Arrived at 9:15 Saturday night and ordered basil chicken over rice: was extremely disappointed on how inconsistency. Pizza 🍕 would have been better.

Diner Review №2

Best Thai food in the Bay.

Phenomenal food, highly authentic (the signs are literally written in Thai), amazing value. My new default Thai restaurant moving forward.

Diner Review №10

We moved back to the United States after studying the regional cuisines in Thailand for close to three years. This is the first Thai restaurant to hit the flavor profiles of the traditional dishes that we miss so dearly. Go support this amazing restaurant and get a taste of Thailand.

Diner Review №11

It's Thai food.I went there often with my friend and my family.Especially Thai boat noodle...highly recommend

Diner Review №12

Originately, my girlfriend and I were going to go to Brenda's soul food. But it was almost an hour wait. So we looked at other restaurants nearby and all had long wait times. Then we walked a block up and went to Zen's. They had no wait list, the food and service were excellent.

Diner Review №13

Whenever I’m in the mood for Thai food, this is my go-to spot. The food is absolutely delicious, super close to Thai original flavors. You really can’t beat the value for the price.

Diner Review №14

a nice little restaurant, good food, reasonable prices and two beautiful waitresses. Tonorrow more

Diner Review №15

One of the better Thai spots in the city. The have many rare Thai specialties (boat noodles) that are hard to find. Tom Ka was excellent as was the service. Don’t let the location deter you from coming; yes there are some homeless folks out and about but no crime or anything threatening going on.

My favourite Thai restaurant in SF

Diner Review №19

A gem in Tenderloin. They are open during Thanksgiving which saves our day. The food are very good. We had calamares, chicken wings, tom yum noodles, and spring roll. I recommend the spring roll because the sauce is so delicious. They serve the food fast and the price is very affordable. I notice there are locals who are familiar with the place and friends with the people in the restaurant. There are also some big groups coming to eat. I will go back to this place and try other dishes.

Diner Review №20

Best pork pad kra pow on earth????

Diner Review №21

Very good but tell them to keep it Tamer with the hot stuff unless you breathe fire.
Low prices good food low key wonderful.
You can even conveniently score crack around the corner.

Diner Review №22

Order hot and mix the Thai peppers in at the start. YOLO ❤️‍🔥

Diner Review №23

Diner Review №24

Best Thai place in SF hands down. Must order catfish deluxe and boat noodles. Pad kee mao was okay, not the best but still good. If you want authentic boat noodles come here!!! Fried banana and ice cream was also delicious

Diner Review №25

We will be back for sure!
This restaurant is in a gritty part of the city, but don’t let that fool you! The food was really good, the service was great, and the atmosphere was great too. We got in just before the place filled up but the kitchen kept cranking orders out quickly. And like I said, the food was really great!
I highly recommend this place!

Really good, we ordered online for pick up and it was ready earlier than promised. We got the pumpkin curry, pork belly and Chinese broccoli, and drunken noodles. The pumpkin curry was especially good.

Diner Review №30

Mid slap but nice vibes

Diner Review №31

First checked in San Francisco!! Every dish is delicious. I recommend that you come and try the noodles with Thai flavors.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Still our favorite Thai place in San Francisco. Authentic, great quality food and still reasonable priced.

Only issue is the location. This area is just getting worse and worse. We try not to come here after dark and always make sure to park right in front of the restaurant.

Diner Review №34

The food is real authentic. I dine here or get takeouts frequently.

Love Their extra spicy.

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

The most epic authentic Thai food in San Francisco. I typically go with the half fried chicken super juicy has great dipping sauce as well. Also, the beef blood Thai boat noodle is to die for. I love the ambience inside and the people working there are the best. Amazing service.

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

Really good Thai food with a lot of options.

They added a gratuity to the check (which is fine) without notifying us (which is not)

Diner Review №39

Diner Review №40

Diner Review №41

Authentic Thai option frequented by local Thais. Zen Yai Tom Yum noodle encompasses the sweet, sour and fragrant mix quintessential of the Bangkok street food palette. Yen Ta Fo, a playful mix of textures and flavors: seafood cake, shellfish, fungus, and pork blood. Beef noodle soup with beef balls, fragrantly spiced and deeply beefy. Ask for the spice tray for some heat.

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Nourriture incroyable. Saveur thaïlandaise nous fonde en bouche. Excellent prix

Diner Review №44

Boat noodles and Yen Ta Fo noodles are our favorite.

