Family-friendly eatery serving a big menu of standard Thai dishes for lunch & dinner.
We got to this place last minute, they were nice to accommodate our big group, the service and attitude of the server was great but the food was very average, it lacked the flavor , the very basic mango salad was made out of literally raw mangoes , with too much cabbage,it was so bad , the rest of the food was the same .
Definitely not going back ……
Nasty. The Tom Yum soup tastes like hot garbage. Like someone heated up the gross liquid that can be at the bottom of your trash can if there is a hole in the bag. Some of the worst that I have had. Not to mention extremely overpriced. If you want good Thai food in Paso Robles go to Thai Classic. I am so disappointed and feel ripped off. Never again. 0/10 would not recommend.
Nice Thai food restaurant. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, Panang curry with chicken and Green curry with chicken. The flavors were typical for a a Thai restaurant and appropriately spiced consistent with our request. The place got busy and we were handed our check and told there was no hurry but we were not asked if we wanted dessert. Overall a good meal.
Delicious Thai Cuisine, Lovely Environment.
PROS: The food was excellent and served in very aesthetically-pleasing ways. The staff and service was great; they were helpful, accommodating to a changing reservation, and treated us well/attentively the entire time. The place was busy, but we never waited long for anything. And the overall atmosphere is nice, given the decor and arrangement.
CONS: It was busy (Mother's Day/Sunday), so it was perhaps hard to hear over the volume of other voices at times - but not enough to sway from eating at the establishment. ((Two Thumbs Up)).
Nice place, reasonably clean, good service. The food however is not good. Ordered Panang Curry, Yellow Curry, Fresh Spring Rolls and Fried Rice. The fresh rolls were mostly iceberg lettuce, the curry was water consistency, and the fried rice was greasy. The Panang Curry had three pieces of chicken in the whole bowl and the vegetables appeared to be frozen. For the price that was paid it was quite disappointing. I didn't expect Thai food similar to what we eat in Thailand, but the food was not even close to authentic Thai.
Incredible atmosphere and great service, got seated fast and got our order in quick. All the food came out at relatively the same time and it was all really good. We had the Thai sampler and every item on there was good! I ordered the Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the spice level was great, flavor was there, but maybe the chicken was a little dry. Overall satisfied with what I got but, it is on the more expensive side for most main entrees compared to $10-20 range of other spots; this place is $15-25
Freaking awesome Thai food. This place is very very clean. The food has that spicy Thai taste you look forward to in dining on excellent Thai food. It's also located downtown Paso right at the park. Parking can be a pain but the food is worth the drive and parking space search or wait. If you enjoy Thai food look no further. Staff here are also very friendly and on time without having to ask for water or soy sauce or whatevs you need. The menu is also very simplified which makes ordering quick and easy. Check it out if your in the north county.
Favorite Thai food in the entire county, and possibly in the state! Very authentic 👌
Disappointed and disgusted. Fecal matter in the shrimp, not cleaned properly. Expensive, gross food. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. People who give this place 4 stars clearly never had real Thai food.

Best Thai place in paso!!! I love this place so much, I do a little happy dance when I eat here!!! One of my favs in Paso for sure!!!

Highest price of all Thai restaurants in this SLO county.
Ordered pad see yew with no fish nor oyster sauce

Would be 4 stars but the $19 Salad was very small. Was told that it was large prior to ordering but they seemed very cheap and low quantity of greens or lettuce . Everything else was good but I thought all the portions were small based on what they charged but I guess it’s a fancy wine country town and they feel obligated to do that.
If you want to eat chicken and shrimp in your food inadvertently while you ordered vegan food, then go there. If you want to get reprimanded from the restaurant manager for complaining about the order then go there. Order Pad Thai, no chicken no shrimp no egg being allergic to meat and instead got the food filled with that. The manager shouted on me and didn’t refund. Height of arrogance.
This food was terrible. It had so many chili pepper skins that I had to pick them out. I tried to eat it for 2 days and I just couldn’t. The rice was over cooked. The shrimp had no flavor or seasoning. I don’t know how they could mess this up. 3 platters costing almost $80 and it was definitely not worth it. They should be ashamed.
