I’ve been going to Awesome Thai for years and have always loved their food and service. The customer service when it was a dine-in restaurant by the owner was what kept me coming back. When she sold the business, I was a little sad, but the new owner didn’t disappoint. They’ve continued the tradition of excellent customer service and delicious food.

My go-to dishes are the Spicy Drunken Noodles with Tofu and the Shrimp Tom Yum—both are always flavorful and satisfying. My wife loves the Chicken Satay and Thai Shrimp Rice (medium spice). And trust me, if you order spicy, you get spicy—but it’s so good!

Awesome Thai continues to be my favorite Thai spot, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic flavors!

The wings are crispy but tender and not dry. The soup is thick and creamy and not salty. The spicy fried rice is absolutely perfect! And it actually tastes like fried rice! The customer service was amazing; everyone was very kind and they are fast. I definitely recommend this thia place. And the food portions are perfect!

Once I placed my order it was delivered about 45 minutes later which I was super impressed by. I got the Pad See Ew and it was my first time ever trying this dish and it was delicious! Love the noodles it comes with. I added a side of white rice for $3 because I like the combination with my noodles.

The Thai Tea ($4) was also good and it made sense to add one with my meals. However my favorite thing of all was the crab rangoons ($9). It makes the best appetizer.

Definitely will have to come in person to se the ambiance of the restaurant!

It's a nice hole in the wall type of place, you walk in and can immediately tell the foods going to be phenomenal. I ordered the Panang Curry which was extremely mouth watering and flavorful. My friend ordered the duck fried rice and that was also down right delicious. Will be making this spot my go to for Thai Food, highly recommend checking it out and ordering!

Pad see ew a great dish as always. Cucumber salad was great perfect sweetness. Thai ice tea always a hit as well. Can never go wrong with the Thai ice tea tbh. The last dish was the chicken cabbage wrap not my favorite. Otherwise everything was great 👍🏼

As someone who is Thai, pad Kee meow and pad see ew was on point

I love trying new thai places and landed upon this one on Uber eats. The menu is very extensive and i ended up ordering Spicy sweet basil chicken , wings and thai tea.
I was totally disappointed with everything. The food though hot was not so good. The chicken was chewy hard and almost inedible . Wings were somewhat overcooked and not so good on taste either.
Thai tea is a total disaster , it was just sugar water, really sweet , didn't even felt like a tea.
I was highly disappointed. Not ordering here. I usually refrain from posting bad reviews but this one just pushed me.

I don’t know what’s wrong with this place . They never have their phone working , they charge you way too much and up charge you for replacing a vegetable with another vegetable ?? I’ll never order here again . Extremely annoying and unprofessional place that I don’t understand how is still open . Hope you go out of business!!

Yesterday I walked into the restaurant and said "Hi" to a female cashier. She saw me but remained silent and walked away. I repeated "Hello" - still no response. I was a customer at this place a few times before. I was coming here not often but sometimes when I didn't have time to cook. Not anymore. If this is how they treat me, if they don't want to see me - fine, I am not coming to your restaurant, nor I recommend it to anyone.

Very good Thai food. I ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken and fried egg on top. It was very good.

A little disappointed. I use spicy fried rice as a way to gauge the quality of Thai food from place to place, and the spicy fried rice is consistently very dry and lacking spice.

I recently ordered it extra spicy and I can't see any Thai peppers or serrano in the dish. Instead it has a strong aroma of the prepackaged spicy chili sauce that they include as take out packets.

I'm not a fan of those packets as they are usually garlicky and filled with other flavors. I'm just a little disappointed that they aren't chopping fresh peppers to make their dishes spicy.

Also the rice was so dry, I had to microwave it with a splash of water in order to rehydrate.

There's definitely room for improvement in the quality of food.

Very rude owner that works there, claims her name is Shaf (believe that’s how it’s spelled). Let her know about issues with food and she turned it around on me. Truly pathetic that an owner of a restaurant is not willing to listen to the truth. Had a family emergency and she was condescending and insensitive about it. I had someone recently die due to COVID and completely forgot about my order due to that and again, she tried to make me feel bad about it. Ordered food via UberEats and was extremely disappointed. I got the yellow curry with beef and the mango sticky rice. I've never had bad Thai food before, but this was truly awful. I'm confident that the carrots and potatoes were from a frozen bag and not something they are preparing fresh. The beef was tough, despite being cut thinly. The actual curry was essentially just flavored water with zero thickness or texture.

The only reason I'm giving 2-stars instead of 1 is because the good was still hot when it arrived and the mango sticky rice was decent.

Overall, I don't understand how this place has good reviews. There are plenty of good Thai food options in the valley, but this is not one of them.

Ordered delivery, I got my food in under 30 minutes! Super fast! It was steaming hot still, best Phad Thai I had in a long time in LA

Went to get my usual spicy spaghetti and hot wings. They are as tasty as usual but there is a change. The same order now cost $3 more and felt like there was definitely less noodles. The staff is still nice though. Sad that the prices went up. It's been one of my favorites for such a long time. I guess I'll have to go to OK Chinese more often to get my noodles. You really get your monies worth there.

