After a long day it was a pleasure to sit down and enjoy a fresh meal. I was not aware of how good a place this was. The spicy drunken noodles were so good!! I also enjoyed a bowl of ginger soup which was like the part in Ratatouille where the critic had a flashback of his childhood!! The ginger broth was flavorful yet It was not overbearing. You could still taste the chicken, white mushrooms and carrot individually.

This is one excellent place for thai food. I tend to be adventurous in ordering and so far everything I've ordered has been excellent. Now for the service . This is a very friendly place. Everyone weather they wait on you or not is friendly and attentive..

The best ojai restaurant for sure

I’ve been here many times. The staff is very friendly. Four members of the staff are family.
The food is excellent. My favorite is basil leaf pork or pepper-garlic beef.
Great Curry selection. The pumpkin curry is great if you’re into pumpkin dishes.

If you are in Ojai area do yourself a favor and go to this cozy little place! An absolute gem in the area! The best Panang curry and pad Thai I've ever tasted. Sadly we were passing by and can't go for more of their amazing food. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their dishes; they sure know what they are doing!

The food was very good and well flavored! I loved their Yellow Curry Crab Fried Rice and their delicious twist for their Kung Pao Chicken dish!

Best Thai food I’ve ever had and I’d say best in the entire Ventura county. The staff is so kind and hard working. And the Thai tea boba is the only one you should be drinking it’s so good. Definitely a staple of the community.

This is one of our go-to restaurants! They can make most of the dishes gluten free as well! We love the pad thai and yellow curry especially in the lunch special.

Wonderful Thai food, try the appetizers, they are all excellent! Curry dishes are great too. About 10% higher prices than your average Thai restaurant.

I loved the Tom kha soup. It a was wonderful balance of flavors of coconut and lime. Others in my group weren't happy because they tried the bacon Pad Thai and didn't like it. However, I was happy overall. They gave me a cute roll cake for my birthday!

We had the vegan wings (which were unlike any vegan food I've ever had), the Tom Kah soup, and the pumpkin red curry. They have some very unique items on their menu and make them all exceedingly well. Highly recommend.

My exposure with this place was very brief as I was traveling and I needed to stop by to have a drink and use their WiFi and washroom.
I noticed the place is very clean, and organized! The staff are very helpful and friendly which make me go back to this place for a proper meal in my next trip!

By the way, I had a fresh Pandan Coconut in there which was quite refreshing in this hot and dry weather in Oak View.

I am keeping that 1 star for the time that I actually taste their Thai food, I am a fan and I would love to try and evaluate the authenticity of the Thai food in their menu, so wait for it, I’ll be back! ;)

While the pandemic has put a crimp into our usual travels, we're delighted to be able to stop in at OM Thai for carry-out when we're passing through on our way from the Los Padres National Forest back to our home in the Conejo Valley.
Most recently, we ordered Chicken Satay, Shrimp Pad Thai, and a yellow curry, and took it with us to a picnic table in Foster Park for an absolutely wonderful lunch.
We've sampled Thai food all over the U.S. and this rates right up at the top. No, we haven't been to Thailand, I get it, but we have tried Thai restaurants all over the San Gabriel Valley (Los Angeles area), in the Bay Area, Seattle, the East Coast, and other places around the world. A Thai restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga and another in Port Hueneme came close, but they've since closed.

Hands down best Thai food place in Ventura County! They have big, generous portions for a good price and it’s all very filling and delicious! The noodles are always cooked perfectly, the pork is my go to meat choice since it’s always tasty and juicy, the yellow curry has the perfect amount of spice, and every dish there never disappoints.

The yellow curry is the best my girlfriend had ever had and I'm inclined to agree. Excellent balance of flavor and spice. Everything else this far had been decent, but not like that yellow curry which stands heads above the rest.

This is by far my one and only Thai food, the curry selection alone is noteworthy and the employees are just fantastic

The BEST Thai in Ojai! Do not hesitate. Order the Money Bags for sure as an app. I like the Tom Kah coconut soup and the Garlic Pepper chicken. I always get brown rice, it's always perfect. Fresh spring rolls are very good. Pad Thai is good, Pad Se Eew is great! Anything you order will be above average. Super clean, friendly and delicious. Order ASAP! :-)

The table setting and the atmosphere of this OM Thai Cuisine is modest and casual. OM has great service and delicious, authentic food. Currently, one of my favorite dishes there is the Yellow Curry with chicken. The food here depending on the day can get spicy, which is the perfect thing when looking for an authentic Thai food restaurant. OM in my eyes is the best Thai food in all of Ojai. Other places may look more refined in appearance, however, they offer a lower quality of service and a less flavorful experience. OM is honestly a hidden gem in Ojai, they are doing a great thing by carrying the tradition of Thai food while also experimenting with new concepts.

The absolute best in Tai cuisine. My son and I eat there once a week... I'm a lifelong vegetarian/ vegan at 61 and my son Forrest can handle level five, the hottest,, like it's great! The staff never cease to be amazed to watch him eat.lol.

If they have the khao soi available, you must get it. It is one of the best thai meals I've ever had. I wish I took a picture of it. I also had a thai iced tea and a mango sticky rice as well, which were both equally amazing.

If I'm ever around Ojai again (I live in Phoenix) I will be sure to stop in here again and pray they have the khao soi still available! Seriously, so good. I had sauce left over and took it home with a scoop of rice and it made another great second meal.

Food is your standard slightly better than fast fare Asian cuisine. Been numerous times but the place is rarely hopping since the management change(not that the prior management was much better off). Location has housed four different Thai restaraunts since Avanti closed up shop. Real estate location is excellent though the parking lot is particularly wonky and small. It is the only Asian restaurant in Oak View and the nearest Asian selection otherwise is in Mira Monte an almost 10 minute drive. Current owners don’t offer delivery which is a major letdown. Well actually very few places in the Valley offer delivery and grubhub, doordash and the like haven’t made it here as of yet.

Top Notch! Loved OM under the old owners so I was not immediately convinced I would like the food under the new owners. My fears were unfounded, while the food has completely changed since the old owners it certainty has not decreased in quality. Staff is very friendly and professional. Food comes quickly and I've never had to wait for a table I like to get the yellow curry. OM and Exotic Thai are neck and neck for best thai food in Ojai

I grabbed a delicious last minute dinner. The food tastes very good and not loaded with too much salt. I ordered off the dinner specials- chicken skewers with brown rice and it came with a small portion of cucumber and red onion, crispy wontons, crispy spring rolls and wonton soup that had a nice light broth plus some assorted sauces.
