Osha Thai is an oldie; and still a goodie. We used to come here after the clubs in the 90's. Nowadays, they close early at 10pm. Some of our old favorites are still around like, crab fried rice and pad thai. Their menu changed a lot. We ordered crab fried rice $23 (w/fried egg +$3), papaya salad $18, crying tiger (BBQ rib-eye steak) $29 and Thai iced teas $6 each.. The food is good. I like how you can customize the spiciness of the papaya salad. They did a great job with the remodeling. Comfortable seats, marble tables, mood lighting, spacious seating. The only things missing are cloth napkins and fresh cut flowers at the table. Service was excellent. Great job everyone at Osha Thai. So many good memories here.

This Thai food was absolutely phenomenal and authentic! As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by one of the waitresses and she kindly recommended food, describing the items very well. One of the dishes we ordered was too spicy, so she gave us some extra without chilies. Moving on to the food, every dish was plated beautifully and the dishes themselves were too good to stop eating. I absolutely LOVE this place and highly recommend coming here!

Coming from South East Asia… this restaurant has everything done perfect. The food was fresh and authentic, beef was juicy, perfectly seasoned and Tom yum noodles and spot on. Service was just friendly and helpful. Our server, Dream… was so attentive to our order. Highly recommend.

We love to come to osha since 97’. The service and food is always awesome. Now it converted to a bit more high end feel restaurant. From furniture, food quality, food choices and presentations are all better than the old days! I am happy to see the new osha looking and very happy the food is still yummy as always! Their Thai ice tea and drunken noodles is the best in the Bay Area!

If you’re in the area you’ll regret not coming to try it out! I recommend the BBQ pork ribs 😁

They only do to go 15min before closing. Don’t waste your time and drive if you plan for ‘dine in’.

The food has been absolutely amazing each time we have visited. The servers are a bit lazy and rude at times. Especially any time near closing and they close rather early. It's not like we enter at 9 or 10 pm. I think they close at 7pm. Way too early to be angry about guests arriving.

I get the green curry and crab rangoon every time and they're delicious.

We love ordering from here. Unfortunately had a very terrible experience tonight while ordering takeout. I asked for a side of peanut sauce and he refused to add one to the order, and he was very rude. He said I had to order the $6 tub on DoorDash. I explained we only wanted a small side, just as we would order in the restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 dishes that we wanted to dip in the peanut sauce in and he continued to say no. We order from this place weekly and have spent so much money with them - what a shame.

I come for lunch on occasion. The food is always good! The waitress and service are awesome. Seems to be a clean friendly spot especially for being near or part of the tenderloin!
I'll keep coming back while I'm working in the city

I should of taken a picture but I didn't. So, I come from a community with many Thai and Lao. We have a ton of papaya salad. I ordered for a second time. The food was great! I asked for extra fish sauce because I like my salad a little stronger with fish sauce and shrimp paste. But this time it was almost perfect. I squeezed on some extra lime. Delicious. The BBQ is always 5 stars. Definitely recommend. The best Thai in the neighborhood. It's nice that they have the combo with a few different items. Ordered the BBQ pork combo with sticky rice and papaya salad.

Really lovely Thai spot right in the tenderloin district. The service was prompt and polite. The menu was really specific but had the specials well advertised. I enjoyed the red curry duck. It was the first time I ever had that dish and I would definitely order it again.

The food is very good: my family has been coming here since 1995 and Osha continues to have good food and service. Thai ice tea has been a staple, and since their recent rebrand into barbecue, the new bbq combo was thoroughly enjoyable (especially the lamb chop and pork chop) as well as its elegant presentation. We welcomed the change in the menu, though do miss some of the classic dishes, such as Osha Sea.

Meat in the barbecue combo is super tender and juicy. The sauce fits the meat perfectly. Service is top notch. I like their Tom yum soup also, which is very condensed.

What a gem!! One of the friendliest hospitality experiences I’ve had in quite sometime. Shrimp was perfectly cooked. Actually all the proteins were perfectly cooked. Spice levels are legit. Lot’s of Thai options in the neighborhood. This one is prob the best. Will definitely be back.

Best pad Thai I've had in a long time. It is slightly pricy, but the portions are huge, and the food is very well-made.

The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly and prompt, but most importantly: the food was FANTASTIC. We had the moo-ping (marinated pork skewers), red curry, and BBQ combo plate. All of the meat was cooked to perfection - the moo-ping and BBQ chicken, especially, felt like they were melting in my mouth. The curry was super flavorful and really hit the spot. Yes, it's slightly on the pricey side (though what isn't in SF nowadays) but if you're looking for delicious food you'll be absolutely satisfied.

