Thai food and natural wine
Just dined at Venice location for 1st time despite living in the ‘hood for several years now. Had dined earlier at Westside location during pandemic & enjoyed the food.
John, Zoe, Colleen & Bailey are the reasons for the 5-star scores for food & service. One less star for atmosphere because the usual energetic punk rock music was on the verge of inducing a migraine flare for me. But exemplary staff graciously responded to my request to silence the music!🙏🙏🙏
Food was tasty but at times a tad too salty ( concern for hubby who needs to watch his bp). Despite generally avoiding Thai food due to bad food poisoning memory from a local restaurant when he was a college kid, he’s willing to come back and dine here! Praise be, because the rest of the family enjoys delicious Thai fare! Hubby’s favorite was the blistered green beans with garlic chili sauce! I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered veg larb, garlic green beans, creamy & refreshingly tart chicken soup ( khao soi gai),pork toro ( belly) with jaew sauce, and especially enjoyed the sweet pickled radish bits flavoring the yummy tofu pad Thai!
We will happily return with Thai- food loving son in tow!
It's a vibe. The place is really nice. You have to order everything from the beginning so you can share. I only wish they had more drinking options because they only have wine and one kind of beer. The wings are bomb but I had better pad Thai. You definitely go to this place for the vibe not for the food.
Been coming here for years, always loved the big bold flavors of the food. Tonight, our two entrees, the tom khar gai hot pot and a fried fish special, were both so incredibly salty that they were difficult to eat. Would have tried to talk to our server about it but she was very unwelcoming and aloof, and seemed to avoid our table as much as humanly possible. We were there early (it was not busy).
Night Market has been a Los Angeles restaurant staple for me, but after this experience I feel like I need to hang it up for a while. Too expensive for this big of a fumble.
We had a very enjoyable dinner here. Wanted to branch out from our usual thai. We got Panang curry, pad see ew with chicken, and the garlic green beans. Everything was yummy and delicious. We started off with sticky rice, but moved to the jasmine as the sticky rice was very hard and dense. We couldn't even cut it with a fork. We’re guessing they make it ahead of time and just let it sit out. I would not recommend. The beef in the Panang were small tender bites and perfect. The roti served alongside, while appreciated, was waaaay too greasy. Great list of natural wines and excellent service. Food came out fast and hot. Will go back and try something else as I missed their larb.
Cozy, hip Thai spot in Venice. Made a reservation for 5 via Resy beforehand; note that they require the entire party to arrive before they seat you. There is a small standing area where you can order a drink while waiting for your friends who’ll inevitably be late because it’s LA and parking along Washington can be competitive. Credit cards accepted. Stalled bathrooms available in the back. Indoor dine-in only (no outdoor options).
Food-wise, family style is the best so you can try more things. The papaya salad was refreshing and the sweet potato massaman curry was the unexpected star of the show. They do have vegan and vegetarian options. The pad see ew was okay, and can be made vegetarian by ordering crispy tofu. The crispy rice salad was really sour but I did like the texture. The party wings were delicious and were my favorite dish. You order rice for an additional cost, and I particularly liked the coconut rice. The sticky rice was only okay. Tables are really close together and it’s a small place, but there were a couple of big groups celebrating birthdays in there. Overall, it’s a good spot to take an out of town friend or when you want some Thai food in a cool ambiance.
This place used to be great, but it has declined precipitously. The crispy rice salad was inedibly salty and the mild version was incredibly spicy burned our mouths and set us into a near panic. The server seemed indifferent, didnt offer to have the dish remade for us, and charged us for the dish though we barely ate any of it. We had three different equally harried people serving us haphazardly. The pad see yu was slimy with a sort of flavorless gravy and almost no meat at all. The mango sticky rice was so underripe that we chased the mango around the plate unable to cut it until finally a piece landed in someones lap and we all gave up. Will never go back. What a shame
My "world famous" chicken sandwich was ice cold in the middle. I've been here three or four times and each time I questioned why I went. There are significantly better options in the area these days.
Small place. Great food. Just be aware that they do a lot of take out so sometimes dishes take awhile but it's worth it. Parking on the street is not too bad.
I ordered online and the wait time at the restaurant it’s crazy I stayed there 45 min After the app said the order was ready.
