First for there store was empty. We are a family of 5 we decided to give it a try. To not judge even though first red flag all white seats and tables seemed dirty also the menu was stick. Looking around at the walls was dirty. They have cute decor! Food came tasted okay but not good. We really really tried to be positive ! My daughter chicken was still kind of raw. Flavor was not there ! Walked to the bathroom and got glimpse of the kitchen ! Looked DIRTY π© my husband paid while I took my child to the bathroom and they tipped themself and expected more tip ! Once I left the bathroom I said thank you and got completely ignored by the woman who seemed furious. Their plates and presentation of the food was very promising! The food looked good but the flavor was not there !
Once we got home my daughter felt sick! She think it was the wonton soup! She spent the evening THROWING UP ! Will never come back !
The Nood Bar is currently mine and my husband's favorite restaurant in San Diego. They have a variety of food options to choose from, for Vegans, or meat eaters. It's always hard to pick what we want to order. Everything we have ordered is delicious! Fried rice, ramen, the noodles, potsticker, curry, and more. The service is always amazing! Ping is the best waiter/ host/ we have ever encountered. My husband left the restaurant with a man crush. His friendly energy was contagious. We left the Nood Bar with a full stomach and in a great mood.
Service was amazing! The guy running the front of house was working his butt off and did a fantastic job with dine in and take out customers. We highly enjoyed the steamed dumplings and crispy spring rolls! Dan Dan noodles were delicious and the old school fried rice was unique and delicious. We were dining in with 3 small kids and they very graciously offered to accommodate for different spice levels so we could all enjoy the dishes. I also loved how they had it decorated for Christmas.
If you love noodles, are in San Diego, and are not sitting in this restaurant right now, what are you even doing with your life?!
All of the noodles are thoughtfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Do you know how difficult it is to find really good wide flat rice noodles? And then to find someone who knows how to char them just enough to add the perfect smokey hint and keep them from sticking?
Have you been to Asia and you miss the food? Come here and cry sweet tears of nostalgia.
The owners are the sweetest. The service is impeccable in that true Thai warm hospitality style.
The fried rice is so good too! And the dumplings...
Just hurry up and eat here. They're new in town and they're only going to be a hidden gem for so long. You're welcome. :)
Edit: Just tried the Gochujang Udon. Amazing balance of savory, sweet and spice!
My partner is vegetarian and literally cried while eating the miso soup with udon because it was so good. They said it's so hard to find really good udon that's not fish based, and this beyond exceeded expectations. (Bonus points b/c they have a cold and say this is curing themπ)
We came in at a Thursday night 8pm, itβs kinda empty here and they close at 9:30. The foods are pretty good. My hubby ordered a Hong Kong style egg noodles and I had a creamy pork broth udon. Both are nice, especially the Cha Shu Pork is super delicious. The Hong Kong style egg noodles contain a lot of Cha Shu in it, my husband enjoyed so much. Mine has two pieces in the udon noodles, I think thatβs right good for me. The noodles are nice too, plus they have a lot of noodle / ramen choices.

So delicious! Highly recommend!
I liked it, very chill place, only things I didnβt like is they serve the veggies in very big slices. Hard to break down, especially in the soup I ordered. You look a little silly with a large bok choy hanging from your mouth.

Clean, great portions, and the food was wonderful

Good Rahmen. Very kind service.
I've ordered and or brought my family here on many occasions and always have modified my order to my liking with an extra cost with no problem. Example, I've always ordered chicken wings, flats only. My nephew does do as well. Yesterday I wanted two orders of flats and some sake but was told they don't do flats only and never have. That would make me a lying customer I guess. Very disrespectful and disappointing. I've told my family and have we have decided to never eat there again as I guess customer satisfaction is low on this establishments list. Thank you for calling me a liar..
The dirty wings and the chicken skewers were very good and my first order of garlic salt and pepper wings were very good. However, later the same day I ordered a second order of garlic salt and pepper chicken wings and two of the 5 were pink inside. This happened to an order I had two years ago. Would have returned the order but it was close to closing time.

