Warm Thai eatery featuring a variety of classics, including curry & noodle dishes, & free delivery.
Worst Thai food I have ever had in my life and Thai food is one of my favorite cuisine.. It made me sick and gave me the ick!! BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE
Food was so watered down, very poor flavor, the chicken tasted like it sat in the freezer for months that horrible fridge taste 🤢🤢 NEVER AGAIN
Got the papaya salad, drunken noodles, and the duck noodle soup. All were super delicious and authentic! We asked for extremely spicy for the papaya salad, and it turned out kind of spicy but not too much. The drunken noodles were SO good, with lots of delicious basil flavor. The duck noodle soup was super ducky, so don't get unless you really like the flavor of roasted duck 🦆. The waitress was really nice too, and memorized everybody's orders (impressive!) Highly recommend, would definitely come again!
Ordered online, picked up my food. When I got home I noticed my rice was not there so I went back for it. When I got back home to eat the rice felt cheap, hard, overcooked and old. Their rest of the food wasn't all that great neither. When I walked in there was dishes on the tables and 2 guys watching soccer on the television.
Food is so delicious and comes out of the kitchen quickly! Staff is so friendly. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and the food is always good.
Authentic Thai food in the westside. One of my favorite Thai food in LA. I was craving for Khao Kha Moo and not many Thai restaurant in the westside have this dish, I’m so glad I found this at this place, no need to drive to Thaitown for this. The Khao Kha Moo sauce was soooo good. They also have other dishes that is not offer in typical thai restaurant in the westside. Cannot wait to try other dish on the menu.
I stopped there for lunch , to my surprise no lunch specials /combinations , ordered panang curry (red) chicken , was ok but a bit bland on side of salty, also rice did not come with entree so total for a fairly small portion entree lunch was 19$ , IMHO pricey for quality/quantity of food. Won't be going back , better Thai deals around.
I tried the Yentafo noodle soup and honestly didn't know what to expect. It's description said it was Thailand's beloved pink noodle soup and it was something I've never tried before... and I liked it! It had a very unique flavor which I can't really place my fingers on how to describe it, kinda sour and sweet. Tried their Thai Iced Tea as well and it's just as you would expect.

Food was bad service was worse. The worse restaurant experience so far.
My favorite restaurant in the entire state of California.
If you are lucky enough to be in the vicinity, go try it.
They take great pride and love in what they do.
It shows, and the food is simply terrific.
Very delicious food!
This place is amazing, the flavors are just wow. Love the vibe too. Great service as well.
Pad Thai I got here was pretty good!
Old man who sits in the back parking lot is a miserable piece of you know what! Younger guy (looks like old man’s son/relative) is his whiney whipping boy! Do yourselves a favor & DON’T DINE HERE!
Restaurant, staff & food are beyond help. My sister & I were literally verbally/physically accosted over a parking space dispute & we are considering filing a police report! I cannot wait until these people go out of business!
I have been here once and the staff is terrible, whoever thinks coming this restaurant it’s definitely a wrong choice, they don’t know how to treat people and have the worst attitude I have ever experienced in my life. Very Bad people and very bad restaurant
Would give zero stars if possible. I got food poisoning from the seafood soup.
DO NOT EAT HERE.
Food used to be Amazing. The fired a few workers & after that the food went downhill. If you want better Thai Food, hit up Treehouse Thai 1/2 mile east on Venice.
The service is non-existent & sometimes borderline rude. The old Asian man in the back yells too much. Parking is bad too.
The ambiance is dark & crude inside. Terrible.
Terrible, worst experience of my life. Owner is very rude. me and my friends all got food poisoning. Zero stars
I recently visited Thai Boom on Venice, and the experience was mostly positive. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive. I enjoyed a variety of Thai dishes, all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. However, I was not a fan of the beef, as it didn't meet my expectations. Despite this minor issue, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend Thai Boom for those looking to indulge in Thai cuisine. Just be mindful of the beef if it's not to your taste!
la peor comida tailandesa que he comido sin ningún sazón, en mi platillo encontré un cabello🤮🤮🤮🤮😵😵💫, aparte el servicio es pésimo las personas parece que están enojadas 😡 todo el tiempo.

