Pan-Asian & Thai eatery serving soups, noodles & wok in an airy, laid-back space.
We enjoyed a classy Thai food here for dinner.
The Tom-kha soup was brought with a burner and served hit for the cold evening. The fried shrimp was delicious. The fried rice was ok but the ped-sew was outstanding. The food was served quickly , steaming hot and with perfect flavors. I also noticed that this is irrespective of the crowd size. FASTER SERIVICE..
It bursted all The flavors and was so satisfying.
Highly recommend this place for a nice
Been wanting to try this place, some of my friends said it's the best thai food they've had in LA. Their Pad Se Ew and Spicy Fried Rice were amazinggg and would come back again to have that however... Holy crap their red curry was watery and super bland... I know Thai curries tend to be less thick but wow I was quite disappointed.. it came out in like 2 minutes which was also suspicious. Had to add salt to the curry and didn't help much
My parents were looking for a Thai spot nearby via Uber eats & this popped up.
I ordered hainam chicken, a vegetable stir fry and a tiramisu. The hainam chicken was delicious, I usually prefer crispy version but this version was very tender and the rice was cooked perfectly with a garlicky flavor. The stir fray was also good but the tiramisu was the best of the bunch. The milk tea boba was about average but still pretty descent. Overall a solid dinner delivery.
I’d definitely order from this order again. I’d like to try this spot and dine in, in the future.
Parking: There is metered street parking, but I recommend parking in the structure located behind the restaurant. Make a left or right turn on W 27th St and the structure is on the right. It has free 2 hour parking. After, follow the signs to Thai by Trio. You’ll walk through a hallway that leads you to the back of the restaurant.
Ambiance/Environment: This is the most modern and aesthetic Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s very clean with a large space, and it has plenty of indoor seating. Great for large groups! No outdoor seating. They have restrooms for customers.
Service: We were greeted and seated right after we walked through. Shout out to all our servers! They took great care of us! Majority of them speak English but some are limited. The cooks were quick and efficient. Throughput was approx 10 minutes.
Food & drinks:
1) Popcorn Wonton (appetizer) - Crispy mini wonton stuffed with chicken and cilantro served with peanut sweet sour sauce. These were so crunchy and paired excellent with the sauce!
2) Crispy Mango Chicken (entree) - Crispy chicken with fresh mango, bell peppers, homemade mango sauce, and cashew nuts. This was my favorite dish! It came with a bowl of rice. You can adjust the spice level too, but I kept mine as is. The chicken was cooked well and coated generously with the sauce. It was savory yet sweet. The chunks of mango made it refreshing.
3) Crying Tiger (entree) - Grilled rib eye marinated with Thai spices served with sautéed mixed vegetables. This was my second favorite dish! This also came with a bowl of rice. I requested the meat medium rare. Some pieces were well done but still delicious. It came with a lot of meat! I’m unsure what the sauce was, but it made the meat more juicier.
4) Blushing Dragon (cocktails) - soju, lychee juice, pomegranate juice, fresh lychee. I love lychee, and the taste of lychee still came through. You can still definitely taste the soju. I enjoyed this drink.
5) Purple Rain (cocktails) - soju, butterfly pea tea, mango juice, lemon juice. I was recommended this drink since it’s their most popular. Now I know why! Other than its looks, it was also delicious!
6) Jasmine Milk Tea Boba - This is nonalcoholic, of course. Definitely tastes like jasmine milk tea, and the boba was decently chewy. Can’t mess up a classic boba drink.
7) Thai Milk Green Tea Boba - This is also nonalcoholic. This is what you call a Thai green tea! The layers were visibly nice, and I also really enjoyed this drink.
Pricing: I’d say it’s worth the price! Portions are shareable and fulfilling. Even I wasn’t able to finish my dish, and I eat A LOT.
Nice servers and atmosphere, but very, very bad food. Just really bad. The meats they use are all low quality meats that taste like cardboard. Will never come back unfortunately
Food wasn't great and their specialty mango chicken is simply orange chicken.
