We are open for Take-Out and Delivery!
Aesthetically it's a very beautiful place.
Lovely location
But if you want that authentic Thai flavor this place is not it.
Flavors are good just not what it traditionally should be.
Went in for a bowl of shrimp Tom kha soup
And an iced ginger tea
And the tea was great! I loved it
The soup not so much and for a wapping $20 I got 4 pieces of shrimp and a bunch of carrot pieces. The mushrooms are canned. I've never had carrots in a tom kha soup but there is always a first time. Not a huge fan of this particular combo.
Soup flavor was off and no white rice came with the soup.
Want more of that authentic, delicious, home flavor? Miss pad Thai down the street is the place for you!! You're scared of spices and flavors? Rice and spice is the place for you.
I kept being asked if I wanted my check mid meal and I was only there for 40 mins total. After asking me if I was ready for my check the third time, they just stopped asking and brought me my check. Overall not that great.
I've not been here for a couple of years. The food is good, the tom yum gai soup is my go-to, and it did not disappoint π. The waitress Aiyana was super friendly and very attentive. We also had Pad see ew, and the beef was tender. Basil fried rice π crispy mango chicken π. Atmosphere hmm... well, there are a little bit of cobwebs and possible mold, I noticed on the way out π«£ just don't look up. π€·ββοΈ
We ordered a pick up order for the tom kha soup, the tom yum soup (with a brown rice side), and the chicken pad thai. It was all really delicious! I used to love getting the tom kha and pad thai from a restaurant up in Sacramento, and have had such a hard time finding any I enjoyed as much since, and this was just as delicious. I enjoy that we were able to ask for the soup spice levels to be adjusted. The only thing is, I did need to use the rice in the tom kha soup as it had less chunks than the tom yum we got. But overall just a wonderful meal, and it was still piping hot by the time we got home!
I was in town and I came here for some Thai food and man let me tell you I was not disappointed. Everything we got was delicious. We wanted to try a couple plates so we did. Service was also great the waitress switched us to a slight bigger table so we would be comfortable eating. The food was great as well as the service. The place was also very clean 5/5 I highly recommend.
I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!! THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!
This review on 12/20/24 based is not on the food which was okayish this time, but the horrible lady at the counter who refused to give me my food. I placed a pick up order and waited for it to be made.
When I arrived, I told her I was there for a pick up and she asked me what items I had. I told her my name and what I ordered and she told me they don't have food for me. I told her that that's impossible because I have ordered from here a million times and there is no other restaurant by this name. I showed her my receipt and told her my food times FOUR TIMES and she still claimed that she didn't have my food. I told her I was not leaving because I was charged $31+ on my card and am not leaving empty handed. Turns out she had my food the ENTIRE time (literally bagged and ready to go in front of her) and just because my full name wasn't on the order she wasn't going to give me my food.
I'm not sure who that lady was, but I've never seen her before. After I got home I called the store to see when their manager would get it and they said around 8PM. I waited to call and then when I asked to speak to the manager it sounded like THAT SAME LADY from earlier. So I asked to verify if she was the manager and she then proceeded to get rude and hostile with me saying "why are you questioning me, I know my rights, I don't need to verify anything to you." When all I was trying to do is share about my hostility from the wait staff earlier. The "manager" hung up in my face and so I will NEVER be ordering from here ever again!! Such a shame because I thought this place was decent but Miss Pad Thai is a lot better and with a nicer staff it's also on Alessandro and will be the only Thai place getting my money from here on in!! I will NEVER recommend or spend another penny at this establishment ever again!! I wish I knew I way to complain further because the lack of human decency for a paying customer is sickening!! I'll be making sure everyone who I ever recommended your establishment to I will tell them never mind!!
Food is always fresh and yummy. My favorite is the street curry with noodles and chicken spring rolls.
Food us great the customer service sucks
Pat sew with carrots super oily no flavor .
Shrimp soup taste more like tomatoe soup
Worst thaifood i ever had period
Best Thai in town.. I have been going to Rice & Soice for years and recently tried others in town and was disappointed in 3 different places so no need to look any further.
I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!! THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!

