Food was pretty good, service was a little slow but friendly. The atmosphere could use some help, but overall it was worth it for the price and portion. We had the spicy basil chicken and orange chicken. Nice flavors and the medium heat level (3) was perfect.

Enjoyed our meal. Pleasant and attentive staff. Clean, plenty of parking. Fresh food and big portions. Waiting for spring to get the coconut rice with mango. Recommend the pad saew with shrimp and refreshing iced tea.

I am not sure if the food here is good as we couldn’t get past the horrible smell. The gentleman who was working was pleasant enough. Maybe if their food was good takeout would be worthwhile. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and smell overcame our appetite. The prices look reasonable and other people’s reviews make this restaurant look like they have good food.

I may add the 2 stars once normal comes back. Owner is exhausted because there is no staff to assist them, no one is applying. I removed 2 stars because the food looked and tasted very different from the authentic flavors - I will assume the new kitchen staff are still in their learning curve about Thai cuisine. The simple soup, pad thai, and fried rice seemed to have come out of a freezer, quickly sauteed, plated, then served. We will visit again once everything normalizes from this pandemic.

The food from Thai orchid is always hot and delicious! My favorite is the veggie pad Thai level 3 spicy (aka medium) and my husband LOVES the yellow curry. Our other favorites are the veggie spring rolls and the Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea is consistently perfect, and the spring rolls are always perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside and bursting with flavor. We have never eaten inside the restaurant, only gotten takeout, but it is perfect every time. We love this place and recommend it to anyone!!

I called in an order: Tom Kha coconut soup with tofu. When I got there, I confirmed it was vegetarian. Drove home. It was Tom Kha chicken!!! I haven't eaten animals for 58 years. Called them again, drove back, they had it ready. BUT no meaningful apology! How about a free egg roll or something for the inconvenience?!? And wasn't as good as it used to be. Maybe cuz I was mad ;)

My favorite Thai restaurant. I am in love with their shrimp salad and boba thai ice tea (i seriously love it i order it every time we go).Their service is great all the employees here are super friend and assist you fast. The place its self is a nice place just a bit small.

They have the best spring rolls and peanut sauce in town and mango sticky rice.
The rest of the menu that I have tried has tasted better at other placed in town.

This place has some great 80s and 90s vibes which I love. Super clean restaurant and very reasonable pricing. Staff is very friendly and the portions and quality of food is on point. If you like panda express or other Asian cuisine, you're gonna love this place.

I ordered some Pad Thai Noodles to go. Food arrived quickly BUT dish was not what I expected. In all my 40+ years of eating Pad Thai, I've never encountered a soupy sickly sweet vinegar flavored sauce that didn't have a peanut base. The noodles were under cooked to the point of being difficult to bite into and the chicken tasted "off". ALL the Pad Thai I've ever eaten prior to Orchid Thai was dry noodles in a peanut based sauce. To make matters worse, I had diarrhea after eating here. I won't be returning.

Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. All the food came out hot. Waitress was really friendly. Warning spicy (2) is very spicy. We will definitely return when in the area.

Let me start off by saying we used to love this place and we came here all the time. But in the last couple years not once has our food been at the spice level requested. We make sure to specify each time that we just want a little kick, spice level one, that's it! And instead we get food that's so spicy it's torture just to eat it. It's a shame, love the flavor of their food otherwise. We kept giving the restaurant another try but after the last visit not even being able to enjoy the food, we won't be back.

The server (female.sorry i ddnt get her name) VERY nice! My order was to go, i ddnt have to wait long for my order, pot stickers. Fresh hot and DELICIOUS ! mango. Sticky rice, refreshing. Yummy, and the chicken curry, amazing, its a MUST TRY quaint, great atmosphere.

Probably one of the best Thai food places I ever been to. Great service even though there was a lady complaining about how they messed up her order and they proved that they didn't but they're nice to take care of her still. I wouldn't have. Highly recommend this place. Probably will go back tomorrow before I leave the area

This is not real Thai food. This place is not even using the basic Thai ingredients, just a lot of onion. If you really like Thai food this is not a right place for you. I have just one question where all these positive reviews coming from. Never ever again!

This place used to be great. Since the change of ownership the place has taken a nose dive. Spice levels are unreliable. If you choose to eat there you will find it to be dirty. If you order take out the quantity of the meal is far less.

Absolutely the best Thai food in the temecula valley. As authentic as it gets ♡ every dish (I've had many) is delicious, the people are always so friendly, I drive from south temecula just for this place.