The good - the dirty wings. Very delicious, would definitely order again
The bad - chicken panang curry and chicken drunken noodles. The curry was full of poorly chopped vegetables and a scant amount of overcooked chicken. Spice in the curry was good, but balance of flavors just wasn't there. The drunken man noodles are just meh
Stay away from this restaurant, the food was terrible. I ordered takeout and it didn't look anything like what it looked like in the restaurant photo. They didn't even provide sauces or utensils.
Delicious food! It's like going to convoy without having to deal with going to convoy!
Great food with good service!
The service here is terrible and rude. I walked up to the counter to pick an order on May 9 in the evening, and the two guys on the counter were on the phone. The cook had to tell him to look up. After I said it wasnβt professional they told me to grab the food and get out
Parking was a bit of a struggle to find but I'm not going to dock it any stars for that because that really isn't the shops fault, it's street parking and it's a city that's just how it is. The food though? AMAZING, I got the DanDan noodles and my boyfriend got the wonton soup and he said it was the best wonton soup he'd ever eaten, most places the wontons are lackluster with thick dough that leaves it gummy but these wrappers were so thin they were nearly translucent and they were delicious (I tried some). Both dishes had chasu pork and usually I'm not a fan as the fat is mushy and the pork is dry but whatever they're doing here they are doing it WELL, the pork was delicious, moist and seemed to have a sweetness to it reminiscent of a brown sugar rub, the atmosphere was cute, the prices were reasonable and the service was fast with kind workers, 10/10 would eat again.
Great food, great service, good price. The restaurant is a little small, but the experience was great!
We ordered through Uber- the broths that came with the milky pork broth and Hong Kong style noodle soup was amazingly flavorful. The pork belly for both dishes were overcooked, super chewy and dry. We also ordered cream cheese avocado wontons w plum sauce; the cream cheese and avocado are so bland and couldnβt taste any seasonings added to it. The plum sauce is very delicate so all you taste is the frying of the wonton.
Pick up Order:
Staff was friendly upon pick-up. Staff also read the special instructions note and granted my request asking for pepper that I could add to my Hong Kong Noodles.
Best Asian fusion place I've been to. Loved the notable Southeast Asian notes with popular East Asian Dishes. Will have to try more of the menu to find more Asian influences!
Food: As a Lao gal, I loved everything!!
Hong Kong Style Noodles: Broth was so I good I had to take a second sip to make sure I tasted it right. The Cha Shu Pork was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like that style of pork because of the texture I usually find in ramen, but this Cha Shu Pork was SO SO SO flavorful and cooked to perfection that it just melted in my mouth. It must've been basted over flame because the flavor was present throughout the pieces (4) and it has a yummy sweet, charred umami flavor.
Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons: ACTUALLY spicy and were yummy and filling. New kind of wrap for me (thin and silky) but still delicious.
Satay Chicken: I smelled the satay chicken the moment I got back in my car. I had to fight myself from digging into the bottom of the bag and taking a bite right then and there. They wrapped it in foil so it was still warm and flavorful when I got home.
Beer: Learning to like beer, but the TOM YUM BEER American Wheat Beer was so refreshing and helped cut through the spices so I could continue to enjoy my meal (it actually says it on the back! I didn't see until after my meal lol). Cool to see the other Thai beers, will be trying them next time!
Overall 11/10! Will be going back and trying the rest of the menu.
Ordered chicken pad see ew and emphasized that I wanted chicken. Got my meal delivered and it was shrimp. Did not answer the phone when I called either :(. March 2nd 2:20pm
Amazing food and great service. They're a great addition to the North Park eating scene.
Absolutely delicious food. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere is very awkward from the very beginning. Food is great, but this guy almost bursted a vein demanding a tip. Got angry at my wife. He was going to be given one, but the way he spoke to my wife was just uncalled for. This is very weird behavior compared to all the other similar restaurants in the area. Iβd love to speak to the owners off the clock.
Easily my favorite place to eat! The staff is so friendly and the food is 10/10! I just ate there yesterday and Iβm craving it again. :) I try to get something new every time I go and the new dishes never disappoint.