I have been eating at rice and spice for years...even after the many price increases. Recently, the food has been sub par. The food is salty and lacks the love it once had. We had 2 orders of pad thai. My pad thai today had about 5 bean sprouts and was very fishy tasting. My husband's pad thai was not fishy, had about 10 bean sprouts, and 2 pieces of chicken. Our curry fried rice had 1 piece of eggplant and was extremely salty. Ironically, the curry tasted soggy for lack of a better word. The veggies were one of my favorite parts about this establishment, along with thier flavors...but now, I'm not receiving either of those. I feel like, loyalty was taken advantage of and the food is suffering as a result.

An old-time favorite place when we were still living in the area way back 7 plus years ago to go back and find they're still in existence is a testament of an OK place for a Thai Restaurant where offering an authentic cuisine.
Nice place. Food is not authentic though. Must have changed owners because this used to have delicious and authentic Thai food.
Excellent
Good food, but tiny portions.
This place always has customers so we decided to finally stop in and pick up some food. Wow were we shocked by the food.
First dish was the BBQ pork fried rice. The rice was hard and I'm not sure what about the pork was bbq? I was expecting maybe a special seasoning or cooking preparation but nope it's regular sautΓ©ed pork. For nearly 20 dollars I was expecting something more.
Second dish was far more disappointing. The pad see ewe with pork. First they used the same pork as the BBQ pork and I specifically asked on the phone if it was the same pork and they laughed and said no. They clearly used a frozen vegetable medley as the broccoli was still soaked with water. But the worst offense of this dish? They burned it! The whole dish tasted like ASH!!! I immediately threw it away!
Lastly as the poke in the eye at the end of dinner was the mango sticky rice. A personal favorite of mine and this was the worst version. Mango was sour and unripe and not much of it and the sticky rice was old and hard.
Overall wow it must've been a bad night since it was so busy but I can't really excuse it. I waited 45 minutes for really bad food. I would've waited longer for something that tasted decent. AVOID!!!

the pumpkin π spice Thai tea β and the hot passion fruit tea is AMAZING π
Great food, and fast, pleasant service!
Good options for Thai for. I tried the yellow curry, and the Thai omelet. Both were good.
The pad Thai is very good. We got the shrimp pad thai, also fried rice with spring rolls, very crispy not much sweet/sour sauce came with it, one dissapointing thing was the teas, green and passion fruit tasted like perfume was poured in drink, very bad
We ordered a pick up order for the tom kha soup, the tom yum soup (with a brown rice side), and the chicken pad thai. It was all really delicious! This place is a staple in Moreno Valley even after moving out of the city I still come back here to enjoy the Thai tea and the crispy curry chicken! Well done Rice & Spice!
Great food, very consistent, and GREAT service. It's just so small inside.
Huge portions great food
Been coming here over 12+ years and haven't had any real issues. But the last couple months since I've gone I've had the rough experience with the manager the heavier set young lady.
Today I came in with a friend of mine, it was his first time trying this place.
The server we had (heavier set young lady) took our order and told us the crème cheese ragoons weren't good and she couldn't taste the crème cheese like at Cheesecake Factory,
So we opted with the chicken wontons appetizer instead and garlic black pepper chicken for the main course.
Food arrived and wontons still didn't arrive
She told us sorry about the wait the girl cooking them is new . No big deal.
They finally arrive and I eat a few and I bite right into a thick long hair fried inside my wonton absolutely disgusting. At this point I lose my appetite and I nicely tell the sever about the issues and even showed her . Instead of taking responsibility and really apologizing. She tells me sorry but you still have to pay for the other meal you started to eat. Mind you I ate half of it and got completely turned off to find out i was eating someone's hair. I refused to pay for anything after her attitude , she made a whole scene and argued with me about how I need to pay since I ate. And instead of being understanding of how nasty that is . She was worried about the money instead. Mind you the play was $13 . It's not about the cost it's principle .
I've brought over 100^ people here with my reviews and positive
Feedback,
I came to this place like plenty times before to enjoy my meal and be satisfied. I didn't want to eat someone's hair but unfortunately I did , and a simple "sorry but you need to pay for the half meal you ate" is a joke . She basically tried to make it seem as if I came here hoping to find a hair in my food and get a free meal.