Portion size was smaller too but appropriate for the price
Place was okay also the food...
First they won ton soup is good but for a small with 3 won tons and 3 bok choy for $10 they tripping where is everything else that go in wonton soup it wasn’t worth the price

I Went to Get Spring Rolls Just to GET lettuce Rolls, So I Didn't Trip, the Next day I Went Back I Asked if I Could Pay Extra For Shrimp and They "Huuuh" and Shoed me off , I Will Not Be Going here again
Delicious food and good vegetarian options
Love the food, service and amazing ambience.
I have been to this restaurant three times now. I rate Thai cuisine by how good the chicken pad thai is. The food is outstanding!
Friendly, quick service. This is my new go to place for Thai.
Mid. The find was ok but the service and environment was great
I don't usually write reviews, but this place was so good I'm leaving it.
I ate DIM SUM,VIETNAMESE HAND ROLL,
TOM YUM NOODLE SOUP,PAD THAI.
Everything was delicious.
The texture and flavor of the dim sum was especially great. The Tom Yum Noodle was also great with its spiciness and flavor. The pad thai, ingredients and noodles were great.
I am Asian, so I eat Thai food a lot, this is the best Thai food in Los Angeles.
Service was very good and I would go back again.
Parking was located behind the restaurant and was free.

100% recommended.
Great experience. Appetizers came out quick and fresh, egg rolls are so delicious! The crab fried rice & drunken noodles were so fresh and well done. The drinks are the cherry on top and the customer service is really good.
Very good food, I love the thai boat
Solid spot. Love the Thai boat
Nice spot to chill with and bring friends and family near USC. Got the beef pad see ew and green curry, amazing as usual!
Delicious is an understatement!! I got the shrimp fried rice and the Tom yum soup and wow I am blow away by how amazing both dishes are. They were fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection. Staff is so sweet too!!!!
Simply a perfect place to dine in
Great food. Good service. Fast turnover in the restaurant… dont have to wait much
Google Thai places near me and came up with this restaurant. Had a very high raining with lots of reviews and so I went to try for myself. Walked in with no reservation was immediately seated. Options look good prices were good overall you can get a great meal for about $20 a person (drinks excluded) definitely stop by
LOVE TbT....such a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff with " on it " service. Food is always great.
The vegetables are super fresh and the tofu is great. If you're vegetarian, this is a must place. Basically all their dishes can be made with tofu over meat. They also have a vegetarian/vegan section.
Food is Mediocre. I expected better due to rating but honestly nahh!! Food is ok but not worth the high prices. I would expect better quality at there high prices. Also I feel all the food is premade. We literally finished ordering and the food took 5 min to be served. Not the greatest feeling as you paying fresh to order not fast food. So very questionable. I had the Pad Thai $18 noodles and they were to wet and soggy also hardly any noodles served. Chicken curry $18 I’m not kidding when I say you can count the 6 slices of thin small pieces of chicken. Tom Kah Soup $24 for the pot which also was small. I will say it was good I enjoyed it also they do have a nice ambiance and the place is clean. I spent about $85 total 2 people. Thai is one of my favorite foods and I look forward to ordering different dishes and sharing amongst my family and always having leftovers to take home. However not the case here and well not that great either. I would not come back. So many better Thai restaurants that serve better food and give you good portions to share and enjoy with the rest of the table. Sorry but just not with it for me! The 3 stars was because the place is nice and clean.

Beautiful interior. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Love their drunken noodles and pad Thai.
一個很棒的泰國餐廳!
My brother and I made a stop here to have lunch. There's free parking available behind the restaurant on 27th street. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Green Thai Iced Tea. For our appetizer, we shared the Larb. It was nice and tasty. I prefer my larb spicy, so I asked for extra chili spice to top it off. I was craving for fish, so I ordered the Ginger Sole with rice, while my brother ordered the Khao Soy noodles. The one thing that the noodles were missing to me were the pickled toppings to add to it. I ended up just eating it with the pickled peppers. The fish dish was nice and filling. It reminded me of a homecooked meal. Kay was our server. She was sweet and on top of things. The space is pretty big. They have a bar area in the front, and lots of booth and table seating. They definitely can accommodate big parties. Super clean, modern, with some authentic touches.
