Amazing food. Ordered Green curry with thai ice tea(amazing)!

Diner Review №7

Small, intimate Thai restaurant in Weatwood, worth the visit. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was served in a timely manner! It was our first time there, and we will definitely be back! My husband and I had crab fried rice for the first time. It was DE-licious! No soy sauce is required! We also had their chicken pad Thai. Also delicious! They have a "wall of fame" of celebrities that dine there! Unfortunately, we saw no stars this evening! If you're in the area, give them a try!

Diner Review №8

Everything is perfect especially Pad thai :)

Diner Review №9

Absolutely delicious food.
Wonderful, friendly service.
.
It was very nice dining before it became more so full as the noise level increased significantly.
.
I plan to return.

The curry duck!

Diner Review №14

I got food poisoning after eating here. The food was also mediocre, small portions and expensive.

Diner Review №15

Overpriced and Underwhelmed
My family of four decided to give Emporium Thai a try, since it was close enough to UCLA, after I picked up my daughter from the school. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and underwhelmed.
We were seated after a few minutes after arriving. The restaurant was short of menu so we were handed one menu for a party of four. We were shocked at the prices on the menu. Maybe because of the location in Westwood we assumed that the prices were higher than other Thai restaurants we’ve been to.
How can you charge chicken fried rice, papaya salad, pad thai, and chicken wings for more than $20 each dish for such underwhelming taste? I would not mind if the food were delicious and decently presented. The chicken fried rice was bland. The papaya salad had just a taste of lime and was unprofessionally prepared. Why was the papaya julienned and prepared in such a mushy manner? The chicken wings with coconut sauce was nothing to write home about. The only dish that I gave an average grade was the shrimp pad thai.
There are great thai restaurants but not Emporium Thai because of the reasons mentioned. Please don’t make thai ethnic food for non Thai guests that are not representing
thai cuisine, especially when taste alone is so important.

Diner Review №16

My friends and I were in there tonight and had a blast . Thanks for having us guys ! - Conor & the guys from MA & CT

Diner Review №17

Really nice ambience and the southern curry is to die for. Very nice staff and great service by Honey Bee.

Diner Review №18

I got the royal veggie pad thai and it was actually so good. The portions are good too so you’ll have left overs.

Diner Review №19

The dishes we ordered were good, fresh and flavorful. Spice levels are a bit off (6 was Spicier than 8). The service was excellent. Ventilation could have been better. I would go again.

Diner Review №20

The food was amazingly done and had lots of veggies. The space is very comfortable and the flavors of the curries and noodles we ordered were great, would definitely recommend!

Diner Review №21

great place!

Diner Review №22

This restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №23

Amazing place! Great Service! Highly Recommend for visitors and locals! Best vegetarian drunken noodles and spicy thai fried rice that I have ever had!

Diner Review №24

I read all the one star reviews. Maybe so did the owner. The service was excellent. The food came out quickly. Our server was lovely and attentive and all this while the place was packed! The place has full bar and the drinks are above average. The food is first rate. Better than many Thai restaurants and the spicey control is perfect. It is not cheap. Nothing on Westwood Blvd. is. We will go there again!

Diner Review №25

Pad Thai, and yellow curry was really tasty.

Diner Review №26

Nice vibe Yammy!!!

Diner Review №27

Excellent Thai. Casual. Great service. Close to all things Westwood. Across from the new UCLA Nimoy theater. Convenient!

Diner Review №28

My favorite thai restaurant in Los Angeles!!! Its a staple of the La food scene. I write about restaurants for a living and this place takes the cake

Diner Review №29

I have only ordered deliveries from them. The food tastes ok. on the pricier side (but given it’s in west la perhaps it’s ok). They do mark gluten free very clearly so that’s nice. They have a large selection of thai food on their menu.

Diner Review №30

The food, atmosphere and experience is amazing.
It’s really refreshing to see the owner and family members working in the restaurant and being apart of the great atmosphere. I have been here twice in less than a week and I highly recommend it! The Crying Tiger Beef Salad is my favourite I have had anywhere. The Chicken Tom Yum Soup was divinely refreshing.

Diner Review №31

Waiting 20 minutes, no one come up!

Diner Review №32

Emporium Thai is a gem worth visiting, especially if you’re in the UCLA area. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by walls adorned with photos of celebrities, setting the tone for an acclaimed dining experience. It’s clear that this restaurant, an award-winning institution since 2000, has earned its reputation.