Diner Review №45

Great food & Service. 🫶🏻

Diner Review №46

Super tasty food with a great price

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

I lived in Thailand 17 years so have some notions about Thai food. I always ask them to cook as if for a thai person because I like it spicy and they do! Now I’m a regular here. Yes it’s the Tenderloin but no it’s not dangerous!

Diner Review №49

Always the best Thai food in town! Been there longg time ago and now the food quality still good.

Diner Review №50

Great, very traditional Thai food. All the dishes are delicious and the service was great. Only downside, and it’s a big one, is the location. It’s right in the heart of the bad part of the tenderloin- filled with people shooting up right out in front.
Definitely order delivery from here to not miss their delicious food.

Diner Review №51

Great boat noodle soup

Diner Review №52

Such a solid friendly spot. The boat noodles kind of taste like five spice with pork blood? Tom yum was perfection, pad kee Mao had amazing blackened bits/wok hei. This place is also so affordable

Diner Review №53

6 or maybe 6.5. Solid Thai food for a great price. Pumpkin curry without shrimp, pad kee mao were great. Green papaya salad also solid. Brown rice good

Diner Review №54

The best

Diner Review №55

My favorite thai place in the city. One of the only places you can get a 5 dollar meal including tip and tax in the whole city- their fantastic boat noodles. Their other dishes are also fantastic. Thai spicy is Thai spicy indeed here, and all their flavors are on point, from the pad Thai to the papaya salad to the delicious Thai BBQ and my favorite dish, prig kring moo Grob. A must visit for Thai food lovers and one of the best restaurants in the tenderloin, which is saying a lot given the great density of good food in that area.

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

We read the great reviews and decided to give this hidden gem a try. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic. The vibe is very pleasant and friendly. We had pad Thai, fried calamari, seafood green curry, spicy chicken, and fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert. All the dishes were unique and super fresh. This is the real deal for Thai cuisine.

Diner Review №58

The food was amazing especially the noodle. They were really welcoming and nice to us. I would say the surrounding during the night is a little scary and dangerous so I recommend you to not go alone BUT other than that, PERFECT!

Diner Review №65

味道很好的泰國餐廳,沙爹雞肉串、蟹肉炒飯、Pad Thai、泰式奶茶,每一樣料理味道都很豐富,唯獨座落的區域治安感覺不太好

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Spicy food + beer in a casual environment. One of the better thai places in the city!

Diner Review №68

My friend and I came here for lunch and it never disappoints. I have been here numerous times and the service is always great. I have ordered Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Basil Duck here and they are all super flavorful and came in decent portion. The spice they put is heaven for spicy lover because they somehow made spicy food flavorful. We will be back again to try other fishes.

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

First and foremost price vs taste 5 stars without question. If you need a quick fill up while exploring the city or mid day get me through you can not go wrong. I had the combination #2 individually the flavors and balance of each portion of the meal is great. I've had bad curry before and this one is good not great. Everything on the plate was balanced well. My only complaint is plating. Next time I will ask for the salad to be plated separately. It's a great addition and needed if you want to clean your pallet. The problem I had was the vinegar spread into Pad Thai noodle and cut into the richness off the dish. I enjoyed the proportion of protein vs noodle and curry. This place gets 5 stars based on the amazing value. If the dishes were in the $20 range than I would be disappointed in single plate plating.

Diner Review №71

medium spicy was not very spicy

inclusion of tomato and lettuce in the pad kee mao was interesting

Diner Review №72

The closest thing you can get to feeling like you're in Thailand! The food is really authentic so be weary of your spice levels. The portion size is plentiful so expect to come in really hunger or you're walking out with leftovers. The price is a bargain for what you get so I highly recommend this awesome Zen Yai!

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Absolutely 5 stars ⭐️

Diner Review №75

Delicious food, I recommend it wholeheartedly

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

It’s really good food for the value — like the other reviews have mentioned, the combination boat noodles are pretty good (beef, egg noodles)

Diner Review №78

The fresh rolls were too thick and wrapped in rice dough layer. The same filling in thinner paper roll would taste better. Chicken satay was okay. Overall it was okay.

Diner Review №79

I ordered the Zen Yai Fresh Rolls and specifically asked for the vegetarian option. Instead they got my order wrong and gave me the rolls with shrimp instead.