The waiter we had was super rude. Otherwise no complaints. She stood on the side and watched us eat which was uncomfortable

A nice Thai restaurant near USC. Their menu is a fusion of Thai and southeast Asian food that are popular in Thailand. The crying tiger is very good - tender and juicy meat. The hainan chicken rice could be better. The chicken was quite dry and didn’t have the “chicken oil” feeling that it supposed to have in this dish. Dimsum was good. Parking was quite hard to find. You might need to try street parking and walk across the street.
Parking: There's some street parking, but just being the restaurant on 27th there's a parking garage you can go to.
When you walk into this restaurant, it's beautifully decorated, there's beautiful art everywhere. I didn't get to take pictures of the place, but trust me when I say its wonderfully decorated.
Service was wonderful, they were very attentive and gave us a lot of amazing suggestions!
Now on to our order!
Drinks:
🧋Green Thai Milk Tea - This was very refreshing, there's a floral taste to it.
🧋Thai Milk Tea Boba - another great complimentary drink to the food! The boba was a great consistency!
Food:
🍚 Buddha Dumplings - these were amazing with the green curry! The filling was delicious and perfectly spiced!
🍚 Popcorn Wontons - These were fun to eat! And the dipping sauce was a great compliment to it! We also dipped the dumping into the green curry from the Buddha Dumplings which was also great!
🍚 Crying Tiger - This was so delicious, loved the tenderness of the meat, the crying tiger sauce was great! We also started dipping the meat into the Spicy Catfish sauce.
🍚 Spicy Catfish - I will say this is the star of the show! The catfish was perfectly crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth on the inside. The vegetables were tender, and the sauce was great! Wanted a touch more heat, but that's just a personal preference.
🍚 Mango & Sticky Rice - The perfect finisher for the meal. Light and sweet. Need I say more?
All the dishes here made it to the clean plate club! So if you're in the area and looking for delicious Thai food, head here!
A beautiful atmosphere all around with good food! Affordable prices and wonderful customer service :) Our food came out so fast! Definitely recommend!
Food is delicious. We got shrimp tempura, edamame, udon with tempura, mango chicken, and green curry. Every dish was very flavorful, and not too salty. If you're sensitive to spicy things, ask if something is spicy before you order.
Kids are up the udon, which we got without veggies. They loved the tempura, and I have to admit I ate two of theirs because it was super crispy and delish.
Ambience is so beautiful!! Bathrooms are clean, and the soap even smells good. You can tell they pay attention to detail.
Service was quick and they were so kind and patient, even with indecisive kids.
Only downside is the street parking, but honestly we came here at 5pm on a Friday and didn't have trouble finding a spot.
Highly recommend!! I feel like this is a hidden gem, it should be busier than it is!!
Food not the best Thai food I have had the pleasure of eating. It's ok if I don't want to drive to another location
Was charged multiple times, and not given food. Given free tea as an apology but it was someone else's order! That they also had charged multiple times!
Now where was this place when I was a grad student at USC? My recent visit to the DTLA area took me to this hip Thai spot that simply impressed me with their vibe and food quality.
The menu has a lot of wonderful Thai staples and has a large vegetarian/vegan friendly section. They offer a lot of dishes using soy chicken meat and other accidentally vegan items, making it great to meet all dietary preferences.
My friend and I started with their fried tofu ($8) which were pieces of deep-fried firm tofu served with a tangy peanut sauce. For my main, I asked if I could veganize their Khao Soi ($15) by swapping the egg noodle with rice noodles, removing the crispy egg noodles topping, and swapping the meat for soy chicken.
They obliged and the dish was heavenly! The yellow curry soup was fantastic by itself with the right amount of spice, the soy meat was great and packed protein, and the inclusion of thin rice noodles didn't take away from the dish at all. Highly recommend if you want a great Khao Soi.