Was an excellent experience, recommend giving it a try
This is my go to place for a big bowl of comfort, my favorite is the creamy tom yum with udon no meat extra veggies. The broth is unbelievably delicious, perfect amount of coconut milk and lemongrass and the noodles are the best texture. Reasonable price for large portions and the staff is always very nice when I come in no matter how busy they are (:
This is our second time trying and our second time being highly disappointed. It was flavorless, dry, undercooked, you name it. I hate leaving bad reviews but save yourself from here.
Delicious! So much flavor!
Passed by here a million times going to the Friendly next door and finally ordered on Doordash. Got the pad see ew w/ chicken. The chicken was cooked well, not dry. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the flavor was BLAND AF. Sorry, but I will never feel inclined to return here based on this dish. I'll just go to Thai Time a few blocks over where you can literally smell the food from across the street.
I have been to the nood bar at least 4 times and the food and service has always been excellent. Try the mi goreng or the drunken noodles both dishes are great.
the first and only time we are ever eating here if babies aren't allowed put up a dam sign. how are you going to tell me I have to step outside because my baby is being loud he is a baby. my wife is rightfully mad. I should have not paid didn't even get to finish my food due to the disrespect of suggesting I step outside.
Food was okay. Tom Yum soup was underwhelming - I donβt know if I ordered the wrong thing but it wasnβt anything special. I was the only one sitting at the restaurant and my food was lukewarm :/ Iβm surprised that this place has such a high ratingβ¦
Food was ok. Service sucked. Waiter haggled for a tip. Wonβt be coming back.
The food was pretty good in regards to flavor. However, the service wasnβt. The waiter was aggressive about being left a tip. A cash tip was going to be left before anything was said. But to be rude was completely unnecessary. I wonβt be coming back because of the service!!
We came in at a Thursday night 8pm, itβs kinda empty here and they close at 9:30. The foods are pretty good. My hubby ordered a Hong Kong style egg noodles and I had a creamy pork broth udon. Good spot but seems to have random store closings throughout the day which makes it tough to eat here. I have gone in when restaurant is nearly full inside and been told they βwere closedβ so I was a little confused and left still hungry and saddened due to lack of noodle. They sometimes have noodle and sometimes they donβt I guess.
a great option if you are into modern customizable dishes, the menu is similar to those of most thai restaurants in san diego. it is one of those places that is very well rounded but not particularly amazing. the food was good and tasty but i wouldnβt go out of my way to rave about the place or crave eating here, unless of course i really wanted an easy menu with familiar options to choose from and was already in the area. though in all honesty, the noodle soup is the only totally βbuild your ownβ section of the menu
Our server Paul was great
I really enjoyed the pad see ew with tofu at Nood Bar! The portion was big enough that I could take some home for strategic Second Dinner purposes. The only thing that was maybe slightly detracting was that inside was pretty loud and sitting outside with weekend traffic going by was also pretty loud at times, but I did enjoy the nice breeze outside and the sidewalk was very clean. Overall I'd still recommend sitting outside, and I definitely want to come back to Nood Bar.
Food is too pricy for what you get. Panang Curry is very watery. Ordered online said to be ready in 30 min and when I got there, waited 10 minutes for someone to hand me my order. He was also kinda rude.
I'll definitely be back to try some other stuff, very good food, service, and ambiance!!!
So good
We have been here before and have always been happy with our food dishes. Last time we tried going they were closed from 130-3 or something so had to eat elsewhere. Went to OB Noodle house which doesn't disappoint! This time they were open so wanted to give them a try again. If I was a waiter I would make the best experience for my customers engaging in conversation to suggest great dishes one can try. This visit our waiter kept coming to the table to ask if we were ready which was fine but didn't suggest a thing. We ordered and ate. When it came to pay waiter came over with card machine and stood over my husband to overlook what the tip would be. Apparently the waiter was not satisfied with the tip amount and let us know. He asked if there was something wrong with the food because "they never get less than a $10 tip." We appreciate the service and food but there are ways to go about things like this. Tips are appreciated not required. Otherwise include it on the receipt next time without customer approval or change. Bad waiter experience!
Fantastic little spot! Unique dishes & desserts, and the hot tea was perfect on a cold rainy day βοΈ 10/10! π
All proteins were dry. Sauces for dishes were good but the meats were dry dry dry.
Amazing food
Very good food!!
