Decent food, good wine menu but no corkage policy

Diner Review №2

I cannot think of a better Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. We had the crudo, crispy garden rolls, massaman braised beef, panang curry, and the drunken noodles. The massaman braised beef and crudo were the stars, but everything was delicious. I cannot wait to go back.

A good Thai restaurant with food on the fancier end of the spectrum. The menu changes regularly and they have a large wine selection. The staff was very attentive and always came by to refill glasses and clear plates. It's pretty crowded inside, but the service ran smoothly. I would recommend Anajak for a date night or special occasion, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice for Thai comfort food. Definitely worth checking out when you have the opportunity.

Diner Review №6

Service was incredible and so was the food. Definitely will be going back. The eggplant curry was AMAZING

Diner Review №7

Impeccable service and the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. Perfect atmosphere, the place was buzzing with happy people.

I’ve been waiting to go to this restaurant for a longggg time especially with all the great reviews it gets.

It’s changed over the years as they used to do take out and now they don’t. I believe they used to also do walk ins but now it’s rare. I was driving by on a Friday night and stopped to see if they had in walk ins. They said they were fully booked and typically booked a month or two out. The guy at the front offered us a reservation for the next night tho so thank you!!

We came back the next night at 8:15 pm. Parked in a public lot down the street. Parking is tough in this area but not impossible. It was pretty cold out and the front stand didn’t have its heater on but we were sat within maybe 10 mins or so. We were a little early.

Sooo glad the tables outside had a blanket. Although it was only one lol. I was hoping for inside but didn’t specifically ask for it. The alleyway has plastic foldable chairs and is narrow but not unpleasant. The heater and blankets helped a bit but I was still cold.

I knew this place was known for their wine menu but WOWWWW it was soooo extensive. Decently pricey and most are sold by the bottle. My bf and I got two wines by the glass. The wine guy or sommelier didn’t come to our table which was unfortunate (I saw him go to most of the other ones).

We weren’t crazy hungry but I will come much hungrier next time and with a group. We got the Southern Thai Fried Chicken and Pad Gaprao Beef & Fried Egg. Both were DELICIOUS! so good that I’m committed to learning how to make the pad gaprao at home. The sauces that came with the fried chicken were soooo yummy and the chicken was so perfectly crispy.

I will be back to order many many things. (and hopefully order a bottle of wine with a good recommendation)

Fabulous food a bit noisy

Exciting flavors, warm service, wines you won’t find elsewhere, and a busy, vibrant scene. Grilled cabbage not to be missed, really!

Diner Review №13

We went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t hard to find a parking. The waiter is attentive and friendly. Vibe is great for friend gathering but it’s a bit noisy. Fried chicken is really yummy! Grilled sea bream and Pad Siew with shrimps are also tasty. Papaya salad is very spicy if you are not used to hot flavor..

Diner Review №14

$50 because we cancelled our reservation too late even though there were plenty of reservations spots available. too bad we will never try the food, so cannot speak to that

Diner Review №15

I wish there was more food choices but everything was good. The experience was great. Excellent customer service.

Diner Review №17

Had an amazing time. Service was top notch!

Diner Review №18

This was the best Thai food I’ve had and lives up to the hype. The fried chicken was delicious as was the pad Thai and crab fried rice. IMO the masaman beef was the best dish. The portion sizes are ok and the prices are a bit high.

My criticism is in the seating. They have table set out in the sidewalk no enclosure. It was cold, noisy and uncomfortable. We felt they were taking advantage of their fame. The service was mixed we sat and waited for our order to be taken for a long time in spite of asking for a server many times.

I’m glad I tried it but I won’t be back.

Diner Review №19

The menu at Anajak Thai is a delightful mix of traditional Thai dishes and innovative creations.

Diner Review №20

I used to come here every week for taco Tuesday, but recently it has been tasting a little uninspiring. I love coming here because the food is delicious and tasted like passion, but now I feel like I could go get a better meal at another Thai spot, for a better price.
I hope the spark comes back because I truly do love coming here 🥲

Diner Review №21

We were there for the taco night. $275 for 3 people and we were served on paper plates with plastic cutlery in a little package. What a joke. Food was pretty plain, no wow dishes. It’s a pass from me.

Diner Review №22

My friend and I were really excited to try this place since it has been raved about. It think I wanted more from it then what was presented. We get sat outside, which honestly, they need to put more effort and design into it. It was folding tables and chairs with and a table cloth on it on the side of their building. They did have heaters though which I was happy about since it was a pretty cold night. We get the pork ribs(just ok), their Thai style fried chicken(really nothing special), short rib curry( this was actually really good) and the crab fried rice( this was pretty good.) I got a chance to go inside( to use the bathroom) it was cute inside! I think I might have had a better experience inside.

Diner Review №23

Wasn’t the best. This was our second time eating at Anajak. First time we had the fried chicken which was good. This time we wanted to try more of the menu. The issue is the menu is pretty difficult to know what you are ordering and in what portion it comes in. We tried the Pineapple ribs, drunken noodles, cauliflower and mushrooms, curry, and a bottle of wine. The ribs came out first, by themselves, and were dry and unappetizing. They sat on the table the rest of dinner. The noodles were similar to any fast casual Thai place. Veggies were okay but pretty bland. The curry was good though, we actually ate every bite of that. Overall the experience was nice, our severs were very friendly, and we enjoyed our time. The food was not on the same par level and due to that we will not be coming back.

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

Honestly this place was extremely average. I have seen the hype all over social media but it was simply ok. The portions were tiny and not packed with flavor, which is usually what you expect for a small plate. My friend is extremely allergic to peanuts. It was noted on my reservation and confirmed with our waiter before ordering. Peanuts came out twice in our food, once in the sauce and then the curry we were suggested to order was based fully in peanuts. May I add that no where on the menu do they state any allergies. We ordered fully based on recommendation. The staff didn’t seem to care or even act apologetic when we mentioned the errors and then just brought a different dish out. The only thing they did was comp the appetizer which was a $15 spring roll(had nothing to do with the food that was mistaken). Service could be better for such a big mistake that was made twice. If I hadn’t noticed the peanuts in the sauce and the peanuts in the curry, my friend would have been hospitalized tonight.