I realized the mistake this partway into the meal. Was very upset and won’t be going back. At least they removed the order from the final bill.

Diner Review №80

Best thai boat I ever had in the state. It's even better than most thai boat in Thailand. Always have to make a stop to this place whenever I visit SF. Their other dishes are good too but thai boat is my favorites. They also sell thai desert at the counter too, which I loved.

Diner Review №81

Super authentic and cozy spot, for an unbeatable SF price too!
My Thai friend brought me here and was my time having boat noodles! Went for the yon fo tai which had a sweet and sour broth, shared a papaya salad with fermented crab (so good) and sticky rice (dip in the sauce!).
The catfish was surprisingly good too!
Would def be back despite the location 😅
The service is super friendly as well!

Diner Review №82

Good food and good people

Diner Review №83

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service! Great options for spice, vegetarian food, and had wonderful service. Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for great food in the area.

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Best Thai restaurant in the Bay Area, Nor Cal....hands down!

Diner Review №86

Phenomenal authentic Thai dishes. There are so many Thai dishes I haven't tried before?! We strayed from the usual crab fried rice, curry and pad thai. We started with: bone-in catfish $15, e-saan sausage $9, fried calamari $11 and a spicy papaya salad $12. Each dish was delicious with various level of spiciness, taste and textures. For the e-saan sausage, they provide fresh carrots, ginger and lettuce to make sausage wraps. The sweet Thai sauce for the calamari was wonderful. The highlight of this meal was the combination Thai boat noodles $13. They put in meat balls, sliced meat, pork liver and braised meat with an option for beef or pork and thin rice noodles, flat rice noodle, vermicelli, egg noodle or silver noodle. When the noodles came out, it smelled wonderful. That first taste of the dark broth was enjoyable. Great job chef and waitstaff at Zen Yai. This has to be the best lunch of the year, so far.

Diner Review №87

Had a hunkering for Thai, scores local restaurant reviews and reserved vus Google assistant. The process could not have been easier. Though the outside maybe a bit daunting with the homeless encampment across the street, just come. Once you enter the doors, you are greeted warmly. It was busy with looked like many repeat customers. Highly recommend the wings of love to start. The menu includes staples but what is special is the inclusion of authentic Thai cooked by native - which could explain the regulars. Also ordered the pad se-ew and the prig khing moo grob. Both tasty and portion provided lunch the next day. Thai food calls me to have a beer and Singha is was. I will definitely be returning when I get another hunkering for thai.

Diner Review №88

The best pad krapow in town. I’m visiting from Thailand and can’t live without Thai food more than a day. After I saw the photo I know This is Thai style pad krapow. Then I showed up and I’m so impressed because I love this taste. I can’t even wait until finish my dish cuz I’m writing at the restaurant.

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Very authentic Thai spot, helps to come with a native speaker! One of my favorite dishes here is the boat noodle. It's actually very hard to find a place that can do small bowls allowing for multiple options! I love the fact that they leave out all the extra seasoning/condiments to allow you to edit your dish to the flavor you like. I have never had anything bad here and I've tried many of the dishes here. I highly recommend this spot if anything just for it's boat noodle!

Diner Review №91

My favorite Thai restaurant in SF when I used to live in SF pre-2019. So sad to hear they may close down due to the horrible drug and homeless situation around the area. The area used to be decent pre-pandemic.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

I was very happy when I found Zen Yai. Their food was very authentic, spicy, and full of flavors!! It instantly brought me back to the streets in Thailand. Unfortunately the last two times we went, food was bland! The papaya salad I had wasn't even prepared enough, and I was very much chewing on raw green papaya. We also got a seafood clay pot, there were few small piece of shrimps and squid, and barely taste anything! We may try it one more time some day, but it seems just another Americanized Thai restaurant in a crowded market. Service was always barely passable.

Update: we gave it one more try, and the food was delicious.

Diner Review №94

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years. The food tastes good than before but not the service. It’s very disappointing this time, the servers seem like they don’t want to do their jobs. Took them a long time to come up to the register when we were waiting to pay

Diner Review №95

Absolutely loved it...amazing food and staff
Authentic Thai food 😋 best in San Francisco

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

Really bad food. We returned two dishes without even touching them (and they didn’t care).

Diner Review №98

Super authentic and delicious Thai food in a no frills straight forward and inexpensive spot. Unfortunately the neighborhood is rough but don't let that stop you from enjoying the best Thai food in the Bay Area.