Came here for the first time for lunch and saw it was empty inside. Ordered at the counter, paid, and was asked if I wanted plastic utensils. I was confused, but I guess if you're ordering at the counter that means you're getting it to go? I said it's okay, I'll just eat it there and the cashier asked me if I was going to give a cash tip. I was shocked being asked that upfront before they had done anything that would expect a tip and said it would depend on the service and would instead just take it to go.
Ordered the Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wonton and the Gochujang Udon with pork. Neither was spicy, though you'd expect it to be with those names. The noodles specifically were good, but everything together didn't seem worth the price.
I don't see a reason to go back since there are plenty of places around with better service and value.
Seat to order 5 min. Order to service 15 min. Good food, nice spice to the curry. Comfortable atmosphere.
Meh- over cooked noodles, we ordered a variety of plates: 1 yakisoba, 2 pork broths, old school fried rice and the wings, nothing was noteworthy infact the food seemed reheated.
Food is good, I had been coming here regularly, however last time we went service was very poor, it was very stinky, maybe the bathroom.
The service is so fast and the food is very delicious. Never a bad time here!
We ordered the shrimp wontons as an appetizer. My wife does not and cannot eat chicken. There were chicken wontons on the menu, so I double-checked with my server that we ordered the shrimp wontons, and they said "yes".
When we received our wontons my wife and I each ate two, until we realized that these are not the shrimp wontons. I called our server back and asked again, and they assured us that the wontons on our plate are the shrimp wontons, and that the shrimp is minced shrimp and looks like meat. About 10 minutes later when the server came by to clear our table, I asked if they could check with the kitchen to ask whether these are indeed the shrimp wontons. So the server heads back to the kitchen, chats with the chefs, and comes back and reports that there was a mixup in the kitchen and we received the chicken wontons. The server did not apologize, said nothing else, and STILL charged us for the wontons, even though that is NOT what we ordered. My wife cannot eat chicken, and her stomach is in knots after having eaten chicken wontons that she was ASSURED were shrimp.
In summary, we had to ask multiple times whether we received the shrimp wontons, and we were told that we did; but that was not the case. I cannot recommend going to The Nood Bar if the servers do not bother to check if they served their guests the wrong dish, found out it was the wrong dish and violated their dietary restrictions, and then still charged them.
Nice restaurant. They have pretty much any Asian noodle dish from Chinese Dandan noodles to Indonesian mi goreng. Itβs above concept and the dandan noodles were decent. The only thing missing was η’η±³θ½θγThen it wouldβve been super authentic! I loved the iced tea without sweetners. It was really refreshing. Spring rolls and egg fried rice were good, too.
Itβs a great one stop shop for any noodle cravings you might have. Letβs face it, noodles are delicious and there are so many delicious specialties that I think itβs great you have Chinese Dandan Noodles ζ
ζ
ι’ next to Japanese yakisoba or a Korean-Japanese fusion of gochujung udon. This is a great little place and could imagine would be ideal for takeaway orders as saw lots of deliveries going out.
I also saw they have anything from sake to soju and Asahi. Great little place!
This is a quaint local restaurant with reasonable prices and remarkably flavorful meal. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and has a modern-minimalistic feel to it.
Inside seating is limited so plan accordingly. They do offer carry out -another good option. There are also a few tables outside and provides a good option if wish I g to dine in.
Iβm sure one review isnβt going to effect this business, but I have to tell you. Never order take out. I was late picking up my order and made it 2 mins before closing time, and the lady goes I cancelled your ticket. Then I asked you shouldβve called before you did so, she goes I did call. I was irritated and walked out. My husband went in and asked her to show call logs that she did call. There was no cal made to my number. Straight lies. Thatβs what the employee did to us. We were hoping to eat after a long drive to our home, and this is the game they played with us. If they cancelled because we were late they should have the audacity to call at least and be nice about it. She kept giving me attitude. Not the way to run a business. Very dissatisfied. Iβm also not a person who writes reviews good or bad, but this was outrageous. Super annoyed and disheartened.
