Authentic Thai Cuisine in Monterey Park city
Came during lunch, plenty of parking at the back, and no waiting to get a table. Food is more on the sour side. Pad thai is more sweet compare to most other places I have eaten. Clam is very flavorful. Red curry with pineapple is more on the sour spicy side, not as sweet creamy spicy. Bbq meet is good.
I had a pleasure of dining in one of the most respectful, polite, cozy establishments in a very long time tonight the food was divine & affordable. staff was polite, genuine, not in a rush to get you out. I live in Koreatown and the establishments out here could really learn the lesson in being appreciative to your guests & from the beauty and elegance of this restaurant and people inside of it,
Came for dinner. The service was top notch. The restaurant is cute, inviting, and well lit. There’s ample parking and entrance from the parking lot as well as from the main st. We asked for medium heat and it could’ve been spicier. We were just cautious. All dishes were delicious. Loved the bowl size soup. More than enough for 2 to share. They gave us a rice pudding to close off our meal- delicious.
This is a beautiful peaceful place to dine...casual yet upscale...my first time here...Thai iced coffee strong good sweet and came in a to go cup, I shoulda asked for a refill and taken it with me on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Open spacious seating. I ordered the lunch special Pineapple fried rice...my friend had the spicy curry fish....it came with choice of soup or salad...and two friend won tons. And a tapioca dessert. Big thumbs up. Nice fast service. Highly recommend.
It’s a very casual dine-in Thai restaurant that serve authentic food, well, based on the menu because I ordered BBQ Chicken 😅. Either way, the food was good and it came around $23.
The chicken I ordered had a good sauce glazed on top and it also can with rice, a fried snack, a salad (or soup), and a sweet sauce you can pour on your meal which went very well with the rice. After I finished they offered me a small sweet bean soup as dessert for free which was also good.
For drinks I ordered a Thai iced tea w/ boba to go along with my meal and a Thai iced coffee to go; both were very good.
Next time I’ll try to order something more ambitious than something from the appetizer section.
Edit: Around year after, I went back to this place and tried the shrimp cakes. Beautiful, this shrimp tasted good and the bread was very crispy. The black rice pudding is still my favorite.
Food very good, even order mild, expect no spice

Great Thai food, and great service! Can't go wrong here. Could use an update inside, but it's still clean and prices are reasonable. We go every Christmas year for lunch.
It’s alright, nothing crazy. Middle of the pack thai food
The food was delicious and had an authentic atmosphere.
We love coming here
First time eating here. I had the lunch special. Chicken and mushroom sweet and sour soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken wontons, and black sticky rice dessert. The food is amazing. I'll be back, thank you!
The quality of male waiters is particularly poor, serving guests with dirty hands.
Delicious food

Excellent food and service!
Good food at average price. Friendly service.
Love this place. They even gave us complementary dessert. They were so kind and kept our waters full. The food was perfect
The food and service are always excellent.
We got the Mussamun Curry, Thai Paradise Beef, and mango sticky rice. The Paradise Beef was so good and comes with a delicious cilantro green sauce. The other dishes were great, too. We ordered online and got a text when the order was ready. There was plenty of street parking right in front of the restaurant. The prices look expensive but the portions were WAY bigger than we expected, so we will be enjoying leftovers for days!
Good food and the waiter was cool 😎
First time going there. We Went to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered a few plates. One was a special pork dish. It was pork chicharones. Not soft pork meat. We didn't send it back, so it would not get thrown out. Husband was ok with it. It was way too hard for me. Ordered the orange shrimp. Was good. The only thing was it had the tails on them. My mom's favorite cashew dish. Mine was the chicken mushroom lemon soup. Definitely will be back
Okay
This place is far from Paradise. Atmosphere and service were OK, but the food was a notch above bad. Drive about a mile north to Thai House … also on Atlantic Bl in MPK

Excelente sabor y buen servicio
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!
Pad see ew was really good. Pineapple fried rice was a disappointment. Shrimp was off tasting.
Great food!
So far my favorite Thai restaurant
Servers were super friendly
Me encanto este restaurant 👌lo recomiendo ampliamente
Great service here, quickest I’ve ever been served at a restaurant, and not at the expense of quality. Had some delicious pad thai.
