Went to Night + Market and really gave it a shot, but I have to say—just not a fan. It’s definitely a fusion Thai place, which had the potential to be really great, but in reality, it just fell pretty flat.

Pastrami, in drunken noodles? Just doesn’t work. And honestly, the drunken noodles themselves had no real flavor. The massaman was decent, but the five-spice pork was kind of strange.

That said, the staff was super nice, and the vibes were cool. If you’re looking for solid Thai food, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. But if you just want a fun spot to grab a beer with friends and try some offbeat, experimental dishes, it might be worth checking out. Personally, I won’t be coming back.

I have had this place saved for a long time because I’ve heard great things about it, and I live in WEHO. I finally tried it tonight, I ordered take out to only receive a gray hair in my food within the first few bites. My first bite of chicken also was raw tasting and rubbery. I hate to leave negative reviews because I only want to celebrate great restaurants but I’m severely disappointed in this place. I wish I wasn’t. But it is what it is, I don’t recommend take out at least. Maybe there isn’t hair in their food when you dine in

Diner Review №15

Went in on a Friday night, booked about 2 hours beforehand for a 9pm seating.
The decor and vibe is relaxed and comfortable. The tables have cute bright plastic table covers and it’s bright and fun.
The food is amazing. There was a good selection of wine and because we ordered a bottle during happy hour we get free spring rolls.
So we ordered spring rolls, hidden treasures (which is basically Penang curry with shrimp and crab in its own little bowls, so cute and tasty) chicken pad Thai, and the beef massaman curry, as well as coconut rice, which did not plate as I expected. The coconut rice was more like spicy rice than fluffy coconut rice, which didn’t absorb the curry very well, we also ordered the garlic green beans. All the food was so tasty, word of warning the spring rolls were great and then in one bite there was a hot Thai chilli which I was not expecting. Definitely a great spot would recommend! Also they have carpet, on the bottom of the table so you don’t bang your knees maybe? Genius.

Diner Review №16

We waited more than 30 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated. No one checked in with us at all during that window to grab us a drink or just update us. I asked a couple times and kept being told our table was being cleared and then another 10 min would go by. The host was sweet when he did interact with us and brought us a plate of wings as a thank you for our patience. The food was pretty good but it didn't feel worth the wait. I have always wanted to go here and I guess I just didn't get the hype.

Diner Review №17

Fun place with amazing Thai food

Diner Review №18

Disappointing first time experience.

I found bones in the chicken Pad See Ew Gai. That feels unacceptable to me. My friend also ordered her meal vegan, and it came with egg throughout it.

The decor is cheesy and the atmosphere is super loud. You can’t hold a proper conversation over dinner.

There also aren’t any good non-alcoholic drink options.

Bathroom floors were sticky.

Will not be back.

Diner Review №19

If you hate flavor come here. Everything tastes like they never had Thai food. Even the inside looked both overdone and lifeless at the same time. The only benefit of this place is that the service was quick.

Diner Review №20

We waited 1.5 hours for food. The hostess does not know what she’s doing. Terrible service.

Diner Review №21

I'm so satisfied with the meal! The fried items were truly top-notch. Especially the spring rolls, fried chicken, and filet mignon satay—they were amazing. The only thing was that the Pad Kee Mao was a bit too salty for my taste. When I mentioned it, they kindly offered a refund. I'll definitely come back and enjoy more next time. This is a place I'd love to visit again!

Diner Review №22

Nice atmosphere but deeply average to poor food.

Diner Review №23

I had a very good experience at Night + Market Weho! The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, perfect for a night out. I loved the bold flavors of the Pork Belly and the Tom Kha Gai, a delicious soup made with coconut milk, chicken, mushrooms, and herbs like lemongrass. The cocktails, especially the Mango Mojito and the Thai Martini, were fantastic. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for delicious Thai food!

Diner Review №24

Rudest manager (Nathan)I ever dealt with. I don’t care if the food is good (their food is salty af) Nathan needs to get fired as he is racist and degrading to customers.

Diner Review №34

This place is great…. just not the same when they aren’t offering the hidden treasures :( so if you’re thinking about getting it tonight they don’t have it. Also the blonde waitress did not give out welcoming vibes. She was very cold and never smiled . Never asked came back to check on us. It’s really sad because I love this place but not sure I would come back because of the service by her.