Delish
Good food but getting pricey. Also added 18% tip on party of 6 without mentioning it.
Good food 😋
If u want to get poisoned perfect place, Don’t try it
Nice little Thai restaurant. Good food, good service, reasonably priced. Sorry - no pics!
Yummy! Would definitely go again
The soups, curries, bbq, coconut shrimp, rices - all amazing. Fast for take out and delivery, too! Love it!
Pad Thai did not taste good and was over priced.
Hair in our food. We have tried this place before thought the food was decent so we ordered again. Ordered through Grubhub but this time found long black hair in our food. Called restaurant, of course “Boo” couldn’t do anything about it. Was told to call manager in the morning. Good luck. Hope you get your food hair-less
Terrible food terrible location. I don't recommend to enyone. NOT in the US standard for hygiene. Awful :(
Cosy family run restaurant - large spaces offers plenty of covid distancing and they abide by the rules fully - makes it a safe place to enjoy great food. Highly recommend the coconut soup !
The guy here, is he the owner? The manager? The screaming and the cursing is ridiculous!!! You need to calm down and take a course in customer service. Wasn’t rude to you at all and you still screamed and cursed. Will be telling all my friends not to eat here, and all my business meetings here are over. Will take my clients elsewhere.
The food might be good but the owner is an absolute tool. It has been witnessed numerous times, him yelling and swearing at his employees. Serious prejudice and discrimination. Stay away from this psycho and his restaurant.
I tried the Yentafo noodle soup and honestly didn't know what to expect. They have the BEST vegetarian Pad See Ew I have ever had and they are all really sizable portions as well! Definitely a dinner and a lunch for leftovers. The golden fried tofu is delicious and I’ve heard great things about the curries from friends as well!
I didn’t like the guy who was working there who treated everyone inappropriately.
I don’t recommend anyone
Very low key spot, definitely a family favorite. Everything is tasty, everything seems fresh, and overall enjoyable experience
Great Thai food! When dine-in, the soups come in heating pots which were fun. All the dishes I tried were awesome and of huge portion. Their desserts and Thai coffee were also amazing.
Got a Tom yum soup and it was ok . Was more spicy than sour. Nothing special just another Thai place .
I don't know what happened to Thai Boom, I used to love this place. Today they got my order wrong and the soup I used to love was terrible, no vegetables at all, only broth, some mushrooms and shrimp. Certainly not worth the $66 I paid for 2 large soups, 1 vegetable spring rolls ($10 for 2 rolls of lettuce) and the duck order that they got wrong.
Very unhappy, deleted them from my phone contacts.
Soo everything was flavorful but i didn't get my rice or the pork in the curry I ordered. And idk the learn had these lil strips of lettuce like as if it was originally cut for a salad. Y'all okay there?
Very tasty! I got medium on the spiciness and it was a little too hot for me but still very tasty! Always long lines at night so make sure to go around lunch time and you might just get lucky!
Worst $80 dollars spent in my life. Food was awful! Seriously dry and tasteless. Service sucks too but not as bad as the food.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a customer service . The manager is a terrible human being
This place sucks
The manager is a horrible human being
Customer service sucks
Terrible service
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a customer service. He literally cursed at me for asking a simple question
This place has good food however I just paid $11 and some change, with tax, for half a quart of soup which I’ve never paid so much in my life. I really hope this is the best soup ever because if not I’m not gonna be too happy. Just saying nine dollars for a small bowl of soup is OVERPRICED.
I got a really good pork noodle soup
The best Thai food, hands down! Having lived in Thailand for almost 15 years, I really appreciate the authentic flavors and dishes. The staff is awesome too!
Good thai tea and duck soup at a very reasonable price
Amazing food every time. And when in season...their mango sticky rice is to die for.