Diner Review №99

Must try only dine-in mini noodles bowls for $4-6 so good.

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

Best Thai noodles in SF.

Diner Review №102

Good food

Diner Review №103

The food was fine, the menu has multiple options and is great for vegetarians. We thought the pad Thai was good but a bit lacking of flavor, the papaya salad was great. The down side is it’s location, the street is filled with homeless and smells really bad.

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

Diner Review №106

We ordered the BBQ Thai Style Marinated Pork and the Crab Meat Noodle. I wouldn’t recommend these dishes. While they were ok but other guests meals looked better. The employees were very kind so I look forward to trying it again.

Diner Review №111

Pad Thai was just terrible! Nothing to do with the authentic one, not even close. It was more like noodles fried with ketchup and cheap vegetables. Most of the Pad Thai ingredients were missing. It was super disappointing after such a long wait to get our food ad a part of the order was forgotten and not even the a gesture of excuse. Perhaps they should just concentrate on their specialities such as boat noodles that look appetizing.

Most authentic Thai spot in San Francisco

Diner Review №120

We stopped in about 40 minutes before close. The staff was still very welcoming and accommodating and straightforward about when we could get a last order in. We ordered the combination Thai Boat Noodle flat rice noodles, Kra Prow Moo Grob (Crispy Pork Belly), Green Papaya Salad, and Chicken Fried Garlic. We asked for everything to be spicier than Thai spicy, but I felt like the heat was less than that. The flavor of everything was great though and we actually finished off the four dishes. I liked the Kra Prow best, and the Fried Garlic was good with chili oil added. We got both of those with rice, which again, was cooked perfectly. We also got a pandan cake dessert that wasn't on the menu but was at the counter for $4. This was a great place for our last meal in San Francisco and I would definitely go back on another trip to the city.

Diner Review №121

Worth every penny, if not more.

Diner Review №122

*AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD*
The best boat noodles and som tam in SF. Crispy pork basil was fantastic. Everything was so good here. Closing my eyes while eating, I’m definitely in Thailand.

Diner Review №123

Good prices , best Pad Thai that I've ever had

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Still the best place to go for Thai noodle. Boat noodle, Yen ya pho, or Tom yum noodle. All very good. Pad Thai was also very good. Along with with crispy pork basil over rice which can be spicy.

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

Yummy Thai Street food restaurant in SF. I have been eating here since 2010. Zen Yai is one of Thai people’s favorite restaurant in town. Fried crispy pork with basil is the best one for me. It’s spicy and delicious! Another one is PadThai, it’s very tasty.

Diner Review №128

great taste, good prices, friendly staff

Diner Review №129

It’s looks elegant

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Ordered Prik prow and pad thai, both delicious. Their medium spicy for prik prow is too spicy for me. Asian size serving (just right amount).
Staff are very friendly.
I didn't get to finish but still brought home to go. The price is okay.
Just walk or take the bus here because street parking is always full.

Diner Review №132

Exceptional flavor, that spice is no lie!

Diner Review №133

Best Thai food in the area. Reasonable prices and very tasty food. Good service, also decent take out option

Diner Review №134

Food took hours to deliver. Basil Duck dish is supposed to come with rice. I received no rice. The restaurant was closed by the time the order arrived. Merry Christmas

Diner Review №135

Absolutely delicious.... ordered the "Zen Yai Tom yum" noodle soup.... haven't had anything this before!....I've had Tom yum soup many times, but this hit different

Diner Review №136

Pretty good Thai food, better than most in SF. We had the Pad See Ew, Prik King, and Red Curry Duck. The best of the three was the duck curry.

Diner Review №137

So delicious. Real Thai food.

Diner Review №138

Really good food and staff really friendly!

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

This place is really great...far better then the spots on Larkin. I'm super happy they have managed to hang in their throughout covid. A++++

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

Authentic Thai food with Good pricing and service, really liked it.

Diner Review №143

Zen Yeah! Crazy good. Pad Kra Pao is full of flavor, fragrance, and spice. Papaya salad is bright, tangy, spicy, crunchy, and fresh. We also had the Yen Ta Fo, which is maybe advanced for my current palate, but was so cool to be able to try.
Pad Kee Mao was a miss in my book, lacked the dimension of sweetness (oyster sauce?) that I love about that dish. Nice variety of vegetables though, and the noodles were well cooked.
The absolute quality of the Pad Kra Pao and Papaya Salad are enough to keep me coming back and trying more of the menu. Prices are ultra-reasonable.