This place is awesome. Knowledgeable staff helped us choose our meals. Each dish was absolutely delicious. Cute place in the Heart of Paso Robles.
We are definitely coming back.
Excellent Thai restaurant.
Restaurant smells super funky like sewage or something. Walked out.
The food was so fresh and tasty. We ordered some noodles and they came with a lot of yummy beef and great flavor. We also ordered a chicken dish that was amazing. The spring rolls also didn't disappoint. Would highly recommend it for fresh food and great service.
The setting is very nice, if you can get in. There are no simple dishes for guests who don't like Thai food, so forget bringing your picky compadres. Some dishes are deceiving. For example, the "barbecue chicken" is 1/2 boiled chicken sautéed in oil whole on the bone with sweet and sour sauce. It is not barbecued at all, which leaves one wondering why it is called barbecued chicken. It costs 18 and there is nothing palatable about it. Rice and veggies are extra. It may come out 5-10 minutes after the rest of the dinner plates, leaving its recipient sad at the table. The menu is fixed, and changes are not entertained. There are some good aspects such as the nice lighting, beautiful music, and excellent presentation.
Best Thai restaurant ever
Great food with great service!
Food was excellent and promptly served. Prices are reasonable.
This restaurant is absolutely one of my favorites in all of Paso Robles! The food is delicious in every way! Even my picky eater finds incredible dishes that he loves! It is the perfect date night with a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere! It is also a fantastic lunch or family dinner out! It hits all the spots and I can’t speak highly enough of them! Everyone is very find as well going above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy yourself!
I love coming here every time I visit Paso. Really delicious authentic Thai food, with fabulous service right off the town square. The sampler is wonderful with a little taste of several appetizers - the satay chicken and fresh rolls are my favorites. I also ordered the shrimp salad which was very refreshing on a hot day. Highly recommended 😊
This restaurant was “over rated “ a bit Disappointed ! The service was poor . It took more than 30 mns to get our plates served from the time we ordered . But the worst are the “ serving size”! They are personals ! You can’t really have enough to share . Except the pha tai ., the rest you couldn’t share . Too small . Specially each dish was over $15 ! The taste was average … not bad but also nothing worth coming back !
The area is nice n easy to park
Closed for lunch???
Who does that??🤪🤪🤪🤪
I HATE THIS PLACE. This place was so horrible and trash. The noodles taste like they been frozen and reheated like 100 times it literally taste and feels like rubber It tastes like an unborn baby made it. AND ON TOP OF THAT THE EGGROLLS YASTE LIKE DIRT. Unsatisfied. Cool sauce tho :P 2 Stars.
The atmosphere is comfortable, but nothing special. The food is great! We had pad Thai, curry and spicy fried rice -- loved them all.
We stopped at Basil Thai for a quick lunch stop. The food was very good, we had the drunken noodles, tom kha soup, crispy basil chicken, pineapple fried rice, Siamese fried rice, iced tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was quick, mindful and polite.
The women's bathroom was alright. The stall that was clean was very tight in terms of space, the door touches your knee as you sit and I'm only 5'2" 🤷
Good thai food similar to my favorite restaurant at home
Este lugar es muy bueno. Siempre me gusta el pad see ew y el pad thai.. tambien las golden bags que son ohitas de harina rellenas con camote. Me gusta que ponen la comida en carton o plastico en vez de poliestireno (styrofoam).
One of the better Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at.
Good food. Good service. OK Prices.
excellent ! staff super kind ! love the tom kha soup ! but everything was great !
Don't miss a chance to try some really good thai food in this restaurant with traditional decor and amazing delicacies! They also have specials menus depending on the season. We wanted to go for an early dinner and this place was the best option as it opens at 4.30pm
Best Thai food in the area, hands down. Excellent courteous and efficient service no matter the day or time. Thank you!
Great food!
