Familiar fixture with an old-world flair offering traditional Thai fare, with beer & wine available.
The food is good here and the prices are decent. The atmosphere is good with paintings and decorations to pair with the food genre.
We ordered from the lunch specials and the prices were under $10 a plate. The fried rice could be fried more to make a crispier taste but it was ok.
It was out of my regular routine today to be in this area during lunch time otherwise I would stop in more often.
There is a pepper cart on the table so you can order “mild” and then add more pepper as needed.
This is most authentic Thai food in town . But I was very concerned 😞. Did I just order dessert . I mean I'm a sweet person I put sugar on everything. But this is like a lot of sugar in soup and stir fry . almost that all I taste is candy . I hope they fix this other wise im not coming back .
This is one of my favorite place to go to for the beef pho. Everything tasted good. It’s my first time ordering the laab so I didn’t know but it’s a bit salty, so if you don’t like salty, make sure you let them know to go light in the salt or fish sauce. Papaya was delicious and the shrimp roll is always on point. Only thing about this place is Parking. I think there’s only 5-6 parking space, so if you go while it’s busy, you have to park on the street, which it isn’t too bad either.
Just called, 6 people or more dine in, this restaurant FIXED gratuity at 18% or 20% however much they like. So I asked, it’s not in the law, if my group doesn’t agree, what can be done? The answer? “You’ll have to go somewhere else”❗️. Yes, that’s what we will do. Not a smart business that pushes clients away to not put $200 into their pocket just cuz they are greedy over $40 more! No wonder this restaurant is going down down down down down, people ghost it, it is always empty every time we pass by. This place is all about charging customers for everything needed to have a happy meal (see picture).
After many years of living in Sacramento, we finally found the” “jewel” of a fine Thai restaurant ! We grew up in Asia & my wife is very picky when it comes to taste of food. She (and I) both agree Siam restaurant is so far one of the best authentic Thai food ever. This was our first visit here (definitely not our last !). Went there just to try out the dishes. We were waited by V, who was very pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. He mentioned about the 4 level of spiciness-we picked Thai -Hot (spiciest of all) The fried rice & basil chicken that we ordered was perfectly cooked to our liking with exact level of spiciness and was absolutely delicious. Best of all, the portion was so big good enough for 3 or more people, had to ask for to-go boxes! Overall it was an incredibly excellent dining experience. We strongly recommend that you give Siam a try if you’re craving for Thai food that’s reasonably priced!
Stopped by this place on a Sunday evening. Love the decor. My husband and I ordered the angel wings, shrimp pad thai, chicken tom kha, beef noodle soup and a thai iced tea.
Quick pros: cute decor, the owners are nice, fast service. There was a little rush but we got our food in less than 15 minutes. Love the taste of their beef noodle soup, pad thai and tom kha. Angel wings were decent.
Cons: Limited parking. You have to park a little further because there are only like five spots in front of the restaurant. There might be a wait since I only see two people working in the front. I’m okay with the portion but I know there will always people who complain about how “little” the portion is. But I mean ... the price is super reasonable.
I would definitely come back here and recommend it to others.
Clean. Patient and Nice staffs. Constantly check and made sure we got all of our food and drinks were continously refilled. Good food. Not alot of people. There were only one couple and that was it. Food are good. Better than most places I've been to. Will return. Thank you.
Delicious!!! The Panang curry was gloriously peanut-saucy. So delicious. Other curries and the stir fries were great! Loved by the meat eaters and the vegan. They can do tons of things vegan, including all the curries and the pad Kee mao, just ask!
Also the vibe is great. It’s super cute and makes you feel glad you went out!
I tried the delivious Pad Kow Pod, and I will be returning to try another dish here. The food was fantastic, the service was quick and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I will definitely be returning
The food was amazing and well prepared and the service there were so sweet and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and go back. Also very affordable

Its really great

Location: If your local, this is what parts of Sacramento is like. If you're from out of town, location of this restaurant may seem like it's located in not the best part of town. BUT, the "not so best parts of town" is where you find the best authentic, local, mom and pop businesses.