My first experience with their food was a takeout order, which impressed me so much that I had to visit in person. Yesterday, I finally enjoyed a sit-down meal at the restaurant, and it exceeded my already high expectations. The menu is extensive, but we settled on noodles, curry, and green beans with garlic. Every dish was bursting with flavor, with well-developed spices that truly set this place apart. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options!

Speaking of spice, their heat levels are no joke! Even level 3 packed a punch, so I can only imagine the fire of a level 10. If you’re a spice enthusiast, Emporium Thai offers an adventurous culinary challenge.

The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. It’s easy to see why this restaurant has a loyal following and why celebrities are drawn to it.

For the perfect ending to your meal, I recommend heading to Saffron & Rose for some unique Persian ice cream to cool down your palate after the spice. Emporium Thai is truly a must-visit, combining fantastic food, excellent service, and a touch of Hollywood charm.

Diner Review №35

Very unique homemade Thai donuts, and best Mango sticky rice.

Diner Review №36

Consistently the WORST Pad See ew I’ve ever had. Wet noodles. Try anything on their menu but that. Such a shame.

Diner Review №37

Literally sugar with a side of Thai.

Really disappointed and grossed out by every item that I ordered for me and my guests.

Diner Review №38

A friend brought us here, who’s a frequent visitor. Great semi famous thai spot. Owner is super sweet. Drinks, food, soups were awesome, but we’ve had better crab curry. Service was consistent and helpful. Complimentary dessert was a nice touch.

Diner Review №39

Worst food ever. The beef was old. The Diet Coke flat. Over priced- please don’t come here the worst Thai food I ever ate.

Diner Review №40

Diner Review №41

Emporium Thai has authentic Thai food. The place is so cozy, and the service is always warm and welcoming. The curry was a standout - so good. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I can highly recommend Emporium to anyone looking for Thai food near Westwood!

Diner Review №42

Such an awesome place!! Food is always so delicious and the staffs are so nice and welcoming!! Best Thai food in the area!

Diner Review №43

Totally worth the hype! Crab fried rice and curry are so good

Diner Review №44

Great food, wine and service. Doesn't disappoint.

Diner Review №45

The tiger salad was the best! The place is really busy which says a lot

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

Yellow curry was yummy, but the pad Thai and pad se ew were so dry and flavorless. I love most pad Thai, and I didn't want to eat the noodles, only pick out the protein. It was also super expensive compared to pad Thai places I've been.

Diner Review №48

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The soup I ordered arrived cold and tasted more like sugary water than any proper soup. The vegetables were completely raw and thrown in without being chopped, making them tough to eat. To top it off, the beef was so tough it was almost impossible to chew – certainly not edible. I had to abandon the meal because it just wasn’t worth trying to salvage. Truly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a while. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the quality I encountered.

Diner Review №49

Emporium Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant of all time. The staff is beyond welcoming and incredibly kind. The food is to die for, and the atmosphere makes you feel completely at home. Over all this was a 10/10 experience.

Diner Review №50

Hands-down. The very best Thai food in LA. Whenever I'm in town, I swing by for the pad kee mao! Also, their wings are suuuuuper good. Just the right amount of crispy & prominent flavor.

Diner Review №51

amazing food and service tonight! 10/10 lychee martini & the most attentive service. thanks honeybee for being so sweet!

Diner Review №52

Had a delicious meal with my best friend kaylynn :) pad see ew was delightful

Diner Review №53

ate w/ kristin :3 so awesome

Diner Review №54

A rather romantic atmosphere where everyone greets you with a genuine smile.....we ordered a number of dishes and they were all really really very tasty and pretty exotic. Must try their prawn appetizer....more than simply delicious as were the pineapple chicken shrimp fried rice and several curries.
Service was just as the food !

Diner Review №55

Very good Thai food here! Highly recommend the Pad Thai, Phuket wings and Crab Fried Rice. All the dishes were moist and perfectly seasoned with great flavors! A new favorite!

Diner Review №56

This is my go to spot! I’ve been in LA for 5 years and still nothing has beaten emporium thai when i’m craving thai food!! The staff is amazing and very attentive, the food and drinks are a 10/10 everytime!!! I defintely recommend.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

Food was decent but way overpriced and portions were small too

Diner Review №60

I visited this place with my girlfriend for brunch last weekend, and it was so amazing that we ended up returning two more times. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food reminded me of the authentic dishes I had during my trip to Thailand earlier this year, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, a 5-star experience!