Diner Review №144

Was here years ago and I'm glad that they survived. Mainly came here for the small bowl of boat noodles and ordered more while dumping the old soup into the new one. Came here with my uncles and we ordered a few things. Can't go wrong with the pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice. Also ordered the appetizer platter as well as the red curry with duck. Had a small feast and everything was delicious

Diner Review №145

SF best most authentic thai food in the bay area IMO, they have some real regional thai food as well as some well done standards, our family while in SF can never not stop here. The only boat noodles we know of in the Bay Area in total, excellent Esan sausage and they do them perfectly. Run and staffed by nice actual Thai people with a mile of patient being in the tenderloin of SF, decent parking and not too sketchy. My other advice, leave nothing in your car, and i mean nothing, no bags, no trash, no fancy water bottles, give no hints, and stay out of your trunk once you get there unless you're leaving. Its not the best hood, but it hasn't bitten us yet as we are alwayscareful, and we've been here more than a dozen times. A real Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

A Thai friend told me to go there and it was the best Thai restaurant I ever went. Don't forget to take a Thai iced tea.

Diner Review №148

To be honest. Not what you are expecting from a Thai. Everything tastes OK. But nothing tastes reallly good. Chicken smells old. Try a different thai.

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

Pretty delicious! Tried the Wings of Love, Duck Basil, and the fried catfish (very spicy). Very solid Thai option.

Diner Review №152

Great food. Very Authentic. However in the center of the crack users up and down the street. Scary walk from the car and back. Very little parking.

Diner Review №153

Fast service, excellent flavor and value! Fried chicken over fried rice is super flavorful and nice and crispy, broccoli and pork belly perfectly cooked, very good Thai iced tea (obviously), great prices, we were finishing up and saw what the person next to us ordered and we really wanted that too, would definitely come again!!

Diner Review №154

Most authentic Thai street-style food in the whole of San Francisco. Very reasonable prices, and very quick too.

Diner Review №155

I was really impressed about food quality over there. Pad kra prao was superb, but when I tried eggplant with tofu from my girlfriend, I got goosebumps. Great job!

Diner Review №156

Truly Thai dishes, really tasty, especially eggplant with tofu. I heartily recommend it.

Diner Review №157

The best Krapow (minced pork with basil) and noodle, I have tried in USA. Tasty is very authentic Thai.

Diner Review №158

Having never tried boat noodles before I don't have anything to compare these to, but I can say I've never tasted something so delicious in my life. Even the heartiest ramen just doesn't compare. Got the combo with pork, garnished it with chili vinegar and plenty of dried chili pepper, and a cold beer. Whoa.

Diner Review №159

Great authentic spot👍! Has all my traditional favorite dishes, and I even tried the Basil Duck, and I think I'll have it again 😉. Make sure you lower your spice LEVEL a notch. There MEDIUM LEVEL is spicy enough to make me(and probably U) sweat within minutes😬🤣. I'd recommend MILD if you just wanna take it easy!

Diner Review №160

Most authentic Thai street food in the US. Everything we love and miss about Thai food when living in Thailand, they made it perfectly here. Keeping coming back for boat noodle and basil pork.

This is my friends go to Thai spot in the mission. It was very yummy and you have to try the boat noodle soup it was so flavorful! The service was good and the food was very inexpensively priced. I would for sure return for another meal.

Diner Review №166

Diner Review №167

spicy deep fried tofu a great vegan option and very tasty

Diner Review №168

Diner Review №169

A few years ago when I was visiting SF, I had the most amazing Pad Thai. Since then, I've eaten pad thai in a dozen countries including Thailand, and the one in SF was hands down the best. I was super excited to return to SF and eat it again. Unfortunately, I couldn't recall the name or the neighborhood so here I am at ZEN THAI because of the 500+ reviews. I know now NOT to trust the reviews because this was the absolute worst PT. Bad service can be forgiven, if the food is good. I really had to force myself to eat it as I felt my bp rising through the roof because it was way too salty and sweet with out a hint of deep flavor. Ingredients were cheaply put together: sprouts, some slivers of carrot, and disgusting fried tofu. Sadly, the shrimp was the worst. They weren't fresh and I felt like I was chewing on soft rubber. I've even had better pad thai on a plane than here. Macau Air, well done!
The noodles were done right so they get ONE STAR.