It’s ridiculous to wait so long time for an order online to pick up!! I never order here anymore
Best Thai food on the west side
My "world famous" chicken sandwich was ice cold in the middle. I've been here three or four times and each time I questioned why I went. There are significantly better options in the area these days.
The food is incredibly salty and everything is fried. There is not a single healthy item on the menu. Really a disgusting dining experience overall. Inedible.

Pickup can take up to 2-3 hours even if it says an hour. It happens every time. Pretty big waste of time
Pretty cool experience ! This place is BYOB with a cork fee of 30 bucks fyi. However they do serve plenty of wines ! The cheapest bottle we saw was for 58 bucks. The food it's self is good , portions were huge! The chicken thighs can feed 2 people easy. The pork neck was the smallest portion. If there's a pepper next to an item it's really spicy. I loveeeee spice but this is next level. You have been warned! I went with my partner and we ordered 4 items off the menu , think it was too much food. If I were to do it again I would have just ordered 3items between the 2 off us! .
Amazing, authentic Thai food. Highly recommend the pad thai, fried rice, panang curry, and som tum. Flavors are perfect. Love the vibe here as well.
My god this place was incredible!!! My favorite Thai spot so far in LA if u can believe it!!
We got the party wings, shrimp fried rice, Penang curry, fried chicken sandwich it was all incredible. They even threw in a few extra wings as a gift!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Didn't really get it. food was barely average and it felt like eating at a club.
Go to Celadon if you want good thai without the cheesy loud music and big price.
Every plate was really good. If you saw the inside and were unsure, the food will justify their decorations.
I am utterly appalled by the treatment my disabled, pregnant sister and I received at Night + Market. Despite her clear physical challenges, the staff REFUSED to accommodate her, making us wait over 40 minutes without offering any assistance or seating. When we finally raised the issue, the staff DISRESPECTFULLY claimed that pregnancy and disability are not valid reasons for accommodation, which is not only insulting but also discriminatory. In California, there are clear laws protecting individuals like my sister, and this restaurant showed a complete lack of understanding and compassion. Their behavior was not just unprofessional—it was an outright violation of basic human decency and legal rights. I urge everyone to think twice before supporting a business that treats people with such disregard, especially the disabled.
Food was delicious, portions not bad, music was TOO LOUD!! we had to scream at each other, other tables were too...what was the worst though was...
...there was this one curly hair lady who was extremely rude to us at the end, we were having a good time but she used a VERY rude tone to kick us out since there were other people waiting. It is fine to tell us people were waiting (we weren't even there for that long, and we would have left if you just said it once), but using a aggressive tone out of the blue left a very bitter taste to our meal, would not recommend this place.
Amazing food, ambiance, and friendly service. Always order two singhas when you walk in.
Great buzzy atmosphere and cosy seating. Food is fantastic quality - tasty with good, friendly service. Recommend the orange chicken! arrived at 8pm and stayed until close
Delicious and memorable meal! Many of the dishes here are spicy and most people will want to order those mild. Even mild is spicy so be prepared. It’s worth it!
Not sure I went to the same place. It wasn't anything special - food was average and a bit bland. The Fried crab mousse entree was particularly bad.
Wine and service was not great, but on balance the atmosphere is pretty cool, good location, good music.
Overall, will never come here again but if you're on a budget, it's not a bad choice either.
Just dined at Venice location for 1st time despite living in the ‘hood for several years now. Had dined earlier at Westside location during pandemic & enjoyed the food.

Excellent meal. No misses food wise. Had the orange chicken, wings, shrimp friend rice, chicken pad Thai, massaman curry, and five spice pork. The wings are out of this world. Best pad Thai I’ve ever had. God bless.
S.A.H.M. – Spicy As Hell, Man! This place is a favorite spot, but come ready. Medium is HOT. They tell you that, but I’m telling you too. The Larb? Amazing. The eggplant dish is one of my favorites as well, and their drink selection is reason enough to visit.
Find street parking, expect a wait on a weekend, and bring a friend.
Vibe: loud and dim. Food: hot, salty and sweet, heavy flavors. Not health food for sure, but it goes down with the bubbles nicely.
shoutout to the love colleen for being such a spirited, wonderful waitress !! she made our night & we can't wait to go back and visit her again ! also, the papaya salad is slapping & pro tip, you can ask for it super mild ! <3
Surprisingly good Thai food considering that there didn't seem to be a single Thai person among the staff.