I checked this place out on awalk the other night. Fast friendly service with a cute dining area. I ordered:
Fresh salad rolls w/ Tofu
Romaine cucumber carrot, purple cabbage, Thai basil, dep fried tofu, wrapped in rice paper with peanut sauce. Basically they were the fresh spring rolls. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was my cold spring rolls with warm peanut dressing. I usually like that cold as well. The sauce was also a little oily or gelatenous and not smooth like others or had.
I also had the Mi Goreng.
Stir fried soba noodle, Chinese sausage, shrimps, chicken, sweet dark soy sauce, cabbage, white onion, bok choy, carrots, green onion, bean sprouts, and lime wedge. I've never had Chinese sausage before and it was really good. I would suggest that next time you have a mix of veggies like this you remove the shrimp tails.
Honestly, not great. The food was very underwhelming. The spicy wonton were a weird sweet flavor. I did not like them. I asked for added broccoli in my meal and they did not add it. It also was not spicy. Wanted to give a neighborhood spot a chance, but I feel like I wasted $30. Will not be ordering from here again.
very tasty, and accomodated us not too long before closing. thank you to the team at nood bar!
Catchy name, uninspired food. I have to stay spending 59 bucks noodles, rice and egg rolls is a joke to me, especially when itβs not the caliber of these 4star at least restaurants. I was made to pay an extra fee for vegetables that are usually included, no utensils were given and the portion was small. Thanks but never again for me.
The Nood Bar made me blush! Not for reasons you might be thinking. Letβs start with the avocado stuffed wontons. Filled to a plump, steamy and creamy. The red dipping sauce was boss. The Satay with peanut sauce would turn a chicken cannibal. Although both are starters, portions are filling for a meal. Well worth the price. Oh, If you dine outdoors, bring a fly swatter, unless you enjoy the extra protein. Quite an authentic feel.
Everything we had was so delicious. My favorite is the Satay Chicken, best Iβve had around. Definitely listing this place as one of my favorites and coming back again.
The food here is great and on par with much fancier and more expensive restaurants.
Good food here ππ
DELICIOSO, Hao-chur, aroi mak mak, seb ver, Oishii!
we've been here 3 or 4 times, tried something different almost each time, and all were really good. our faveorite was the 'bamee hang' and 'mi goreng' which was a little sweet and savory
I eat here weekly. I like the panang curry with chicken. It is a yummy blend of spicy and sweet. The chicken is thinly sliced and always fresh. The avocado cream cheese wonton are good too. I haven't tried much else. My girlfriend likes everything she has ordered. The people are always friendly. They always acknowledge me and I appreciate that!
I ate at this venue for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed the two different dishes we ordered. The service was very fast and friendly. They were super attentive to us with refills and getting to go boxes. Great place to eat in or take for takeout. Iβd highly recommend checking them out.
Had the Yakisoba with tofu. Was excellent. Some of the best tofu I've ever had. My 3 year old daughter loved it too. Snagged some cream cheese wontons too which were also yummy.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Can't recommend enough.
Foods are delicious. Our second visit to the restaurant. I recommend this 100 percent.
Loved the green curry ramen dish and tofu spring rolls- husband loved his dish Ba Mee Hang too.
*Second trip tried the panang red curry and I like the veggies more in the green curry, so getting that next time again and always getting the fresh spring rolls they are so so good!
The Good: affordable, casual, quaint, date night setting, quick. Waitress was knowledgeable about the food and brought our dishes out to us as they were completed. Order the curry you can thank me later.
The Bad: seating could have been more comfortable high top chairs were not to practice.
The ugly: parking and there is only one bathroom.
I had a yakisoba wasn't traditional taste but all in all good
Muy buena la comida ecxellente los sabores y la frescura de los ingredientes..
Asian fusion dishes, wide menu with noodles/udon/thai. We took the drunken noodles and they were very delicious! Slow service, limited seating, no outdoor seating
Online hours say open until 10pm. I tried to order food at 9pm and they wouldnβt serve me and said the kitchen was closed. The hours on their door say 930.
Small place with authentic Asian flavors. Noodle dishes/flavors from Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan. There's also fried rice, veggie choices, meat choices, soups, dessert, Thai iced teas, wine and beer. Street parking only. Inside and outside tables but place is small so come early, make a reservation or do take out. Worth a try!!