Diner Review №26

Anajak Thai is the ultimate showcasing of what capitalism can do to ruin something that was once wonderful. The food used to be magnificent and well priced. Now, the portions are stingy at best, the prices viciously inflated, and if we are being honest, the tables so close together that you end up dining with strangers in an inappropriately awkward and intimate setting. Places like Luv2EatThai and Jitlada are infinitely better in every single way other than their locations. I feel like Anajak That is a sad example of the Emperor’s New Clothes. Don’t waste your money. Go to a hole in the wall, where the dishes are authentic and plentiful, and the prices won’t bankrupt you whilst leaving you disappointed in flavor and quality.

Diner Review №27

Very fun and creative. Not authentic but pretty good.

Diner Review №28

lives up to the hype. be aware that if you sit inside it is very loud, but they have great music and the bustle of the kitchen gives a good vibe. menu highlights: fried chicken, grilled cabbage w garlic chutney, and kampachi crudo. their sticky rice is also amazing

Diner Review №29

Disappointing food to say the least. Service was fine. Much better options in LA for Thai.

Anajak Thai Cuisine started with a longer wait than expected of over an hour, but the experience quickly turned into something special. The owner personally welcomed us, ensuring my family of six was comfortable and well taken care of. His genuine warmth and support made us feel like valued guests, not just customers.

The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Each dish was crafted with such care that it left us wanting to explore the entire menu.

The combination of incredible food and heartfelt hospitality makes Anajak Thai Cuisine a standout. It’s a place where the atmosphere is as memorable as the dishes, and we can’t wait to return to try more!

Diner Review №32

The food was was amazing, every food that was brought up was extra ordinary. Wasi was name of our waiter, whom was very pleasant and patient
I highly recommend this restaurant

Diner Review №33

So amazing!! Everything was better then the last thing, the fried chicken with the caviar is beautiful the shrimp the noodles the steak even the wok fried vegetables were game changing, I want to eat here every day, also the staf were on point, our waiter was great and very helpful as well. I wish I had more thumbs so I could hold ten thumbs up for this restaurant!
I forgot to take pictures because I was too involved to stop.

Diner Review №34

Finally got to come here and it did not disappoint. It was funny to see how every single table got the fried chicken. Our waiter recommended we use the sauce from the prawns for our chicken and that was the exact right recommendation. That said, the drunken noodles were really special too. Not oily, with a ton of nuanced flavor that you don't usually get for that dish.

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

The menus are 3, 4 years old and need to be removed. Deceptive advertising. The current menu was very limited. The Thai Fried Chicken came with a tablespoons of dip. Hardly enough and the chicken was the worst quality. I had to remove 2 small bones. Very little meat just fried dough.
We will never return. Do your customers a favor and remove the deceptive 4 year old menus.

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

The least inspired $200 meal I’ve ever had it lacked any standout dishes. For a “Taco Tuesday” with limited taco options, it was disappointing. The “backyard feel” paper plates, wrapped plastic utensils, and uncomfortable slanted chairs added to the unpleasant experience. I can’t recommend this to anyone who values taste. It seems the chef forgot how they gained recognition and focused solely on profit. The $10 bottle of Aqua Panna was the only water option (possibly illegal).

Diner Review №39

Honestly so disappointed. Food was just ok. Fried chicken was amazing but everything else (drunken noodle, papaya salad, red prawn) was a miss. Not worth the money or the hype.

Diner Review №40

Highlights: Crudo of Japanese Kampachi; Fried chicken (pro tip: dip in the crudo sauce); pork ribs (the meat itself was okay but the rub is super good); Panang Curry with jasmine rice (incredible -- my favorite dish. Huge portion); Crispy garden rolls; pad thai

Good but wouldn't order again: Drunken noodles; Papaya Salad

Only complaint is they didn't have any desserts -- ran out of mango sticky rice :(

All the staff were wonderful to deal with, from the host, waitress, sommelier, etc. Service is top-notch (very attentive beverage refills, plate replacements, etc.).

Diner Review №41

If you’re on the hunt for authentic Thai cuisine that delivers an explosion of flavors, look no further than Anajak Thai. This charming eatery has quickly become a favorite for food enthusiasts, and it’s easy to see why.

Starting with the Crispy Garden Rolls, your taste buds are in for a treat. These rolls are perfectly fried to a golden crisp, encasing a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables that retain their crunch and flavor. Paired with a tangy dipping sauce, they serve as an ideal appetizer to kick-start your meal. Each bite is a delightful balance of texture and taste, leaving you craving more.

Next, the Pork Ribs with Pineapple Glaze steal the show. These melt-in-your-mouth ribs are coated in a luscious pineapple glaze that offers the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The meat is tender and falls off the bone, while the glaze adds a tropical flair that complements the richness of the pork beautifully. It's a dish that not only satisfies the palate but also leaves you reminiscing about its unique flavors long after the meal is over.

Finally, the Chicken Drunken Noodles are the ultimate comfort food. This stir-fried dish showcases wide rice noodles tossed with juicy chicken and an array of colorful veggies, all brought together by a smoky, spicy sauce that tantalizes the senses. The noodles are cooked to perfection, allowing them to soak up all the delicious flavors while still retaining a satisfying chew.

Overall, dining at Anajak Thai is a journey through vibrant flavors and delightful textures. The combination of amazing dishes like the crispy garden rolls, the succulent pork ribs, and the hearty drunken noodles makes it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality Thai cuisine. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, Anajak Thai promises an unforgettable culinary experience.

Diner Review №42

Dinner here was incredibly tasty. The dishes here are modern, thoughtful Thai dishes with authentic flavours. There is the perfect balance between the classics as well as the chefs own creations. It is hard to pick a favorite dish but you should not skip the crudo, scallops or friend chicken. Wish we had more room to try all of the other dishes. Service here was also incredibly attentive.

Diner Review №43

Food was excellent across the board. Service was prompt and attentive as well. Music was way too loud though and the restaurant was very cold inside. Bring a jacket or try to get a table outside for a better experience.

Diner Review №44

$42 for two unseasoned prawns. The server should have let us know it was 5 bites. The ambience was nice, but a little loud. The crudo and crab rice was incredible though. I'm not sure if I'd go back for that reason alone.