Waited too long for the crispy fish, it's a challenge to time all the dishes right, but such a necessary skill.
This place cranks, so make sure you call ahead.
I’ve waited 45 mins (and counting) over the time quoted for takeout on a Sunday night.
Ordered the Grapow Crunchwrap Supreme and it was soggy, oily and not crunchy at all. Ended up throwing it away and being disappointed as it was my first time trying Night Market in Venice. Wish it lived up to the hype.
Loved the crispy rice salad and wings. The wine special was really fun too
Unreal.
New favorite spot. Incredible service and amazing food. Staff went above and beyond for making us wait a bit longer to be seated. Very impressed and would highly recommend!
The Crunchwrap was out of this world! Loaded with flavor and a delight to eat.
Great date spot… though their warnings for spice are spot on… and actually sometimes don’t indicate how spicy they will be… our server shared that mild is too spicy for many and she was right.. the pad Thai was the best shrimp pad Thai I’ve ever had… highly impressed and we only got two dishes
Everything about this place is a 5 star affair The waitstaff could not be nicer! We had a reservation at 5 o'clock for four. The place was empty seated right away. But it was packed by the time we left at 7. And after experiencing the food I can understand why. It is simply delicious. Thai food that I have never experienced. A steak curry, a sweet potato curry Both come with a wonderful flaky pastry for dipping. Fried chicken thighs with 2 dipping sauces. Marinated and roasted pork/pig on a wonderful salad. Add a spicy mango ice cream dessert thing. The entire meal was scrumptious. And like I said, the wait staff put it totally over the top.
Minus the food alone (decent Pad Thai w/ Shrimp which I'm giving a 3.5-4), this review is for the service. Specifically the rude server last night. I went to pick up an order last night, and unbeknownst to me, received one of the most off-putting experiences in a while. I let the server know I was here for pick-up, in which he responded with a semi-condescending response to my initial question of where to go for pickup, considering I've never been. I brushed that off. The problem is that I gave him my name, he "went to get the order" and never came back. And by never coming back, I mean he proceeded to serve other tables while leaving me standing there for 5 minutes waiting on my order (which was ready) before an actual nice, accommodating server came over to retrieve it for me. The previous guy, didn't as so much look in my direction as if I didn't exist. BEYOND RUDE and frankly disrespectful. I say all this to say, thank you to the server for getting my order for me. The food was decent, yes, but for sure will never be attending this location again based off of my experience alone. I'll try the Silverlake location. Thanks.
Parking on Grant Ave. Vandalism! Be careful.
Everything was 10/10. They don't make any modifications, not even for google reviews.
That how you know they're legit!
Let me know when a mayo-free crunch wrap gets on the menu.
The music was loud and people were yelling, making it difficult to have a conversation. Their menu is completely Americanized and not Thai.
I started out with some excellent unique orange wines, followed by equally excellent eggplant curry with roti and pad Thai. This place really shined with the service, with 4 different servers passing with their own recommendations and making sure I was taken care of. I was here solo on my first night exploring Venice after a breakup, and this place made my night.
Excellent curry and pad Thai - fun place the whole fam (kids 12-16) enjoyed!
They added some new items to the menu recently. Our go to is the sweet potato massaman, pad Thai, roti, rice, and some wine. Their new eggplant dish was fantastic.
Travels well for delivery!
Unbelievable experience. I’ll be thinking about the crispy rice larb every day until I get it again. The hot pot should not be skipped, unreal flavors with incredible depth. Pad kee mao was better than pad see ewe imo. If you’re looking for something basic, the orange chicken was fantastic as well. Great service too, Suzanne was great!
• Pastrami Pad Kee Mao & Panang En Neua — TRUST ME!!! Order these two thing and you’ll be blown away. I’ve had this place 15+ times unreal dishes.
Great authentic Thai food. Spicy and worth a visit if you like spicy thaifood.
