Set in a strip mall, this unassuming spot serves familiar Thai curries, stir-fries & noodle dishes.
This was my first time and most likely last time going unless I give them another chance to redeem themselves dining. What led me here was a quick search via Food near me, so I choose this place, Ordered for take out and that was that. I spent over 130.00 dollars and I was expecting much more. The portions were enough to make a plate for me and my mother, totally was expecting more. Now was it good, the fried pork belly was really good, the Pa Nang was Decent, Orange Chicken Never again, Shrimp Tom-Kha only like 4 shrimps, Combination Pad Thai was Good But with the Pa Nang Much better, Crab Fried Rice was Decent, Beef Salad untouched, and The Asparagus and Mushroom just juicy, hardly any flavor.
This is the #1 Thai Food restaurant in Long Beach.
I have been a loyal customer for 23yrs.
The Panang Curry with Chicken is my absolute favorite dish.
The Veggie Tempura, Chicken Satay and Ceggie Egg Roll appetizers are the best way to Intro yourself to the place, trust me.......
We've been coming here for many years and have always been pleased with the food. My go-to is the thai boat noodle. Many of their stir-fry dishes are excellent too. My kids loves their fried-rice.

I no longer live in California but I always come back to this place whenever I’m in town. The Thai boat noodles dish is so delicious.
First time going, great food, good lunch deals, you should give em a try.
Good service, kind waiter. Plain ,really plain ,nothing special thai food.
Got some food delivered- one of our items was the roasted duck and watercress- when I received the plate it was watercress with duck ontop but then 75% of the container was filled with broth? Not exactly what I was thinking when I ordered roasted duck. But I called the store explained the situation and they graciously told me they would switch the dish out for another with less broth or even another dish. Got there the other dish was ready and they were super nice about it. Haven’t eaten there but the inside looked nice and clearly they provide good service. Thanks LBTR !