Diner Review №61

Don’t fall for the reviews like I did. Got veggie fried rice with beef. I get home I could barely get one bite down before the revolting smell and hard chewy beef revealed it’s intent. Low quality rice - scant veggies - and no eggs !? Straight to the garbage. So disappointed as I was mad craving some Thai.

Diner Review №62

Nicole (hostess) at this location racially profiled my partner and assumed he was a door dash driver and made him wait outside even thought we ordered pick up for ourselves. Meanwhile she let someone else sit at the bar to wait. Not returning

Diner Review №63

AMAZING FOOD (if they actually get your spice level request correct), DISASTROUS SERVICE. The food at Emporium Thai is honestly incredible, but the service is an unmitigated disaster. The food is ALWAYS late--by a lot, not just a little.

We kept coming back because the food is so good, it's in our neighborhood, and we hoped that maybe, just once, the estimated time for pickup would be accurate. Unfortunately, this is the last time--no more!

Goodbye, Emporium Thai. We loved your food, but you've lost a customer because your service is consistently terrible and never improves. We even dined in once, and the service was awful then too. But, of course, the food was great. I kept coming back, hoping things would change, but I've learned my lesson.

(Ordered 46 minutes ago, and it was supposed to be ready 25 minutes ago.)

(We also asked for no spice for medical reasons, but the food is incredibly spicy. They completely messed that up as well. We're done.)

It feels like the owner cares more about taking photos with celebrities than focusing on service or hiring competent staff to run a restaurant properly.

Diner Review №64

They are more interested in catering to their to go orders than their restaurant patrons. We waited 50 min for our order. We have been going there due 2 years and this was the worst service we have experienced they need to get more chefs and more servers.

Diner Review №65

Staff were very nice. Food wasn’t bad. Very very pricy. For two main dishes only, bill came out to over $53. Decent veggie options and fake meat options.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

A pretty small portion for the price you pay. I had the southern curry and found it to be plain.

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

Talk about tasty Thai! One of my favorite Thai spots in Los Angeles! You could try to wear it out but it just never gets old. So scrumptious!! I could go on about what I had and blah blah blah and although I've been there a handful of times, I've never had anything I didn't like. Also if you enjoy spicy, they have no problem turning up the heat so find your "heat(#)index" and get turnt.

Plenty to choose from on the menu and offers a good price range for the great quality of cuisine. The restaurant boasts a celebrity clientele and has pictures and slideshows of them all over so there's plenty to look at during the short wait for the food to come out.

Emporium Thai is IT...you'll love it so go lift your spirits a little today.

Diner Review №70

The employee at this restaurant are very friendly and polite.

Diner Review №71

An impressive restaurant! I tried their wings and yellow curry chicken, and the experience was fantastic.

The wings were delicious, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, perfectly seasoned. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.

The yellow curry chicken is a must-try dish. The curry was rich and aromatic, and the chicken was tender. The combination of ingredients was well-balanced and harmonious.Highly recommend!

Diner Review №72

Amazing food and Amazing staff
The food was great, my family ordered four dishes which were all good

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Relatively on the pricier side but the Phuket wings were among the best I had. Very good wings and iced tea. Curry was on the better side but not jaw dropping.

Diner Review №75

This restaurant was not a great experience.
Start- When we got to this restaurant we sat down and they didnt have plates for all 8 of us. Soon as we sat down no water and it took them a good 10 minutes to get our water filled and the lady our waiter was taking a break and talking to a fellow employee and not giving us water. When they gave us our water we ordered. Nothing wrong was with the order but later on something wrong was with the order. Also the lights were out and one of the employees were looking at us and not giving us a light that we can use and is working so we had to grab a other light from a other table.

Middle - When we got our food we got our soup. The soup was not bad but very spicy. But when we got our main course is where everything went downfall. So we got our fried rice first came quick. But we had to wait a pretty good amount and there weren't many people in the restaurant. The green beans came out second and it was the best of the food. The thai basil was good but they could have added a lot more spice as it was very bland. They gave us 2 rices as we ordered 2 chickens but our waiter said we ordered only 1 chicken. We ordered another chicken with more spice. Then the second fried rice came out after 20-30 mins. We ordered chicken and no eggs but they gave us chicken and egg fried rice. We told the waiter we dont want it but she said in a rudely response “I cannot take it back”. She could have said this in a politer and better way. Then our second chicken and as i said we wanted it more spicy this time they put no sauce and it was more bland than the 1st chicken. This was the worst out of all the foods. Then we ordered one more rice and they gave us cold rice and never gave us steamed white rice. That was it for the food.