If you’re craving Asian food on the west side, this place will definitely not disappoint. It gets really busy so try to make a reservation, but if not, you’ll definitely get seated accordingly. They don’t really have a lot, but you can definitely find street parking. I love spicy food but the mild is as far as I will go because they make it really spicy and its just uncomfortable to eat so I wouldn’t recommend it. I got the wings, hot pot, soup, crispy rice, and Pad see ew! Yummmmm
Delicious Thai food in an unfussy, fun environment. LOVED the tofu pad see ew, mango sticky rice, and massaman curry. My second favs were the crispy rice salad, green beans, and vegan larb. Only thing I wouldn’t order again was the chicken sandwich. Altogether loved it
Always a good time with spectacular food and wine.
Not a good spot for a date, everyone yells at each other over the tables so you can’t hear anything the waiting staff say, you can’t hear what your date is saying but you sure can hear exactly what Joe Shmo on the table next to you thinks about the current geo-political climate and who’s sleeping with who in his office.
There’s a distinct lack of local wines on the menu, maybe 3 or 4 maximum from CA. And the bottles are overpriced.
Food was tasty, they go a bit cheap on the protein with only 4 bits of beef in the curry and 6 shrimp on the pad Thai. Tasted great, and it’s easy to order too much because you want to try everything.
Waiting staff are fine, they seated us and said “have you been here before? We do things a little differently” then proceeded to describe exactly how any restaurant works. But they’re pretty cheerful and attentive.
Food was decent. They had a full cooler of beer and wouldn't let us have one. Other tables had beers. They wanted us to buy wine. Was extremely bizarre. Wouldn't give a reason. I rec. calling ahead and making sure they are willing to serve you beer if that is important to you.
Been dying to try this place and finally did. And it’s just ok. Lovely server though.
Food was good. However, the host at the front rudely asked me to wait when I asked for a table for two and said the second person is parking the car. It’s not like there are tables with one chair, it’s basic common sense to seat the person rather than having them awkwardly stand waiting.
A spot I never miss when visiting LA The food is delicious, the wine choice is inspiring and the atmosphere is lively and fun.
Music too loud.
Good:
sweet and spicy spring rolls $12 (special)
Music/lighting/general ambiance
Roasted chili oil
Fine:
Pad Thai- probably shouldn’t have ordered this, way more expensive and rather plain (made with too few ingredients) for the price point
Khao soi- the pickled mustard greens are a bit overpowering
Not-so-good:
Plastic animal print table cloths
Plastic plates and cups
Too many vegetarian/tofu curries, noodles, etc;would like option to switch out to beef or chicken
Some non-natural wines, the mushroom lite red is not good
Crispy rice salad (not pictured) and fried fish were the BEST. Salad especially. Its not really a salad in the health way lol the rice was the base. I would go back for the crispy rice salad!!
Fried baby octopus was good too! Khao soi was disappointing and blander than expected.
Super hip, the waitresses are super nice and funny, the place blasts great music and the food is amazing!!
If you have an allergy I recommend not coming here as they are not able to accommodate. It just felt important to write because of how dangerous this was. My friend has a soy allergy and so we called ahead of our reservation to ask if night and market would be able to accommodate and were assured they could. We normally don’t even call to check, but given the restaurant’s no substitutions policy we wanted to be safe. Before ordering, we told our waitress about the soy allergy and she said she would let the kitchen know and they could make all the dishes our party ordered without soy. However, she then brought out 2 dishes with clearly brown sauces that tasted like soy to the rest of us (the green beans and pad see ew). Because the green beans said they had soy on the menu and they tasted like they did, we double checked and after checking with the chef she let us know the kitchen FORGOT. Because of this miscommunication, a manager came over to check on the table and we asked if she could talk my friend through options on the menu that did not have soy, and she immediately offered the green beans (which you’ll note, have soy). While of course it’s fine to make mistakes, because this was a health issue my friend decided not to risk it and bet that they were right on the third try. The other upsetting aspect of the experience though was the reaction from the manager. My allergic friend asked her only for a plain rice (the only thing she would have felt comfortable eating) but they never brought it. They did attempt to get her to eat other things but at that point she just felt too nervous. Once it became clear she would not eat there, it seemed like they were mad at us — it was so weird. They gave us our check without asking if we wanted dessert and without an apology or compensating for our poor experience. My very brave other friend asked if they could comp something since we thought we would be eating for 6 but only 5 of us ate (we had at least half of 3 of our dishes left). The manager said no because it “looked like the rest of us cleared our plates” and they tried to get our allergy-affected friend to eat. After a little pushback since we checked multiple times and they were mistaken multiple times, they took one dish off our check (but still no apology). It was a crazy experience honestly, just no remorse for making mistakes with a persons allergy at all even though that’s super dangerous — which is an experience I have never had. Thank god we checked as much as we did and she didn’t assume the restaurant knew how to accommodate, which restaurants almost always do.