This place has fallen off sadly , they lost a customer with a huge following . I wouldn't have posted this but the young lady said she didn't care if I did.
I would recommend trying . βThis gardenβ 10x better
The food is good. The prices are okay too. Parking can be a little challenging. The dinning area is small yet, the servers do a great job of making you feel comfortable.
Just stopped by with the husband. Food was great, service was so friendly and fast. Definitely coming back again. The portions were good, and good amount of meat on noodles and rice.
Food was really good. Service was ok. Servers were working really hard but unfortunately they were understaffed. First person in my group got their plate but about 15 minutes passed before i got mine. I would not go back.
Love this place!! Service is great, food is great and they are quick!!
This place called us by surprise. We were looking for something to eat and thought the name was catchy. Enjoy the food the only thing the area was small.
Been coming to this place for many years. I'm happy to say that service and food hasn't changed. They're still amazing. I've worked in many Thai restaurants in my early years and my mom is a Thai chef. Hands down this is my favorite Thai restaurant besides my mom's cooking π
2 stars because just like most Thai restaurants the Curry is watered down!!! it's supposed to be thick with more flavor!! the rest of the food is pretty good they could have better quality shrimp to. This place gets pretty busy, to bad most people don't know what more traditional Thai food taste like.
Great hidden spot. Only reason I still dine here because the dishes are delicious.
Service needs to improve. Please Serve water and have our utensils ready before food arrives. I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
I love peanuts in my pad thai and the to go order did not have any. π’ Other than that it was good!
Street curry is extremely good. Awesome little restaurant.
Great service. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. The food is very fresh and yummy. Great place for takeout.
Itβs sad how this place used to be one of our favorite Thai food place but not no more after todayβ¦my daughter ordered the pa Thai lunch special when she got her food it was very salty barely any sauce in the noodles she ask for a teriyaki sauce for her Gayosa and the waiter said there thereβs a charge for that he never said how much but that teriyaki sauce charge was $2 really!!! I ordered a chicken red curry and the waiter brought me a beef red curry. He had a really bad attitude I just wanted to get out of there. Thatβs how bad my experience was never going back.
A bit pricy but good! The decor is amazing, the fish tank looks a bit trashy but that's my personal opinion. Food is amazing however! I personally think it's worth the price. I suggest the omelette with fish sauce.
Food did not seem fresh.noodles were stiff
The food here was delicious. Absolutely no complaints with the food, but the waitress we had was pretty bad. Attitude when we walked in, super loud when bussing the tables, and at the end while we were still there we watched her get into her car and leave without any handoff to another waiter.
Definitely recommend the red curry with chicken and the strawberry lemonade
If I could recommend this to anyone outside of MoVal I would. It's a unique taste but not in the slightest is it disappointing. I've had people that don't like curry try this place and they're addicted. Check it out. Worth the try at least once. Crispy Chicken Curry is my go to here. For the Orange Chicken lovers, their Orange Chicken is phenomenal. Enjoy!
Best Thai food in SoCal. Their vegan options are extremely delicious. Pad Kee Mao is a must try!
Rice and Spice is a Moreno Valley staple! The food is so flavorful and the service is always excellent. Alyssa is an amazing server who is very attentive and nice.
Boat noodle is no good.the worst i ever had.
The dish I ordered did not taste the same. When I first visited this location. The food was good.
Share the delicious Thai cuisine. We love spicy noodles and fried rice for every day. The atmosphere is excellent and the Thai is beautiful.
Honestly speaking, the food is not perfect, just like lots of other Asian restaurants. Cause the truth is hard to find a real Asian food in a no Asian residential area. But itβs still good, one is better than zero
Not bad. Good selection, fair price. A little cramped.
Great food but very small building and sometimes smells like a bathroom
Ordered on-line the Prik-king plate heat #3. DELISH! front desk person very friendly. Cozy place.