Favorite Thai Spot the service is always great and very friendly
I love this place!
Great experience with wonderful food thank you so much
Always the best!! Thai Paradise steak and their green sauce is the best. Paradise rice, pad thai, Paradise shrimp. Simply the best!!! Been coming here for 25 years. City of Monterey Park.
Food was ok. Our server was amazing and very friendly.
Great service and great food
All the foods we ordered were good, especially the soft shell crab, that's why I ordered another one for to-go. The servers were very attentive for all your requests. Too bad I wasn't able to take pictures as we were so hungry and just dig in right away.
Good Authentic Thai Food and Service!
Best thai food I've Ever had! Must try for anyone. Great food and service
I got the Chicken Coconut soup and it was delightful. You have to order rice separately. Tangy and creamy from the coconut. I also tried the dishes my friends ordered: a beef fried rice that had a lot of warming spices and a pad Thai that had good balanced flavors. Staff are courteous. Nice restaurant that has stood the test of time.
Found this little gem of a Thai restaurant. We ordered fried rice, Tom Yum soup,l with shrimp, pad thai noodles with ground pork and spicy basil chicken.
Everything was served hot and fresh!
We came here for lunch and ordered 4 dishes: Pad Thai, Pad se'ew, Pineapple fried rice, and Spicy fried rice. Pad Thai was the best among those, and the least favorite was Spicy fried rice which was quite bland. They're considered lunch special in the menu (11am to 3 pm), so we were served together with fried wonton, soup (or salad), and small deserts in the last course. I have to say this meal were so affordable - we paid only around $11/dish and got all of that. Not to mention that the service was great and nothing to complain at this point. Plus, the restaurant itself is spacious, plenty of seats and has pretty nice decoration inside and outside. I would definitely come back frequently if I were living around this area but I am a tourist :(
The food quality here was excellent! Our Calamari appitizer was served warm and delicious! Our Whole Fish, Spicy Clam with vegetables, Steamed Green vegetable, and Thai Rice all served hot, tasty and delicious 😋
One of the best thia food in LA I would 100% recommend coming here for anything like a family gathering. The pad thia is delicious. The thia tea is so good and then the red bean dessert or the sticky mango rice is so sweet. I would 100 percent tell people to eat here

Delicious food and the service is incredible. They gave us a complimentary dessert soup in the end which I thought was a really nice touch.
Parking and location are great too. Will come again 👍🏼
Get the stuff chicken!!!
Great place to have lunch, lunch specials were delicious and portions were spot on. I really enjoyed the pad Thai I ordered.
If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine, this is the place to go. The menu features all the classics, from pad Thai and green curry to tom yum soup and mango sticky rice. Each dish is bursting with flavor and expertly spiced, making for a truly satisfying meal.
I went in for a pick-up. Mango sticky rice. It's excellent. Rice is flavored coconut, served with coconut cream and slices sweet mango
Food is delicious, my boys love coming here and you really can just cover your eyes and point to annnnything, will be delicious!
I won't give them perfect because they skimp here and there and also have a bit of their supplies in sight BUT the food and service are worth it all.
I love their curry's myself and the pad thai....yuuummy
My boys love that you can get super spicy on anything and their soups. I get tofu for my one year old with no spice, she eats everything.
Very good food!
This is a five star restaurant. We came for Mother’s Day and ordered 4 entrees. Literally everything was perfect. We didn’t take pictures we just saw the food, it looked amazing, and dug right in lol. I highly recommend ordering the striped sea bass if you’re sharing with a small party (we were 3) or not ordering much else. It’s big. It comes with a sour-ish sauce with several kinds of onions mixed in. SO GOOD. The next winner was the Thai Paradise Beef. This was nicely seared and comes with an amazing sauce which I would buy if they bottled it up. The green curry with chicken at medium spicy was a perfect level of spiciness for us. The kind of spicy that if you only ate the curry it could be too much but since we ate family style it was perfect. The chicken in the curry was surprisingly soft and not rubbery. We also ordered the ong choy. It’s a classic, nothing too unique but it was well cooked so that the stems were not overly soft and still had a bite. Our server was friendly, checked in on us just enough, and quickly got us our check at the end.