End- When we were done we asked for 2 boxes. It took the lady 10 minutes to just get 2 boxes as she was talking to a fellow employee. There was nobody anyway in the restaurant. When she bringed out the bill nothing went wrong.

Conclusion- I do not recommend this restaurant there better places we have had in Michigan or places near there. Also they had a 18% gratuity and the service wasnt worth that.

Diner Review №76

Very tasty but be careful on spice levels. I ordered 4 and it felt like 10! Can barely enjoy it and I like spicy

Diner Review №77

Emporium Thai is beyond delicious. The 3 Generation green curry with Crab, Drunken Seafood Noodles, and soft shell crab dishes were mindblowingly flavorful and complex. I can’t wait to go back to try even more of their food.

Diner Review №78

Thai basil scallop. THAI BASIL SCALLOP!!!!!

The wings were amazing too. They were crunchy and juicy and the sauce that came with it is incredible. I’m hungry thinking about it now.

Diner Review №79

Food is good but overpriced, be ready spend 100$ plus for 2

Diner Review №80

truly Thai!

Diner Review №81

Solid Thai eatery close to Wilshire. Convenient opening hours, friendly staff. Lunch portion size was OK. Clearly catering to the nearby business district. The food was OK. I prefer Bangkok West Thai in Santa Monica, but it's only open for a few hours a day.

Diner Review №82

Unreal food, I got the Pad See Ew w/ Shrimp at a 3 Spice level, it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Highly recommend, complements to the chef.

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

It was so great atmosphere and delicious food!!! The owner very nice and friendly.

Diner Review №85

Good food but a little pricey

Diner Review №86

Food is very good. Service is awful. They cram too many people in a very small space. You're better off ordering to go

Diner Review №87

The food was great and the service was awesome, especially with our big group. I am very grateful they were able to accommodate my family as a walk-in, especially on a busy day (graduation day).

Diner Review №88

Nice setting and service, food was underwhelming. Tom Yum soup was fantastic, depth of flavor was there. Pad Thai was fresh but had no real flavor. Not enough fish sauce nor tamarind paste. Should have the balance of sweet salty and sour, this leaned sweet and was bland. Wings were ok, the curry sauce under was good and flavorful but not enough to enhance the dish because it was in a cabbage bed and it was hard to really add it to the wings.

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

I don’t like that I can’t call in for pick up. I had to wait a while because I couldn’t call in and ask how long the order would take (it took longer than the automated system suggested it would - which is why it’d have been helpful to call in)

Diner Review №91

Diner Review №92

Good food and great taste. I got the Panang curry and level 4 spicy and it was perfect.

Diner Review №93

‘Melissa, thank you! This is delicious!’ So said the cast and crew as they indulged in lunch at today’s shoot. Much as I wanted to take credit, I had to give it to John and team for this success. Amazing food and elite service. Thank you!

Diner Review №94

Love Emporium Thai! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, and the wait service was impeccable. Every dish we ordered was a burst of flavor - truly delicious! But what really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the owner, John. He's not just a proprietor; he's a kind and generous individual who genuinely cares about his patrons.

In addition to the fantastic dine-in experience, Emporium Thai also offers catering services, which I can only imagine are as exceptional as their in-house dining. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back for more of their delicious dishes and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended!

This spot is amazing! We had the bad Thai with chicken, chicken curry, and egg rolls. Highly recommend coming back or ordering their catering.

Diner Review №102

Diner Review №103

Finished filming and then workplace provided food from here it was awesome. Love the fried rice chicken and curry.

Diner Review №108

Big thanks and shout-out to John from Emporium Thai for catering our Curbivore event! We did a huge conference on delivery and restaurants so it was imperative to have great food throughout the day and Emporium Thai totally delivered!

Great variety, flavors that popped, and everything was beautifully laid out. Service was smooth and professional. They were a big hit with everyone. For anyone looking for top-quality Thai catering and/or dining in general, these are your go-to folks!

PS - Check out Emporium Thai's Instagram (@emporiumthai) as it's cool to see all the celebs that are constantly coming in!