Diner Review №170

Diner Review №171

Delicious and cheap

Diner Review №172

Boat noodle soup was a 10/10 just like in Thailand. Green curry was good but small portion.
Cheap prices too but I hesitate to go again because going through tenderloin is really scary :(

Diner Review №173

Amazing food and service. Will be returning there.

Diner Review №174

Real deal Thai food with great flavors. Can really appreciate the simple, tasty, and authentic flavors here. Tied with Sai Jai in my opinion!

Diner Review №175

簡易的泰式料理 覺得口味還可以而已 價格不貴

Diner Review №176

Food is great but rather poor service. It took them more than 15 mins to take my order and it’s giving me anxiety 😥😂

Diner Review №177

There are some really great reviews here, but I have to say the food was so so. I was hoping for a good hole in the wall style restaurant, and saw the reviews. I ordered the pad see ew and the fried rolls. They skimped on the meat and veggies so it was pretty much all noodle. Also, the waiter never said a word, and I had to ask for refills every time.

Diner Review №178

Ordered green curry and Combo 2 on UberEats. It literally took 2 hours to arrive and the curry had zero flavor. I requested spicy and it had no spice. It was like they took some coconut milk, dyed it green, and added some veggies and seafood. Bizarre.

Diner Review №179

Delicious and great deal! Ordered three main dishes, sausage, and a dessert, and it was only 60ish

Diner Review №180

Amazing apps, yummy sticky rice and barb Qi pork reasonably priced.

Diner Review №181

This place used to be really good but i think they switched their chef. The tom yum tastes like water, the bbq chicken was undercooked, and more than once the duck curry had no spice. I used to recommend this place to people but now i recommend to stay away.

Diner Review №182

Great and authentic Thai food!! Not touristy at all, and food was served quickly. We ordered minced pork with basil, two noodles and mango sticky rice. Not every Thai restaurant serves boat noodles and this one has one of the best I’ve tried! We enjoyed our food. Staff are very friendly Thai people. And good price too! Would come back next time in town.

Diner Review №183

Diner Review №184

Not your typical Pad Thai place. We were recommended to Zen Yai by Thai folks we know. Food was delicious. More home style than restaurant food. Very flavorful. Try their specialties.

Diner Review №185

My daughters & I are obsessed with this place! We love their crab Rangoon’s, along with so many other amazing dishes here.

Diner Review №186

Fantastic Thai place. I drove for an hour all the way from San Jose to this restaurant for Tom yum noodles. It's the best (or maybe the only one) in the bay area.

Diner Review №187

May 2021: Great food, great boat noodles!! I recommend meatballs and slice meat boat noodle and the tom yum one. Rich with flavor!

2/21/2022: I ordered delivery for my bf and he kept reveling over the genuine care and taste of the food (and I agree since we've gone multiple times now). He says this is where people should go for genuine Thai cuisine (and he's been to Thailand before). These people know what they are doing, and we're all there for it!

Diner Review №188

Best Thai Food in SF. Good prices too. Not pretentious like other white washed restaurants where they make dishes pretty by putting veggies people won't eat. I love this restaurant. I take my friends there to show what real thai food taste like.

Diner Review №189

Diner Review №190

Wow this place is fantastic. If you ask for spicy it’s actually very spicy.

Diner Review №191

This was such an amazing experience. The waitress was amazing and super friendly. The quality of the food was good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant gave me northern Bangkok vibes which I loved. They played some good Thai music that made the place very comfortable to enjoy a meal. Me and my boyfriend ordered, Thai ice tea, Papaya salad, grilled pork and noodles.A 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back again, when I travel back to San Francisco.

Diner Review №192

Diner Review №193

They have some really good Thia food and very nice friendly staff.

Diner Review №194

Diner Review №195

Diner Review №196

Their pad thai transformed my understanding of what pad thai could be. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №197

Delicious and authentic Thai food. The pad thai is incredible - one of the best I have had across different countries and cities. Basil pork, boat noodles, and papaya salad were excellent too, but tom yum soup could pack more flavor.

Diner Review №198

On the 8th day, god created zen yai’s pad thai. No seriously this is the best pad thai I’ve eaten that isn’t thipsamai pad thai in bangkok, amazing