Vegan options weren’t plentiful but absolutely fantastic. Great vibe, very good service. Come around 5pm on Sunday for a chill early dinner.
Just as good as the other two Night + Markets. Arguably better. Two thumbs way up.
Was super excited to come here because the Vegas one is amazing!! But unfortunately, unlike Vegas, there are no vegan options for entrees. Just two salads. Bummer! Hoping you guys can start offering some veggie options 🙏🏻
Delicious, but it's the 2nd time they have given me the wrong item in a pick-up order. I got two Pad-Thai, and no curry! It took so long to be ready, that I'm not going back.
The food is excellent, the wait staff's superb; the only problem we had is the music. There's no reason to have music as loud as they do. When I have dinner with friends, I don't want to yell at the person next to me so they can hear me.would I go back; only to take out food.
Amazing restaurant in Venice! The decoration is fun and the food delicious!
Food was average - would avoid the pad Thai. I also question the ethics of this restaurant - their tip calculation is based on the post tax amount when it should be the pre tax amount.
Eating here is an almost religious experience. Absolutely amazing. The pad kee mao melts in your mouth. It’s busy, it’s loud, it’s fun. The only thing we had that wasn’t over to top was the larb which was a bit dry.
Great Thai food. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. Very kind waiters too.
Es un lugar muy bonito
Vegan larb and short rib curry with roti were on another level. The wine list is perfect with the spice which is assertive in the best way
We had a very enjoyable dinner here.
Their panang curry keeps me up at night it’s so good. The coconut rice, wings, and sweet potato curry are all great too you can’t go wrong with most of the menu
Such great food. I recommended making a reservation as this place gets busy!
Wings and beef curry were amazing!
I really wanted to like this place. A colleague at USC recommended it to me. I went on a Saturday night and was able to get a table relatively quickly. Despite not having a reservation. I was not familiar with some of the dishes on the menu, which to me was enticing. Usually you go to a Thai place and see the usual suspects: Larb, penang, Tom Kha Kai. So, I ordered two dishes I had not tried before. I wanted to have hot water with lemon to drink with my meal, but my server told me that I would not be able to order that. I do not do Thai Iced Tea- that could send me into a diabetic coma. So I ended up drinking water, and tap water at that I think. I ordered a salad and a soup. The soup was delicious and inventive. The salad I can not put into words, and only took one or two forkfuls before abandoning it. The server was decent, but slow to come to the table and just seemed utterly indifferent to me and the rest of the world around her. I do not expect to be treated like royalty at a place like this, but as least I feel I should be responded to like I have a pulse....
food is good, the service was awful. One of the worst servers we've ever had. Particularly odd to see their staff drinking before service ended.
Music so loud I couldn’t hear. Service sucked. Food was overpriced and nothing special. Asked for mild larb and got something inedible.
Positives: lively yet relaxed atmosphere with neat lighting and aquariums, very quick service.
Neutral: I ordered the pad Thai. Although it didn't particularly exceed expectations, it was well made and I enjoyed it.
Room for improvement: I wasn't seated when I asked for a table for two despite showing up to a practically empty restaurant. The menu appears to be very limited after post-lockdown reopening. No modifications allowed; not the best spot for selective diners.
Rude manager, server
Amazing menu, amazing staff, a great hidden gem, but it's small and almost always packed to the gills. If you're used to elbow-to-elbow NYC dining then you'll get right along here. I still loved it, but gotta be in the right headspace to deal with the crowds!
My lady loves this place and I love the place also
Excellent Thai food. Best around and reasonable prices.
Incredibly tasty way to spend an evening. They really aren’t kidding about the spice levels but weirdly you get used to it as the meal goes on. Will definitely be back!