Diner Review №45

Well the rumors are true… this place is exceptional. This restaurant has the bones of a neighborhood Thai joint with upscale service and quality. They do Thai classics that are authentic but still elevated. The pad see ew was perfection with the right balance between sweet, salty, and smoky. A very simple dish that is hard to knock out of the park like this. The shrimp was succulent and charred. Wow…. I loved the pork ribs and the crudo as well. We drank the fish sauce with our spoons. And the seasonal Riesling was the perfect compliment. We snagged a 4:45 reservation around a week out and even though it was early it was well worth it. I don’t think I would wait longer for a later time slot. LA is full of great Thai restaurants that are more affordable and you don’t have to wait at, but this is definitely a very special meal.

Diner Review №49

Food still excellent after multiple visits over the last few years. Still way too loud and noisy. Tables close. Hard to get reservation, so plan ahead. Fried chicken still a winner as were spring rolls. Cute but minuscule veggie cup app which was tasty with good crunchy albeit a tad sweet shell, but frankly could have been just offered to the table... Not worth ordering. Massamam beef coated in nice sauce and flavor, and fried rice, a bit small, good flavor albeit not a lot of crunch. It was our anniversary, which they knew, so might have been a nice touch. Potions ample with leftovers to take home. Sommelier v helpful with excellent champagne suggestion. Other than making an effort to dampen the noise, keep it going Anajak Thai.

Diner Review №50

They BLAST music inside to a point you can’t hear the person next to you. The waiter has to yell for us to hear him. The food was okay not worth the price they charging.

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Been coming here for years and We come for a few things, Good wine and good ambiance. Micheal the Sommelier makes our experience unique and excellent every single time. Never a complaint on the wine front.

Our only complaint we consistently have with anajack is that we feel pushed out of the restaurant and forced to eat quickly because they bring out a lot of your food at once and don’t give any time to digest. I understand that they need to turn tables but when we order an appetizer of wings (3pcs) and have servers coming up to us when we have 2 pcs left asking to clear our table it doesn’t bode well for our comfort. Just would like more time to enjoy the food that they work hard to make.

Diner Review №53

Anajak Thai in Los Angeles is a gem for Thai food lovers! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great spot. I loved the Pad Thai and the flavorful Green Curry. If you're craving Thai, this place is a must-visit! Can't wait to return!

Diner Review №54

I revisited after a few year and had an amazing time. Great food and service. It was a really wonderful dinner

Diner Review №55

This place was phenomenal. By far the best Thai food I have ever had. Just perfection. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

This isn’t a fancy place. We were served on paper plates with plastic utensils and frankly loved it. The food speaks for itself. It doesn’t need any fluff on presentation. That’s a real flex most restaurants can’t even consider doing.

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

As local we always walked by this restaurant, every time we wanted to dine in it was fully booked.

We finally decided to make reservations on Resy.

The team is super hospitable, the food was all tasty. Family owned restaurants that take pride in their menu is always hidden gem.

Diner Review №58

Puts the flame in fire. Will be back!

Diner Review №59

Definitely worth the hype. Salads were very underrated the cucumber salad was incredible & the beef stew was a must. End with mango sticky rice! Cherry on top!

Diner Review №60

Pros:
- Knowledgeable and attentive service
- Fried chicken, crudo, cabbage and massaman brisket were tasty yet forgettable and a bit on the sweet side
- Best Riesling I’ve ever had

Cons:
- Music was too damn loud
- Dirty plates and glasses… my husband’s glass had floaters and a lil bug in it and my plate had little pieces of crusted garlic on it.
- The price was VERY high, even by LA standards
- The laab tot tasted like expensive lemon air freshener?? I love lemon in food but this was just weird.

Diner Review №61

So terrible!we don’t live the food in here!it is not good!it is not fresh!

Diner Review №62

This place is a trap with you seeing lines out the door and with highly rated reviews from so called food critics. I came here on recommendation from a friend and I left extremely disappointed. The restaurant has taken advantage of the shrink-flation economy to the nth degree. A plate of fried chicken that was super dry and hard without much flavor came out in less than 7 minutes, so we thought wow this can't really be freshly fried and we can taste that it was fried twice. The order of sea bass fish tacos only sound good on the menu until you see the portion size. I am not exaggerating when I say that the portion size of the taco was smaller than the width of my hand and I have below average size hands. They also do not provide any table service and expected you to tip. They told us bringing out your food counts as enough table service. I honestly think this place is a rip off and a scam. There are a lot better Thai restaurants in Los Angeles to try than this one!

Anajak Thai: A Flavorful Gem in LA

Anajak Thai has quickly become my go-to spot for authentic Thai cuisine in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with a 2000s music playlist that adds a nostalgic touch. But it's the food that truly steals the show.

From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors are bold, complex, and perfectly balanced. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or delicate noodle dishes, Anajak Thai has something to satisfy every palate.

If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend checking out Anajak Thai. You won't be disappointed!

Shout out to our server Wasi who made our experience enjoyable.

Diner Review №64

Absolutely amazing. Curry and the noodles.

Diner Review №65

Diner Review №66

Food was ok but not worth the hype. Ribs were overcooked. Chicken was good but pretty generic. Papaya salad was very good. Meatballs were over seasoned. Music was so loud we couldn't hear the server or each other. They turned the volume down but turned it up again after 5 minutes. Overall it's a good place if just considering a local Thai place, but does not live up to its reviews or pricing.

Diner Review №67

Horrible service and mediocre Hollywood style thai food

If you were hoping to enjoy a night out with good Thai food, just RUN!!! They’ll start clearing your still-full plates, just 1.5 hours after you’re seated. The staff will interrupt every minute, asking if you’re finished until the mood is completely killed. Once they’ve cleared everything, you’ll be handed the check with a reminder that they want your table ASAP. To top it off, the hostess will personally deliver you a cold, disdainful stare to send you off until you one block away from the restaurant, while bad-mouthing you to her coworkers.

What an unforgettable night, thanks to the overpriced and inauthentic Asian food, and special treatment from our one and only hostess! A genuine advice: if you want to improve turnover, how about serving your food faster and training your staff to have a better attitude and respect the customer?

Got back to my car after being 'kicked out', my 2 hr street meter is still not expired.... I went across the street for some tacos, best food of the night! Two stars for the location!

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

I really love Anajak. I go often. The food is incredible, the ingredients are top tier, the wine is also amazing. The vibe is also really fun, no matter the experience. The only down side in my opinion is the prices. I think for what you get the portions are quite small, especially on Thai Taco Tuesday. I highly recommend this place to people who ask, but I think most of the dishes are overpriced for the portions you get, unfortunately. Be ready to spend at least $100 per person.