Recommend: yes
All of the servrs very friendly. Food was good
Maybe donβt have a special request selection if youβre not going to actually listen? I ordered through Uber eats and didnβt receive the 4 forks I requested. I only got 2 when weβre a party of 4 so I guess 2 of us are supposed to eat with our hands and you didnβt include the soy sauce either. I also noticed less food than usual donβt know what happened but usually this place is the bomb.
One of a must go thai resto
One of the best Thai places I've been to. I always get the Kai Kua. I have compared this dish with other Thai establishments and it still has the best taste at Rice & Spice. One of my favorite restaurants when I want take out.
Love the yellow curry. Always a good lunch spot.
The food is good here but the dining room is small and the service kinda meh. Only took one star off.
Very basic restaurant, however, it is a little pricey due to the location and setup.
Love this place. Love the fried rice and Thai iced tea!
Updated review: I never order to go because I have bad experiences but when I ordered to go here it was amazing! They packaged my entree and rice in foil so it didnβt melt the package and all the juices were safe from spilling everywhere in the bag. They have large Thai teas now that come in a to go cup so you can take it with you when you leave. The cup comes with a cute cap to plug its drinking hole, itβs adorable because itβs also the shape of a heart and I love my Thai tea! Always fast service even when the place is packed idk how they do it but I love them for it. Still my favorite Thai spot ever. They let you substitute for fried rice or brown rice on every entree something you donβt get at any other Thai restaurant. I appreciate that the most!
The manager is very rude and would not add pork to the house fried rice and when i told her i alwazy got it this way she hung up the phone...i awazy come here...i will never spend another penny here...
Authentic spicy Thai-food, made by authentic spicy Thai people, I like the bbq beef with egg noodles.
I'm visiting from south carolina and I tell you what there will be repeat business from me awesome food and the workers are awesome too
The manager was extremely rude the food was mediocre no parking available and the place is kind of a dump I think I saw a cockroach on the floor.
Our 1st experience was amazing. Service was great. This time not so good. Today 4.29.23 this time we brought extra people to enjoy the food. My daughter ordered a dish, she didn't like it, I didn't like the soggy squishy texture of the noodles, my daughter asked for something else. They wanted to charge her half of another meal. Then my daughter said just give me my food back, they trashed it, and DID NOT OFFER A REFUND. I am so disappointed. I go to a Dr apt near by every week, they would have HAD a regular, plus I recommended them to my physical therapist office. I'll tell them to not go. I paid almost $30 for a dish of noodles and 4 shrimp. Plus a drink. Won't go back.
Food was good, would have preferred more chili -spicy. Great staff, enjoyed everything we ordered very fresh ingredients.
I've always got the pineapple curry from this location but I got it today and for some reason the curry was so unbalanced. What I mean is that it's always had a perfect mix of spice & sweetness, veggies and fruit and not to much chicken. This time the curry that was served to me was overly spicy, with more chicken and less veggies and fruit . You can definitely tell there's a different cook now. Idk if I'll be back . I was very disappointed with food.
Delicious food but a bit costly.
I went this weekend after church.. me and the family spent over a $112 on different stuff but they gave me a lot of food and it was πon point.. might try it again just to see if it's right again π.π.
We love the food here, really tasty!
However, the prices are through the roof since last time we ate here.
Our order was missing rice too.
2 startesr and 2 entrees for $73!!
The jungle curry is heaven in a bowl.
Small and creepy restaurant if you plan to eat there but i advise you to order and take away. Their fried rice is delicious, i love their booba teas.
Service when ordering is great
This was the closest thai food I could get. The wait for take out was over 35 minutes. The staff taking orders was very impersonal and quick to move me along. I ordered and waited for my meal. The food was good. I had the yellow curry with rice and an order of the lettuce wrapped chicken. I enjoyed it but I will try amd find another restaurant next time.
Nice people and calm atmosphere but the food didn't have much flavor.
Best customer service in town. Polly & Brianna were extremely helpful in helping me find a dish. Then they kept checking up on me to make sure I was good. The food is incredible as well!!!
Food was good but very pricey. For two of us we paid $56. They have a honey tea that was absolutely delicious!!! Worth the visit!!!