I got an array of options and loved every single one.

The pineapple curry I got spicy and let me tell you the balance of sweet and spicy is just right.
The cucumber salad, flavor is great. So fresh would love if it was bigger cute of cucumber.
The pad see ew was really yummy I got it with veggies only and would have enjoyed it much more if there were more veggies.

Other than that everything was delicious and I would definitely be back.

I never take the time to write a negative review, but this time I find it necessary. I just had an order delivered from Awesome Thai, and it is anything but awesome. For starters, I received the totally wrong dish. I had ordered a pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and paid extra for the meat. But I received something else entirely. There was no meat to be found, and it was completely inedible. The additional food I ordered was incredibly subpar, and the Thai tea was so sickeningly sweet that it made me nauseous. I don’t think I’ve ever had bad Thai food, even when it was cheap. Sadly, I had to wrestle with DoorDash just to get a credit for the one item that was incorrect when I should’ve gotten a credit for the whole meal. Most disappointing lunch in a long time! They need to work on quality control and not cutting corners.

Been coming here for years. Always delicious, always great prices. Parking is spotty, but if you're patient most folks are in and out quickly.

Just hideous. Tom Ka Kai is tasteless. Mongolian beef should not have bell peppers in it, not green, not red, not carrot. Too many veggies, not much meat. Meat is chewy and disgusting. No flavor.

let me tell you 'bout this bomb Thai joint I stumbled upon. Man, oh man, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth! The pad see ew took me straight to Thailand, and the eggplant dish was so fire, I had to order 2 more dishes for takeout! and get this, they're all about generous portions without breaking the bank. They don't even upcharge for beef or shrimp! It's a steal, my friend, just ten bucks and you're in Thai food paradise.
Seriously, hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. This place knows how to deliver the goods. So if you're craving some authentic and tasty Thai grub, you gotta check 'em out ASAP!

One of my favorite places to eat in the San Fernando Valley, especially in Reseda. I highly recommend the green curry and also pad Thai. When I really need it, I love to get the Thai iced tea and the coffee Thai ice tea is addicting. I have easily eaten here over 30 times and love to go.

Not even close to awesome. Ordered 5 different things. The only thing they have going for them is being relatively inexpensive. Short ribs chewy and fatty with almost no meat. Combination rice barely any meat and not flavorful. Pho was terrible. The meat in the pho was so hard and flavorless I couldn't get it down and the broth was very salty and bland. Steamed dumplings tasted like they were microwaved from frozen. Not to mention the parking lot is super tight and hard to get in and out but that's not their fault. Very disappointed.

This place is such a hidden gem! We love ordering from them. We feel like this is basic Thai comfort food, and we plan on using them to cater a party we're throwing. I recommend the eggplant chicken, dumplings, fried tofu, chicken and vegetables, the tofu veggie soup, and the pad thai!! Enjoy!!

I live in Glendale, I eat Thai food all the time because it’s my favorite. I left my car and had to pick it up in Tarzan’s and I said why don’t I order this on the way home for the family and my birthday dinner with the Family on New Year’s Day. We pulled up to take out and my girlfriend saw it. And I thought she would say what are we doing here but said I love a good hole in the wall. I order 2 orders of Tom kha w/ chik some of the best. 2 curries red and green drunken noodles and Mongolian beef. I will have to say preside all around the table with some leftovers and a price under 70 for that much food. Great deal great food and the best we’ve had. Must have this foods about sticking to what you know and like. Curry and some noodles. A soup when it’s cold.

I think personally the food is just okay. Not too generous with the amount of meat/shrimp that they put in the meal. Fried rice was okay, not something that you will crave over and over again. I went there a couple of time because it was the nearest Thai food I could find. Prices are also a tiny bit pricey for one meal in general. There are more places that I think have better price and better taste. But it's still a good place to go when it's close to you and you are not willing to go far away.

Discovered this on Sunday night while everything was closed and i wanted to try some local food. Can honestly say this place did not disappoint. The owner was extremely friendly and even delivered to our car while we waited. The tom kha soup was one of the best i've had in LA. The jerky pork was abit salty but my partner said he really enjoyed it. If you want to support your local mom and pop store, i recommend coming here!

I love that we have this great Thai place down the street from us. The food is amazing. We have not had one bad item. The owners always happy to see you. When you order, use their website you get the best price and discounts. Looking forward to the next time.

Everything is good here--the pad see yew, the egg roles, the chicken, and the Tom ka chicken soup. Thai tea is always good too, and so is their service. Love this place!:)

The staff is friendly but for the second time they got my order wrong. It wasnt a super big mistake and was easily fixed when it was pointed out but still a bit annoying. Their Tom Kha is great but the rest of their food is fairly mediocre. Nothing super.