Once inside, the restaurant itself is cozy. Parking is limited but street parking is available.
Food is AMAZING. And the restaurant is ran by the family.
I no longer live in Sacramento but will stop by here for food when visiting town. They have great catering options as well.
Small location with crowded interior. We recently ordered to go food from here and I got the tom yum with chicken. Broth flavor was good but it was 75% onions and mushrooms 20% herb and broth. Had work my way to find any chicken at all.
I ordered the red curry with sticky rice and egg rolls to go. The red curry was delicious but it was just too sweet for me. The sticky rice was soft and edible!

My mother was from Thailand and she loved this restaurant. The food and customer serve is great! So good!
Sacramento has many food options...I grew up in Hollister California...and it's hard to find different food culture I grew up on Mexican food..I order the cucumber salad and yellow chicken curry soup with a side of rice delicious.and had a singha Thai beer ..I will be coming back
First time there and was surprised how nice it was.
This place is a hidden gem! I had the chicken pad Thai medium spice, and it was probably the best I have ever had! The customer service was 5 star! I ate in the restaurant and was a bit nervous, because when I walked in, I was the only one there but I was really pleased with this place. The atmosphere is really nice, not like super fancy but nice for a family dinner or casual bite to eat with friends. The food is not only great, but also decently priced. My pad Thai was just a little over $10 and the portion size was great! I'm picky with my Thai food, but this place definitely blew me away, it will be a new favorite for sure.
the best food I ever ate ! The service was wonderful & the food was amazing. I can't believe how good this is, I totally recommend this place ! it's also very quiet & the music is calm and peaceful. The restaurant itself was very clean, just a very great place to take your family and friends to eat.

Literally the best curry in town!
This place was okay. I wouldn’t eat here again.
This place is a hidden GEM 💎 ✨️. If you haven't visited, you're missing out on the best food experience you can have!
I hate to give low rating to small business. But Food was below average. Not thai taste. Pad Tai was too watery. Curry chicken had only a few pieces of thin meat. The rest were fillers. Not sure who cooked these. After we mentioned the concerns to the owner/wait person, they didn't react much and gave us the full bill. The building/ decorations were old and dated but commanded relatively high prices as you d find in nicer places.
Hands down, the best Thai food restaurants in town.
My favorite dish here is the deep fried filled snapper with tamarind sauce
The flavor! Ohhh the flavor! I've had Thai from many places in Sacramento and this is among the best. The Pad Thai with Duck was amazing and complex with just the right amount of heat. The Red Pineapple Curry was equally dazzling! I'll be back!
Comida muy sabrosa y un buen precio por orden de comida
Best Pad Thai I've had in a while and good prices.
Small parking.
Everything I’ve ordered from here has always tasted delicious: yellow curry, pad Thai, and fresh rolls are my favorites. My first time trying it was takeout via GrubHub and I’ve been coming here since.
Called in the order, in less than 10 minutes everything was. For was great, service was awesome, very friendly. My son had 3 bowls of fried rice and drank my thai tea which he supposedly didn't like before. We will definitely be going back.
Warning!! What ever you do, do not order the $25 steak. Matter fact, don’t even bother wasting your time to go here. They don’t know how to cook nor understand the difference between rare, medium rare, and medium steak. I had specifically requested for a medium rare steak and when I received the steak, the middle was still cold and raw. I didn’t want to cause a scene since there were people there, hence I tried eating around the outside pieces which were well done. Worst experience ever!!
Best fried rice in town !!!
Great Taco Bell- used to go to the one on MLK but that one’s terrible! Freeport is way between!
Great food, service was not favorable.
Rude owner. Food is too salty and she refuse to exchange food . Don’t come here!! AVOID!!
I always get the spicy chicken basil and I am never disappointed there so good.
Polite staff. Accesible prices and delicious food. I recommend #19.