You all know I'm a Thai food junkie and Thai Orchid satisfies that itch. Be warned when you say hot, as in 5 out of 5, buckle up! I LOVE very spicy food and Thai Orchid delivers. Wish I had photos, so hungry we dove right in, next time

This restaurant exceeded my expectations on all levels for a delicious and inexpensive Thai dinner. The restaurant is small and basic in decoration but the food is what you come here for. The staff was very friendly and the advantage of a small restaurant is that I was routinely taking care of plus if you need a quick bite they easily accommodated. I tried the spicy pork and it was amazing. It tasted fresh and delicious!

We tried Thai Orchid tonight for the first time, and we could not get over just how delicious everything was! We highly recommend this place!! Our Server Tiff was so attentive and friendly. She explained the menu, and the heat levels. We've been to Thailand and know what authentic Thai food should taste like and I can assure you this is the real deal!! Panang Curry was so aromatic, the perfect blend of spices (level 3 medium spicy), the ratio of chicken and vegetables were just right. Green papaya salad was spicy yet refreshing. We also had the spicy basil chicken with vegetables in peanut sauce which also was wonderful. We also ordered the spicy eggplant with crispy tofu. This is a savory dish with complex flavors. A must try dish! Plus as much rice as you want! This is a small non assuming place in a strip mall. Nothing fancy, but if you are looking for great food, and friendly service, you should check them out! Thursdays are $2.00 off appetizers from 2-4pm. You can be sure that we'll be back again and again!

As an Asian who traveled almost all Thailand places, this salad which I took picture of has the most authentic Thailand flavor I've ever had in US.
Been here twice and this salad (shrimp salad or seafood salad) is definitely a must for you guys!

First Thai restaurant we have visited since moving to Murrieta. Green curry is really good and is actually green. Tom yum soup was a little different, but good too.

Prepandemic, I purchased food often and it was delicious, beautifully arranged, and generously portioned. Post pandemic many changes were imemented that I do not like. They reduced the portions and raised the prices. The chicken egg rolls were thicker, wider and crammed full of stuffing. Now they r very (a third of the previous size) with minimum stuffing. The shrimp fried rice was not as tasty. The shrimp looked like it had not been cooked, and I hesitated to taste it. The rice did not have the golden brown stir fried appearance I was used to and there were an unusually high amount of green peas. This was the 4th time this year I ordered from them and reluctantly will not be returning. I do NOT mind higher prices if the quality is the same or greater, but I do not expect there will be an improvement.

Food was average, but the waitress was so sweet, welcoming, and kind. Felt like family.

Delicious and smoky Pad Thai.

DO NOT eat here!! I placed a to go order of green curry along with a few other dishes (fried rice, drunken noodles, egg rolls). After eating half of the serving of the green curry I found a HUGE piece of plastic wrap inside. How does this even happen!? The other dishes ordered were also subpar. If I could give zero stars I would.

Great new ownership food has better taste

Update: It appears they have new owners, the food portions are smaller and we were missing some ingredients they included in the dishes previously like raisins. Still quite nice, but not a must-have like they were before.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the area! We have never had a bad experience and order take out every few months. The owners are friendly and food is prepared quickly for pick up. It is very sad to see a bad review based on them not being able to find staff in such difficult times. Our food has always tasted fresh and delicious and has so much flavor! It is important to love on our favorite restaurants in the area so that they can stay in the community. Thank you Thai Orchid for always providing delicious food for our family!

Best Thai food in SoCal

Me and my fiancée went here for lunch, and the food was absolutely awful. The fried tofu tasted like dog treats, and the peanut sauce that came with it stunk! The pad Thai, which should be really good was putrid! My fiancée got the BBQ Chicken. It was bland, dry and tasteless. Also the drinks come in a can. 1/5 stars. Don’t eat here.

I love Thai Orchid! They always have delicious food. I enjoy the green curry pineapple fried rice and pad thai.

My wife and I visited in late October 2021 and had an amazing dinner. I had Pad Thai and my wife had a papaya salad and curry salmon. All three items were as fresh as we could hope for and the flavors were amazing! We will definitely be making the trek back here despite living over 30 miles away!

Shorthanded..so no dining in yet. Very clean and neat. Very friendly. Food was average.

