But this was NOT Cha'am. 🤣 Basically I got ONE slice of carne asada! 🤣🤣🤣 Don't get me wrong it was tasty, but not worth $29.99. We will go back again, but won't order a ribeye. It was a Friday when we went and they had Karaoke. The customers had fun and the atmosphere was nice. Sorry Bangkok Island, I felt I was a victim of a bait and switch. This place can never make up its mind where they are restaurant or a bar. They have music most of the time. And you cannot have a conversation over the music. Last night I wanted to pay with my debit card and they wanted to charge me 4% to use it. Yes, credit card companies charge 4% to use credit cards and the merchant absorbs those costs.
They are doing a renovation and it looks like some fly-by-night contractor is doing the work.
Although the food is okay, you will not have a good experience here.

Food just didn't have that much flavor. The Bangkok fried rice said it came with chicken and prawns but it was only chicken. Also not much flavor. The pad Thai was swimming in a watery sauce with no flavor and no peanuts on it.

Nice place to have dinner and do some karaoke..I would recommend to the actual place to put pictures on their physical menu to make orders be easier to choose.

I ordered two meals on Uber eats. The spicy chicken with green beans, had absolutely no flavor and no spice at all. The grilled chicken with rice had a red sauce which I put on the chicken and rice; I literally almost threw up because it tasted like vomit. I actually thought maybe someone vomited in it. It was horrible. I will not be ordering again. I ended up throwing both meals away.

We ordered take out and it was terrible! I’ve been craving pad Thai for a while and was so disappointed. It had an off taste I couldn’t place. The chicken was even worse. Grey, dark brown, chewy. Not edible. The only decent food item was the egg rolls. Good thing we have 3 dogs so it didn’t completely go to waste. The dogs got a $60 dinner tonight!

The place was empty for lunch. She asked me if I wanted the lunch special or just the entre. Easily she could have upselled me...but she met my need. I appreciate that very much.
I had the spicy eggplant. And the roti and ice cream for dessert. It was super good 👍. I could have used a little less salt on the dish but omg that Roti and ice cream was so damn good! Check em out!

My Fiancé and I first time here. She had the Spicy Eggplant and I had the Chicked Cashew. Had to add Pinnaple to the Chicken Cashew. We also had Fresh Rolls,Thai Egg Rolls and Potstickers. Very good. Will definitely come again.

Pad Thai and yellow curry was pretty good, enough food for three adults. Phone order topped with great customer service. Reasonably priced. Empty 8:30pm onwards—support local businesses !

First of all there was an elderly guy probably in his late 50s he sneezed with no covering his mouth, I ordered some type chicken noodle soup and grilled chicken and both has no flavor what's so over. Specially the soup,the instant noodles 🍜 from gas station has better flavor.

I was going to give Bangkok Island Thai Fusion 3 stars for being middle of the road, but after leaving the restaurant once we'd been there about 1.25 hours we both got sick.
The service was slow but friendly. The food was ok tasting, not terrible but also nothing to rave about. We got the fried egg rolls, which I suspect were what made us sick, and those were pretty bad tasting. Not much filling and definitely not worth $10.99. We also got Pad Thai and an eggplant dish.
There was pretty loud mid to late 90s music with an attempt by a KJ to get karaoke going while we were there for dinner. I could see karaoke being fun there, but I wouldn't go for the food again.

I visited on a very hot day and love the cold Thai iced tea. I had the chicken larb salad, delicious and refreshing. I love this place!

Service friendly and prompt. However my papaya salad was tasteless and soggy, a large lump of papaya shavings on top of a bed of cheap lettuce with a few low quality green beans and mouth puckering tomatoes mixed in. Unlike most Thai restaurants there were very few options for vegans or vegetarians. Would not return.

Last night I ordered to go honey duck,sticky rice and mango sticky rice the sticky rice it’s too hard it supposed soft with mango but it’s hard .☹️we gave good tips im not coming back this restaurant..

My Sister and I visited this place last night. Under new ownership . I had calamari and it was nasty! It was chewy and flavorless! I told the waitress to take it back , and was informed I would not get my money back nor was I asked if I wanted anything else. I also ordered prawn rolls which were alright. We ordered red wine and it was terribly warm! Mt sister had chicken curry which she threw up in the parking lot! $55 WASTED!! WILL NOT BE BACK! !! Gave 2 stars for music.

They know how to make a dish spicy! Its Thai food, you can't go wrong! They had karaoke too.

The drunken noodles are EXCEPTIONAL. We also had the peanut sauce with chicken over spinach and veggies. It was also very good. The yellow curry was also good..if one remembers that Thai curry is VERY DIFFERENT than Indian curry. One member of our party was expecting something more Indian style and was disappointed it had a more subtle flavor and less of a punch. I enjoyed the whole meal

There's not any thai food places in the area, in fact i believe they are the only one on that side of the city. Unless you're in the area and are in a very hangry mood, I recommend going somewhere where they actually know how to season the food correctly. Most is either over salted or very bland. I'd just rather go over the hill to Fairfield. More options and better food.

$30 down the drain I got the potstickers and the Tom Yum soup and it taste bad the soup is so sweet and it supposed to be sour and hot and the potstickers are stale

Ordered the papaya salad expecting a refreshing lunch, and was deeply let down by the overly salted and vinegary dish. The to go bag was drenched with liquid, no utensils or napkins.The presentation was awful, just a clump of papaya shavings with cheap green beans.The only plus side was the portion , a giant clump of salty of vinegar . Would not recommend.

All the noodle dishes are good. Except the beef dish was really tough. They did not offer to replace or be taken off the bill. Even though my associate did not end up eating that dish. There are 7 of us and spent $400 for lunch. Service was at par.

Big foodie here. Establishment was dirty. Flies everywhere. Tom Yum soup was decent. Husband got the chicken entree, and it tasted like someone was trying to fry chicken for the first time. Dry, hard and cartilage pieces throughout. Definitely not worth the money. Probably the worst experience I’ve had dining out.

Horrible. Food made me sick. Threw up once I got home. There were flies all over the place. Served their water on dirty red solo cups. There was dirt in the water. And no AC, table was sticky and peeling.

Long wait need more help inside. Ordered inline and still had to wait 20 moon when I got there after waiting 30 min to go there

Excellent pad thai and yellow curry! I live in pinole but I can't find any Thai food this good in my neighborhood. It's worth the trip. I was able to go in person before the pandemic and they had live music during lunch. Nice ambiance in person. Consistently delicious this year when I've gotten it to go.

Vegetables were obviously frozen and most likely purchased at the dollar store, and they just threw some sauce over this!Not worth the 11$ price per entree!Despite being the only customers we had to routinely hunt down servers! I’ll stick to Benicia or AC for Thai!

Food was great. The entertainer is so so. He lowers the mic volume, echo and speaker when a singer other than him sings to the point that their voice is barely heard.

Great food, but on hot days go early or late because the air conditioning is weak. I have never been disappointed with the food. The Pad Thai is excellent. The seafood is delicious as well!

This is a great Thai restaurant. Service is good and food was served promptly. Their red curry was excellent as well as the calamari for appetizer. We always dropped in here on a way back from SF for some tasty Thai food. Used to be called Cha Am.

Not as good as the other restaurant that was here previously (also a Thai food place) but still respectable.

The Thai milk iced tea is absolutely delicious. The service however is not quite as good. I called to get a to go order at 9:15 and the girl told me they don't take to go orders after 9:00. So i drove there, arrived at 9:33 and she tells me the kitchen is closed even though the sign on the window says 10:00. Ill update this post with food quality if I ever go back.