First time wonβt be the last, Food was phenomenal, Drunken Noodles w/chicken, Saracha rice with chicken, The takeout was perfect
Love the food. Eat here often for the convenience and quickness for pick up. But 9:99 for 5 wings no matter the size is way overpriced. Entrees are just slightly under portioned for the price.
Also donβt bother ordering extra / combination protein. It will be just the same amount of meat with different kinds. Itβs not actually more protein for the extra price.
If they fix their to go price / portions would rate 5
Very good food and friendly staff :) we love this place!
Pretty good food here. Might be because we came closer to closing but food came out really fast. Lanksa Curry with Egg Noodle was prob the best of the bunch. MI Goreng tasted a lot like Panda Express' chow mein LOOL (I mean that as a complement actually). Ingredients were fresh and everything was made to order. Will definitely be back!
Great menu and delicious tea!
Cream Cheese Avocado Wonton was a pleasant bight.
Not sure if it has to be served with frozen cold sauce in the middle, though.
HERBAL TOM KHA BROTH with glass noodle. It should be named Glass noodle with a bit of herbal tom kha broth. Not impressed at all and couldn't finish it.
Absolutely fantastic food. Iβll say what they wonβt, best noodles in San Diego.
Update: just dropped it to one star cause I got a bad skin rash even after ordering a vegetarian dish.
If you have a food allergy, I suggest that you do not come here. They are a little bit laissez faire about it. There was certain dishes I wanted to have (e.g. laksa and char kuey teow) and called a week before hand to ask about removing shrimp in certain dishes, which they said that they could do. Then I verified if they used certain sauces (e.g. belacan paste (it has shrimp)) were or were not used, which they said they could also do. I drove two hours with my partner to try it and turns out they don't do it, which really bummed me out cause I prepared and called before hand. The waiter also made it so confusing as to whether certain dishes did or did not have shrimp. It really didn't instill much confidence. So I just ate a vegetarian yakisoba instead, to be safe. Anyway, it was a disappointing experience to travel all the way to find out that certain things said over a phone call was not an option when reaching there.
This food is phenomenal! If you have to get one thing, get the cream cheese and avocado wonton. I almost bit my finger. Peng was so attentive and prompt, you would have thought it was two of him. Definitely one of the best places I've eaten at in San Diego.
This is my comfort food place. There's nothing like a really good Asian noodle or fried rice dish, and this place is the best at both. My favorite dish that I've tried here is the garlic butter noodles, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Just make sure that you at least get the avocado and cream cheese wontons. You won't regret it!
Mmmm...the butter noodles and the spring rolls. My new favorite comfort food.
I really love this little spot. Everything is just always on point. I've now had their Hong Kong Fried Rice and their Pad Thai Plate and both were excellent. The vibe is chill and the staff is friendly.
I am working my way through the menu and everything I've had thus far has been delicious, tasty, balanced flavors, not greasy and the ladies at the counter are cool and offer great quick counter service.
The food was absolutely amazing!!
Great food quality and many selections
Ordered salad rolls, added chicken. Got the order and there was no chicken. Went all the way back and asked to redo order. Got the new salad rolls and proceeded to eat until I saw the CHICKEN WAS RAW. Went back again to demand money back. Never going back.
I think this is the only Indonesian, Malaysian restaurant in San Diego. I love the flavor but I do admit that the spiciness/sweetness is inconsistent from different visits. This is one of my go to places if Iβm craving Asian food.
My friend that has traveled to Southeast Asia said that itβs close to what you would eat there.
Long wait and terrible food. Ordered takeout ahead of time. Came to the location 25 minutes after placing the order, web said order would be ready in 20. Ended up waiting another 20 minutes for our food to come out. My wife ordered the garlic butter and says it tasted like plain noodles, no flavoring. I had the spicy basil rice and I thought I eating water it was so plain and not spicy at all.
Everything was just okay. I think it's just maybe not my style of food. Didn't love the avocado in the wontons.
I usually love the food here. But I ordered some food recently and their spicy level is 1 to 5. I put 1 per usual as I like a mild spicy and it was so spicy that it was almost inedible! Stomach did not feel well after.