Osha was once my go-to place for Thai. The curries were had so much flavor, their samosas were a special treat. At some point it appears they were acquired by a corporation. Osha has expanded all over the Bay Area but at the cost of its original flavor, it is now quite mediocre and more expensive than ever.

Drunken Noodles were amazing and hit the spot. The can of diet coke was complimented well and the server always willing to bring more ice water had us wondering why the establishment wasn't more packed.

Very delicious food for a very reasonable price. The owner & staff very nice , professional service. Papaya salad with rice noodles is my favorites, special combo BBQ is Fantastic, Boat noodles so tasty, Pad Thai with shrimps very good. We walked in the day before they were slated to reopen, hungry and wanting Thai food. The owners were so sweet they just invited us in a made us the BEST Pad Thai dish ive ever had and then made us a specialty desert on the house. Absolutely delicious food and I cant overstate enough how incredibly sweet hospitable the were. A+ dining experience.

1 of my top choices for Thai food in the city! Quality food, decent prices, same OL great location, nice staff. I love the shrimp appetizer rolled in deep fried rice wrap with that sweet red dip and I love the curry soup made from bamboo

Osha Thai restaurant has great food is so-so atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. However I wished that their spicy spare ribs were not quite so spicy as I would enjoy them more. I am glad that they have managed to work their way through the pandemic. I am a 10-year patron of the restaurant as I have lived across the street from them the entire time.

The papaya was too old, and the chicken was too dry. Overall was just ok.

Ordered through Doordash The order was placed Friday the 18th (internal number xprrh) at 8:11 pm under the name Robin.

The spare ribs were stale and the yellow curry was insipid and bland with little flavor unlike the ones I get from other Thai restaurants.

Finally, I specifically wrote in my order to hold the rice and not to send us any because my GF and I cannot eat rice. I suggested that they keep it and out it to use with their other patrons. There was no charge involved and I hoped they would do this…..but sadly, no. 3 containers filled to turn with brown rice. These people cannot even follow a simple request such as this….one that costs them nothing.

Great food, great service, and pricing is reasonable. I had the Pad Thai with tofu, and it tasted amazing, with the just the right amount of spice. I came with a large group, but they were still able to get the food out in a reasonable amount of time.

I can't say enough awesome things about this deliciousness! The staff is so nice and happy to serve us. The pot stickers, shrimp spring rolls, pumpkin curry w/duck, sweet basil w/ ground pork and for dessert sweet sticky rice w/ fresh mango 🥭😋. Oo and the Thai tea comes in a craft! 🔥

We went 5 years ago and It was mind blowing... today we were in town and decided to stop by. Again, rally mind blowing taste and experience. They follow covid protocols and we were more than pleased with the menu, the quality and the taste. We are happy to see the restaurant survived this hard times. Keep up doing great guys. This place was very busy!! But they handled it with ease! Was told a 5-10 minute wait, and it was a speedy 7 minutes. The girl who took my order was very nice. And said thank you for waiting... I didn’t even wait that long! Lol. But that was nice to hear. I ordered the Tom kah soup!!! Very good!! I thought they put noodles in it. upon opening it I was like well this is weird... But nope it was quite a surprise to find out those were mushrooms! Never seen that before. Love it!!! That was also quite a huge portion!! I am stuffed! And some of those delivery drivers dressed in helmets, and awesome scooters. They looked like mad max special delivery edition. Maybe jump on the back of one and hitch a ride next time! One looked like a normal scooter only wider base and turbo charged could fit 3 people on that one! Lol! I can’t wait to order again! Thank you for good food and a fun, neat experience!

Great Thai restaurant with traditional and fusion dishes on the menu. The interior decor of each Osha Thai restaurant is also a treat for the eyes! Can't go wrong with any dish here! Highly recommend, as it's our favorite Thai restaurant!

We had a group dinner and were all pleased at the quality of food and the service. The ambiance is not great, but we were going to a performance later that night and the restaurant was in a good location. The service was so unexpectedly good and fast that we hung around for an extra 15 minutes after we paid because we were so early for the performance.

Osha Thai Noodle Cafe is better than the location nearby the Embarcadero in SF. This space is clean, bright, well-maintained and the service is superb! I highly recommend coming in for a meal or getting takeout/delivery to enjoy at home! The owners are very friendly and sweet. There's a spice and condiment lazy susan for all to add spice, nuts, and extra flavor!

Delicious ginger tea but I asked for a vegetable noodle soup with 1/2 noodles and the waitress didn't bother to convey my request to the chef for some unknown reason so I got stuck with a bowl full of noodles. Disappointing.