Diner Review №36

Absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and appropriately spicy when ordered Thai spicy. We had the crispy rice salad with sour pork and it was crunchy, flavorful and sour. The sai ua was full of herbs and grilled perfectly, served with a fire nam prik. We also shared the pastrami pad kee mao and it was great. The pastrami works well with the noodles and basil and I always love a green peppercorn! Will have to be back.

Side note - cute interior!

Diner Review №37

Rudest staff experience I have had in years. Really surprising bc I have wanted to come to this place for a long time. I was sat for my reservation late, then crassly asked to get up and leave the table due to an error they made in the seating order. There were numerous open tables throughout the restaurant.

Please note that most of my reviews of restaurants are 5 stars, bc most people mean well - this felt malicious.

Diner Review №38

I was treated very rudely by a tall, bald server tonight. He was extremely disrespectful to my party and I. We decided to leave. Spent $600 elsewhere in a better restaurant in the neighborhood.

Diner Review №39

They mistreat uber/doordash/grubhub drivers.... no respect for hardworking Americans.

Diner Review №40

Diner Review №41

More casual than I expected. Food was delicious - service did a good job warning about the spice levels.

Diner Review №42

Tacky decor and disappointing service. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was awful, it tasted like it had gone off and we tried to exchange or reach a compromise but the manager was extremely rude. Would not want to give them my money. Spent $200 for three dishes and the terrible wine.

Honestly one of the few spots we must visit whenever we’re in town for work. It never fails. Happy hour is a great deal. Servers are knowledgeable. Claire slayed the game when we visited this last time. The right amount of spice. Flavors are amazing. Everyone go here.

Diner Review №52

The food served here is truly exceptional.

Diner Review №53

My first time dining in tonight. Great place, great service, and great management thank you for my mangoes it was amazing

Diner Review №54

All of the dishes we ordered were way too salty. Really disappointing.

Diner Review №55

Great food. Service for us was a bit lackluster and inattentive. And the tables and chairs are flimsy and uncomfortable. This made some sense years ago when they opened the first brick and mortar and their massive popularity required quicker turnover. But to age gracefully I’d think they’d want to upgrade the basics.

Diner Review №56

A great place for a Friday or Saturday night with friends! We got the panang, pad see ew, grapow, and gai tod (fried chicken). The fried chicken and panang were actually very good however the other two dishes were pretty salty and I wouldn’t recommend them. Thai iced tea was also delicious!

We had incredible food and wine. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was as vibrant and poppin as the music. And the wine selection is INCREDIBLE—especially if you like natural wines. 10/10 will visit again.

The pork salad and wings were off the chain delicious, along with the spare rib Panama curry.

I placed an order for pick up at 7:31 pm. I arrived at the establishment at 7:50 pm. They told me it wasn't ready. Ok. It's normal to wait 10 to 15 minutes. but 30 minutes of waiting and the order was not ready. It's a lack of respect for the consumer. It seems that they give priority to those who are in their physical environment, delivery orders be damned.

Best Thai Food in Town!!!

Diner Review №91

Colorful decor, food, and service. Everything about this place is brimming with life. The music is pumping on a Saturday night with absolute classics, the food is flavorful and well-prepared, and the drinks are made with a level of consistency and care that matches. We get takeout from here as well, but the experience of coming in for drinks and food is worth taking your sweatpants off for. Put on something cute and casual and stop in. The wait can get long, but bar seating can move pretty quickly, if you're feeling impatient or like sitting up at the rail.

Diner Review №92

This Thai spot is definitely what i would call average…. The service is amazing and they have some interesting thai beers, but its often loud with cafeteria ambiance.

The items that should shine like the food its where this place falls the shortest.
Given the ample variety of Thai restaurants in the city i would recommend other locations

Diner Review №93

Diner Review №94

A nice cozy Thai restaurant that feels like a authentic spot right out of Phuket. The decorations are nice, but feel a bit cheap for the price of the food. Food is served family style and average at about $18 per plate, but they aren’t so big as to fully serve two people from one plate (other places like TOI have the same price but bigger plates). Food was really delicious and I highly recommend the Pad Kee Mao (tho it’s quite spicy, be warned). I’d say the restaurant would work quite well as a date night or a fun friends night as the food is served family style. Beer is available, but not on the menu for some reason. I’d recc this spot!