I love their Pad Thai, spring rolls, and orange chicken.
Really good dumplings the sauce for the calamari taste weird also they should have fried the calamari to make it taste better but other than that they have alot of food options to choose from
Got the papaya salad, drunken noodles, and the duck noodle soup. All were super delicious and authentic! We asked for extremely spicy for the papaya salad, and it turned out kind of spicy but not too much. The drunken noodles were SO good, with lots of delicious basil flavor. I ordered the pad Kee Mao and it was delicious
Es un lugar espedial
Amazing authentic and delicious food...best fried wonton anywhere!!!
Had the roasted duck on rice. The duck and the sauce on it was good. The veggies were just boiled, so the flavor was a little lacking. Service was okay and the bench/sofa seating is the least comfortable. If you have the opportunity to, settle for the chair and let your friend suffer on the bench/sofa seating!
Hey guys i had bad experience with this business i fist of all its dirty second its horrible customer service third i wait 1 hours for my food and its disgusting food i ever eat from thai place i wont return anymore and i don't recommend to go their!!!
Worst costumer service and rude owner !!!!
Really disappointed with our beef pa thai the other day. They put a layer of eggs over the pa thai as opposed to exposing the noodles. Also the ground peanuts, shredded carrots, and bean sprouts were all on the outskirts of the dish. Definitely not what I am expecting and the beef was not easy to chew.
Seafood soup is yummy
Love this place. The food was authentic and tasty. Everyone there is super nice. The only thing that it needs is an ice cold beer to wash all that goodness down....which you can't get because they do not serve alcohol ...YET! (hint hint, make it happen! )
Moved into the area recently and have already ordered from there like 4 times. So good!
Best Thai food in west LA
Ordered delivery:
Not sure how much of it was the fact that I got delivery but man was this food not what I expected.
Ended up getting the Kung Pao and it was just a bunch of vegetables in flavoured water (pictures attached) which was apparently supposed to be a hot and spicy sauce.
Was expecting great things as I have heard of this place from friends and the pictures look great.
Will probably not eat here again
My wife and I visit here for years. probably best thai food in the whole LA area. Royal fried rice is amazing.
This is a pretty small restaurant, but don't let that deter you. The menu is extensive with lots of options. There is a lunch menu, but it's not really any better or cheaper than the regular stuff. The staff is nice, chatty, and average attentive.
I got the pad thai with tofu. When it first came out, I thought it was the wrong thing, but they cover the noodles with egg, kinda like an omelette...never seen this before but I don't mind it. It was a good portion and it tasted fine, the right amount of sauce and other ingredients.
Best Mango Sticky Rice in Los Angeles.
Excellent Thai Good! Try the Som Tum Thai salad- it awakens all of your tastebuds! The Pad See Ew is also delicious!
Absolutely Delicious! Reasonably priced too. If you eat here I recommend the Stuffed Salmon, Any and all curries, (I am partial to the yellow veggie curry),and Crying Tiger! However really everything is wonderful.
Great place
Fruit salad, noodles, fired rice and Thai coffee are my favorite food here.
Good food at a decent price. Servings we're a bit smaller than expected, typically we order to share but there was just enough to make that feasible. They posted like three signs saying "mango sticky rice is back" while I was there so I'm thinking I should try it next time.
Great food. Pretty authentic compares to other restaurants in this area😊
Great little hole-in-the-wall Thai place. Service is great. Food passes as good. A decent option if you're in the neighborhood and craving quick no-frills Thai.
Really good pad Thai and spicy fried rice
Great food, nice
they changed their cook and all their food tastes terrible now
Fast and delicious!
Worst "Thai food" on west side, lucky to get your order right on first 2 tries, rude does not begin to describe their staff and owner..they hate their customers..I don't know why but they act like they resent your business, I live half block away for 12 years so it's easy and I keep giving my business for that alone but it kills me cuz they're the WORST! If you're reading this then you've obviously got better options...stay away!