We also ordered their Thai iced teas and they offer oat milk as a non-dairy option (along with boba). Five stars all around for the great food, service, and entire vibe. I will definitely be back.
Food was so good! The mango chicken was crispy and delicious. It was pretty empty when we stopped by but the service was very attentive.
What is going on with this place? Tried to order or Uber Eats 3 separate times. First time, they accept the order, we wait for 40 mins, multiple delivery drivers try to pick it up, the restaurant doesn’t answer the phone and then they cancel the order. Second time I tried ordering on Uber the restaurant simply turned it off and it said they weren’t accepting orders. Third time same thing happed as the first time, we order, they accept it and it says the order is being prepared, we wait, we call them to confirm they’re in fact making it, no one answers and after about an hour order is cancelled. If you don’t want to sell your food on Uber eats then take yourself off of there? A complete waste of time and so frustrating that it happened multiple times. At this point, I’ll never be going there again and if you’re trying to order this place online, best of luck to you… They don’t care about it !
Liked the Thai tea. Food was delicious. Ordered a spicy plate and it was pleasantly seasoned . Nice portion and veggies. Will check them out again and try the soups maybe.
This is a cute little place with fantastic food. They have a lot of vegan options. The staff are fast and friendly. The inside is very clean and nicely decorated. I'd say my only complaint is when it is busy it is very very loud.
Fast efficient service - I ordered a vegan pad Thai. Vegetables were fresh and tofu was firm. I recommend it.
I’m glad I chose this place to have Thai food when visiting LA.
I was arriving to Thai by Trio in 15 minutes of their closing time post which I wouldn’t have been able to grab some dinner after 10pm.
They were kind enough to accommodate us and served us with good food within a few minutes of us arriving.
We ordered the red curry and drunken noodle (vegetarian- no egg, no fish sauce, no meat)
They were very kind and generous. Had their restaurant open past their operating hours waiting for us to finish.
I would give them a 5/5 for everything.
The ambience, the food, the service.
We’d love to visit them again if we’re in LA.
Food was great! Service was awful! The waitresses were helping everyone else that got there after my friend and I. Zero stars to these people! Shoutout to the bartender who acknowledged us and gave us service! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE GIVEN OUR EXPERIENCE. They even moved a table away from us. The staff kept looking at us like we didn’t belong there. Rather go to Panda next time!
Waitresses talked very nice but don't really see things and help as lacking of experience
Very delicious especially the trio banana
They are fast food is really tasty
food is tasty and good.
staff are very kind.
tip 20% is perfect to them!
Service was okay. They never came to ask us how the food was. The food on the other hand…probably the most below average Thai food I’ve ever had.
Nice decoration. Decent food quality and taste. Good for quick meal. Big and roomy place.
It's a nice place.
But Tom Yum soup was like just shrimps in water with lemon juice. It wasn't like real Tom Yum I was eating every day in Thailand.
Portions (meat specifically) are pretty small compared to other Thai restaurants. Tastes okay.
Amazing ambiance and even better food. Especially the vegan dishes. Run by a great family that delivers exceptional service.
We’ve eaten Thai all over the world and this place is amazing. Super authentic. Vegan options, particularly the soy chicken satay, is out of this world. Also super convenient, free garage parking at rear entrance.
Don’t order takeout here. Extremely small portion for the money spent
Excellent taste and place! Waiters were so polite.
100% recommend this one of the kind restaurant
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOURE DISABLED NOT ADA FRIENDLY. Was meeting friends who were paying the bill and leaving and they told me if i didn’t show them papers for the my service animal i couldn’t come in. i informed them that was illegal and they told me to leave. would leave zero stars if i could.
My husband and I love this restaurant. The staff is really friendly, fast and attentive. My husband uses a wheelchair and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate him and provide him with wonderful service.
The food is sooo goood!!! Everything is amazing!!
Wowwwww I didn't even realize what kind of restaurant I was walking into when my friends suggested this place.