Diner Review №70

Food was lacking flavor. I think the food is comparable to street food. The inside is very crowded and loud. Nice staff

Diner Review №71

We were trying to get reservations for 4 months and finally got a table. Omg!!! The food is out of this world. Our waitress May was above and beyond. Can't wait to go back!

Diner Review №72

Crowded but pleasant atmosphere, although the loud music made conversation difficult. Service was exceptional, and the restaurant had an incredible wine list with many options that paired well with food offerings.

The food was good but not deserving of its second place ranking in "Los Angeles Times 101 Best Restaurants in L.A." (I don't know what the Times reviewer was thinking).

Our server recommended the Fried Chicken as a starter, but we found it overly filling, dry, and relatively tasteless (the crunchy shell was nice). The Musselman Beef was tastier, and the Laab Tot meatballs were exceptional. That said, the Drunken Noodles was a disappointment (we've had much, much better).

In all, it was a nice meal, but we likely will not return. We know of other Thai restaurants where the food is better and far less expensive.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Taco Tuesday. The fish taco. Scotty Boy wine. Need i say more!!!? (Yes the crab fried rice)

Diner Review №75

Food was great. Place is small inside and very very loud. Ceiling and carpets are nasty. They have a very strict reservation policy. $25 per person cancelation fee and credit card upfront. If you're gonna do that you better have everything on the menu, and not be missing the one thing we came to your restaurant for.

Diner Review №76

Unbelievable. I rarely write reviews but this place! Huge expectation we’re surpassed easily and Ian (who just won the #1 sommelier award for California) was exceptional.

Diner Review №77

Uhhh this is not it. I was really excited to try this place, booked a month in advance and heard pretty good reviews especially about the fried chicken. The chicken was just alright, very crispy but that’s about it there’s almost no flavor and the sauces are pretty generic. For forty bucks and all the hype I was sorely disappointed — tbh KFC better. The rest of the food also didn’t have much flavor or spice. Most authentic Thai food should have spice levels but this restaurant did not… All to say this place is definitely okay.

Diner Review №78

We’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time and we HAPPENED to be in the area on Thai Taco Tuesday- yay! On Tuesdays, there are no reservations, just a line you wait in to order, receive a number and proceed to their outdoor (alleyway) seating which consisted of fold out tables and chairs with plastic utensils and paper plates. SOME LA ISH! Be prepared to order all of your food when It’s your turn as you have to get back in line if you want anything more.

THE FOOD was delicious and so flavorful, but the portions are quite small, so be prepared to order accordingly. We had the fish tacos which was cooked perfectly, Crispy skin, bold flavors. They are street taco size, but it is a healthy portion of fish.

My 2nd favorite was the Thai sausage tostada, it was thinly sliced sausage (a little spicy) on a bed of fresh herbs (tangy and fresh)! Spectacular, give me 14 of them! 🤤

Overall, the food is the star of the show, no others frills included, but we left hungry and went next door to chipotle. 🥲

Diner Review №79

Sadly food was quite average and did not warrant the higher prices. I was hoping this could be a new go-to spot for fancier Thai, but it’s just more expensive, smaller dishes with the same flavor/quality that you can get at dozens of Thai restaurants in LA. Stick to Thai town if you’re looking for authentic Thai food!

Diner Review №80

Went to check out the Tuesday night tacos and it did not disappoint. The highlight was absolutely the hamachi tostada - really good flavor and healthy amount of hamachi. Got the fried chicken, fish tacos, carnitas tacos, grilled cabbage, crab rice and pad see ew. All super good - didn’t love the grilled cabbage as much as i thought i would. The pad see ew is the best I’ve ever had from any resteraunt.

The vibe was cool - in the ally, paper plates and folding tables with good music track - fun and different. Want to come back for regular Wed-Sunday service inside.

Diner Review №85

The waiters in this restaurant in my opinion behave as though they're Immigration officers giving entry in to the country to illegals in the self-important way they conduct themselves. It's just an In-restaurant for now, for gosh sakes. It soured our group so much the food became irrelevant. No doubt their attitude comes from the people at top.

Diner Review №86

This restaurant met up to its hype. It had delicious yet authentic Thai food with a mom and pop vibe and service you wouldn’t expect from restaurants that have so much hype and accolades. The service was amazing. I’ve already added myself to multiple waitlist notifications for future reservations to try everything else on the menu.

Diner Review №91

I had heard a lot of amazing things about this restaurant, so I was elated when I got my first reservation back in June. My first visit was as a party of two, and we enthusiastically ordered 2-3 appetizers and mains, plus noodles and rice. We also ordered a very nice bottle of wine because we wanted the full experience. From the start, we felt very rushed to order, despite asking for more time. On the plus side, the food came out quickly and was delicious. However, we had not even gotten halfway through before our plates were cleared to make room for more food. Once again, the mains that arrived were amazing. Could not say better things about the Panang and Brisket curries. In terms of timing, we had the same experience - had about half of it cleared away due to timing. We were probably in and out in a little over an hour. I do understand that schedules have to be maintained in order to keep other reservations on track, but it wasn’t the best experience to have to chug our very expensive bottle of wine and take bags of food home.

Flash forward to my second reservation yesterday, this time with a party of four. I won’t belabor the point with every detail, but the overall experience was the same (same server as the last time as well). I would assume that this is just the vibe of the place, but there was another party of four sitting next to us, who arrived at the same time and did not receive the same treatment. They had time to sit and chat, enjoy their wine and eat at a leisurely pace. We were walking out the door after having ordered about 8 courses and they were barely eating their appetizers.

Maybe I keep going wrong by ordering too much food, thereby putting too much pressure on the kitchen to quickly turn things around.

All of this said, the food was great which at the end of the day is what is most important. I just wanted to provide honest feedback because experience is a key contributor to overall enjoyment. Bon Appetit!

Diner Review №92

We ordered 5 dishes 1 was good the fish, black sea bream, then the fried chicken with the spicy sauce, and bok choy with cauliflower and patty pan were great but the crudo yellowtail was incredible. What I wouldn’t order again are the pork ribs. Was tough and not falling off the bone at all. I think my dog would have had a hard time chewing them. Maybe try a different pork purveyor if cooking more doesn’t work. BTW I am french trained chef from FCI in nyc. I gave 4 stars for the 4 good dishes I would go back but would never order the pork ribs again. Service is great atmosphere is ok nothing special.

