Authentic Thai staples like larb, curries & noodles served in tiny quarters.
My friend and I visited this place for lunch after a hike on a Friday. There are many options on the menu even for their lunch special. Great service and fast serving. The food is delicious and the spice level is on point. The price is very reasonable with the portion they gave. I would come back when I get a chance.
I have visited this place during a weekend and it was easy to find the parking.
About food, Loved the spring roll, very tasty! Ordered Mango Tango, it was a little disappointing. I really didn’t like it much. Mas SA Mun Tofu was good. Liked it!
Recommended by a friend, he told me their Thai time wings, gra pow or ka prow are addicting, but i decided to get their Green Fried Rice. I was not disappointed! Don’t know if all their portions are like their fried rice but they gave so much, that i only ate half of it for lunch & the other half for dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place to try their other dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai Food.
The food in this place is delicious! They offer a great price, quality and quantity in comparison with other places.Furthermore, the service is good and the place is clean.
My favorite dish to order is the #80. In the first and second video you can see the difference between indoor dining and takeout. (The flavor doesn't change just presentation obviously). I would recommend this place for a yummy Thai food.
I really enjoyed my 2 visits to this place. Good prices and yummy Thai food. Their Khao Soi is different than others I've had, but delicious. Love the Pumpkin Seafood Curry. So full of seafood and perfect amount of spice. Service is so good and parking was not hard to find, with a little patience. The lemonade is homemade and delicious. Prices are so reasonable too!
Pretty mediocre, and just about everything reflects that. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s only about as good as what I can make at home and I’m terrible at cooking Thai food. Rice tasted a bit off, but the other things we ordered were alright I guess. I can’t say I’d recommend this to anyone, and unfortunately I won’t be coming back.
This is my favorite one of thai restaurants in San Francisco even the place is quite small but I really the foods there it’s authentic and the prices is reasonable anyway the place it’s always busy according to it’s really small but that’s an understanding reason tho. As I’m thai I would recommend this one if you like Thai food.
Best go to ever
The food tasted very good. Loved the panang curry ❤️👌

best Thai food ever 100/100

Good water
He has not got response I am waiting one order 45 minutes
My husband, who professes to not like Thai food, said it was the best Asian food he has ever had. He said the spice level was perfect…green curry chicken rice. I had pad sew wu or something with broccoli and chicken and it was good. We are from out of town and I walked over-to order take out and it was a nice, clean place, small and a tad off Clement. We were very pleased with our meals and would recommend.
Less space to sit but the food was great. Good vegetarian options and you can request things without eggs.
A small place with limited seating and no bathroom but with an excellent lunch special for $15.00. Pick any two items from numbers 1 - 14 with white rice. Get brown rice for $2.00 more. They have plenty of vegetarian options so nobody will go hungry. I enjoyed the #2 chicken and the #13 Japanese eggplant. Both were delicious.
Great atmosphere and family style service
Loved the Pad Thai!
What a waste. Food is super bland, tasteless. Watery sautéed chicken in peanut sauce(#52) and rotten pad thai, Don’t waste your money or your time. The people giving high reviews must have been paid off. Avoid at all costs. I know I will.
Ordered #1 #4 #10 for to go. Literally no flavor to none of them. You'd think thai food got flavor and spice to it, but not at this restaurant. Disappointed!
Very good
Never disappoints.
salmon green curry was delicious and the eggplant was surprisingly amazing, I dont think ive ever thought about eggplant and it was so good absolutely delicious
A family favorite for a long time. Tiny place, so they're not doing dine-in. But always good food!