First of all, I have such major skepticism of restaurants that have dishes from all kinds of cuisines. Like cheesecake factory, their menu is so extensive and yet everything tastes mediocre, you feel me?
But you walk in here and the place is polished. The wait staff are super attentive and very nice. The food comes out hot and fresh. The bathrooms are clean.
The crying tiger was so good I had tears of joy. The vegetable pad Thai was flavorful and exploded with fresh ingredients.
If I can't get Fred Again tickets at the shrine next week, I might just come back again anyway to try some of the other dishes.
Love this spot! Food is fantastic and it’s a much larger restaurant than it appears on the outside. Great atmosphere and the cocktails were good too! I had an Island Mojito. I would definitely eat and drink here again.
Didn't know this place was so close to me. The restaurant is so nicely decorated. Super ample space so you don't feel like you are on top of other people's conversations. The food is yummy. They assist you quickly. Love the design. Had curry and pad see eww and def worth it.
I loved this place. We ordered Spicy fried rice, Phad thai and Curry noodles. All of them are excellent and the ambience is good. The service was quick and good.
pho is awesome!
very clean ^^
they gave my children balloons ~
Big space allowed for spacious layout. Lots of staff. Food was yummy. We had yellow curry, eggplant with tofu, and spring rolls. Portions were a little light, which meant we didn't have leftovers. They had a good bar selection too which can be hard to find coupled with Thai food.
The food was delicious and delivered quick. The service was fantastic and restaurant was clean
Mine was a delivery and it was very good 100%
양이 좀 작은 느낌이지만 가볍고 편안하게 먹을수 있는 타이집
공간이 넓어서 편안하게 즐길수 있는곳
단체석도 있어서 여러명이 가기 좋은 집...
One of the best places around USC. It’s my regular for two years during studies. Also my go to dating spot. The food is really good. All the curries and their fried rice
Drove out of our way to eat here because it had good reviews and was said to be open on both google and yahoo, but we got there and were told they were “still closed”; however we were not told when they will reopen, there were no signs as to why they were closed midday or when they’d reopen. If they have a closing period, it should be listed somewhere easily viewable by potential customers so that they don’t go here only to find out it’s closed, even though the open sign is lit up and online their listed hours (which funnily enough said updated a month ago, so recently) say they should be open. They were not open!!! Very annoyed by this.
Food was great just that they made us tip heavily it was 6 of us. The service wasn’t good at all they kept coming over to take out plates when we weren’t even finished, tip plus tax was $53.71 for the attention we had I felt like that was excessive
They didn’t even let us choose the table the place was empty by the way. We asked for napkins several times and they would only bring 2 small napkins for all of us
The servers weren’t attentive at all
This place is bussing and so convenient and quick!!! 😩
I love them.
Great people and smiles on these employees, took my first take out combo pad thai here and honestly one of the most driest pad thai i’ve ever had. It was hard to eat. Ill try something else here next time!
It's newly renovated, which is kinda rare in the neighborhood. Good food too.
I’ll start off with the good: the servers are great, the inside is so cute and I love the decor!
I ordered tom kha soup and the mushrooms in the soup were canned mushrooms :(
My friends ordered pad see ew and fried rice. The fried rice was okay, and the pad see ew was really good! I also got a side of egg rolls no complaints there. The Tom kha was really okay.
All the dishes I’ve had here were so delicious. The staff is so friendly. Great ambiance and such cool decor.
Love the food from this amazing restaurant.
The wait staff wasn't friendly at all they kept taking our plates without asking of we were finished when the plates still had food on them it was like they wanted us to leave already I also felt that the tip was way to much ot was already included in the bill the tip was way to much for the service
Love this place. I have been going here ever since I started at USC 5 years ago. The food was superb even before this place became more upscale. I recently came back to LA after 4 years and was very very happy that the food quality and taste has not gone down.
A lovely place to dine with family and excellent customer service
If you're looking for great Thai food by USC, look no further! Even after moving out of the neighborhood, I will still make the trip out for the curry here! Prices are reasonable, service is great, and the food is phenomenal. We always start with the Tom Ka soup and then will split a noodle dish and a curry dish, but you really can't go wrong!