Too much on food that didn't ask for no spice on that needed
Muchas gracias google map eres lo mejor en tecnología para poder llegar más allá con tus dispositivos muy ala mano pará uso personal gracias
Tom Ka wayyyyy tooo sweet
Had to give this place a try. Been in the mood for some papaya salad lately and this is the spot! Whether you get it Lao style or Thai style it’s the bomb! The Angels Wings with the sauce we’re delicious & you can never go wrong with Combination Fried rice. 10/10 definitely recommend
Best thai in the South Sac area. Perfect flavors. Love the pad-see-ew & tom kha!
We eat from this place for long time food is good but ever since change owner the food get worse more and more everyday I don't think the owner have any food cooking training at all, because all my order ether have too much spice or none at all its time to move on for me!
Came here for over a decade and new management (~late 2020-mid-2021) has changed recipes… such a shame to what they have done to one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in my life. Won’t be coming back, unfortunately.
Good food and taste even better
First time eating here. The food was delicious and hot too, the way we like it. Will return soon, hopefully. One dish we really liked was the sauted eggplant.
Great food. Was worried how it'd be based on the road appearance. Was surprised how nice it was inside and the food was tasty.
Very great customer service 👏
Decent sized restaurant. The take out serving size for Thai fried rice was more than adequate, however it was dry and bland. I would give another try before finalizing my opinion. The staff was super friendly!!
Within the lasted 6 months, the food at this place has become so good. Very authentic Thai food. Having gone over to Thailand and tasting the food there, I can tell you that this place is the only Thai Restaurant in Northern California that tastes this good. Highly recommended. The food is consistently good everytime we eat there. ☝️
I'm new to the place so far very good and welcoming
Very good food and really good friendly people. Best on town
Clean. Patient and Nice staffs. Constantly check and made sure we got all of our food and drinks were continously refilled. Good food. Not alot of people. There were only one couple and that was it. Food are good. Better than most places I've been to. Will return. Thank you.
This is the BEST place to get authentic Thai food in Sacramento. I have been in Sacramento for 25 years and this is my to go spot. The food always taste consistent. Everything on the menu is good.
Edit: They have new owners. 😭 The food is ok, not the same taste though. The service is wonderful.
Love the seafood soup
Best Fried Rice in Sacramento!!! And the Pad Thai is very Delicious!! A must visit!!
The food was delicious and large portions
Love this place. I’ve moved out of state but this is one restaurant I never forget and constantly praise. It’s all because the workers are super friendly and kind; they made you feel welcome and like part of the family.Besides that, all the food are so delicious, never disappoint. I’ll definitely visit again whenever I go back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED❤️
This is a great place for Thai food. Highly recommended!
I was a little disappointed due to some changes in their cooking and prices. I miss the old staff to be honest.
Absurdly good food at low prices
I give them three stars because I really like their food but they weren't closed yet they're open sign was still on and when I get to the door they turn it off and the girl at the register ignores me looks up and tells me we're closed. And I was a repeat customer
So delicious! Nice staff. You HAVE to try the sweet rice and mango dessert, it's addicting. Love the yellow curry and drunken noodles! The noodles could've used more noodles and the tofu was a little overcooked but I cant wait to come back!
The best cooked beef larb I've had at any Asian restaurants.
Have been coming here for the past 10+ years. Was our favorite Thai restaurant in Sacramento. Recently heard a rumor ownership has very recently changed; My order confirmed it. Food was very different than its ever been. My beloved Pad Thai seemed to have the sauce changed to a heavy tomato-based sauce with no tofu. Chicken Satay was a bit dry, and again, the sauce was different. Basically, all the things I loved are no more. Now, it may be better in other people's eyes, but I sadly feel we lost a hidden gem in Sacramento. I'm going to give it one more try before I start looking for a new favorite Thai place.
Loving it!
The food as well as the service was impeccable!