Diner Review №95

Night+Market WeHo took me on a memorable journey of Thai cuisine, with flavors that left me in awe. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, although there were a few aspects that didn’t quite meet my personal preferences.

The food at Night+Market WeHo was undeniably some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. From the moment I tasted the wings, pad Thai, short rib curry, and mango sticky rice, I was transported to a realm of delectable flavors. Each dish was bursting with authentic Thai spices and well-balanced ingredients, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs.

While the majority of the dishes were exceptional, I personally found the chicken in the pad Thai to be less satisfying. Taste preferences can vary, and it didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, it’s important to note that this is a subjective observation, and other diners might enjoy it.

The atmosphere at Night+Market WeHo had a vibrant and energetic feel, reminiscent of a night club. While some may appreciate this lively ambiance, I found it a bit overwhelming for a dining experience. It’s worth considering whether you prefer a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere or enjoy the energetic vibe of a bustling establishment.

The waitstaff at Night+Market WeHo provided excellent service, showcasing attentiveness and professionalism throughout my visit. They were knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating to special requests, and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable.

In conclusion, Night+Market WeHo offers an unforgettable culinary adventure through Thai cuisine. With outstanding flavors and a menu that will leave your taste buds dancing, it’s a must-visit for Thai food enthusiasts. While the chicken in the pad Thai didn’t quite meet my personal taste, the overall quality of the dishes and the exceptional service from the waitstaff made the experience truly memorable.

Diner Review №102

Arguably the best Thai food in WeHo. Service is quick. One needs to ask for Thai spicy, if this is desired. Very good panang and papaya salad.

Diner Review №103

Rating is due to the bad customer experience. Ordered takeout. This was yesterday (Saturday 5pm-ish) and specifically it was the white girl w/the brown tortoise seeing glasses up at the entrance. I greet and ask for my order and she states it will be ready soon. I ask can u check around how long? (No parking available) so she stays in the same place looks me in my eyes and says it will be ready soon. It was literally dead (not busy) so she could’ve easily went and checked. The tall white bar tender witnessed it and didn’t say anything.

Diner Review №104

Went here for my birthday dinner with friends and it was a good experience overall. I had fun. Parking can be tough - street parking. The food was okay. It was definitely flavorful, it didn’t taste bad and the service was great, the employees were welcoming and patient and the food came out fast. I loved the location of the restaurant, towards the end of sunset strip before it goes into the Beverly Hills area. It’s a trendy and colorful place and has a casual feel to it. I’ve had better pad Thai - this pad Thai tastes pretty average. Which isn’t bad! It definitely tastes right and the chicken on both the pad see ew and pad Thai were great. The sweet potato curry didn’t taste like sweet potato and more like regular potatoes but paired well with rice. The crab wontons were the best - they were super delectable and I liked that it sat on a bed of vegetables. Flavor is heavy in general as is with all Thai food, lots of sauce and heavy seasoning but I guess that’s what makes it good. Wouldn’t go for Thai if you’re health conscious but once a week dining out can be okay. The sweets were sweet and satisfied my sweet tooth and the mangoes were incredibly fresh and sweet. It was good experience overall though! I rated it three stars because I think the food was pretty average and didn’t blow my mind and the price is regular pricing you see at a typical restaurant in LA.

Diner Review №112

I highly recommend the Tom yum Gong, shrimp fried rice, and pork toro. The food is very spicy. Be prepared! However, I don’t think it’s worth coming a second time.

Diner Review №113

It’s so bad place. I’m waiting 40 minutes though officiants sad that I need waiting only 5 minutes

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

Giving this location a three, because while I love the food, the experience is subpar because it's just too damn loud. The music was blasting on a Wednesday night at 7:30 like it's a club or a bar. I could barely hear my dinner partner and had to yell to be heard myself. People generally go to dinner with other people for good food and conversation with each other. Too bad the latter was impeded by the unnecessarily loud music that even our server said is too loud for staff.

Good food, but very strict rules for groups stifle the fun of dining here, felt rushed and Nickle and dimed as a group for every little thing.

Diner Review №126

Service was honestly 5/5. They were so friendly and attentive! The vibe was playful and I loved the throwback playlist!