Diner Review №109

Wonderful lunch today at Emporium Thai. We tried the Puhket Wings that had a nice kick and paired well with the papaya salad. Pad Thai, Crispy Duck, and Southern Curry were all delicious and the mango and sticky rice for dessert were great too, mango was perfect and not over ripe. Can't wait to try it again!

Diner Review №110

"I recently dined at this restaurant and was blown away by the delicious Thai food! The flavors were authentic and incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend trying it out!"

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

The waitress who served us was extremely rude and ill mannered, and I observed difference in her behaviour when she was attending us and then a white lady next to us, on top of everything she never came to check a table of 5 but nicely made a check for a table of 7 with 18 percent gratuity on enquiry she said she can’t void the check and never saw the other two people leaving who came with us and left before we even ordered food
I don’t understand how she served four glasses of water for five people but made a check for a table of 7.

Best of luck guys because she will make your guests runaway

Diner Review №113

One bad staff can kill everything for a business and something similar happened with me when I received bad attitude from one of your staff, she was rude and was 110% racist.

Took orders as if she is doing us a favor, couldn't answer simple questions with politeness neither understood the meaning of please, got 4 waters for a table of 5 and 5 bowls too for soup but gave a check for a table of more than 6 with gratuity added of $25 and on confirm said that now she can not do anything, when I said but it's not the right way she said my guest give me 18 percent always so you tell me how much you want to give me and I can return the remaining amount.

I don't know the name of this women but if anyone is reading she is Asian and was on shift on Sat, April 20th at 10 pm.

I hope you guys train her with some manners and guest service.

Great ambiance and great food. Would go again.

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

Came here after getting out of the hospital from a bad accident, the food was so good I swear I could feel it healing my aches

Diner Review №118

Excellent service but there are better places to eat Thai food. For the price, the food quality was just not there. The chicken was overcooked, the yellow curry was watery, and the carrots were undercooked. Maybe I came to this place on an off day but I decided against using this restaurant as a caterer.

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

If I could, I would give no stars. This place has a vegan menu but the food is never vegan. In several occasions, the vegan dishes have meat in them. This last time, we were so hungry and ordered from them because they showed the fastest delivery. The food was extremely overpriced, not fresh tasting and one of the 4 dishes had meat in it. We ordered off the vegan plant based menu! We tried calling the restaurant but it’s all AI and we couldn’t reach anyone. DoorDash isn’t doing anything about it either. Very disappointing. We will never order from here again.

Diner Review №121

The food was good but NOT as good as I hoped with all of the awards they have. Friday night was very crowded people were standing outside to get in and it is a very small place. I recommend RSVP'ING. The people standing in line held the door open and it was a cold night that was very unpleasant that on top of the right space. There were 3 of us packed in at a table for 2. And there was a nice spacious table that was empty the whole time we were there I could help but wish we were sitting there.

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

Good service and pad Thai with chicken is sooo delicious! must try if you come! Thai tea is also sweet and curry is also recommended! Definitely will come back again!

Diner Review №124

Best Thai food I've had in a long time. Had the Thai basil crispy pork over rice that was fantastic. Would recommend and would return.

Diner Review №125

This restaurant was packed at 6:00 on a Wednesday and for good reason. The food is absolutely delicious. By no means is it cheap - a regular chicken curry dish was $25. They have a very helpful spice scale so you can choose how spicy you want your meal - I love spicy so I went with a 4 and was sweating but again, absolutely delicious. It's a family run business and they do a great job. They are also happy to make alterations or substitutions to what you want.

Diner Review №126

They were extremely rude and sullen especially woman behind the desk.

Diner Review №127

Amazing service, tasteful food and staff has a great attitude which matters to me alot.

Diner Review №128

We just had dinner there and had a wonderful experience. Loved the Pad Thai with chicken, and the cocktails! They just got a full liquor license and their cocktails are delicious. We will definitely be back again soon!

Diner Review №134

Update: since my first time here I’ve tried the food two more times. It was not the same food experience. The first time I had the Thai Basil Chicken with rice and an egg on top… subbed for the ground chicken and level 5 spice. It was delicious!!!

Second time I ordered the same thing it was just ok, so the third time I ordered something different. The Pad See Ew with chicken and it was the worse I ever had. It was so dry, like they forgot to put sauce on it. It totally lacked flavor.. waste of money and their food isn’t cheap. This last time was with Uber eats. I called to let them know about my experience and they told me to email which I did. It’s been over a week and no response.