Can’t name anything that isn’t great here, maybe other than the parking!!! There’s always room to improve but everything is going well with the new management. My recommendations are, bf noodles, boneless rib eyed, combo fried rice and the bbq chicken!
Authentic tasty food, price are reasonable, and friendly people.
😋😋😋😋
I love there drunken noodles and chicken satay. I have been a regular customer here since 2005. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly.
Best thai eggplant with tofu in town!
Great food!
Yummy food, served up quickly!
We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. the staff members were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place. One of my family's favorite restaurant. We love the lunch specials!! Curry & pad thai in one combo! The plates are on the sweeter side, but the customer service is always pleasant. The owner and waitor are friendly and you can tell they're good hearted people.

Service was great. Pad thai was pretty good. The orange chicken sauce was really good, but i kept having to spit out gristle or knuckle, and ended up not even finishing it. Regardless, I'd go back, and will. Oh, and parking is almost nonexistent.
good value, good authentic food
Food is good and reasonable price. Friendly staff
Delicious
What great little place to eat at! Very good food and great customer service! Very clean place. Love Thai food and this place serves some of the best I've had. Would definitely recommend coming here! Great lunch and dinner specials. Have the chicken fried rice spicy you will love it. Thanks guys awesome meal.
Really taste, fast, efficient and friendly.
One of my top locations for delicious thai food. Got there about two, it was not packed. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
The food is delicious and the staff very friendly
Parking isn't the best, but food hits the spot if you want good pho. Pho is so good, u don't need to add anything else.
This Thai place exceeded my expectations. The menu had so many choices that it took a while to figure out what you wanted. It was afternoon, after lunch, staff was courteous, entrees came first, appetizers second, even though it was not busy at all. The food was downright delicious, and excellent prices for the quantity of food. I could still take the left over home and eat one more time. The spice level was the right amount.
Delicious Thai food, friendly service. I love this restaurant
Must try their meatball pho soup. It a little different favor than the clear Vietnamese pho.
Great food, nice people. Thanks Souli and Bobby.
The best!
Nice place to go to. I recommend the seafood soup 👌🏽👍🏽
Me encanta
Wow! So delicious! We had chicken pad thai, garlic shrimp, bbq chicken skewers, brown rice, & orange chicken. Everything was great and totally affordable!
Love the cuisine. Excellent service.
Food wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. Went during lunch hours and ordered something that was in the lunch menu - meaning reduced price and includes a salad. Got charged full price and didn't get a salad. Don't know if that was a mistake or intentional. Probably wouldn't go again.
Great Thai.
Great food. Great service.
If you like thai food hit up siam.

Very nice restaurant! Between the hours of 3 and 5 they are closed for lunch so be aware of that. Very good service and very reasonably priced!
It was delicious. Good size portions at a decent price. Very nice server. Our mistake...we didn't know they close after lunch at 3:00. Now we know.
Good food
Food was only ok...best part was the fried tofu and peanut sauce. The yellow curry was really watery and lacked favor, definitely not worth the drive.
All I can say is that I wish I has a bigger stomach. I could die happy and full.
If you are looking for Authentic Thai food, this is the place.
Wonderful food & Service.
I gotta say this is my fav thai resturant. Love everything about it except for the spacing. When i was pregnant i was pretty upset about the hrs too lol..other wise, its my fav place to get my labb and prawn curry fix!
One of my preferred spots for tasty thai food. the service here is attentive. it has a nice feel to it. atmosphere is like a restaurant in fort worth i loved.
Great food and prices are very fair. Family ran you cant beat it.
The food was superb! It had fresh vegetables and the sauces augmented the flavor and paired well with whatever meat you are having! The service was incredible and I appreciate it how wonderful the staff was in sync. Thank you for having all of us and we are definitely coming back!
Vegan friendly. I appreciate that. :)
Friendly staff and great food!
The beef pho/soup is bomb. The broth is very flavorful. Only wished I asked for more noodles. The drunken noodles I also recommend 😊