This is without reservations some of the best Tom Ka Gai in the city. Authentic fresh ingredients (finally a Thai place that uses straw mushrooms!), great flavors and A+++ service.
Amazing peanut sauce and tofu!! Super recommend :)
Only open for take-out! Wanted to sit inside and eat.
Seems to be take out only. The curry was pretty good but the chicken in it was just okay. Good food for simple take out but nothing great.
Excellent service and fantastic of authentic Thai foods.. strongly recommended. Don’t miss your chance rate of 10/10.
When it comes to a restaurant that consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences, this place is at the top of the list. It's become our go-to spot for special occasions, and it never disappoints!
Overall was very mediocre curry with tofu. Not bad but also not amazing. I probably would try another place if I was going to get specifically the red curry based dishes. Service and timeliness of the restaurant was good. Might try a noodle dish next time and update you then
Be prepared no more dine in. They are take out only now. Makes sense as it has a small space. Still love coming here.
The Tom Yum soup was delicious, I also good the drunken noodles which were good but I didn’t really like that they used dried basil flakes instead of fresh basil. However it seems like this place is family owned and operated so let’s support them.
This place was phenomenal last time I went four years ago.
Now prices have gone up to a degree that just feels horrible. Nearly doubled in some cases. Food quality seemed similar to some degree but as though less care were being put into the food. Portions are slightly smaller.
Very sad. I'll never eat here again (Just based on the extraordinarily inflated prices alone).
very inauthentic and strange flavor. som tam was very garlicky and not spicy or sour. pad thai which is usually a safe bet for a first time try was not good. very big portions and nice staff but that’s all that I can say was positive. maybe the curries are good but i don’t think i’ll be finding out.
**These thai folks got fat & lazy! This place doubled their price however food did not improve. Volume did not increase either. Don't want to open for dine in because they are too lazy. Sorry no more patronage! People wake up. Other Thai places are better i.e. Geary Blvd. Just saying.
Really tasty and quite affordable. I went for a red curry with chicken and rice as a side, highly recommend
My pickup order was ready super fast, the price is affordable, and the portions are big. Nice staff and the food was great!
Worst pad Thai I’ve ever had
Of all the places that offer Thai cuisine in San Francisco Thai Time is my favorite. It’s small and cute and the Angel basil wings are immaculate. The curry 🍛 is thick and flavorful. If I ask for Thai hot 🥵 they don’t water it down they make it very hot. Which is exactly what I need in a Panang curry! Also they don’t price gouge it’s very affordable considering some of the alternative options. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you’re visiting or live near the inner Richmond. ♥️
Terrible. Everything was terrible.
To the people calling this “the best pad Thai ever,” “authentic Thai food”, and “the best Thai food in SF hands down,” are you being paid to write reviews?
Nothing about this food is authentic. It’s beyond “adjusted to the tastes of white people” and just straight up bad. The pad Thai tasted almost like fake food. I really don’t know how to describe it, and I don’t understand:
1) How this place is still in business
2) Why it has positive reviews
3) Why we can’t have better Thai food in SF
I wish I could get a refund.
After reading all the great reviews I thought I give this place a try definitely not up to my expectations for authentic thai food... but they do give you a large portion and the price was reasonable.I ordered the pad se ew which was just ok and I asked for the original fried rice medium spicy and it was just sweet and bland and the papaya salad which was absolutely the worst no flavor what so ever. Overall very disappointed
They have some place to sit but they don’t look arranged so I asked to confirm if I can eat there they replied yes you can. So I placed my order and after 10 minutes they came with a parcel and said I can not eat there! My hotel is 1 hour away by bus, if I knew I can’t eat there I would just eat somewhere else.

My favorite Thai food in the city! Amazing food and fair prices. It is a go to for me and all of my friends! :)
I have tried a lot of Thai food in my life, and this is the closet thing taste wise to authentic. I introduced my boyfriend to Thai food & this restaurant is the only one he’ll eat at, and me too, because their food is GOOD. We order the green duck curry, and if you like spicy, they will hook you up. They have the best duck. We live outside of SF just about 45 minutes away, but will drive out there just for the food!!! If you want to unlock a new craving, go check them out. You won’t regret it 😃✨
Picture of green duck curry with rice 🍚 enjoying a nice view checking out the golden gate. #comfortfood
Everything was good, but food was mediocre, there is no dine in and takeout/delivery only.
Glad they survived Covid. 1st time back since 2018 and enjoying delicious Tai food.
Green roti is the bomb
不好吃
By far the #1 best Thai fried rice I’ve tasted in America. Their togo orders are nice and plentiful as well.
Best Tofu curry in the city - panang is so good. Our favorite take out in San Francisco.
The best Thai food I ever had! They made it very fast. Also very nice stuff! Thank you!!!
Pad Thai with duck was amazing!! Delicious Thai iced tea as well
Fast service, the food itself is a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth. They don't hold back on the flavor.
Beautiful and delicious Thai dishes impeccably prepared carefully and securely packed to go with excellent customer service and, in my fortunate experience, available street parking right across the street!
Thank you SF Parking Gods

