Also brought us complimentary watermelon after our meal. If we lived in the area, this would absolutely be a regular spot!

Travelling from Australia and after eating dinner here I will have to come back. Amazing food, in particular the coconut soup was one of the best I've ever had! Ordered mongo smoothies to break up the American soft drinks and was amazed to take real mango! It was the perfect low key night after a busy day.

Customer service was top notch also. Not only to us but to each and every other customer that came in. Clearly a favourite with locals overhearing friendly conversations.

Thank you for the amazing food! Please don't change a thing :)

Pleasant dining room. Waiter was super nice to my friend who couldn't decide between soup or salad... he just brought her both.

If you can't find parking, drive a block east. There are hourly meters on Hollywood Blvd there that are often open.

Without old papa as the former owner, this place will go out of business soon, or maybe permanently closed now. New owner serves less tasty, less portion, and much higher food prices now. She has offended me several times on food quality, causing me to go to Torung Thai, next door, across the street every time now.

I had a great experience with some friends. It was for a birthday celebration & at the end of the meal the mother & daughter who run the restaurant sang happy birthday & even gave them a gift including one of the kids. It's a very humble place with such kindness & delicious food. Highly recommend it

My favorite Thai is King of Thai Noodle House in San Francisco. Much much better food quality and service. I was looking for a good Thai Noodle House. This wasn't it and paying $14 for a salad I didn't want in the first place was disappointing.

For me good LA restaurants are hard to find.

I used to love the little old man's recipes. They were so delicious.Ever since some years ago when he retired and new ownership took over, the recipes have changed and they're not as good in my opinion.

Best place ever have been coming here for decades ever since a child but all pf sudden place has been closed hopefully not permanently

Amazing Padang curry, great value

Popped in for a quick smoothie but ended up getting the green curry lunch special with complimentary watermelon, the owner who served us was super sweet & the food was delicious so glad we stopped in!!

Very good thaï restaurant. Really good prices and the food is very tasty. Nice staff. Try the sticky rice with mango if you can !

I come here for their lunch specials all the time at $8.95- soup, entree, rice and eggroll.
The best part is it’s delicious and when I feel like having a full Thai feast for dinner, there are so many good options such as yellow curry (super authentic), fried rice, minced chicken with basil leaves, delicious soups. Probably the best Thai food I’ve had in LA

Been here a handful of times. But this time we came to have a little birthday dinner for my mother. We were a party of 8. We had reservations but it wasnt busy. We ordered right away and the food came out pretty timely. We ordered coconut soup a couple fried rice and noddle dishes , everything was delicious! There was only one attended so there was little delay between things but not too slow. We brought our own cake and they stored it for us until it was time to cut it. When we finally got to the cake they surprised my mom with a gift! 🎁 She loved it! They spoiled out girls with ice cream and chips. Plus some sliced apples as an end of meal treat. They always have great hospitality. It's nice cozy place for family evening highly recommend.

Need some education about food allergies. Waitress had no idea about differences between vegetarian and Gluten Free. PLUS very bad roof leaking inside the restaurant

Best Thai place in Thai Town! Excellent customer service!

They have very bad service and their food Quality and quantity is very poor. We ordered the beef chow mein and it came cold and it looks like it wasn’t freshly cooked, they gave us only 3 pieces of beef. We also ordered the orange chicken and they gave us so little and it didn’t even taste like it.

Everything is great besides the never-ending increases in prices. It's a hole in a wall, but it has Michelin prices.
It's getting very difficult to afford this place.
I don't think I am coming back.

My husband and I have been coming here for almost 6 years. We love the food - definitely recommending the yellow curry and pineapple fried rice. The owner is the nicest woman and she has made such a lovely dining environment.

Absolutely amazing food. I’ve been coming here for the past few years with my family and it’s always consistent. I’m genuinely surprised there’s not as many reviews on here? but it definitely doesn’t take away of how popular the spot actually is. It’s a lil restaurant, nothing TOO crazy inside, but it just feels very welcoming and I love the boss. She’s incredibly sweet and serves I would assume most people because she’s always there. She has continuously given different treats to us after meals without ask and she does this to customers eating their meals as a sense of thankfulness. We find it absolutely adorable that she does this, because she realistically has no need to go this far for perfect service, but it just shows how much she cares.(I’ve seen her do it to other families,NOT JUST US)
Please consider going to this place, you’re not going to regret it. It takes a lot for me to review certain places but I really had to go out of my way for this one!

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. I really appreciate the service and they are very sweet. I love the food as well I cant get enough of the soup its too good! came on my birthday and it was one of the best experiences with my family, its a very relaxing atmosphere and they even decorate for the holidays. This restaurant is very nostalgic for me because I came here since the late 90s and every time I come back home satisfied and full.