Diner Review №93

Granted our first visit was a taco Tuesday but this was no fast food experience. The food and experience are both exceptional and worth the hype. Fried chicken can't be better. The bass and carnitas tacos were both delicious.

The Chinese sausage tostada and crab fried rice have spicy zings, both again, great.

Finneas the wine guy deserves props for making the waiting for take-off in line, 100% more pleasant.

And don't sleep on the kampachi tostada. Jaw droppingly good.

This will be a recurring staple on our short list.

We ordered kampachi, prawns, fried chicken with caviar supplement, sea bream, brisket curry, crab fried rice and pad Thai. Also a lovely bottle of German Pinot.

The hostess was extremely rude when checking us in. She claimed they had called us to notify us that our table would be a "quick turn," yet I do not have a single voicemail from them. Despite having a confirmed outside reservation, we were seated inside. We arrived within the 15-minute grace period.

The inside of the restaurant was overly packed, and it seemed the exhaust vent was not operating properly. It was unbearably smoky and hot, causing diners to cough constantly. Fortunately, our waiter, who was attentive and considerate, moved us outside due to my daughter's severe asthma.

While the waiter was nice, the food was beyond mediocre. For the price, both the ambiance and the food were awful. This restaurant might have been great 40+ years ago and is now riding on old hype, exploiting it to mint money without providing service that matches the price or ambiance.

Do you want to pay $40 for subpar entrees while sitting in an alleyway? There are plenty of better options in Thai Town. Please skip this restaurant—it's not worth the wait or the hype. I will definitely never return (review from a diner who has been to Thailand several times and frequents Thai Town).

My friends and I had an outstanding experience @ Anajak last night. Absolutely delicious food. Four of us shared the signature fried chicken, eggplant curry (wish we'd ordered two!), scallops, pad Thai, crab fried rice, two mango sticky rice deserts, and a glass of wine each. Including tip, $60/pp, which I don't feel is unreasonable in LA. But even better than the food was the service - this was the first time in a long time that I have been in a properly staffed restaurant. All of the staff operated like they were owners and invested in the success of the place, which was a pleasure to watch. This included everyone from the personable greeter at the front of the house to our knowledgeable server to the staff who cleared the table. My only (small) complaint is that the place was packed and very noisy - but it was a small price to pay for an excellent meal. Well done and I look forward to visiting again soon!

This place was solid. Luckily We were able to walk in without a reservation and they seated us quickly. Phenomenal wine selection. The food was good but its very overpriced for thai food. You can taste the quality on the Padsee ew but the quantity was lackluster. We got the Fried chicken too. SMH I am from the south. It was good! solid chicken dont get me wrong, but $35 for 4 pieces of fried chicken is crazy. Never in my life. Overall very hyped. Cool atmosphere. Really good service. Food I can find other places.

I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious cuisine. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and the service was impeccable. Although the music was a bit loud and the air conditioner initially too cold, the staff was very accommodating. They kindly adjusted the air conditioning as the vent was directly above our table, ensuring a more comfortable dining experience. Overall, the combination of tasty food, attentive service, and the willingness to address our concerns made it a memorable visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving delightful Thai food!

Snag a table at Anajak Thai (good luck!) and enter a chic Bangkok escape. With pops of vibrant Thai art and an oddly fitting Kobe Bryant jersey it is upscale without being stuffy, a place where you can rock a dress or nice jeans. The menu is a beautiful tapestry of regional Thai specialties, with dishes ranging in all sizes, like a choose-your-own-adventure.

Started with the kampachi crudo - silky-smooth slices of amberjack bathed in a citrusy lime and chili marinade, a perfect way to wake up the palate. The papaya salad was a tiny bowl of spiciness and a delicious punch. The laab tot were little flavor bombs bursting with savory spices and the crispy garden rolls were a nice textural contrast to the other dishes.

Now, onto the big guys. The southern thai fried chicken was everything you want in fried chicken – juicy, flavorful, and a shatteringly golden crust. Each piece was a testament to the art of poultry preparation. The black sea bream, while beautifully cooked and undeniably tasty, had a spice level more of a gentle whisper than a roar. It lacked the fiery kick I longed for. Think “spa day” for your tastebuds instead of “fireworks.”

The massaman brisket was a slow-cooked masterpiece. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth brisket bathed in a rich, complex curry sauce. I made a valiant effort to try the drunken noodles, but truth be told, they paled in comparison to the other dishes. The noodles themselves were a bit mushy, and the overall flavor profile fell short. Skip this one and focus on the stars of the show. For dessert the mango sticky rice is a must-do. A sweet ending to a truly delicious adventure.

Service is great – attentive without being intrusive. Just be prepared to fight for a reservation – this place is popular for a reason! It's a bit of a "worth the hype, but maybe not entirely" situation, but you won't want to miss out on the buzz.

The food was amazing. Everyone seems to be getting the Fried Chicken, which they're famous for, but I'm not a chicken person, so we didn't get that, it looked like good fried chicken though. But what we did get was Out Of This World (OOTW). We had the best Soft Shell Crab I've ever had, with a perfect dipping sauce, an Eggplant Curry dish that was OOTW, the Scallop "Ceviche" in the shell which was OOTW, the Hamachi Crudo OOTW, the Sea Bream OOTW, and the Dungeness Crab Fried Rice OOTW. We accompanied it with Radish & Cucumber Salad which was perfectly delightful, and the Papaya Salad, which was very spice but delicious. I wanted their Mango Sticky Rice, but I was too full. I often hope to find at least one dish at a restaurant that would bring me back, and Anajak had SIX dishes that I can't wait to go back for.

Their signature crispy chicken is meant to be eaten with your hands, which is expected. However, this greasy dish is bland, lacking flavor, and not juicy. It needs more salt. I could hear Gordon Ramsey yelling in my head, “Where’s the salt?” One redeeming quality is its crispiness, which was enjoyable. Their shareable hot appetizers sound and look interesting, but unfortunately, we found their pork ribs lacking in meat. There isn’t enough meat to bite into, so you end up scraping your teeth against the bones like a beaver. The meatballs are intriguing but are on the sour side, which we didn’t enjoy.
Check out this place, but avoid ordering anything greasy if it’s your first date. It could be embarrassing.