BEST FOOD in Moreno Valley great customer service. Very clean place if you have not try IT STOP IN you will not be disappointed 5βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ food is super fresh
Food is pretty good, I just didn't like that you have to order and pay before you can get seated. So you need to stand at the front looking at the menu to decide on what you want. Definitely go over the menu before you arrive if you haven't ate their before.
This place is soooooooo good. Originally going to go to another Thai place but it was closed and found this one instead. So happy we did. Definitely my new favorite Thai spot. Ordered the pad see ew and the tom yum lemongrass soup with shrimp. Definitely recommend that combo. Also, service was so amazing. The waitress was super attentive and the cashier was very kind too.
Delicious food and great service
Good place
The food is good although the tom yum pot has gotten smaller and the pad Thai was kind of sticking together. I tried a new mango crispy chicken which was good. The prices have gone up pretty significantly with the inflation.
Wow! Surprisingly very good food
Best Thai food in the area! Everything is delicious, and the online ordering system is perfectly easy to use.
Went in to try to find the holy grail of Tom yum just like the one from ocha classic in LA. Although this one was not it, it was fairly close over all it was 8/10 and customer service is 10/10
Unimpressed.
The flavor was good but the quality of the vegetables was lacking. They were too soft and honestly seemed frozen.
Horrible customer service!
They don't wait the tables like they used to. You order from the front desk and then sit down. Not a nice sit down experience like it used to be. I think most of the business is delivery now so they don't care as much about dine in customers.
Rice & Spice Thai Cuisine is a very famous restaurant in our area.
Food was okay. I ordered online and (been here many times and THEY never have your order on time, so if youβre in a hurry do not order here) my online order said they would have food ready at 7:09 and I decided to give them more time and arrived at 7:23pm. I went in and they did not have my order ready (typical) but why really hurt me was that they had no empathy in regards that my order wasnβt ready until 7:50pm!! Almost a WHOLE hour later. When I asked to speak with someone in regards to the time management the person in charge said sorry and waved me goodbye. Like , I was so shakened up. Iβm not one to complain just let them know like hey, thatβs a little stretched out and man, that sucks. This was a special place for me since I had outings here with my late mother. Soo sad about their behavior towards me. Lack of empathy.
Always great!!!! Always fresh!!!! Always busy!!!! That speaks for itself. I have been a customer for years and never have had any issues.
We have been enjoying their food for years with zero complaints. Consistently great food. They can get busy at times but they are obviously working hard. Seems like a bunch of Karenβs in the reviews.
Best food in Moreno Valley hands down
Love the food here
Amazing service ,amazing food -highly recommend the panang curry and sticky mango rice, issues with phone service best to order in
The food was outstanding the customer service was great
Menu had no prices on it. The food Pad Thai had a weird ketchup base that made me and my husband sick after a few bites. Servers were very nice. However the food was gross.
Food was good. Prices seemed high. Strange "no waitress to the table policy" to take orders. At the orders desk, Door Dashers are prioritized over dine in customers, interrupting us making our order through a plexiglass barrier. Terrible system for ordering and picking up orders.
Outstanding.!
Been patronizing this establishment with no complaints until my last visit to order take out. I ordered Shrimp Fried rice which I alway so. It was awful...greasy and five shrimp sat on top. Horrible taste. I also ordered Beef Fried Rice...the only thing missing was the shoe strings from the beef leather served. Oh and the smell was horrid. Threw it away that was the only solution I had. It stunk up our house. So, needless to say with me it only takes that one time and they hit the mark.. it was horrible.
Absolutely the best Thai restaurant I've ever had. The food is made with quality and is very filling. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. Try it out!
Really good Thai food! I ordered the following: Pad Thai Chicken, Pad Thai Shrimp, Pineapple Fried Rice, Crab Fried Rice. I highly recommend the Pad That and the Crab Fried Rice, definitely my new favorite spot in the IE! I had a small order mishap but the Front End (I believe her name is Tally) helped me with understanding of the issue. She is awesome! 5 stars all the way!
The staff was super nice, friendly and very obliging. With that said, it was our 1st time there and for a first impression it wasn't that great. Food is ok. What prompted the low stars was the following:
Initial silverware had old rice stuck to it. Entrees were brought but w/ no individual serving plates. Had to flag down the help before we could eat. Once we had a plate, then realized there was no serving utensils. Had to flag down the help again. At the end of the meal, when they brought the "to go" containers, one of them appeared to be used.