I suggest getting here 15-20 min prior to your reservation because it takes that long (or longer) to find parking on the nearby side street. Unless you want to pay $20 to park at any of the fancy nearby hotels.

We got the pad see ew which was very mediocre tbh. I expected more from a place with Michelin rating. I had hoped there would be more vegetables and complexity in the flavor. We got no spice but the chili oil we got on the side added a huge spice kick (almost too much tbh, it wasn't regular chili oil lol)

That said, we also got the crispy rice salad and I'd go back just for that tbh. It was definitely spicy but it was super fresh and I loved the crunchiness of the peanuts and rice crisps. We got no pork and I thought it was just perfect without any meat!

We ended our meal with ice cream+roti which was pretty yummy, though quite greasy tbh. But it's a nice treat to share! I liked that they feature seasonal items like mango sticky rice during times when mangos are actually in season so you get good quality food!

Diner Review №127

Diner Review №128

I usually only write good reviews but this place and the manager was rude and condescending. They were discriminatory towards a friends seizure dog because it was not a mobility based service dog… decided not to eat here. There used to be a lot of lovely thai people here, now I don’t see a single thai person working in the restaurant…

Diner Review №129

Trendy Thai spot with a couple of locations throughout LA. Came here for an impromptu dinner in a group of 6 and had no reservation but we were able to get seated within 20 minutes at 9pm on a Friday evening. The entire party needs to be present before you get seated. Indoor dining only (no outdoor seating). Metered street parking as well as paid parking lots (we did one that was $20 all night after 5pm that was right by the Roxy. Credit cards accepted.

We had a vegetarian in the group so we got the sweet potato massaman and garlic string beans. The papaya salad does have meat. We got two orders of fried chicken wings for the 5 of us eating meat and it was my favorite dish. You can add meat to the pad Thai but it’s vegetarian as-is (we opted for chicken). We also got an order of shrimp fried rice which was pretty good. Our server was nice and we had a fun time.

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №142

We came by for dinner before a concert at the Roxy. The food didn't come at once and the last two dishes took about 40 minutes so we had to rush to eat it. The reasoning, by the pleasant waiter, was that it's typically a family style dinner so the dishes are spread out.. riiiggghht. The waiter was great and had good suggestions for the wine. Overall the food was like most Thai restaurants in LA. The atmosphere was loud with loud music. Price came out about $$$

Wow the food here was sooooo good, the flavors are really vibrant.
My family and I tried many items & were thrilled w/everything, thought we’d take home more leftovers but ate more than we expected!

1 star off for service; I’ve worked as a server for years so I usually don’t complain, but man the vibe was off. our server checked 3-4 times that we didn’t want to lower the spice, or order less food (for 4 people?). it’s worth having leftovers to try things & the food was far from crazy spicy anyway once we got it? I think it’s really rude to ask diners more than twice about anything, it comes off as condescending. everyone has their own style of customer service so I’ll give them some benefit of the doubt on that.

Diner Review №151

Been getting into Thai food lately and tried this place while in the WeHo area. It was great! I'm more into the curries so I tried both the PANAG short rib and the sweet potato MASSAMAN. Panag is what I have pictured along with the COCONUT RICE and FILET MIGNON SATAY. Ordered the Massaman the next day because I didn't want to miss out on trying it! Panag I asked for mild and it was still a little spicy for my tastes, but totally doable. For me, I'm normally pretty delicate on spice levels. They brought it out immediately so they must have it ready in the back. I did forget to ask for the Massaman mild and it was overall okay, still a bit spicy for me. I regretted it when I bit into a chili thinking it was a carrot - oops! Great flavors though and I'd definitely get both curries again. The filet satay I wasn't as impressed with, just from the cuts of meat having some fatty spots. Otherwise it was good flavors. I loveddd the coconut sticky rice. Delicious!

Diner Review №152

The wings are out of this world!

Diner Review №153

The waitress told us this was family style sharing for the dishes. The portions are crazy small.

Diner Review №154

My absolute favorite meal we had on a recent visit to LA! The panang neua beef short rib curry stole the show - ask for extra roti!! Everything else was perfect, too.

Diner Review №155

Diner Review №156

Mediocre food. Ordered the wings, short rib curry, papaya salad, and the pad see ew.

The wings were passable. Covered in a tangy Thai chili sauce. It felt pretty safe and needed more of a kick of heat or spice.