Service was impeccable - super professional, knowledgable, and attentive.

Highly recommend making a reservation (weeks in advance). There was a long line the entire time we dined. We sat outside in the most perfect LA weather. Tables are cheap picnic style from Costco, with white table clothes and fold out plastic chairs. It adds to the charm and was an unpredictable aspect compared to the high end food. Loved it. Inside sounded loud and hectic, glad we got an outdoor spot.

Pricing was predictable for a nice LA dinner out ($80-100/pp). Bummed with the smaller portions for that price but the taste was still incredible.

Bring ear plugs. Thai restaurant who wants to be a night club. My local Thai place for $12 is so much better. Huge plates with a little bit of food. I get it. They got some awards.. people are flocking... don't let the hype sway you. The service is great but I can pour my own water. Lack luster as my mom would say. They are pushing that food out so fast to turn the tables. Meals are photo ready but not mouth ready. Curry was great. They put it on a plate. Need a spatula to get that sauce.

Lived up to the hype food wise, service was excellent. But don’t segregate parents with young children in the less desirable part of the restaurant - and don’t think we don’t notice. The other family noticed it too and was offended. The part with the fridges opening and wait staff constantly passing. Inconvenient for families when the other half of the restaurant appears reserved for trendy date goers and is more atmospheric and serene. Very obvious what you were doing. Anajak Thai could be kid-friendly but wants to have its cake and eat it too.

Elevated pricing but not particularly elevated or special Thai food. Overall it was decent, not great. The fried chicken, which on the night we went, basically every table in the restaurant ordered, was dry and a tad bland. It came with five large pieces of fried chicken but only a small dollop of sticky rice. The scallops with ginger lemongrass nam jim were pretty refreshing but they were the portion size of amuse bouche. The tom yum with yellowtail collar tasted like most tom yum I've ever had. The crab fried rice was pretty good. It was loaded with crab, almost too much. Also we wanted dessert but the dessert chef wasn't there until the second sitting so no dessert for us. Can't even plate some mangos with sticky rice without the dessert chef's supervision apparently.

Just wow.

Note* if you come with a party of 7 or more you will have to have a set menu.

Parking: street parking is a pain that's what you have to deal with coming here. Try to get a reservation is highly recommended.

Food: food food food. Wow this place. I haven't had a experience of food like this in a long time. I already tried to look back at the menu we had a couple of days ago and it already changed. I think they change it pretty often. What looks like it's still there is the southern fried chicken, brisket curry, chinese sausage fried rice, some amazing fish i do not remember haha.

Service: Top tier, explaining the menu even when we had a chance to get a heads up before coming here. They had a wine guy recommend the off dry riesling to pair with our foods. Great suggestion. They were constantly making sure no water was not refilled, no plate hanging on our table more than a couple of minutes. Since we are in Sherman Oaks it does get very breezy, there was blankets for patrons to use, which was a very underrated thing to have. well done there. Our server Alan and his crew. WELL DONE YALL. Also thank you for waiting for us, i know we were running late. Parking was tough haha.

Ambiance: The inside looks really fun, but there is no way to have a party more than 4 at max. There was mostly party of twos inside. I saw Kobe jersey inside, very nice touch for me. You are going to sit outside if you are a party of 5 or more. There is no room inside. They do have heaters so it isn't as bad as it looks from the outside. It is pretty warm with the blankets if it does get cold for us like it did.

This place is a recommendation for you other Yelp Elites. Go and get it.

Snagged a last-minute reservation at Anajak Thai. We ordered the brisket curry, southern Thai fried chicken, and noodles supreme. Paired it with a nice Chianti.

Overall, I was a little disappointed. Nothing was bad, but everything was bland. That's not usually a word I'd use when talking about Thai food. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. It's almost no seasoning, though. Wish it had a little spice to it. The brisket curry was really peanut-y and sweet with zero heat or spice in it. The brisket itself was dry, and the texture was more of a short rib than brisket. The noodle supreme was ok, nothing was bad, but it's the same pad see ew you can get at any Thai spot. For the price and hype, I probably wouldn't go back.

Diner Review №142

Stellar and modern takes on Thai cuisine that is both beautifully prepared and presented. I suggest ordering 2-3 dishes per diner, plus mango sticky rice for dessert. My favorites were the fried chicken, drunken noodles with tofu, and the crudo in pastry cup. The wine list is ridiculously expensive, but the sommelier was incredibly helpful with suggestions. The music inside is a little loud which forced me to speak much louder to be heard, but that's our only gripe.

There's something very humorous about using a fork to pick apart fried chicken while sipping white wine. The service was spectacular, very attentive and regular. The fried chicken was... Fried chicken, well executed but not seasoned besides the sauces (which I suppose were the Thai element). The Papaya salad was a nice starter, served in about a ramakan sized bowl. It had a familiar heat/acidity that you might want to save for after your courses if your palate is sensitive to heat. The Pad See Ew was perfectly saturated with its flavoring and sauce, very delicious and well executed. My only critique would be that no beef option was available, so we doubled down on chicken (alternatives of tofu and veg). The Sprouting Cauliflower was crispy and delicious, especially if you enjoy mushrooms. When both dishes were served, their nearly identical portion sizes were presented on unusually distinct plate sizes; one plate seemed too big while the other could barely fit on the plate. Nitpicking--a uniform small, medium, and large plate sizing could be implemented. The sommelier had excellent suggestions based on our general taste. The bussers fervently kept our relatively small table tidy. A range of different staff regularly asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything. The Friday night music was occasionally loud and jarring (certainly not Thai). Even as a white person, this seemed like Thai for white people. I still had a great time because of the service and execution of the food. Worth a visit.

Diner Review №145

Great authentic Thai food. The crispy chicken was beyond my expectation; super crispy outside and soft tender inside. All other dishes are fine authentic Thai style.

Service was not great, and I believe that is due to that fact that this restaurant is one of the most famous ones in LA (Best rated by Opentable). All servers are super busy, and it would be great to expand the restaurant since it's super hard to make reservation with such popularity.

Atmosphere was good with lively (somewhat noisy). Plenty of wine selection is available to pair with variety menu. This is a cozy place, and not a high-end atmosphere restaurant.