We love LB Thai! Im allergic to shellfish and it's one of the few restaurants that mainly serve dishes using fish or oyster sauce that I will eat at. I've never had an issue with cross contamination and the staff is always patient when answering my questions about what is in a specific dish because of my allergies. My husband (no allergies) has had lots of dishes and loved them all too.
Food and service were good. The green curry was sweeter than I like, but I know that probably how more Thai people like it. The portion sizes were average.
great food. great atmosphere. food was served quick as well.
One of my favorites
Very nice restaurant on the inside. Great lunch special!
Excellent food and great service! Recommend it 😁
The best Thai place so far in Long Beach.
This was my first time and most likely last time going unless I give them another chance to redeem themselves dining. Found Khao Soi here! Pad thai and papaya salad were tops! Lovely gracious service!
Found a long hair in my soup and it was not my family hair or my hair
I am Thai and this is pretty good Thai food. We ordered a couple of dishes to try. Grilled pork on skewers, spicy seafood soup, papaya salad, their house fried rice, and larb. Personally, I liked their papaya salad and soup. They were really tasty just like when I had them in Thailand. If you're not sure how spicy you can handle, start with mild. Overall, it was good!
Good Thai Food
La comida está muy deliciosa.
This is my most favorite Thai restaurant for now.
A friend recommended this place. Everything was very fresh. I appreciated the cream cheese wontons and papaya salad. The pad Thai was good but a little too sweet for my liking. The panang curry was good but needed more vegetables. The Thai iced tea was good as well. Overall a good place for Thai food and worth a try if you are local.
This restaurant has really nice workers that work there I really love this place in Long Beach California
Will definitely be going back
This place has competent Thai food. The service is efficient.
I was there with a friend tonight and at about 8:00 they gave last call. I took that to mean the kitchen would be closing soon.
Early but ok. Generally that means one can finish their food in a relaxed manner. Then a guy with a mop with ammonia comes out and starts mopping the floor. Whatever taste I had in my mouth from the food was completely blocked out by the smell of ammonia! What the hell. Then another guy came out and was sweeping several feet from our table. So, we began shoveling our food down and they quickly brought the check, and THEN said they were trying to close. They didn't actually say "would you please leave" but that was the message. 8:30 on a Sunday night seems a bit early but the staff was not gracious at all about it. I will not be returning. I don't like to be given the bums rush. It was just rude. No "thank you for coming" or anything like that.
The food is not bad, but between the ammonia and the impatient attitude... there are better choices. Bye, bye Long Beach Thai.
Great crab rangoon, papaya salad and Pad thai
Everything is great in my opinion.
Clean establishment, professional and quick service. Food was great! Green curry was balanced and the thai iced tea was delicious. Papaya salad was a little bit salty.
Best Thai food, outside of Thailand.
Great place and food, parking is easy on street up front. The servers were very quick and kind. We will definitely be going back.
By far some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. Everything was fresh and they had many vegetarian options too!
I ordered off Uber eats the pad kra Pao is the best I've ever had and I'll be ordering from here more often
They need to add more spicy dishes on their menu 🌶️😋🍽️
My fav Thai restaurant in LB. Panang curry is to die for
Great restaurants for the best authentic Thai Boat noodles.
Gentrification destroyed this place. Portions alot smaller, food flavor is absent now... even their Tom kha is all powdery now. Pad see ew had little flavor which threw me off
Love the Thai food at this place. I will definitely come back!
Such good service. Very attentive :)
Just so solid every time. That’s it- it’s just SO delicious.
Please try their crab cakes!!!! It is so good with their sauce!
I always order that and the classic panang curry! I like soft tofu for protein but all their protein is delicious.
My boyfriend always order their thai boat noodle. I did have a sip. It is very yummy with their flat noodles. I have yet to experience anything remotely bad there!
The food was good. Service was great. Don't really have much to say other than it was a nice experience and it was nice to be able to talk and enjoy my food.
Good food. Authentic flavors. Fair value.
This is my 3rd time and this place is absolutely incredible. Today we had curry soup, pad Thai, and boat noodle soup. Different from last time and still so good. Highly recommended.
Omg best orange chicken ever and there pad thai noodles awesome ..
We eat there often and recommend to everyone
Decent food. Terrible service. The owners and managers and waiters we're nice but the service was awful. Waited 32 minutes then overcharged. Prices are pricey enough to make Gov. Gavin Newsom raise an eyebrow.
Good food and fast service
Great food, huge selection! Enjoyed our meals, thank you!
Try the curry noodle, 10/10
Overpriced and tiny portions, at least when ordered online
OMG, everything was authentic ,fresh and delicious 😋
Great food and great service
Best Thai Restaurant in LB
Is good 👍🏼
We ordered take out on Sunday, stuffed wings was very dried inside, seemed like 2 days old stuffed wings, no seasoning or flavored. Also the noodles was not good compared from last order.
That’s too bad, cause we liked to support our neighbor restaurants!
I love this restaurant. Good food and good service.
Very inconspicuous location. Parking is in the back or on the main street if you're lucky.
Their food is delicious! Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how full the restaurant was. They seated me promptly and were very polite. The food came about 30 minutes after ordering and it was worth the wait. I got a pork dish that had cut pork sections with the fat and rice.
Honestly my favorite place to go for Thai food it’s ALWAYS so good I’ve been going since 2019 and never not liked a dish.
Only downside is it’s pretty overpriced and when ordering take out the portions are so small. Definitely not worth the price when getting take out and just an order of rice is $3? One bag of rice at the store is less than that... They get so many customers I’m surprised their serving sizes are still so small.
So DINE IN! They’re really fast and it’s a better experience.
I ordered Tom kha, with chicken and tofu with a side of rice. Food is good aswell as atmosphere.
Excellent service with a smile, fresh vegetables, and pho perfect for cold seasons
Clean well-lit restaurant with excellent and attentive service.
I was pleasantly surprised and I look forward to returning soon.
Best Thai food I've ever had.
Food is very good in general but it is on the sweeter side.
First time trying the Thai Boat Noodles and they were bomb! It’s like Vietnamese pho but with a strong spicy broth
Great quality Thai Food. I enjoy their Thai Boat noddles, love the option for the different variations of noodles and meats you can have. The service is always quick.
The portions are decent, but doesn't justify the price. Wish they gave me more food for their entree dishes.
Really good Thai boat. And awesome staff
Thai boat noodles are unbeatable and also most consistent compared to any other place offering Thai boat.
Food is delish. Priced on the higher side, but it's to be expected with rising food costs.
the food here is absolutely amazing. that pad see ew really got me curling up my toes. like zayum their food be having an affect of me. my only change would be a better location with more parking and away from a busy road
The food was good hit the spot. The server was really nice the prices are pretty good. My food was done sooo fast.
Second best beef panang curry (after wife's).
I only eat here for their best boat noodle. I Tried other places, none can compare here.
This is the only noodle n place that have intestines.
When I dont feel well, i crave the boat noodle. I can feel the spices creeping to my brain! Oooo the awakening feeling!!
The best DUCK NOODLE soup on earth. I have plenty of stamps in my passport as proof of opinion.
With a few of the employees, I don't even have to order. They know I always go with Large Duck soup, small noodles, medium spicy with extra garlic. Sometimes I also get the Shrimp Rolls.
The restroom is always pleasant and clean.
I rate restaurants by:
1) Good Food
2) Clean restrooms
3) Attractive customers.
L.B. Thai gets 4 to 5 Stars in all three of these categories.
Um… their Thai Boat Noodles are SO GOOD!! I got mine Thai spicy with the extra wide noodles. I loved it so much! It was so flavorful and the ingredients from the beans sprouts to the combination meats were so fresh! The only not so great thing was the parking, but the noodles are definitely worth it. 🍲🤤💗💗
Best thai food in LB
Nice place, nice costumer service and delicious food.
This place has very good food. I didn't take any pictures. We ordered a variety of items. We had cream cheese rolls, egg rolls, and tempura appetizers as well as Pad Thai, curry noodle soups, chicken satay, and noodle soup with chicken and shrimp. Super yum
They should clearly mark vegan options like many other Thai restaurants do because ordering there is not a very easy experience for vegans. I liked that their mask policy was pretty strict with lots of signs reminding people to wear their masks while not eating, it worked. Food was okay but I had to make modifications.
Looking at this picture it's safe to say, the food was really good lol.
Extremely Disappointed!!! We ordered different ala carte dishes. The portions were for a toddler, seriously, very bland and skimpy with the meat. Won't go there again.
Great little place and the food is awesome.
Excellent service and foog
Best Thai food in Long Beach. I’ve been eating here for four years and the food is very consistent, fresh and yummy. The staff is also very kind!
Great food great customer service clean ..

I eat what my Thai food knowledgeable friends order and I can tell you it was great!
Tasty Thai food...
Great place just for a quick sit down to enjoy simple and delicious food.
Absolutely Deliciously Filling...
Great food and service
Great food with good sized portions. The waiter we had was amazing! Very attentive but never hovering. Looking forward to going back soon!
Never disappoints,
Very delicious place. Can't go wrong with Fried rice, pad see ew, and pad thai.
Food was delicious. Service was decent to good, depending on the number of customers.
Good place to eat. Great selection, and the customer service was very friendly. Roasted duck Curry was was delicious, and I can see my self stopping by again if I'm in the area.