The best food hands down that i have ever had. Beautiful. Will definetely be a return customer.
We've been going here for years. Love this place everything we've ever had there has been delicious. Highly recommended..
Yummy thai food that always satisfy cravings. I ordered the thai paradise beef, fish fillet and tom kha gai. Nothing beats having their tom kha gai on a cold day. Their green sauce that comes with meats is delicious with hints of lime and it’s like a drug. Their tom kha gai is basically a chicken coconut soup served with tons of mushrooms! If you want to try something new, try this!
Carpet was dirty looking.
Food had no taste, too much sauce. Server was pleasant.
Local favorite! The food is always good and fresh with friendly service.
Love their lunch special- soup, 2 fried wontons, rice, main course, and sweet red bean dessert for about $13; just a little bit higher than a fast-food restaurant combo but you get all freshly made healthy food!
Noticed there has been a price increase in the past few months, but it is covid time, and its very difficult for family-owned restaurants to keep running, please do support local and dine local!!
ランチは良心的な値段で嬉しい😃💕
Thai Paradise is awesome. Great place for lunch with a pretty big lunch special menu. From what I can tell it’s 7 days a week including weekends.
We got the pad Thai and basil chicken with a skewers plate as an app. The pad Thai was my favorite. Tasty. Seasoned.
The service was great. The entire staff is friendly and there are plenty of tables. Parking is fine with a multi level parking structure behind the restaurant.
Overall: Will return for some Thai food.
This is my go-to Thai place. Always consistently good food and good service, for more than 10 years now.
Great choices, awesome service. Didn't stress out looking for parking.
Food only ok not great like before.. I been on this restaurant before covi19 many time..
Now the price is expensive.. I understand that.. just only one funny.. if you do wear the mask 😷 you can walks 🚶♂️ in. Even you have fully vaccine.. oh wow..
I believe I'm not come back again.. Even I like the thai food.. ( in L.A food just ok or service is ok ummmm ...
View after some rain.
Tòo expensive!!!
The food is So So
And service is bad!
Ordered naked shrimp and all I see are sliced of cabbages!!!
Nice atmosphere good food and service
Great service and the food was really good.
The servers were quite cordial, and they served us with haste. My favorite, affinity is coconut. Their dishes ranged from sour to creamy, and the curry left that texture.
Food did not had any taste at all we ordered egg plant and Thai fried rice. Nothing tasted Thai at all very dull taste.
The lady on phone who took our order was rude as well, she will not pay attention what is being ordered.
We’ve eaten here twice and both times were excellent. They have a large menu and serve generous portions. The food tastes great and their service is great. We will be back.
Restaurant was clean and beautiful. Service was perfection. We were celebrating a birthday and we so well taken care of. Food was fresh, hot amd delicious. Huge variety kn the menu. We will be back for more.
Good Menu, Good Parking space🙂👍
Good portions of yummy thai bbq pork and combination fried rice. For a great price too! Will return here again with family for a casual weekend dining.
Just had an outstanding Thai meal at this restaurant. I would rate it as the best Thai we have eaten (and we travel extensively). The service too was excellent. Don't miss this place if you are in town. We are staying 1 night and I am so glad we found this gem. Caution, the spice level is authentic so a level 3 is super spicy. We eat spicy and found it hot but it was so worth it. Next time I would order a level 2 spicy.
Good customer service. Food are so bad. Worst Thai food ever. They use cheap ingredients which you can definitely taste.
很难吃... 又贵又难吃
Food is mediocre. Called in to order and the lady does not speak English well. That is fine by me, but if you ask her to repeat herself, she starts yelling at you. Unacceptable.
Great food and service.
Food tastes amazingly delicious and the staffs are super helpful. Parking is moderately easy, with plenty of Handicap spots right in front of the restaurant. A good resto to briing any age of family members. A great place for family dinner with some birthday cake cutting.
Ordered beef pad thai and tofu red curry for take out and I was pleasantly surprised to find a free order of fried wontons included, on top of the already generous portions. The curry alone I was able to spread out over the course of two meals. With fast and friendly service besides, I would definitely visit this place again.