Great food and fast take out! Its worth the money
I was super disappointed with the food, especially after reading the reviews. Thai food is usually my go-to choice but this was definitely a let-down. We also had over 50 mins of wait for a one dish order.
We went based on reviews, but came away very unimpressed. The bamboo shoots in my dish had an acrid, chemical taste. And overall, there was no flavor of vegetables nor any fresh taste of spices. I generally do not like to leave uncomplimentary reviews, especially with so many businesses not doing so well under covid, but the food was not what others have said it was.
Best Thai takeout in the city, IMHO.
We used to like the food from this place but last couple of times, they disappointed us.
My go to Thai restaurant, fantastic flavors and intimate atmosphere.
Love that thai fried rice with almost everything in it
I was visiting San Francisco, and we wanted to try something different, we found this place on a youtube video and had to try it. The food was delicious I highly recommend the sweet n sour chicken over garlic rice. Let me tell you this is not your average fatty fried sweet and sour chicken from a fast food Chinese restaurant. This is quality and the sweet and sour sauce is not a bright orange at all. We also tried the pad thai which was good as well. Definitely recommend if you want something different. The worker helped recommend items.
The best Thai in the city! SO good! And the separate vegetarian menu is awesome
Best khao soi THE BEST!
Delicioso. Muy rico 👍pad thai.
Ok me and my dining partner loved the ⭐️YELLOW curry FRIED RICE⭐️, we also enjoyed the spring rolls. The pad kee mao was pretty good/not extraordinary (has a nice kick to it)... same to the chicken satay. Great portions and a nice assortment of sauces — which goes a long way with me! Very cute little restaurant with a sweet ambiance even during quarantine (love all the mirrors and aquarium and triptychs).
A small little storefront that I have walked past a million times, but was so glad to stumble across it for takeout! We had amazing pad see ew and pumpkin red curry. Good sized portions and good prices. Took a bit longer so we should have called ahead, but very courteous and clearly busy for a good reason!
This place is AMAZING, large portions you can make into 2-3 meals, at very cheap/ reasonable prices! Pad Thai is amazing, yellow and Panang curries as well! Thanks!!!
Delicious
Quaint quiet Thai place good food
Small but nice
Great food. The staff could be friendlier
Very tiny place, maybe 20 people can fit on it, you can barely move, needs some cleaning, service and food were ok.
Great Thai food at very reasonable prices. Lunch specials at $8 are amazing
Great food, good portions, and a nice atmosphere
Went for a road trip with my church youth, planning to have a great time, it was but not so nicely staff that day. Food was like with an old tasty flavor :/
Riquesimo, jamás había visto camarones dentro de un coco
Food is good. I would eat here again if had to but there are so many good Thai restaurant in the city
The catfish with mango is so diddity dank.
Excellent classic Thai dishes. Affordable. Get the steamed Garlic rice!
Literally the best Thai Food in San Francisco.
Disappointed in this place. Not what I expected. Had to walk through the narrow kitchen to get to the bathroom, could feel the heat from the stove. Food had a different flavor than, what I expected, maybe because of the brown rice. I would not return. Also there were three tables to sit four each. Waitress told us to sit at a table for two, with my chair backing into someone else's chair. Tight squeeze and I am not overweight.
Nothing special. Decent, overpriced Thai food.
Good thai food, small restaurant...its getting real popular and at prime times the lines are long and the tables are few. And, if your thinking take out..think again, because they stop answering the phones to play catch up for the customers awaiting.
Good Thai food and good value
Loved it! Their green curry tasted the most authentic I've had in years. Setvice was great too.
Delicious thai food, good portions and prices, would go back
Delicious Thai food, reasonable price (most dishes are between $9 to $14), and great service! What more could one ask for!
Out of the 19 years in North America, I've never had Thai food that reminded me so much of Cambodia like this place. The thick Thai red seafood curry was perfectly creamy and infused with coconut flavour encased in a fresh coconut. If you visit San Francisco, you need to try this place. The Thai iced coffee is also a must try.
A hidden gem! You wouldn't expect such quality for a place called "Thai Time". The food is insanely cheap for the quality and portions. Fell in love instantly, will definitely come back!
Best Thai in the area. Can be a little difficult to order over the phone at busy times.
I really enjoyed my 2 visits to this place. Good prices and yummy Thai food. Their Khao Soi is different than others I've had, but delicious. Love the Pumpkin Seafood Curry. I don't know how they do it but everything on their menu is just leagues beyond any other Thai restaurant.
This IS my favorite food spot in SF. I have been going here for years and every time it's a great experience. The food is DELICIOUS, prices are absolutely reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff is always sweet and attentive. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Also, love the space, very intimate and homey.

The food was great, the staff is friendly and helpful. The price is acceptable. I tried the soup 🍲 was so beautiful
A wonderful little restaurant. The food is delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Best Thai food in SF in a tiny little space. Thai hot is the way to go for those who can handle it
Great menu with many choices. Excellent, tasty food. Cozy, quiet, and peaceful ambiance. The only thing that could be improved is that the service is a bit slow. So if you come, be ready to enjoy some really good food, and to be patient waiting for it.
Very attentive waitress. Good prices. Excellent food.
Such an amazing hole in the wall type of spot! It’s conveniently located near me in the Richmond, and is my go to for thai. The pad see ew with chicken is my favorite. Portion is great for $10, quality, and veggies they add are perfect. Give it a try— it’s way better than most places in the area.
Great food and good prices. It’s a busy place, so expect a small wait to get a table or for food to arrive. Well worth it though.
A small place , but satisfying, after shooting at bakers beach, i went to this place based on reviews. And all the reviews are true, small , yet wondrous. Fast service with tasty food. If you are in the neighborhood, do try this place. Its amazing and dont forgwt to taste the thai iced tea. Never though thai food is this delicious. Recommendations to all the review readers to visit and try this place .
Loved this place. Tom kha soup was awesome 👏
Food was delicious. Didn't take long to receive our meals.
Showed up around 1:30 PM for lunch on a Saturday, and didn't have the waiting/serving time problems other people seem to have bumped into. Some of the best red curry I've had, and huge portions, easily 2 meals even for a guy like me. It's not worth docking a star for, but be aware that they charge for rice.
Authentic, good price, cozy atmosphere. Must try.
Pretty good selection of fairly priced Thai food. The place is pretty small and always busy. Good thing, you can secure your spot in the line via yelp though. Unfortunately we had roach stopping by our table after we had finished. This clearly shouldn’t happen in any restaurant!
Excellent food on the budget...
Small, tasty, good service.