Great area. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great setting (although a little overpriced). Unfortunately I was subjected to the worst pad Thai I've ever had in my life. It tasted like onion soup spaghetti. Attached below is a picture of the soupy "chicken pad Thai". If you go here stay away from noodle dishes. My friends said their food was fine.
Excellent
Not sure what the hype is here, extremely crowded and loud. Everything felt just slightly above good. The fried chicken is crispy but might be missing some spices. The papaya salad was great! The fried fish was pretty crispy and tender although doused with sweet Thai chili sauce. The pad see ew gai with tender chicken had noodles that were oddly cut into small pieces. The mango sweet rice, pretty sweet in a good way
The food is really excellent! The pad see ew and braised pork curry were both standouts, and the staff was extremely friendly. Only complaints were that the music was a bit too loud, and the food came out in a bit of an unorganized manner (which they explain before hand, so, fair enough). Also, the rice sides are quite small compared to most places!
The service was great. The mango accompanying coconut rice was divine. The pad Thai was underflavored.
sweet potato massaman is best curry dish i’ve ever had anywhere in the world
Loved this spot. Service is quick and flavors of each bite is Undescribable. Hospitality is also on point. Informed staff about a shellfish allergy, and they provided a whole new dish at no cost w/o me asking. This kind of service put them over the edge.
Get the salad, drunken noodle and make sure to get all things “mild” bc the spicy is HAWT.
Wish they can bring the old menu back though.
There are a lot of great Thai restaurants in Los Angeles but this one is my favorite. The food is top notch and the menu has a range of familiar classics along with many dishes I’d never encountered before. However the atmosphere is what separates this place for me. Really interesting wine list and great music with friendly and funny staff. It’s like being at a laid back party catered by an incredible Thai chef.
Best Thai in LA. Get the Curry & Roti
Ordered the Pad See Ew and about an hour later came down with the worst food poisoning of my life. It’s almost 24 hours later and I still can’t even keep water down.
I fancy myself a Thai food aficionado, we enjoyed 5 or 6 dished all were phenomenal, I love spicy food, didn’t have to doctor it one bit and the heat was on point, Simply at the top of the class, don’t miss out
Cozy, hip Thai spot in Venice.
It's a vibe. The place is really nice. You have to order everything from the beginning so you can share. I only wish they had more drinking options because they only have wine and one kind of beer. The wings are bomb but I had better pad Thai. You definitely go to this place for the vibe not for the food.
I rarely write reviews and generally believe in being forgiving to restaurants given what they’ve been through with Covid…but we were really disappointed with Night Market. The food is tasty (but spicy!), so the three stars are for the team in the kitchen for consistently pushing out great food quickly.
However the service and experience were awful. I made a 9:30 pm reservation, which wasn’t even the latest reservation available on Resy. Immediately after we sat down, we were told it was last call for the kitchen and had to make up our mind right away. Then the server brought the check when she brought our food to the table. Not even 50 minutes after we sat down and were still eating, they turned up the music to full blast to force people to leave the restaurant. If you’re not going to let people enjoy a full meal at that hour, don’t offer reservations that late! Very disappointing and unprofessional. Was a waste of a date night out.
The food here is next level! I struggle to find good thai on the west side since moving here from NYC 6 years ago. The thai food in NYC is fire and I was disappointed moving out here. Night + Market is a gosh darn GEM. They do it spicy too! They say it's a wine bar but I don't drink and one time the wait gave me a little attitude about not ordering wine but ce la vie I'm here to chow thai now! Love this spot.
Absolutely terrible over the phone customer service, when asking to help update our mobile order and add an item, they answered rudely and put us on hold...16min later they finally answered and said they could not process a payment over the phone and we could not cancel our order. There was absolutely zero attempt at being courteous or understanding and friendly about the situation. Poor customer service and will never consider them as an option again.
Food is spicy and altho service was great - it felt a little too packed for comfort in the vid era
Food across the board was too spicy.
even the dishes we asked ahead and told they were mildly spicy, were inedible for us.
Probably works for people who can stand very spicy food. unfriendly service.
sierra was the best server i ever met. i usually attend the weho location, but in saturday i was in venice with my grandma and she was simply a superstar angel..i got a the gai tod (which i had never tried before but sierra told me to), and i was simply astounded..its now my favorite dish, as well as sierra, my favorite server. i wish she worked at the weho location so i could have my favorite dish served by my favorite server weekly without having to make the long commute to venice.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had, hands down. Will definitely come back here often.