Great food ! friendly staff tasty food large portions.
I used to love this restaurant but the service is horrible. Mostly, on phone call. I was trying to order on the phone and the phone holder scream and yelled. When she couldn’t hear me (even though, I can hear her clearly) she hang up the phone and rudely said “bye bye”. She have no patience whatsoever so does waitress and waiters in the restaurant. I recommend to the owner to teach the employees to be more kind and respectful. What I experienced today is not the first time. I regret calling to this restaurant cuz I got disrespected for no reason. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. So to people who are thinking to going to this restaurant please keep in mind that there’s so many rude people working in this restaurant.
I love seafood hot pot!!!!! They’re made from fresh seafood that’s not preheated, the chili paste for the soup is made in house! And hot and spicy taste is like I’m in Thailand 😍
I gave 10 ⭐️ 👍
Loved it! Great food, outstanding service and wonderful staff. Definitely going back with my family.
The food is delicious and the owner and employees are very nice all the times
Our server was great, he was able to answer right away and asked me about the texture of the brown rice and gave feedbacks to their chief.
We love the fresh coconut (my car license plate reflects my love affair with the coconut).
Yummy tom ka shrimps. I finished the soft-shell crab by myself and ate some curry duck.
Sorry I forgot to take pictures, today was the last day to dine out for who knows when the "law" permits to reopen for dine-in. Plus, I do not like to let camera eat before me!
I will be sure to take some pictures next time as we will be coming back.
(Update): After they reopen the patio dining, was happy to be able to dine in at the patio again, although it was cold.
Almost half way done, I remember took just one picture of my favorite dishes...
Absolutely delicious!!!
I Love Thai Paradise. Love the food, love the service, love the price and love the location !
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. I always get the mushroom ginger with vegetables. They are also very flexible with converting a lot of their dishes to being vegetarian friendly.
My husband eats meat so it's nice to find a place to works for the both of us.
Great place for Thai food.
Don't forget to get dessert!
Good service and fresh cold water provided. Pretty good service. Food was good, prices were the usual. Tried some egg rolls and a few various items, would stop by again.
Great place. Great food
Its ok....not as tasty as I thought.
Food was 👍 great
Love their containers for take out. Usually get pad thai, which is great. Their chicken satay is pretty yummy!
Love the Food! Great prices. And if you place online order for pick up the wait time is minimal. The service is great.
I’m super picky about my Thai food and this is my favorite place to get it!
Great as always love the food
I'm a broth person, and enjoyed the rich wonton soup broth. I'm rating just the broth at 5 stars, and not the wontons. Wontons were okay, but good.
They have the best thai food. Highly recommended
Thai Paradise has very delicious food, friendly staff, and they do a very good job at practicing covid safety. Some restaurants decrease their portions for take out but portions at Thai Paradise are still big.
Food is fresh and delicious. Great service.
The food was good and the service was great
Its one of my favorite places to eat especially when i have a long day at work..I highly recommend it. Every one is so happy to help you choose there delicious entrees.. super friendly and everyone treats you with kindness.
One of my favorite thai spots, the food is very good never over cooked or undercooked. The staff is very helpful and nice food comes out quick and it taste wonderful. We have also ordered food here for pick up.
Broken noodles.
Good food and service!
The best Thailandeses food!!!
Great Beef plate! PADTHAI is decent too
Wasn't authentic. The balance of spices was off. The flavor was either way salty or way sour as the primary taste. Environment anf atmosphere was fine. Nice decorations. Service was a subpar.
A thai themed restaurant in the vicinity of Monterey Park, L. A. It had good thai food options.
We have ordered yellow curry and green curry along with chicken satay and basil fried rice. The curries tasted good. I like peanut sauce came with chicken satay. The rice is average. They have put all the available vegetables in the rice 😀😀.
Since it is purely thai restaurant and surrounding area is also asian, sometimes communication becomes problem. Otherwise you can definitely try option if you crave thai food.
Excellent food. Excellent service.
The price isn't that bad. Maybe a two dollars symbol place. They do give a free dessert.
When they say spicy it's SPICY. One of the best Thai spots in the San Gabriel Valley.