Diner Review №135

Ordered Basil Chicken and crispy duck and both were phenomenal! My daughter who is allergic to a lot of food was able to eat here and also got thai tea with coconut milk! Fast service and close to UCLA!

Diner Review №136

What a great Bday dinner the owner John organized. He even bought a 7 lb fish and one of the lovely servers portioned it for us. Very happy with the tasty dishes which are family secrets. Make sure you order mild Level 2 if you don't like hot food. Emporium Thai was a little crowded on that Saturday night but they have plans to expand next door. Good move.

Diner Review №137

This was a good place to eat but would not be my first option if I wanted Thai food.

I went for a reservation and waited at the door with no response from any front of house or staff.

Once we were seated, our orders were taken and the food was served quickly. The food was good and wasn’t necessarily different or unique.

Diner Review №138

We got catering today with Emporium Thai. The food is so great!

Diner Review №139

I love everything here🥰🥰🥰

Diner Review №144

Bad experience. Extremely rude waitress (somewhat younger gal). Our server needs to practice proper people skills. Attended to others, yet she acted like we didn't exist.

Service was almost non-existent.
Waitress only came around once in the beginning to check if we needed anything (eventually became short on napkins and drinks). I couldn't help but to notice her attend to another party a few tables away multiple times. While all of us needed a refill, napkins, an extra item, but she never got to us. When it was time for the bill she had the audacity to include herself an 18% tip, even though the receipt clearly states a party of 6 is to get charged 18% gratuity. It was only 4 of us. Either she doesn't know the difference between a party of 4 and a party of 6, OR they're just ripping people off. Unethical Business.

Even though their food was decent, (nothing special), I will definitely not be coming back here again!

Diner Review №145

Really excellent Thai restaurant. Have been coming here for many years, the food never disappoints. Tomyum soup and pad see ew is my favorite. Thank you Fah for the excellent service!

I am writing this review sitting in the restaurant. I have time to write it because I’m bored from waiting for the food.

Diner Review №148

Will return again!

Diner Review №149

Our friends recommended this place. Absolutely satisfied with the food and service. Highly recommend Thai Fried rice, Thai and yellow curry.

Diner Review №150

First time, really good

Diner Review №151

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Every part was wonderful and delicious. The Crispy Honey Duck and Pad See Ew were our entrées of choice, and were both excellent! The Mango Sticky Rice dessert was so tasty that we had to order another immediately after finishing our first. The service was lovely and all of our orders arrived very quickly. I will absolutely be returning soon to enjoy another meal here. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Emporium Thai!

Wowww i just really wanna say the atmosphere is really nice ! The southern curry chicken is also really nice, and the fried crab thing??? What?? Its so nice!!! Like ughhdhhhs ... its so crunchy and delicious and just ????? Yeah go try it!!! I had the thai tea and its too sweet for my liking to be sure to ask for less sweet if you're like me!

Diner Review №157

Requested drinks to be served prior to food as my date was still ordering. Waitress brought out food with our drinks that we had not yet ordered. When requesting a change on the food that was delivered with our drinks, waitress notified us the food could not be changed as it was already prepared. Quality wise, food portions were for one person versus sharing size and twice as expensive as any other Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. Unfortunately the service tarnished the experience and will not be returning.

Emporium Thai is a very nice place, the setting is beautiful, and the staff are very kind and friendly. Most of all the food is delicious! My main dish was steamed white rice and tofu, it was so good I almost fell out of my seat!! Lastly I had the Thai iced tea, it was really sweet and definitely my favorite drink of the day!

There was a piece of chicken in the Vegetarian Tom Kha soup.
The Pad Thai beef smelled old and gamey.

(we ordered takeaway)

여기까지와서 먹을 맛은 아니지만 .. 팟타이가 시큼하지도 않고, 맛있긴 했어요!

Diner Review №163

From mouthwatering Pad Thai to aromatic Green Curry and Tom Yum soup, their menu boasts authentic Thai flavors that transport you straight to Thailand

Diner Review №164

This place is misrepresenting itself as Thai Vegan in Ubereats. They copied their menu and name to look like they are part of the same restaurant group.

The food we ordered was very bland, some parts were undercooked and the rice was hard. Quantities were tiny and price was sky high. Luckily we got a full refund from Uber.

Never ordering from here on purpose given how deceitful they are.

