Sorry, not sorry. I'll be taking my business to the other two locations, and see how they do.
Who would have known Thai’s foods better than a Thai person like myself?!
Freshness produces and ingredients with authentic flavored felt like you were just took a long 19 hours flight straight to Thailand without any TSA checked point. This branch is the baby one of their well established restaurants in Reseda and Encino which I had many visited in both. Friendly staffs are great for all three locations.
Lum Ka Naad is a must-visit for Thai food lovers in the valley! The yellow curry is rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, with tender chicken and soft potatoes that melt in your mouth. The cashew chicken is just as incredible – juicy, flavorful, and paired with crunchy cashews and crisp veggies. Great flavors, friendly service, and an inviting vibe. Don’t miss this spot!
Ordered duck soup and wonton, soup tasted “Chinese broccoli” (aka Kale) and cilantro were the only ingredient, and the wontons had almost no filling. Wontons were basically a box of chips. Potentially the worst $33 I’ve ever spent. Was extremely disappointed. Also, if you have to put a disclaimer at the bottom of your menu about the food…..kind of says a lot.
Had the lunch special : Pad Thai noodles with chicken satay. Very disappointed with the dish. The noodles had no ingredients whatsoever...just plain noodles! Really? The chicken satay was 2 thin pieces of chicken on a skewer..3 skewers. The salad was coarsely cut lettuce with a splash of dressing. The egg roll was okay. Slow service... Staff was cordial and ambience nice. Not planning to return.
Food was ok. We were told medium spice level was pretty spicy, but food was quite bland at that level. The thing that was very irritaring was the same song was played on loop the entire 45 minutes that we were there. “Here Come The Sun” by the Beatles. We had to eat fast because we could not bear to hear the song one more time.

Better than the other thai places in the area

I like the drunken noodle here. The meat and vegetables are very tasty but it maybe has more oil than other restaurants when it comes to the noodles.
This restaurant was very close to a store I needed to get something from. Not too close to where I live but really enjoyed this restaurant's food, and will head back when I am close. Delicious!
i want to live under the kitchen and eat the scraps this place is so good

Good lawd this place is amazing! Delicious food from different regions. Modern but cozy atmosphere and such helpful and friendly service. PLENTY OF VEGAN OPTIONS! Highly recommended.
The best Thai Food in the Valley! We ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Phad Thai, The Chicken Satay (With the best peanut sauce) and Fried Wontons.
We are so happy this opened up in Woodland Hills! We highly recommend this place. Fresh ingredients, and the flavors are on point!
This place is amazing. The waitress was so nice and the food was incredible. We had the larb kua and the papaya salad.
I recently visited Lum Ka Naad and was extremely disappointed. The food was cold and lacked any flavor. The chicken and vegetables were not fresh, making for an overall unappetizing meal. Considering this is a new place, I had high hopes, but it fell far short of expectations. I won't be returning.
Food is amazing. Brand new thai spot in Woodland Hills. Great service, great prices, great menu. AUTHENTIC. Will be back for more