Excellent preparation incredibly delicious and without the annoying sugar that many Thai restaurants feel it's necessary to add to the food
Delicious food and wonderful service!
Always great food and friendly staff
Food is ok. Definitely not the best Thai food, and it’s overpriced in my opinion, but it’s Thai food. Service has been questionable at best the three times we have eaten there - keeps getting worse - both take out and dine in.
Seemingly impossible to order online - even though they have a presence on three ordering Platforms and claim to take orders on their website (although they denied having a website so it’s very confusing?) Uber eats and grub hub took the orders and then said they were closed when the restaurant was open for 4 more hours.
I would not recommend this place, but continue to eat here because they have Thai food.
Amazing! Food was fresh a d tasty. Had a special menu which we picked from. WS so happy with the choices.
Best Thai food in this area. The Pad Prik King with a little touch of Honey was outstanding
Spicy noodles and pad kee mao were phenomenal. They also have some tasty tempura shrimp.
My GF said it was the worst Pho soup she'd ever had.
Always such a great meal here! I try to go every time I’m in town.

The flavors were typical for a a Thai restaurant and appropriately spiced consistent with our request. Good food. Plating issues. Larb and papaya salad were served in a lettuce cup. The lovely dressing drained through and pooled in the plate, leaving the dishes dry. Perhaps the dishes could be served so that the dressing could remain with the food.
Best Thai in Paso. I crave their peanut sauce dishes and love everything. They'll make it as spicy as you want, but they air on the side of caution so you have to be really clear.
Great restaurant! Food is always delicious!
This is the best Thai food in Paso Robles. Their Panang curry, Param with crispy tofu, pad kee mao, and spicy fried rice are my absolute favorites. Additionally their Thai iced tea is divine.
Cute restaurant with good food and $15 corking fee.
I had the panang curry and my friend had the pineapple fried rice - we both really liked our meals and the service was really quick.
Delicious Thai Cuisine, Lovely Environment.

Must visit place in Paso Robles.
For noodles/rice, there is also option for extra and extreme spicy for more flavors apart from those mentioned in the menu.
Yellow curry and tom kha kai is my favorite! I doordash from here pretty often and food always comes hot, just as well prepared and presented upon delivery to my home as it is dining in. Quality is excellent! Staff are friendly. Definitely recommend visiting.
Really great customer service, great food in large quantities! I enjoyed the pineapple fried rice.
Muy buena comida al estilo tailandes, espacio para comer dentro del restaurante o también puedes pedir para llevar.
Best Thai Food In Town
Service was slow! My friend's order arrived and mine came at least 10-15 min later. Food was ok but expensive for lunch.
Great Thai restaurant right next to the downtown park. We got here just before the rush, otherwise maybe be prepared for a wait.
Standard Thai dishes, with some specials.
Service is very friendly though food was slow to arrive (kitchen seems to be slammed).
All the dishes were a bit sweeter than I'm used to, but I think it's just a different flavor profile.
Highlight incide the pepper & garlic (we got it with pork), and the coconut rice. Pineapple fried rice arrived at the end and was tasty, and will make a nice leftover fish this week.
Very good Thai food, right in the heart of downtown Paso Robles.
Happened to try out Basil Thai when driving down from San Jose to San Luis Obispo. Intention was to find a vegan / vegetarian-friendly restaurant for dinner on a Monday. The restaurant honors vegan requests and the food is tasty overall. We tried the vegan versions of some soups, curries, and stir-fried dishes. The Tom Yum soup had a tinge of sweetness thanks to the pineapples (no Thai restaurant I have been to in the SF Bay Area puts pineapples in Tom Yum). The curries could do with a little less turmeric, but the stir fried offerings were perfect.
I asked for vegetarian pad see ewe for takeout and when I got home my noodles smelled like fish sauce. FYI, Fish sauce is not vegetarian.
Truly some of the best curry I’ve had since I visited Thailand. We had the vegetarian Thai Platter, a red curry and a panang curry. Would absolutely come back!
Nice outdoor dining. Friendly service. Distinctive flavors. Overall great experience.