Favorite Thai spot in LA so far. Thai Boom offers authentic, well-prepared, home cooked Thai food for people who want their taste of the lovely cuisine
Great food at a good price!
Went here for Dinner, on a Sunday. They took more than 1 hour to get our dish. First time they brought us our order and its the wrong one. We clarified our order and waited and waited and waited. Mind you it wasn't busy. Finally I went to the service lady asking how much longer and she didn't even put the order in! So lo and behold, another 15 mins wait. So we waited for our order for our food for more than 1 hour. No star for this one!
Food wasn't that good....went on a Sunday....besides the food..they add the tip to ur receipt....without even asking us....
their price is a bit higher but food is totally worth it try fried ice cream ...
It was a a great place. The people are kind. The food is beyond amazing!!!:)
Great soups! Street parking. Good for Take-out or dine in.
I've just had assume out from this position. They convey quick and have wonderful Thai nourishment.
Отличное место! Зал правда маленький ,но ооооч вкусненько 🤗 Кокосовый просто бомба (мы даже взяли двойную порцию 😅 ) . Рис с курицей и ананасом немного остренький
I had the shrimp pad Thai and it was ok. The onions were overpowering and the shrimp wasn't peeled very well. Tasted fine but not the kind of quality I expected from a Thai place.
2nd best Thai in la
This restaurant they're food was absolutely great i always go back this restaurant for lunch since I love the food no doubt about it but only one thing I makes me disappointed the person work at the front desk she's not friendly at all never say hi thank you or whatever even do i have such great attitude i always say please thank you but even one words i didn't hear anything from her i don't know what's her problem if she don't like me or she hate the whole words like today I'm having lunch there i completely disappointed with her attitude she's like ignoring me never bring my bill until I give her a sign so I don't know what her problem I'm pretty sure she remembered me since every time I eat there she's the one there even i always give a tips so to the owner of this restaurant you should have friendly people work at your restaurant especially at the front desk no matter what's they're problem in life because without your costumers your restaurant wouldn't success. I'd love this Restaurant but just because of that lady today I make promises my self im not gonna coming back there anymore. So it's a suggestion from royalty costumer train your staff especially that lady to have pleasant manner and great attitude, so your not gonna losing costumer , since me and my husband love this place but because of her no way we're not gonna coming back there anymore I'm just concerned about it since Thai boom food was absolutely amazing great
Had a green check curry. Mediocre at best: meat has frozen meat taste, curry is flat and watery, not eggplants
Nice cozy spot for dinner. Sat by front window great for people watching too. My duck with red curry sauce was amazing, partner's duck pad thai was also good. Service was excellent, although we were the only ones in there as it was early, 5:30 on a Thurs. We would be back.
A favorite go-to for local Thai.
My favourite takeout Thai food. Also free delivery. Great drunken noodle dish.
Small restaurant, but the food is very good.
Awesome service. Fresh food. So delicious!! Definitely recommend
I've only had take-out from this place. They deliver fast and have tasty Thai food. Recommend.
Ok food. Nothing spectacular
Eat here service is great
I love Thai Boom! one of the first thai restaurants I went to in LA. They have a great lunch special menu.
They're very casual. I usually order food for take-out. Delicious and great portion size. Good prices.
They also deliver which is awesome! :)
Good food, nice wait staff and prompt service. A tad more expensive than I was expecting, however.
The pad see ew with chicken was tasty (the beef version could use some help). Delivery!
Average decor and service, but wonderful Thai food! We love the pad kee mao, pad thai, yellow curry with tofu, golden wings, and egg rolls.
the food is good, price reasonable, but parking is a nightmare.
Pad ka pao is excellent here! Order it with the fried egg on top! Finally a great Thai restaurant on the Westside without having to venture to Thai Town.
I order delivery from this place all the time and I am always impressed. Great service - they love to say "I'm very sorry but it will take an hour for your food to get there", and then the food arrives 20 minutes later. Pretty impressive. Oh, did I mention the food is amazing?