Cooking at this level is not easy. Curating a deep wine list like this is not easy. The team here really put their whole hearts into it, while creating an environment that is cozy, fun, and straight up a good time. Like a lot of places that I’ve hit their peak, this one is at this point grossly overrated, as far as we can tell.

A lot is made about how difficult it is to find a seat in this tiny restaurant. That has far more to do with the fact that there’s very few seats available then how outstanding the service or the food is. It’s perfectly adequate Thai food with some unique twists.

Of note is the fact that they often respond to reviews saying to “please just send them an email” for a reservation. We have now tried that twice. The first time we sent an email it took them a full three weeks to finally respond, and then all they wrote back was “when would you like to come“ - and then never responded to our response!

They don’t have any good reservation system, and generally don’t answer the phone.

There’s about a dozen outstanding Thai restaurants between Sherman Oaks, and studio city, far more affordable, and far more generous in their portions.

And if it’s fried chicken you’re looking for - There’s a few fried chicken places in Sherman Oaks and Studio City that beat this 30 year old recipe.

Again, we encourage you to skip the hype and not buy into the fact that years ago they were given on one Michelin star, and that their prices are double at most Thai restaurants.

Thank you. Note to management: It is disrespectful to ask someone to send you an email for a reservation, ignore those emails, and never respond back. Please stop doing that on reviews as you clearly have no intention of following through on your offers. Thank you.

Oy, where do we begin. We were so excited to dine here. We specifically flew across the country from nyc for a dining experience at Anajak.

We were a party of 2, arriving at 5:30p to get on line for Thai Taco Tuesday, starting at 6p. It didn’t take long to be seated. We were seated outside at a shared table.

It started drizzling when we sat. When our apps hit our table, it started to really rain. Anajak did not put up umbrellas or offer anything to help mitigate the rain. For the price range of our dinner, we expected a little more effort and consideration of the guest experience.

Regardless of the rain, we were still stoked to try the food.

We started with the tostadas, the kanpachi ($17 per) and the chutoro + uni ($29 per). It was beautifully plated and presented. The quality of the raw fish was very good, but its freshness was drowned out by an overpowering cloying sauce. The sauce was all you could taste. We also got the striped bass fish tacos ($18 for 2), which were not only underseasoned but also underwhelming. Texturally everything was very soft, from tortilla to the fillet, even though it looked like there was a good sear on it.

We were so excited for the thai fried chicken ($34). It looked so good in photos and in reviews, but we were ultimately disappointed. It had a good crunch, but the meat itself needed a lot more salt. Inside the crunchy exterior, was texturally dry meat.

We finished with the Dungeness crab fried rice ($28), which was sadly kind of mushy. Similar to the fish taco, everything was uniformly soft. We were not even sure if this really counted as fried rice, as it seemed to lack… the fried aspect.

We spent $270 after tax and tip for 2 people. We did not feel that the experience matched the price, especially given the quality of the food and service. We are both industry folks so we understand that it might have just been an off day, but it was nevertheless super disappointing to plan a whole trip across the country for a honestly mediocre experience. We ended up canceling our second dinner reservation at Anajak later in the week following our experience at TTT.

I think the tipping point was spending $270 to dine in full rain, having to ask multiple servers for another plate when our current one got too wet to put food on. We weren't sure why guests weren't moved inside, as there were empty seats inside. We thought it was first come first serve so we weren't sure what the empty tables inside were held for. Regardless I think we would have forgiven the rain (as we understand it doesn't rain often here), had the food been really good.

Our final bill didn't include our bottle of wine ($80), and we had to point that out to our server. We thoroughly enjoyed our bottle and our somm was very helpful, so we wanted that to reflect in our bill.

We wish our experience was not what it was and that Anajak had stayed as a figment in our imaginations.

Diner Review №163

I went for Thai Taco Tuesday ("TTT"). The food was alright but way overpriced given its small portion. There was no menu and waiters took forever to get our orders and give us food. Waited two hours in the rain to get seated. I would NOT recommend this place. Here is why:

1. Lack of communication from the staff:
a. TTT is walk-in only. The staff indicated that it would be an hour wait - it was 2.5 hours.
b. There was no menu; the staff did not tell us it was on Instagram until we walked in; they could have told us that earlier or handed out menu so people in line can pick the food in advance
c. I have a group of 4 and the group behind us was a group of 3. Yet the staff seated the big table of 7 behind both of our groups first while promising we would be seated right away. We were in fact, not seated right away (waited another 12 minutes), and this was on top of the 2.5 hour wait already

2. The food is just OK
a. The food is fine, but it is really expensive for the tiny portions they give you. In a way I feel like I was bamboozled. I don't get the hype around this place. I don't think the food is worth the price or the trouble of getting a reservation / waiting in line

3. Slow
a. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, but it took forever for the servers to get our orders and fill our water
b. The dishes also came out very slowly and very inconsistently, and we were starving! I wish the dishes just came more regularly

4. Misc.
a. The staff tried to upsell us a lot - so beware
b. For some reason the inside of the restaurant is colder than the outside
c. Music is too loud. Can't hear anything your friends are saying
d. I think I'm literally traumatized from my dining experience here. I had two separate nightmares arising from this

Diner Review №164

Food was good but small servings that we too expensive. Can get better Thai food for much cheaper elsewhere and not wait two hours. Would go again if I had a company credit card that’s about it

Diner Review №165

Diner Review №166

Way overpriced to eat off paper plates with plastic utensiles and cups in an alley next to a Chipotle. The food was decent, but x4 the price of any other local thai place that is comparable if not better. I guess you pay extra for the privilege of eating in an uncomfortable seat on a wobbly table.

They make you pay everything up front, including tip, then need to be reminded to bring out each of your dishes, but they don't forget to remind you that they've got a reservation that needs to take your table soon.

Save yourself some money and get a way better dining experience and better food at literally any other Thai place in the valley.

They ran out of desert, so we got apple pie at the diner down the street. Now that was a fine dining experience in comparison to this place.

But everything else was just ok, and the fish curry felt confusing… flavors were way too concentrated, and even mixed with rice it wasnt a balanced dish. Our service was wonderful though!