This is one of our must go places in Paso. Love the food and the staff are great! Quiet place!
Standard american-thai food. Good menu selection. Nice place to sit outside on a nice evening.
Disappointed with all the dishes ordered & serving size ( sizzling seafood, crispy basil chicken, & prik king green beans. Way too much thickly sliced carrots & brocolli, sauce was the same for all 3 dishes (not tasty@all). Only redeeming order was the sticky rice w/ mango. Place overrated. NOT coming back for sure. Had tasted better Thai food elsewhere.
Tired of pizza or burgers come here
We loved the food here and the Shrimp in Black sauce stood out. The Red curry with Tofu was RIDICULOUSLY good!
Decent pad thai, $19 each because it's Paso Robles. I like that the regular pad thai comes with chicken, tofu, and shrimp but adding vegetables will make it so much better. For the vegetarian pad thai, please slice the carrots much, much thinner as they take longer to cook so the carrots were still crunchy.
With peace and love, this is not authentic Thai cuisine at all. Disappointed in the taste of everything we ordered: shrimp red curry, pineapple fried rice, and chili basil stir fry. The red curry was carrot sweet. There’s no taste or scent of coconut. The pineapple fried rice had too much turmeric and tasted more like Indian cuisine—-and it had two random cherry tomatoes that did nothing for improving the taste. The chili basil stir fry was the closest dish to being authentic, and close is still miles away. Basil is in the name of the dish - two small sprigs doesn’t justify calling it chili basil. Worst is the price we paid for this: $67! Maybe that’s why they decided to throw in….a small crumpled bag of Lay’s Wavy Potato Chips…could it be any more random? Nice customer service, but not enough to make up for the disappointing food and price.
The most authentic Thai food in california! Delighted by the beef salad, eggplant salad, salmon curry and calamari.
First time there and enjoyed. The food was great 🥰
We had the yellow curry and Tom Kee eaw. They are both seasoned very well, and special mention to the yellow curry which has impressive flavor and not watery like many Thai curries, most likely due to good blend of coconut milk. The noodle was good as well, fried with balanced seasonings. Much better than expected for a mid trip lunch break.
I absolutely love this place. I was quite surprised to find a Thai place in Paso, let alone one as good as this. The flavor in their dishes is exquisite. The customer service is professional and friendly. And most importantly, to me, they really know how to kick up the spice!
Súper expensive, bad service and food it's not good, portion are super Small. 4 plates not enough for 3 people. Almost 32 dollar for a plate of noodles. 😲 WOW
Everything was perfect from the service, wait time and food. They were very busy but didn't miss a thing.
Nice wine selection. Try the Tempora Shrimp or the Duck. Sweet waitress staff.
Great food!
Excellent food and fantastic service! Will definitely return when back in town.
we have been coming here for years. it's our regular stop while passing through town. we love the area. food is great and service is friendly. the location is convenient.
The vegetables here are really fresh and the food is really great! We ate spring rolls, spicy fried rice, cashew nut chicken, eggplant, and chili basil vegetables. Everything was very tasty. I highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.
Been here so many times and the food and ambience is good even if it's pricey. I ordered on uber eats today and it was complete mayhem. The order was late even when it was ordered 90min ahead. Their menu on uber is completely messed up as well. I showed up and talked to the server and she confirmed the right items. But I had to still wait 20 min. When I came to pick it up they had completely messed it up. No apologies but blaming it on miscommunication inspire of the fact I was there in person
Appreciated all the vegan/vegetarian options! My friend and I had no shortage of possibilities here and the Thai sampler was able to be adapted to be vegan. The decor was nice and we got to actually sit next to the open window. All-around a great experience and thoughtful service!
Very average Thai food for the price. My husband and I ordered the Thai rolls, chicken pad thai, and pork pad see ew to go. The rolls were crispy but underwhelming flavor wise. Both of the noodle dishes seemed to be missing seasoning and spice. I would not recommend this place. The highlight of our experience was the friendly staff and the bag of Cheetos that was included in our takeout bag.