I have been coming here for 5 years and the food is always good and staff is always friendly and helpful. They have also carried my food/take out for me to my car when my hands are full with my kiddos. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

Born in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Raised in Chiang Rai. Pad Thai isn't my to go Thai plate. However; this place... hands down has the BEST Pad Thai dish. I ordered level 3 spicy. The texture of the noodles are amazing. The flavors of the sauce are phenomenal, you can tell they use authentic ingredients. I will make sure to come back and try the other items on the menu.

The only reason I am giving it one star is because I can never get through to them anymore. I drove all the way out there one evening and was told they were too busy to do my order. This is Monday night I am having the same problem I am not going to drive there but they do not answer their phone. The food is wonderful, don’t get me wrong but they are losing business for sure because of this.

Good thai food, ordered chicken pad thai and yellow chicken curry. Cashier was nice and friendly. I order quickly and I don't have to wait. Left the restaurant for 10 minutes to get some sandwich next door and came back and my order was done. We enjoyed both of them, for sure future visit we will come here. A++++++++.

Best Thai food in town.

Thai Orchid is absolutely delicious. Clean restaurant with plenty of delicious meal options ranging from soups, salads, noodles, curries, and lunch specials (from 11am-3pm/M-F). This location maybe small, but man do their plates pack such big/bold flavors. My husband ordered the Pad Saew with beef and was asked how spicy he would like it on a scale of 0-5. He asked for a level 3 and loved it. He said it had a sweet and spicy flavor that he very much enjoyed. Now as for me, I'm allergic to shellfish and tree nuts. So I asked our waiter if the Pad Thai had either to which he responded that it did have fish sauce (typically containing shellfish), but was quick to offer to order it with no fish sauce and said he would make sure the cook did not put fish sauce. He was so kind and made me feel at ease. The Pad Thai was scrumptious. I ordered it at a level 4 of spiciness and it certainly had a kick. Along with that we also ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and that was very tasty. There was not a single thing that we disliked. The food was made fresh and brought out to us piping hot. We were able to enjoy a nice conversation, watch some news on the television and even joke around with the staff. They made us feel very welcomed. Lastly, we ordered the Mango Sticky Rice. Oh man! You should definitely try it. The Mango was perfect as was the sticky rice. We will definitely be back. Several people were there for lunch when we arrived and even more people placed orders for pick up. This restaurant has an A for a good reason.

Thry have great prices it's family owned and operated. The owner is a sweetheart he always goes out of his way to make his customers happy. They have great LUNCH SPECIALS😉👍.

Wow! What a surprise to find Thai Orchid in a shopping center in Temecula. I'm a Thai food lover, and Orchid exceeded my expectations for authentic, delicious Thai. I dined on the chicken Phad Thai - "if they can't make phad thai, they're not a real Thai restaurant". It was perfectly seasoned and spiced. I will return to Orchid on my next visit to Temecula.

Very good yellow curry. Asked for 5 spiciness out of 5. Not as spicy as I expected but nice hear. Appetizers were good as was the hot pot of soup. Would definitely eat here again.

Very pleasant place to go. They have a TV if you would like to dine alone and watch a basketball game. I love their coconut juice (which comes straight from a coconut) and yellow curry. The food is very filling, and the restaurant is very clean. I am definitely coming back!

Nice quiet and friendly place to have a great meal. They were quick to get us seated and take our order, as well as getting our food out. Frequently were checked on to see if we needed anything. The drunken noodles and chicken satay salad were fantastic. Reasonably priced will come here again.

The food was good (the dish that I had) however there was a huge mix-up on the orders with the rest of my family's plates on multiple accounts even after confirming with the waiter if he knew what we all wanted. I'm not sure if I'll be back here to give it a 2nd go round.

My family and myself often go to have lunch or even dinner. Lately the experience there has been horrible. We’ve ate here for 4 years now. And yes the food is good. But the service sucks. They don’t listen when your ordering your food. We are definitely going to have to find a new Thai food place. I am definitely very disappointed.

We went for the lunch special that came with egg rolls (for vegetarians), otherwise a shrimp appetizer was included. Because we usually order a vegetarian version of pad kee mao, we did that here, too. The portion was fairly generous for lunch - certainly enough to need a take-out box. The egg rolls were pretty good - probably not home-made, though. The pad kee mao was tasty; we decided that we would enjoy it again sometime. The restaurant is not too large and has a bright atmosphere - very comfortable. Two different people waited on us and both were very cordial and accommodating. A good variety is offered for the lunch specials which are $7.50 or $7.99. We'll be back here again.