The best Thai I’ve ever had. I live in Boston and I think I’ll plan to return to LA sooner just to return to this restaurant. We all had great dishes. No complaints at all. The service was great too… read some bad reviews about the service so maybe we were lucky.
We had the pad Thai, pad see ew, wings, sweet potato massaman, and the special curry dish (I forget the name of it). Again, everything was perfect. With those dishes and a bottle of wine it was about $180 with tip.
Spicy, bold and definitely not subtle.
The rice salad and papaya salad are must orders. Food is delicious and thrilling. Wine selection is fun and unexpected. If you are dining with spicy sensitive folks.. beware.
If you are game, you are in for a fun ride!!
Solid focused and simple menu. Very tasty with good service and food size portions. Recommend
The best fried chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Also, be sure to try the papaya salad!
Some of the most flavorful food and excellent service. Everyone was attentive and the spice level was spot on from the instruction, "Not Thai spicy but also not white spicy" 😂
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The sweet potato massaman, crispy rice salad, and the tom khar gai hot pot were unbelievable! Sharing plates made for a great experience. Service was timely and the staff were very hospitable.
Ok, kinda fun, overhyped and the food is 7/10. Takes a long time to get seated
Not worth waiting 45 mins for pickup or the extra 30 mins at the resto for a backed up kitchen. Respect to the folks making the grub, but Host staff was rude and gave wildly inaccurate information on phone and at pickup. Tip the kitchen.
Might be my new favorite N+M location. Silverlake is a little small for me, and the weho location is so LOUD inside….this place has neither issue! And the food was as incredible as ever of course.
Thai food with an local twist ... Salami pad thai, say what?! Good vibes too
Great food, excellent atmosphere.
The hot pot dish is amazing, but why does LA like those gross organic wines?
I’m not here to tell you what you did right I’m here to tell you what you did wrong - bc you did a whole lot of things right. Exquisite food, fast and friendly service, a little salty but otherwise perfect. Highly recommend.
One of THE best Thai restraurantThe sauced chicken wings are must try.
Fantastically flavorful dishes, big servings, loud but colorful atmosphere.
One of my favorite Thai places and favorite restaurants in LA in general. Have been twice in person and gotten take out once. Every dish I’ve tried is good! My spice tolerance is very low but I power through anyway because the flavor is just so good. Favorite dishes include the sweet potato massaman, crispy rice salad, and hot pot, but you really can’t go wrong. They’re also very accommodating for peanut allergies.
Me and my friends had a reservation. I arrived on time but my friends were a few minutes behind. I checked in with the host but they wouldn't allow me to sit down until all my friends arrived. I was hungry and wanted to sit down and order some appetizers while I was waiting but they wouldn't let me. When my friends arrived we finally sat down. Ambience is ok, nice colorful walls, table are tight next to each other so not a lot of privacy. Background music was loud. Menu is somewhat limited. We ordered a few dishes and I was honestly not impressed. We ordered a curry which was so salty we actually had to send it back to the kitchen. Pad Thai was ok, again with one flavor being more prominent than others. Had the chicken sandwich and that one was good. Had 2 more dishes but again, nothing to write home. I have had way better thai restaurants that I definitely won't be coming back here. Parking is hard to find, menu is limited, service is not great.
One of the best Thai foods I had outside of Thailand. Flavor was spot on.
Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar de los mejores vinos 🥂
Delicious, hearty Thai food with big portions for the price
The crispy rice salad is spicy and it hurts your face. But then you wash it down with banging Pinot from Australia and the earth is restored to balance. You may never eat Thai without natty wine again...
Khao soi jay may be the tastiest thing I’ve eaten during quarantine! Larb tofu was a bit overwhelmed by red and green onion though and my sticky rice was really tough
I ordered take-out from this restaurant and there was no cutlery! And the pad see ew is awful. The noodles is sticky, the tofu is tasteless and the chicken is fishy. This is my first meal in Los Angeles. I haven't eaten in a day. I'm so hungry and I feel worse after eating it with hands!