The short rib curry was the best of the things we tried. Very tender chunks of meat in a vibrant curry. Served with a flaky fried bread, this menu item was the highlight.

The papaya salad was uninteresting. Not much to speak of. The cherry tomato halves were a nice touch.

The pad see ew was very salty and saucy. Basic Thai staple that you could get anywhere.

5/10

Diner Review №157

The food here is the best Tai I have had in many years, strong flavors and Spicy. Even if you make a reservation you are going to wait 30 minutes, is very crowded, and a little slow (not because the staff is not doing their work, they are running trying to do their best, is because the restaurant doesn't have enough bartenders, waiters). For me, it doesn't matter if I have to wait, it's worth it because of the food. I recommend the crispy rice! Amazing! Also the tai margarita, delicious 😋

Diner Review №158

Really great food! Friendly servers, but portions were small and pretty dang expensive

Diner Review №159

Absolutely delicious Thai food! Things get Asian hot here, so we ordered it on the mild side. There was still enough of a kick to keep things interesting. I recommend…Everything! lol At least everything we tried: chx wings, coconut rice, sticky rice, massaman curry, papaya salad, filet mignon satay! MMMMM! Will be back. Starts getting crowded around 6:30! Get there early.

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

Overrated and overpriced and not really Thai street food. Extra hot spice and salt don't make food better when it otherwise has no flavor. (Way too much salt). Much better food in Hollywood at other, authentic Thai restaurants. Not this place, run by the offspring of the former Talesai restaurant owners. Question any genuine Thai restaurant on the Sunset Strip. Definitely volume over quality.

Diner Review №169

Good food.

Diner Review №170

Very awesome concept. Flavours were sensational. I had the fried pork belly and short rib curry with rice. Most Thai places usually serve their curry with rice, but Night + Market provides a delicious portion of roti. Would definitely return to try the bigger dishes to share.

Diner Review №171

Incredible food - the crispy whole fish and filet skewers were standouts. Emily our server was very helpful and accommodating of our large party. Will be back next time we are in LA!

Diner Review №172

It's the hip spot for thai food. Intended to look and feel like a real night market in Thailand (it does not). Patio dining is not currently open. The restaurant is noisy so not a good place for having a conversation or a romantic dinner. Lots of Christmas lights all about. They have a limited drinks menu. The food is so so, more for the scene, less about the food.

On the hunt for some yummers and read good things about this spot. Well, let me tell you. This place is da bomb. Fun and funky atmosphere- check. Great tunes you can groove to- check. Friendly, unpretentious, on-it staff- check. Epic Thai food- check. Delish cocktails and other bevies- check.

Nate at the bar is rad. I’m currently high off the papaya salad it’s so spicy, yet delicious. I don’t know what kind of black magic they do on the roti, but at this point, I don’t care. The short rib curry is to die for.
Do yourself a favor and hit up Night+Market.

Have not tasted the food, but it looks amazing, However, yesterday I went to pick up an order for doordash from there and as I was waiting, one of the ladies working there started to nag an employee in front of all the customers and said exactly this “ You're doing a horrible job on table 7” the employee had the saddest look on his face.. I understand that maybe that employee may have been doing a bad job but she could’ve professionally pulled him aside and told him that in private. I felt really awkward and sad just standing there listening to that happen.

Nice atmosphere, food, and service

Go for fried chicken sandwich and seriously excellent Thai food. They have a robust natural wine offering and full bar. WeHo is the OG location.

Good food but I've had Thai throughout SE Asia, as well as LA, and thismild was at least medium elsewhere. When I asked the waiter if this was indeed a mild order, he announced proudly that "we make our food very hot here" etc., etc. There was also a pinup in the bathroom apparently poking fun at someone who complained about the heat. So too macho on that; and yes, loud.

Bad customer service! The employees definitely need training! Walked in to pickup. No proper greeting, from the guy at the door counter, just "Are you picking up?" Then he says it'll be 10mins and I'll mark it ready in the app when ready. 20mins later I go back and he directs me to another area, where there's several bags sitting. A girl walks up, again, no greeting, just a "Name?" Of course the bag is sitting. I tell the girl, they said they were going to notify me when it was ready, and her snarky response was, "He got busy." No apology or anything!