My family had dinner at your restaurant recently, the food was good, but the customer service was not very good, in general, the waiter didn't. give us recommendations and no welcome,etc.. at the end of the bill, the menu says that they add the tip for parties of 6 people or more and we were only 5 of us, and they still added the tip with their ok😐 service. I think we will not come back

Never disappoints. Been coming here for years and the food is just consistently good ! We had Phuket Wings, Pad Thai Prawns , Crispy Duck and Thai Basil w/ Egg and Pork belly. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Will coming back for sure.

Diner Review №176

Emporium Thai exceeded my expectations. The pad Thai was perfect especially the Crispy Fried Duck, Phuket wings and the Thai Basil.
I’ll definitely be returning to Emporium Thai to explore more of their menu.

Thank you for the dining experience!

Just might hands down be my favorite Thai restaurant on the Westside. Here’s what you must order:

- Crispy egg rolls: light and crispy
- Phuket wings: my absolute fave!
- Akon salad: I’m allergic to peanuts so i couldn’t go all in but i took a bit of mango and scraped them off just to try. It was just as amazing as you’d think! The contrast between nutty (peanut) and sweet (mango) is different but really good!
- Southern curry: what they’re famous for. I’m typically not a curry person but there’s was the BOMB! I could eat it every day along with the sticky rice.
- Pad Thai: a classic great dish
- Cardi B Mango Sticky Rice: i see why she loves this stuff! The mango’s are al dente and the rice isn’t too sticky and mushy. I loved it.

Overall I had an amazing experience here! The service was exceptional and I can see why the owner & his family are beloved by the locals. It’s an intimate yet lively space that’s great for groups and date nights. I highly recommend this place!

Had an unpleasant experience yesterday. The waitress was rude and seemed like she really didn't want to serve. When asked a couple of questions, she acted as if she was doing us a favor and seemed irritated. To end it all, she charged us $23 falsely and when we pointed it out, she said she'll correct it, but without sincerely apologizing for it. The food was nothing to brag about too. Very bland and tasteless!

The Pad See Ew was delicious and the ambience is lovely!

Diner Review №183

Great spot for an intimate dinner. Had the southern curry & the pad see ew with shrimp and they were both delicious. BEWARE OF SPICE LEVELS, we got a 3 for the curry and it was just a tad too spicy for me. Still loved it though.

Diner Review №184

Delicious food and great atmosphere! The drunken noodles are fantastic

Diner Review №185

Truly one of the best Thai restaurants in the USA. don't skip on ordering their famous Mussaman Curry Beef. The best!

Diner Review №186

I’ve known and been going to this place for a while now , my favorite Thai spot , great food , great service , always a warm feeling. By the way, they have been working hard to improve their menu and adding healthy options while maintaining the authentic taste. They also only use high quality natural ingredients for their foods(I know this because I know the owner) , definitely a must go place

Diner Review №187

Food was so great!!! First time eating here and we are definitely coming back!! Ordered the crispy pork and it was delicious- 5 stars all around 😁😁😁

Diner Review №188

We got the Thai ice tea and chicken pad Thai, solid choices and good-size portions! Server was very kind and attentive! Definitely will come back!

I had the best experience getting the mango sticky rice catered for the annual USC Asian Pacific American Student Assembly’s Night Market, an event reaching 1K+ students. I absolutely loved working with Emporium Thai. Not only was the food of amazing quality, working with the team was so smoothly done. Would highly highly recommend!!

Diner Review №193

Emporium Thai is a must-visit for any Thai food lover in West Los Angeles. The food is consistently delicious and authentic, and the menu is extensive, with something to please everyone. I highly recommend the Massaman Curry, which is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The service is also excellent, and the staff is always happy to help you choose the perfect dishes and spice level. Overall, Emporium Thai is a fantastic restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Diner Review №195

I recently dined at a Thai restaurant and tried their Pad Thai and Tom Yum. The Pad Thai was flavorful with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the Tom Yum had a delightful tangy kick with fresh ingredients. Overall, a satisfying Thai culinary experience!

Diner Review №196

We love this place ☺️ Nanny is always so helpful, and we really appreciate the authentic Thai food here. We recommend the UCLA curry & the vegeterian friend rice. Lots of vegeterian options for everyone, and it’s always full, so make sure you reserve your place if it’s for a weekend treat ☀️ The vibes are very romantic too ☺️

Diner Review №197

The flavor of the food was amaazing. Rice and food was not as hot as would’ve liked it to be but it was still very good. The server was so sweet and helpful. Will definitely be back!