Almost the best restaurant and great Thai food in USC campus area. Many students come to dine-in or a quick pickup to-do. The atmosphere and decorations are in modern style while the food all taste good. I love the Chicken Satay and Spicy Rib-eye salad. As the steak is in really good taste. The pineapple fried rice and phad Thai are with great amount of rice and protein even could say one plate for serving two people. Also, the Green curry is generally good while Red and yellow ones could be spicy enough out of my endurance. Tom Yum is a choice too but I suppose it been added to much spices. Overall a great choice of food quality and price balance.
decent food, but idk something feels missing - like that oomph factor
Nice vibe. We ordered papaya salad and pad see ew with steamed tofu. Papaya salad was great and as ordered (mild). Pad see ew was great, not salty as ordered. The tofu was not steam or heat up well and was cold. Our server did not know all the details of the menu and had to ask other servers.
Very nice thai food flavourful. Nice ambience
Buen servicio la comida hasta ahora muy bien todo lo que he comido está rico...
Incredible. For dessert, try the mango and sticky rice!
Ordered Kra Prow ( Gra Prow) through uber eats. Not a single leaf of basil in it. Watery sauce ( there isn’t supposed to sauce at all). It’s basically meat stir fry with long beans. I’m now eating something other than what I wanted and ordered.
Not the best customer experience. Came to pick up my order and while the lady working the front went to get my order she stops to assist new people coming in. There was two people working the front at the time. Why couldn’t one of them assist the new people coming in and the other one continue getting my order? Silly staff.
EXCELLENT Thai. The Pad See Ew was moist and flavorful, the mango chicken was the perfect texture and crunch. The food was brought out very quickly, still warm. I would definitely come back with friends.
We were refused dine in service. My friends and I just got back from a long trip and we were looking for a restaurant that was still open in the area. We got to the restaurant at 9:39pm, they close at 10pm. We were told they couldn’t sit us because they’d have to clean when were done. I’ve never heard that before. It was my friend’s birthday, I told them that and I tried to persuade them to let us just eat in and have a nice dinner for my friend, but they wouldn’t let us eat at the restaurant because they had to clean? Interesting lol. We had to get take out and we were charged more than what was on the menu as their menu is “old”
AMAZING!!!
Although corporate vibe, the place is spotless, specious and inviting, the service is prompt and accommodating. The food is good, and I so wanted it to be great. Very comfortable dining experience, I'll do it again. Prices are reasonable and good value.
Did anyone out of nowhere was asked to give tip? The first and second time my partner and I went they never asked us for tip. But now they are asking for tip. Is it require to leave tip? It caught us off guard when they asked us to leave tip. They told us we have too leave tip?.
Food is good tho.
Five star dinning the waiter was so good and kind
Food was great and the service 🥰
All the dishes we ordered were delicious and came out very fast, very nice place, clean and friendly workers. Will definitely be visiting again soon
Great food and very good service.
I love this place, excelent food and services
Very rude
Great food with great environment.
Love Trio!!Delicious !!Their service is so so so Good!!Friendly!!Trio is my favorite restaurant around USC!!
very good thai *fusion* for a quick bite!!
Mal pesimo.servicio todo Caro y comida fria hasta cucarachas hay en la comida roaches in the food bad service
Everything was amazing from the fresh garden roll and dumplings, to the Tuk Tuk fried rice!
Amazing Thai place with plenty of great vegetarian options. I'm a regular here now. Must try the Soy chicken drunken noodles.
Great tasty seafood rice in a good portion
Ordered the Crying tiger and was disappointed.
We had a wonderful dinner at Thai Trio. Great service, nice atmosphere, and really amazing food. Everything that we ordered had great taste and a good level of spice. We would recommend the duck curry, dim sum, Buddha dumplings, and the wonton soup. There is not a lot of parking options, but we did find street parking. Would definitely recommend.
The ambience and the food is really good.
food is not bad, but last time when I visited there were many 🪰 flying around 🤢