Lots of potential but a bit inconsistent. We ate here for the first time earlier this week and had the jungle noodles, wontons and panang curry. We loved it so much that we ordered again over the weekend and it was not the same quality of food. Definitely try it, but beware of lack of consistency.
I was there yesterday nite and the employee in the front is super rude.... mayor attitude. Food is not the greatest. Not going back.
The dirty wings are to die for.
Really great noodles, definitely coming back!
Itβs delicious!! Iβve only tried the grilled meat but will definitely be back soon as there is a lot of great stuff on the menu.
I woke up with the munchies and figured Iβd like to try some garlic noodles. I decided to go and find this place at around 8βish and was happy to see they close late. When we walked in a lady greeted us and I let her know it was our first time. She said take our time and let her know when weβre ready. A few minutes later she asked me what I was looking for and I replied: Something with garlic noodles. She said I should try the Butter Noodles, so I did...delicious π While I was waiting outside in my car, since this IS virus π¦ time, I looked up some of their food pictures. I seen the crab wontons, which by the way the description that I found was wrong because there was no crab π¦ in them, but they were still nice and plump with cheese. I did however order Hold Me Tight which were the shrimp wrapped in crispy noodlesπ€€Just because of those Iβll definitely be back tomorrow. When I first seen the noodles I was thinking π€: Well this is gonna hurt! Because I was anticipating the noodles to stab my gums, but much to my surprise the noodles were very crispy almost airy. Next I wanna try the curry π
Go on, give it a try...you wonβt go broke here.
I was getting food next door so I was kind of in a hurry and in that hungry mode still but I had to try these avocado cheddar and cream cheese wontons then I'd seen from the window. These were some of the best wontons I've had in a very long time. I really did like the flavor. It makes me want to go back to the restaurant and try more food. I will write another if you if I ever go back.
The nood bar has a huge variety of options, their Tom Kah Gai is ridiculously good. Staff always super friendly and quick service. I highly recommend this place
I will absolutely be coming back here. This place was great. The Hong Kong fried rice and Avocado & Cream cheese wontons were 10/10. Take out was quick and easy too. Looking forward to my next visit!
Some of the tastiest noodles I have ever had. I ordered veggie pan fried noodles. The seaweed and ginger were delicious. I ordered delivery and the food was still fresh. Did not disappoint!! I cant wait to visit in person.
My newest favorite noodle house, for take-out. Since moving back to East County from Kearny Mesa, one thing I missed was the Asian cuisine restaurants that were in close proximity. I came across the Nood Bar while ordering from Uber Eats and was blown away. Itβs authentic and made perfectly for taking to go, or delivered. The menu offers a three or four of noodle soup bases that are centered around a variety of noodle types, as well as soup toppings. Customers can always change up their combination styles so ordering more than once a week from The Nood Bar is never a bore! So glad to have found this East County gem!
Mi goreng was delicious, so was any of the fried rice. So many options on the menu to choose from. Friendly service, and posh seating- Nood Bar was definitely worth the visit!
An amazing blend of authentic flavors and modern style plus the friendly service makes this a must-go if you're in the area.
Great food
The service was awful the waitress was horrible the cook was more friendly than her. As soon as I got off my car the bagged ripped, I wasnβt able to enjoy my food beside the waitress being rude and my whole dinner ending up on the floor due to the bag ripping I canβt say anything good about this place the only reason I gave them two star was the cleanest of the place.
Bright clean interior with pleasant music and fresh delicious food. Also some nice beer taps.
Pretty authentic Malaysian dishes. Not much space for large groups.
The food was really good. My husband and I each head something different so we could try a variety of things. Delicious!
The service was a bit surly, but I sort of like that kind of thing on the first visit to a local place. Call me weird...
Char kway teow was fantastic. I've been missing it since I came back from my visit to Malaysia.
I want to introduce you to the bar, The Nood Bar in North Park, San Diego. They serve flavorful Asian-inspired noodle dishes. We got a chance to try a couple dishes here and everything was so delicious. Paired with great hospitality and customer service, this Pan-Asian fusion restaurant should definitely make it to the top of your destination. So donβt wait! Make sure to bookmarking it now.
Food was excellent and service was great. Definitely will be going back.