We won't be back
Great tasting food! Will be definitely going many more times!
Very good large portions excellent
Honestly it was just okay. It's a take out joint rather than a dine-in. I ordered a Pad Thai and another noodle dish and 2 cokes came out to a whopping 37 dollars. Crazy. The spice level was a joke. I asked if the spice was really spicy and the counter lady said people have complained. Yeah, probably for non Asians lol. I took her word for it and the medium spice was a complete joke. The portion wasn't as generous either. I would skip this place.
First time here. Pad Thai had so much flavor. Thai tea was really good.
This place is terrible. Food was not fresh or tasty. Everything tasted like reheated frozen food. Our table was over $100 for one soup, orange chicken, white rice, calamari, and fried rice. I enjoy Thai food so price is never an issue, but this Thai food was a scam. They never even served it on plates or bowls, everything was served on to-go boxes β the pictures show the presentation with the tinfoil. Itβs a shame because I really wanted Thai food and this place gave us a Walmart version. I miss my mom and pop shop in Beaumont. For those who are willing to travel and eat DELICIOUS THAI FOOD, visit Thai Orchid in Beaumont. Hands down, the absolute best food every person should try ( Thai orchid in Beaumont).
Overall, donβt eat here. Do yourself a favor and try Thai Orchid in Beaumont.
Customer service and food was outstanding. Staff was every polite and attentive.
1st time here definitely my last Horrible fried rice no carrots no sesame seeds no flavor The color is horrible I'm white and I can make better fried rice waste of money
Ordered the mad catfish which was expired, which was noted in the taste and hinted in the wrinkled bell peppers served with the catish which suggest that it is also past its expiration date. The orange chicken was great, however. Though the staff seemed friendly, we didn't really feel welcomed.
Good
Good food
Yellow Chicken Curry was amazingly delicious. I will definitely be going back to try some new items.
Down to a 2 star from 5 because the food is good but they no longer have the lunch special so only full sized entrees, they don't post prices, and no more table service so they give you take out trays in a bag that you can eat at the table if they have space. They also seem under staffed. No longer worth the weird parking situation.
Not a fan of the post covid management style. Order at the counter and eat out of to go boxes? No lunch specials? But they have deserts now if you want to pay 8 dollars for a slice of Costco cake that costs 15 for the whole thing. This place is now a joke of what it used to be. Cannot recommend in it's current state at all. This used to be a 5 star location for me.
Food is still great, but I don't know what they are smoking behind the counter.
Iβve been to most of the Thai restaurants in the Moreno Valley area and Rice & Spice still takes the crown! If you love Thai cuisine, I guarantee that anything you order you will surely enjoy. I would definitely recommend stopping by to try their food!
Terrible.
Management is a joke. The place is severely understaffed, causing us to wait nearly an hour just for a soup and 3 dishes. Richard did his best to serve us, though.
The restaurant allows you to "dine in", but what that really means is you're placing a take out order and eating in the restaurant. Plates, bowls, napkins, and utensils are all plastic and are sized for children. No table service.
The tom khai soup is basically hot coconut milk with some mushrooms. No flavor. The menu has no prices listed so once you're done ordering it ends up being over $70 for this trash.
Food is good...Service is so so...I always say I won't go back cause of the Service, but the food is good...sooo....
Great food. Service was a little slow but ok
Glass noodles are really good
Food is still good but prices are up about 3 dollars a meal, but it's still worth it
Food was delicious but you have to order and then seat yourself and then pick up your food from the front. This isnβt a normal restaurant vibe anymore due to the way you have to order everything first and once you do get your food itβs all in to go containers and not on actual plates. The pricing was ridiculous in my opinion. The menu you look at to place your order has all the prices blocked out so you canβt even see how much youβre paying. I got bbq pork fried rice and a coke (can) and I paid $20. Ridiculous.
The food was not that great and the prices are bot listed and we payed to much for what we order I meal two appetizer and a small drink $40