Amazing & usually always busy! You may have to wait, but it is worth it..
really yummy but overpriced.
Great food, fast and friendly service
The Spicy Noodle with chicken...aaaggghhh, soo good!! The Crying Tiger is a great starter, and the scallops are delicious as well. If you love flavorful, authentic tasting Thai Food, with a spicy (optional) kick, Basil is your place!
Food had great flavor!
You can tell they focus on fresh ingredients and perfecting balance in the flavors here! Love the noodles and the curry dishes. Its a bit more expensive than the other places but you pay for quality!
Always delicious, always great service. Love this place.
Delicious food. One of the best Thai food restaurants on the Central Coast.
Bad service super rude. Walked in they were rude, walked right back out. Every restaurant was full they were empty for good reason
Very nicely prepared dishes at the right price.
Always friendly service, great food. It's my personal treat to swing by, sit at the bar, exchange pleasantries. They know my dishes and the heat desired. A neighborhood Thai retreat in vineyard and cowboy country!
Delicious and did I mention delicious?
Clean inside and Bathroom had a Lysol can which is always a good sign. The food was great, white meat chicken. The Tom Yum seafood soup had alot of seafood. The staff needs to check in with clients waiting to be seated. Once seated the waiter was very fast (good thing when your hungry). The waitress was constantly checking with is..great customer service.
Always great! When ask for spicy they give you spicy
Service is great 5 stars. Food is very filling and you will want to walk it off or have a nice glass of wine in the area. Medium heat is equivalent to a spicy jalapeno pepper. We had the panang curry and the Thai peanut beef. Both were decent and had flavor, I am used to Thai food with a little more bold flavor but I was not disappointed. Great ambience and the music in the background was calming.
Great food
Came to town to see the light field, 2 hour drive. Decided on this restaurant because it looked nice, and thai is generally quick. We sat at 645 at the same time as another table. By 730 the table next to ours who arrived at the same time was finished with their THIRD course, and then our appetizer arrived. Another table sat next to us after this ordered, received their appetizer ate it, received their entree and started that, then we got our entree. By 825 we got the check, waited again for someone to get the card, finally escaped and drove to the light show to be politely told they are no longer selling tickets for today.
I understand that sometimes you are understaffed. But for the love of God. Keep the ticket order straight. I'm chalking this up to poor management. No one came to or table or made eye contact while we waited over an hour for food, and within 5 minutes of the entree arriving we had 4 visits asking how the food was. Next time when you know you messed up, at least swing by the table and face it.
One of the Best Restaurants in Paso!
Delicious, colorful well prepared Thai food. Good variety ,reasonably prices, large portions. Dine in a semi dark, very imaginative, artfully done dinning room. Service very helpful and attentive. I enjoyed their lunch special of butter lettuce, shrimp cups, and flavorful Thai ice tea.
Amazing! You must try the house special chicken.
The food It's very good here. I remember we had to wait..but we patiently wait lol!
I LOVE this restaurant. I go here every time I’m in Paso. They have fantastic vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian options. The tofu satay in the appetizers is my favorite dish! The entrees are all delicious and good portions, usually worth 2 meals for me. Only downside is parking in the whole square can be difficult, especially on weekends, walk or lyft if you can. That said I’ve always found a spot within a few blocks, you just may have to circle for a bit.
Absolutely amazing every single time. From the service to the food and the general atmosphere its all great. Ive gone twice this week and will go again in a few days when my dad comes to visit. One negative though, the ice cream desserts are so good you just have to force yourself to stop eating your dinner to save room for dessert! 😂💖💖💖
Nice small down town location and good ambience
Tasty but expensive!
Freaking awesome Thai food. This place is very very clean. The food has that spicy Thai taste you look forward to in dining on excellent Thai food. It's also located downtown Paso right at the park. Best thai food around.
Great service and food. Try the Thai tea.
My friends had mango sticky rice and they say it’s just awesome.. it’s $8 and too good for the price.
Staff very efficient super friendly and also service is super fast...