We had an excellent dining experience. We were last minute walk-ins half an hour before closing to a restaurant filled with patrons inside and outside with roughly 10 people standing outside waiting. From the moment we met the front staff, we were treated with respect until we stepped out. They went out of their way to accommodate us, and we never felt rushed despite the fact we were seated 25 minutes before closing.

We ordered fried chicken, sea bream and papaya salad. All were excellent for not only their taste but also quality of ingredients and presentation. We were especially impressed with the sea bream dish. The wait staff were exemplary.

Diner Review №175

We made our first visit to Anajak Thai, driving two hours to join our friends. It was definitely worth the journey. We enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes, including the standout crispy fried chicken, flavorful crudo kampachi, pad Siew, pad thai, beef panang, pork ribs, and garden wings. While the prices were reasonable, the portion sizes were a bit small. We ordered the pad thai after finishing all the other dishes. The extensive wine list and sommelier's assistance in selecting a great bottle impressed us. Our server even shared a recipe for making sticky rice with mango since they didn't offer desserts. Don't waste your time or money here. It's overpriced and inconsistent in its preparation and the atmosphere was the exact opposite of a fine dining experience.

My friend and I came here for Thai Taco Tuesday and there were only two or three taco options on the menu, the cheapest option was $19 and the portions were tiny. Entire meal gone in four bites. Very disappointing since we waited 90 minutes to be seated. We ordered other things but even though you order and pay before you're seated, we didn't get them until a good 45 minutes after we were seated, and we had to remind the staff.

We were also forced to sit outside on hard plastic chairs, and eat with plastic utensils and paper plates at a plastic table. When the bill averages $50 to $100 per person, the least they can do is use real plates and utensils, and put out a few table cloths.

Also disappointed that they do not have free water, especially considering how salty a lot of the dishes are.

Also disappointed that they only serve wine by the bottle. I wanted a glass but my friend was driving, so obviously wasn't going to drink, and there's no way I would be able to finish a bottle on my own. Might be better with a larger group, but I won't be coming back.

Would have only given them 1 star, but I had to give the serving staff an extra star because despite everything, they were trying their hardest.

Diner Review №187

Came here for Thai Taco Tuesday. The food is quite tasty but the dining experience is too janky for the amount of money they’re asking for. We waited over an hour to sit at a plastic table in an alleyway, eat off paper plates, and share our table with another party. They also ask for tips upfront but won’t even so much as serve tap water and forgot half our order. If you’re going to dine here, just plan to go on a regular night to eat inside and skip taco night. There were only three on the menu anyway. Definitely overpriced and overhyped.

LA Time’s 2022 Best Restaurant of the Year and James Beard award recipient - with those kind of accolades, of course I needed to try. Made a reservation a month out online and had dinner at 6pm on a Saturday with my dad. We ate outside in the alley and I liked the outdoor seating because it was a bit loud and cramped inside (although if that’s the vibe you’re going for, it’s not bad). My dad had the wine flight, which on that day was $60 (its market price) and the theme was Gamay. The som did a great job of explaining the backgrounds of the wines and our waitress Pam was so nice. I had a Thai iced tea (not listed on the menu) and they give you water to serve yourself with at the table. We got the pork ribs for our app; although it wasn’t as tender as I thought it would be, the sauce was really tasty. I appreciated the wet wipe they gave us to use after eating it. The southern Thai fried chicken was my favorite dish - it comes in 5 pieces and some sticky rice with a sweet chili sauce and a vinegar sauce. The rice flour batter was crispy and the chicken was juicy. My dad found the drunken noodles to be the best, as there was nice flavor and the right amount of spice. We were deciding between this and noodles supreme, but ultimately the drunken noodles are spicy whereas the noodles supreme are just primarily made with eggs and onions.

Service was on top of everything and it was cool being in the alley (it was a little cramped inside). Bathrooms are available inside and are single occupant. Credit cards accepted. Metered street parking.

Completely worthy of the hype! The crudo, fried chicken, brisket curry, and mango sticky rice were out of this world. The flavors were incredible, and I would go back today if I could get another reservation. The service was top notch and timely, and the ambience was fun and energetic.

I drive down Ventura all the time and there’s always a huge line of people waiting to get in outside. This has always intrigued me and has made me want to go, but I was a bit turned off by the lines. So I drove by and asked if I could make reservation for 2 that day. With hurricane Hilary on its way, some people canceled and I was able to get a reservation for that same night which was a pleasant surprise!

The host and everyone was very nice. I can’t remember our waiter’s name, (maybe Gabe ) all I remember is he was tall, dark, and handsome lol. We decided to eat inside which is small, packed, and very loud with music blasting and everyone talking. They also have outside dining in front and on side of the restaurant in alley.

We tried a delicious Stein Riesling glass of wine and bottle of Elio Perrone Bigaro moscato. (Although the wine is great, it’s overpriced about 2x as much as the regular price in stores) They change their wine by the glass menu weekly which I love. We started with the papaya salad which was super spicy but so tasty and flavorful. Then we had the Southern Thai fried chicken which was really good, freshly made, and fulfilling. From these two items we were already full between the two of us but we still had two other dishes we had ordered which included the Tom Yum Fumet soup and the Drunken Noodles. Like I said we were already full, but we still ate the soup which was so good. It came with a lil’ kick, lemony flavor, and full fish (watch out for the bones we both almost choked). We couldn’t eat anymore so we took the Drunken noodles home and it was just as good as everything else we ate at the restaurant. The noodles also had a little spiciness to it and we got it with chicken which was good. Next time I want to try it with shrimp.

All in all the food was good and satisfying, service great, and it’s definitely going to be added to my new go to spots in the valley. Try it out for yourself and see what you think!

Perfection in the Culinary Wasteland we call the San Fernando Valley. Have waited 50 years for a creative unique experience like this and finally Anajak has nailed it. We loved everything about the restaurant. Huge shout out to Som Michael who paired every dish perfectly. He added a whole wonderful dimension to the meal. The Fried chicken is over the top amazing. So is the Thai huge prawns. Even the bok choi was uniquely wonderful with the best mushrooms you could ever have. We decided to venture out with the rice with egg and beef and which was delightful. We finished with fantastic sweet mango and sticky rice and Tokaji wine recommended by the staff which was another incredible adventure. Every member of the team was helpful and friendly from the host to the busboys and servers. We no longer need to fly to NYC to have a fun creative inventive culinary night out thanks to Anajak Thai!
